general reminder for the peaceful army

if you’re going to line up for any of the shows, don’t do it days in advance. this not only takes away from the legitimate experience of seeing the boys live, but it kinda sets up space for people to be hostile with one another. whether you’re first in line or the very last person to enter that stadium, your worth as a fan is not better or worse than anyone else’s.

not to mention, lining up days in advance, no matter how prepared you are, is DANGEROUS. weather, accidents, strangers who are trying to cause harm, traffickers…the list goes on. if you want a good view or to be close to the boys, it’s best if you join a community for whatever show is in your city and decide when people should start arriving. this way, if anything happens, you will be SURROUNDED by those who can help you.

and last of all, if you see another peaceful army member struggling, HELP THEM. in the end, what is the very thing that makes us a loving, peaceful community if we act on impulse and selfishness?

DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH STUBHUB!!

Last night I had intentions of attending the GVF concert with a GA ticket I purchased 6 months ago. It was my first concert EVER. I was so pumped!!

However, upon arriving to then arena I tried to access my ticket so it could be scanned at the front doors. Well…. I searched and searched and could NOT find this ticket.

I called customer support and was hung up on TWICE. The first representative told me that the seller did not issue me my ticket in the first place and that StubHub gave him a 2 hour extension to send me my tickets. Of course I didn’t have 2 hours because the concert was starting in 30 minutes. So she offers me a refund or “compatible replacement tickets”. GREAT! I’ll purchase another GA ticket because I’ve been waiting for months to see Greta. Welp, I go to click on the GA ticket and the link goes dead. She says she’ll send me another link and puts me on hold. After about 5 minutes of being on hold she hangs up. I call back. The second representative picks up the phone and all I hear is him talking in the background. I said “hello, is anyone there” about 5 times before I was hung up on again once more. I call back AGAIN. The representative says that there are no more tickets available at all and all they can do is issue me a refund. Really??? In the span of 15 minutes you ran out of tickets AFTER telling me I was able to purchase them??

I’m freaking out. I’ve waited 6 months to see my first ever concert and I can’t even get in because “the seller” never sent me my tickets in the first place.

Thank god the lady at the front counter of the arena was able to sell me and my boyfriend 2 seat tickets right next to sammy for $70 each🥲 I’ll take it. I did NOT want to drive 2 hours back home and not get to see the people I’ve waited so long to see.

I am so upset and disappointed that this happened. Fortunately, I was able to purchase more tickets but that’s not always an option for other concert goers. StubHub is unreliable and straight up WRONG. I do not understand how you can take someone’s money and just hold it in limbo and never issue them what they paid for. I also NEVER received an email that said they were unable to send me my tickets.

Long story short, DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM STUBHUB!! After reading review this has happened to HUNDREDS of people.

The Allentown show was SO AMAZING for SO MANY REASONS!! But one of the best reasons was that JGR and JNR finally had the chance to meet in REAL LIFE for the FIRST TIME!! Thank you Greta Van Fleet for bringing us together. 🫶🏼
