Philza loves to tease his husband to get a cute reaction from him. For Phil, there is nothing cuter than seeing Missa blushing at whatever he said. But people get used to things and Phil won't always get the cute missa reaction that he loves to see.. that's bother him a little.

"uhm.." phil said.

"what?" Missa asked

"we're holding hands."

"yes, we are" Missa smiles

Philza stopped his steps. Normally something as simple as walking around holding hands would make Missa nervous and shy, but there's no sign of that happening, in fact he looks totally confident. Don't get it wrong, Philza loves seeing confidence in her husband, but at the same time she hates having a cute reaction from him.

"Oh, is something wrong? Why are we stopping?"

"Missa."

"what's happening?" Missa said confused and worried

"i love you."

" i.. i love.. you too." The words barely come out of Missa's mouth in full and he blushes.

Philza is pleased, a smile appears on his face and he can't help but grab his cheeks and kiss him on the cheeks.

The walk was going to continue, but now it's Missa who can't keep walking.

...I want so badly to write. Or at least work on my sewing some more. But I'm so stressed out running in a bad mental spiral that I actually have back pain from the stress. Nothing like coasting along for almost two weeks thinking everything is fine and then getting blindsided. My partner has no money for the bills that are due in two days and I'm now $1300 short. Poverty is an unending cruelty that just grinds everything to dust.
