i feel like something that is drastically underappreciated about kobeni is how good she is at her job as a devil hunter. the joke is that she’s scared all the time and it funny (and warranted, devils are fucking scary), but that never hinders her in her work.

 when she’s terrified during the eighth floor arc, she still pulls out her knife and is perfectly willing to kill denji. now we the audience believe that’s a horrible idea because denji is our protagonist, but to kobeni he’s just some dangerous guy who if she kills will save them. IN ANY OTHER SCENARIO KOBENI WOULD’VE BEEN RIGHT!

He's afraid of zombies and horror movies. He's fucking his coworker who is 20 years his junior. He's a cat boy.
