Golden Days Au Headcanons for Raine

- Calls Hunter nicknames like “buddy” and “big guy”

- Is always humming lullabies, doesn’t matter what they’re doing you can always hear a little tune or song for them

- Plays Hunter lullabies on their violin, Hunter had found the sheet music to Raine’s Rhapsody and begged to hear it when Raine told him the story of a beautiful red haired witch from long ago

- Let’s Hunter ride on their shoulders since Adrian and Darius are both too concerned about their hair

- Watches Hunter when Adrian or Darius have coven head meetings, sometimes Hunter stays the night when the meetings run late into the evening

- In my Au Raine teaches bard magic within the Emperor’s coven (sort of like the music director of the emperors marching band) so they bring Hunter to class when they’re watching him and their students adore little Hunter.

- Their the best at getting Hunter settled down for naps with their calming presence, if Darius just can’t get Hunter to sleep he’ll pass him to Raine and Hunter goes down immediately.

- Uses the “it’s spicy” excuse when they don’t want to share food

- Is terrible at playing pretend (a reference to “you’re a horrible actor”) but Hunter always appreciates their effort

- Is generally the more physically affectionate one of the group, their the first to give Hunter good night/boo-boo kisses, they’ll hold Hunter’s face in their hands or let him sleep in their chest, sometimes they’ll just carry Hunter on their hip to have them close

- Uses the whistle trick when Hunter has to take medicine so it tastes better
