I was recently thinking about the parallels between Murasakibara's dynamic with Kuroko and his dynamic with Akashi. Murasakibara acts somewhat friendly to them, but I feel like the friendliness stems from different roots. For Akashi, Murasakibara followed Akashi around because he thought Akashi was stronger than him, but then that doesn't explain why Murasakibara is amicable with Kuroko. Personally, I believe that with Kuroko, Murasakibara didn't even remotely see him as a threat, so his friendliness has an undertone of condescension. Once Kuroko started becoming a threat to him in the Seirin vs Yosen match, he became a lot meaner to Kuroko, Kagami, and the rest of their teammates. But I think after he lost in the Winter Cup he sort of got rid of that mindset and started treating his friends as actual friends that he would hang out with regardless of whether they were stronger than him or not.

You don't know me part 1
Daiki Aomine x fem reader
You looked down at the court from the elevated corner of the Touo academy stadium. Despite the glaring lights, the corner remained a place of partial shadow, hiding your face as you watched. It had been three years since you were last on the court- 3 long, painful years full of bitterness and yearning, so, as a general rule, you tried to avoid watching games- for the most part, all they did was remind you of what you'd lost. However, whenever you heard that one of *them* was playing, you just couldn't seem to be able to control yourself. You had to go and watch.
The generation of miracles. Once your closest friends and companions. While Teiko was known for its dominating boys' basketball team, a it was little known by most that they also had a pretty strong girls' basketball club. You'd played as a shooter for that club for the majority of your middle school career, climbing your way up to the top and taking your team with you. After practice, you'd often hung out with the boys in the gymnasium and on the way home, and, over time, you'd become good friends. At least, that was how everything had been before that wretched day near the end of your 3rd year. The day that brought your career to a grinding halt.
With the start of high school, everyone had taken separate routes and you'd lost touch with them. Even though you acted indifferent, part of you couldn't help but feel a little sad about that- you'd loved hanging out with the guys: going to town or visiting clubs with Kise, sharing Atsushi's snacks, poking fun at Midorima as he lugged around his "lucky item" for the day, discussing the season's basketball highlights with Kuroko, lounging around and talking with Aomine after school... you hadn't realised how much these moments had meant to you, how much they'd filled up your life, until they were gone. You often wondered if they felt that way too.
Generally speaking, you hated watching basketball nowadays. It was a painful reminder of what you'd lost. When you'd been asked to coach the basketball team at your school, Seirin , you'd declined without a second thought. However, it always felt different when it was one of them playing. When you watched them, you felt like you were on the court with them, moving as one. You forgot for a time.
It was no different tonight as you watched Aomine play some B-tier school during the opening bracket of the Winter Cup. He was agile as always, weaving his way in between his opponents before they even had time to react and shooting one basket after another. His own teammates barely had the chance to touch the ball. You smiled to yourself, remembering your many 1v1v matches with Aomine back in middle school. Whenever you two needed to settle anything, it'd be done on the court. You needed a favour ? sure, if you could score 10 points before him. He wanted the answers to last week's assignment ? You'd give them to him if he managed to beat you. You pretty much never beat him- you came close sometimes- but he was quick at regaining the upper hand. Despite this, you'd improved greatly thanks to your 1v1s, something that even Aomine admitted. He'd often teach you new techniques or give you advice on how to improve your form, and, though he wasn't very patient, you learned over time.
"Why are you always teaching Y/N-chin those techniques ?" Murasakibara asked him one day when you guys were eating lunch together. Aomine had gone red and averted his gaze
"Playing against her gets lame if I win all the time," he'd replied, still not looking at you.
The buzzer sounded for the end of the first quarter, the familiar sound snapping you out of your thoughts. It was time to leave now, before they had time to notice you. You couldn't face seeing them again, not yet.
Making sure no one was looking, you crept out using a side exit while the players were still ambling off of the court. Every time you finished watching one of their basketball games, you were overcome by a strong feeling of nostalgia.
You always wondered why you did this to yourself, yet somehow you could never seem to stop.
Unconsciously, you began to walk faster as the cold night breeze sliced past your skin, anxious to get out of there before the memories completely took over your mind.
"Y/N ?" The voice that calls you is deep and rich, yet somewhat lazy.
Before you can even process what is happening, you're turning around and setting your gaze on the source of the voice.
Daiki Aomine.
Possibly the last person you want to see right now, especially after everything.

Boyfriend Tetsuya Kuroko!
Tumblr media
Definitely didn’t cry when I was witnessed this for the first time
HE WOULD HE SUCH AMAZING PARTNER ✋🏽
You two met when you accidentally bumped into each other during passing period
What got him interested was that you actually acknowledged him and apologized, he doesn’t get enough recognition that he’s there :(
Kuroko would slowly find himself gravitating towards you or admiring you from a distance, he’d do anything just to see your beautiful smile 🥹
The team would quickly notice his developed crush on you when they noticed him getting sidetracked and the little blush that would take over his face. He was fine with silently pinning over you until the team was determined to make him confess so he could focus back on basketball 😤
Kuroko confessed to you with a rose (Izuki’s idea), when you happily accept and gave him a hug he almost died on the spot of happiness 😭
When I say this man is deprived of affection HE IS DEPRIVED
Secretly a cuddle bug in privacy, his favorite way to cuddle is when he’s held firmly in your arms 🫂
He’ll take you on cute dates to animal cafes and relaxing parks, when he sees something that reminds him of you he won’t hesitate to buy it ☕️🐈
PDA consists of hand holding, hugs, and quick kisses (the more intimate ones are for later) 👀
He introduces you to the Seirin team right away and the GOM when they hang out again, he wants all his friends to know about his amazing lover
Loves when you wear his clothes because when he gets them back they have your aroma on them
If he were to get jealous (does not happen easily), he would magically appear and scare the person talking to you away, if this doesn’t work then be expected to be suddenly dragged away ☠️
Kuroko would hold your guys relationship very highly, any concerns or problems you have he will try and fix as quickly as possible
You’re in good hands that will give you lots of love and comfort throughout this relationship ❤️

i just finished knb and them hanging out in the end during Kuroko's birthday is so cute.
i also love how Momoi is consistently wearing pink ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ゙and gave Kuroko pink scarf that she made. I also love seeing the GOM boys be so appreciative of her, same with the Seirin team being appreciative of Riko - pls that scene where Teppei carried Riko when they won I have ascended (´•̥̥̥д•̥̥̥`̀ू๑)‧º·˚
Also Daiki rummaging thru Taiga's things and not finding one dirty magazine is fucking hilarious. Taiga responding "I'm not like you!" LMAO is peak comedy.
Taiga imagining what Himuro looked like when Takao "delivered" Himuro to his place is funny too (。>ㅅ<。) The way Himuro is sitting, hugging his knees to his chest is pretty freaking adorable
Also Akashi introducing himself like they didn't just play against each other LMAO and him interacting with Furihata has me clenching my heart. I love seeing him so kind like that
I noticed that after the Yosen match Murasakibara is drawn quite softly? He used to look so intense then. Especially in the last episode where he's sitting with Himuro, he looks so cute and soft and (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡
I just wanna say tho that I adore adore adore Midorimaaaaaaaa. I'm a Kise and Kuroko fan girl through and through but Midorima acknowledging people who work hard and him also working hard is soooooo admirable. At first he has this "I'm Midorima Shintaro, the best shooter in GOM, there's no way you're beating me" attitude thing but he rightfully flexes bc he works hard, BOY DOESN'T SLACK OFF evn when he's realized his talent and potential. That's admirable as hell.

dudes i'm sat here thinking about aomine claiming that momoi went into his room without his permission and snatched up a pair of kagami's EXACT shoes, then announced that the two of them are off to meet kuroko, while she's carrying these shoes, all without him knowing what's going on. aomine says she's lying that he wanted to give these to kagami, but i know for a FACT that it's aomine who is just completely lying here.
my sources are 1) i'm right, 2) that momoi doesn't lie that much, 3) aomine lies all the time. usually to protect his image as a tough guy who isn't considerate.
so what i believe ACTUALLY happened is aomine was hanging out with momoi when she got a call from kuroko. he says "hey what did kuroko want" and she says "kagamin can't find new shoes anywhere and he has the game with ki-chan this evening," and aomine goes "that idiot, why the fuck did he leave it til TODAY to get new shoes? and who only has one pair? that's ridiculous....... where are you gonna get replacement sneakers for him?" and she says ":)" and he says "not happening." and she goes "oh so you WANT kagamin to lose the game against ki-chan just because he's wearing shitty shoes?" and he says "UGH. fine. let's give him some of my old ones. i hate you. and i really hate him, he's fucking stupid," and she goes ":)"
and then when he does give them to stupid kagami, he ALSO wants to play a one-on-one and teach him a new skill he can use in his games, knowing full well that seirin went all out versus touou and showed all their cards.

my third year captain headcanons have always resolutely been seirin → kuroko, kaijo → kise, rakuzan → akashi, shuutoku → takao, yosen → some poor guy who has to wrangle murasakibara since himuro has graduated. HOWEVER, i’ve always been tickled by touou’s state of affairs because i see a lot of people saying the captaincy will/should go to sakurai but...wouldn’t it be phenomenal if it went to...aomine.....
now, i know. no one should be putting aomine in charge of anything as a general rule of thumb given his tendency to be a sleepwalking disaster BUT. i genuinely think being made captain would teach him so much, and give him the juiciest character arc (on top of already having a juicy one in canon). he’d have to work so hard to earn the second & first years’ respect because while they all think he’s a phenomenal player, they aren’t so sure about his potential as a team leader (considering his track record so far). he’d have such a hard time getting anyone to listen to him, he’d struggle so much, but deep down he’d enjoy it because when was the last time he’s had to struggle for anything? when was the last time he had to work to earn something? naturally, he’s a disaster the first few weeks or even months, but with sakurai as vice-captain, and momoi as his constant friend and manager, and with kuroko, who is also captain and also fighting an uphill battle to fill in some big shoes, he’s not so alone anymore and he gets the hang of it, even if he complains about not getting as much sleep as he used to in first year

Kuroko’s need to dote (Headcanon)
Alright, my next headcanon! I personally wish to cover every popular KNB husbando for the fans out there, so hereby I move onto Kuroko. I have not received a message from an Akashi or Murasakibara fan if they want a specific drabble yet, so I’ve been working on an idea for a Murasakibara one (warning, this drabble might contain bribery). But before that, let’s focus on our precious blue bean.  -Alright, when I say, ‘need to dote’ I mean this guy just wants to hug and fawn over everything cute and/or sweet. On the inside, he’s definitely that grandma who’s pinching cute kids cheeks and cooing but its not so noticable because of his deadpan personality. -Exhibit A. He likes animals, in particularly cute ones. -Exhibit B. Having dreams about becoming a kindergarden teacher, he definitely likes kids, particularly young ones.  -Exhibit C. Even though Momoi downright crosses some boundaries at times and he doesn’t seems to like her back, he’s never angry with her but pets her head, goes on a date with her and spoils her nonetheless in that one replace chapter. -Exhibit D. He’s almost murderous if someone hurts his team members, like what happened to Kiyoshi as well as Murasakibara in Last Game. -Its like his instincts are driven by mommy bear and grandma fever mode.  -This is also why Kuroko would make one of the best fathers in the KNB universe. -Definitely wouldn’t mind becoming a dad at a young age. -I can also see him wanting to have a big family. -His phone gallery is full with pictures of Nigou and his kids as an adult.  -He’d show them off whenever the opportunity arises. -Likely he’d adopt a few more pets. -Probably would be into cute girls working at animal shelters.  -If something were to happen to any of the GOM/Seirin team and their wives, Kuroko would be that friend taking in their kid.  -I can see him and his family being very into holiday decorations and making them together. Even foreign holidays. He’s carving pumpkins with his kids, alright! -He’d be that dad who’d proudly hang his 4 year old’s terrible art work on their home’s walls. -His s/o would be spoiled AF. -From sweet dates to long, loving cuddling sessions. He’d make sure you feel loved every day.  -This guy knows how to give you compliments, and you sure get a lot. -The kind of husband who cooes over his s/o and calls them ‘my sweetheart’ even when they’re old and months away from passing away in their sleep. -To him, you’re his sweetheart until the very end.

now hang on a moment let's hear more about Ichigo meet the knb crew asgdsfaha
Now you've truly done it. This is all your fault.
1) Logic dictates that the schools Karakura High would most likely play against are Touou, Seirin, and Shuutoku since they're all in the Tokyo district.
2) It is a canon fact that Ichigo is good at sports, giving us major It Girl vibes, but he did play with the basketball club in particular on contract for an unspecified period somewhere around the time the Winter Cup ended.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3) In the FB arc, Ichigo seems utterly disinterested in the sports themselves; his true goal is to play for the club that pays him the most money. While Ichigo is an endearing and loveable protagonist in our verse, the Law of Sports Anime dictates that this would actually make him an antagonist in their verse. The idea that anyone would play basketball without loving it would definitely not sit right with the Basketball Boys, though I only see Kuroko and Kagami being willing to do something about it. Can you imagine? Seirin vs Karakura, but Kuroko keeps trying to get Ichigo to see the appeal of basketball while Ichigo is distracted by the possibility that he can see ghosts again (because he thinks Kuroko is a ghost).
Funnier still: Shuutoku vs Karakura, where Midorima, who abides by astrology for his every life decision, encounters Ichigo, who loathes it. I think Ichigo would be determined to win on principle alone though I'm not sure how he would fare against the iconic Midorima/Takao partnership. I do desperately want Takao and Orihime to meet, though, because come on. MidoTaka 🤝 IchiHime supremacy (Gotta love the Sunshine x Grumps, right?)
Funniest of all: You know how Ichigo doesn't really care about fighting someone all that much unless they have a bone to pick with his friends? You know how Aomine's type of women is. Um. Yeah. I think it would be hilarious if Aomine decided to hit on Orihime, and Ichigo, ala that iconic scene with Shinji, decides to teach him a lesson through basketball (because let's be real: that's the only place you could ever teach Aomine anything). Ichigo does a brilliant job putting Aomine in his place in the first two quarters, and he thinks maybe this will make the guy apologize, but now Aomine is interested in him instead. Also, consequently: Aomine goes into the Zone.
Ichigo: What is 'the Zone?'
Aomine: *KnB-esque monologue that completely goes over Ichigo's head*
Orihime, helpfully (from the audience): I think it's Bankai for basketball players.
I don't think Karakura High has what it takes to make it far into the league, so the chances of them meeting Akashi and Murasakibara are pretty slim. Maybe if Ichigo put some effort in and tried to shape this team up to be the Number One in Japan. Alexa play 'Number One' (TYBW Version). Too bad he only cares about inconsequential things, like the fate of the universe, and the balance between life and death, and protecting people. Boooooo. Get real. #ballislife

Headcanons for Akashi when he's sad 😔
I did a cute one last night for Akashi laughing, so I thought I'd flip the script and break y'alls hearts rq with some headcanons I have for when Akashi isn't feeling all too great.
First of all, let's start with any canon material we have of Akashi being openly sad. There really isn't much. The only times we see him like that in the main series are at his mother's funeral as a child during that flashback, and then directly after he lost to Seirin. Even with the second instance, he tried to hold in his tears as best as he could and still put on a brave smile to go and shake hands with Kuroko. Aside from that, the only other instance I can think of is during the drama CD (season 3 volume 9) where he had a bit of an argument with Murasakibara.
Canonically, we know why he is almost never openly sad. With such high expectations placed on him by his father, the superintendents of Teiko, and even himself, showing sadness was a form of weakness. This is why, despite the fact that he was clearly overwhelmed with too much work throughout his entire childhood, he never complained. His father likely drilled that mentality into him to just suck it up and keep it pushing, because Akashi wasn't even allowed time to process his grief after losing his mother, the only support system he ever had. With this information in mind, let's get into my headcanons.
First of all, what makes Akashi upset? The first thing I can think of is his massive workload paired with the high expectations placed on him. There are probably some days when all of it is just too overwhelming and he gets stressed out, worried that he won't be able to handle it all. Whenever Akashi switches personalities in the series, it's always during a crucial basketball match. But I personally feel like if he's stressed with work all the time, he's constantly teetering on the edge of dissociating but ends up not. I can imagine him in his dorm after a long day of school trying to finish assignments late into the night, and he's desperately fighting to remain present and in the moment. It probably happens more than people think, and to avoid giving into his other self and letting him take over is something he has to do on a regular basis.
The second thing is when he feels like he hasn't been a good friend. Post-Winter Cup, Akashi tries really hard to reconnect with Kuroko and the other GoM more than he used to back in middle school. And given how he had to salvage his friendships with his former and current teams after almost ruining them both, post-Winter Cup Akashi is probably very insecure about his own ability to be a good friend to others. For example, in season 3 volume 9 of the drama CDs when he and Murasakibara had a quarrel, Murasakibara mentioned that Akashi had no idea how he felt at all before hanging up the phone. That comment stuck with Akashi, so much so that all three of the Uncrowned Kings noticed and essentially staged an intervention in the clubroom because Akashi looked so visibly bothered that it freaked them out. You can tell that he cares about his friends as well as what they think of him. He wants to be someone they can trust and depend on, but when he feels like he's missed the mark, he gets upset about it each and every time because, really and truly, he's trying his very best.
What does he look like when he's sad? The thing about Akashi is that he still sometimes has trouble letting himself be upset because he's busy and has no time for breakdowns (probably why he prefers to dissociate instead since he'd rather just detach himself from reality and not feel anything at all). As a result, he tends to bottle a lot of things up until they all spill out later, and I can see it manifesting in two ways.
1: panic attacks. With what this boy has been through, it would not surprise me in the slightest if he ever had panic attacks. If he somehow managed to avoid them throughout his entire childhood, then I think his first panic attack would come after losing the Winter Cup finals because this is the first time in his life he's ever lost at anything and he feels like his entire world is falling apart. He'd probably be hit with an overwhelming fear of what would happen to him after losing the finals, especially with how much his father emphasized victory and success over everything. And the idea of being a disappointment and disgracing his family name would probably just tear this poor boy apart. And these panic attacks are not pretty. He's hyperventilating and gasping through sobs that he desperately tries to quiet to no avail, and he trembles so badly that he can barely keep himself upright. Not good at all.
2: full system shutdown. Maybe I'm projecting my own personal experiences for this one, but I think if there was a day when he was just so stressed and tired or maybe he got news that was so devastating, his body would refuse to cope and he would just... switch off. That could mean sleeping in the middle of the day for long stretches of time because he can't handle being awake, and then when he is awake, his mind is static and he's totally nonverbal, normally for several hours. Also not good at all.
The only person who's ever seen him in the middle of either one of these types of breakdowns is Mibuchi. The first time was accidental because Akashi didn't have the foresight to lock the door at that moment. But after Mibuchi is able to calm him down/bring him back to reality, then for every time after, Akashi will actively seek out Mibuchi if he feels like he's on the verge of a breakdown. Eventually, he opens up about it to the other Uncrowned Kings and they're very supportive and tell Akashi to let them know if there's any way they can help him (he actually has to hold back tears for that).
I have a separate headcanon that post-Winter Cup Akashi eventually starts going to therapy because he realizes he could really use it, and so I would think with time, he develops better coping mechanisms and also knows how to calm himself down before getting to the point of a breakdown. (He still seeks Mibuchi out, though, cuz sometimes he just needs a hug. Is that so wrong?)
He also learns to just experience his emotions as they come and for what they are. Positive or negative, either way, all emotions are valid, and instead of hiding from sadness, you should feel it and then let it pass. Through that, he's able to make peace with himself and not be so hard on himself anymore.
Anyway, I have no idea where to end it, so I'll leave it here because I'm literally falling asleep as I write this. I need to go to bed. For anyone who I've punched in the gut with these headcanons... I'm not sorry. Bye now! 😃

hello, i'd like a matchup for my oc Dory (cis fem, she/her)! she's an INFP and, sadly, while in high school, she's not having a very good time, as she's being bullied for being weird. as a result, she keeps to herself, only speaks if spoken to and doesn't really have any friends. it takes a while for her to warm up to someone, but once she does, she lets herself be weird freely (she's a lot more talkative and energetic around someone she's comfortable with)
she really likes the deep sea and its creepy critters, animals in general and as she's an aspiring animator, she vibrates with excitement whenever she sees cool animations (and will info dump/fangirl/talk someone's ear off if given permission)
she dislikes being the center of attention, people who are mean just to be mean and mint
she is an artist (digital and painting), likes to listen to really really loud music and while she's not very sporty, she does enjoy watching her school's baskeball matches (she's a Seirin second year)
as for preferences, anyone from GoM (minus Midorima) + Himuro + Kagami + Momoi + Riko
sorry for how long this got, i got over-excited
Tumblr media
Type of Romance
Admirers to Lovers
How You Two Met
As the coach of the Seirin basketball team, Riko was often very aware of who was in the gymnasium at any given time. She'd seen Dory more than a handful of times, both in the gymnasium during practices and in the classroom during school hours. Since Dory was often by herself with headphones on (where loud music could always be heard), Riko had just assumed that she preferred to be alone.
It wasn't until, one day when leaving for the gymnasium earlier than she was supposed to, Riko ran into Dory having a little trouble with some bullies that she really started to pay attention. It sort of clicked that this classmate of hers who was always alone wasn't doing it on purpose, but rather was forced to be that way due to her circumstances.
Having a strong sense of justice herself, Riko couldn't leave Dory well enough alone.
Tumblr media
The bullies screamed as mucky water was dumped onto them, running away from the scene before anything else other than their uniforms could be damaged. When Dory looked up from her position on the floor, glancing toward the opposite side of the hall, she noticed Riko standing there with an empty mop bucket in hand, her own glare fixated on the space where the bullies had once occupied.
That angered expression softened when she turned her gaze toward Dory. Setting the bucket down, she reached a hand out to help the other girl up. "Are you okay? I think they should be gone at least for a while. Did you want to get a teacher?"
After helping her up and being assured that Dory wasn't as hurt as she'd originally assumed, Riko gave a sigh of relief. Still, she didn't feel comfortable leaving the other girl alone. "You know, I see you at practice sometimes. If you want, we could walk together from now on."
How She Fell For You
From that day forward, Riko would always try to hang out with Dory whenever possible. At first it was almost like a sense of obligation, wanting to see her classmate safe, but after a while it became more to Riko. She genuinely enjoyed spending time with Dory, learning about her interests and info dumping to her about her own.
Riko was always talking about Dory to her other friends and classmates, hyping up her art projects and praising the animation work she would show her. It came to the point that a lot of the boys on the basketball team often teased that Dory was the only person Riko talked about nowadays.
In fact, you could say that the guys realized Riko's feelings for Dory faster than she did.
Tumblr media
"What? No, no, no, no! No way!" Riko tried to protest, but the way her cheeks seemed to heat up, flooding her entire face with an embarrassed red, said otherwise. "I don't have a crush! I don't get crushes!"
But the more she thought about it, the more Riko couldn't deny that she often felt so giddy at the thought of another day spent with Dory. The long hours of texting back and forth was something she looked forward to. Finding her in class and getting to see what new projects she was working on was one of the highlights of Riko's day.
It soon became undeniable fact to her: she liked Dory.
What a Relationship with Her is Like
A relationship between Riko and Dory is a little awkward at first, simply because Riko had never imagined herself falling for another girl. She may have tried overdoing things at first, being overly sweet, acting overly chivalrous, being too over the top. It takes her a while to realize that just being herself was the best thing for the relationship.
Unfortunately, Dory is subjected to a lot of Riko's cooking attempts. Riko's love language is acts of service, so she often tries to make treats and snacks for the two of them to share (to which they also often share stomach aches afterwards).
And despite their relationship starting with Riko acting as some kind of savior toward Dory, she never holds that over her girlfriend's head. Instead, she always encourages Dory to be stronger and stand up for herself, hoping one day a little bit of her own confidence would shine through.
Tumblr media
"And if they try to bother you again, you can just wham!" Riko exclaims, swinging the clipboard she was holding much like a weapon as she swung it through the air. The action had Dory laughing, watching as Riko over exaggerated her self defense lesson. "Okay, come on, it's your turn to try."
Riko watched as Dory mimicked her actions, swinging her sketchbook with a little less force than Riko had done.
"No, no, with more umph, like this." Riko walked over to Dory's side, placing her hands over her girlfriend's. She guided her in swinging the book with enough follow through to hurt a person. Then, realizing how close they were, Riko blushed red. "O-okay, now try again."

ENOUGH!!!! I wanna hear your take on HimuKuro because now I think about them!!! And I blame your gorgeous drawings!!! (this is a request to unleash all the headcanons and thoughts and everything sorry i sound overexcited lmao)
Hello ❤️❤️ its so satisfying to see others liking it haha just according to keikaku...
I am still building out their dynamic and headcanons on my head, but I have a couple of things(also a sort of starting point). Kind of long post ahead
As I have mentioned in an older post(and I'm pretty sure you read it?) Himuro is a very emotional person, and Kuroko is a great support, chill to be with and listener. Not like harmful emotional dependence, its more a relationship of safe space and acceptance of each other.
Himuro has a tendency of being too harsh with himself and Kuroko could be a great influence changing that :)
I don't think Himuro would get in between Kuroko/Kagami, I see it happening if Kuroko feelings are unrequited therefore his heart got broken :'( Himuro heart got broken by Kagami once too so yeah. At first, he thought it would work between them, and surprisingly it didn't.
Kuroko in love gaze was still there, but with a pinch of sadness on it. On the few occasions they were all reunited, at some point Himuro noticed he was unconciously thinking about Kuroko in a different way, maybe seeing himself on it.
On a solidarity act 💔❤️‍🩹🤝 Himuro asked him to go eat something together without any particular reason(of course Kuroko figured out what was the reason behind). Although initial Himuro intentions were to comfort him a bit, as the conversation went on, and he knew Kuroko a bit more, he again empathized with him and did not wanted to see Kuroko so sad like himself were years back.
Not sure of what he was doing, feeling? compassion, love, friendship? asked Kuroko to hang out more often. Kuroko could get distracted doing activities with him + Murasakibara as a plus ^_^ "ooo muro-chin liking kuro-chin means I get to see kuro-chin more often..." haha
Occasional, though! Kuroko is still close to his Seirin friends and Kagami :D
Eventually Himuro acknowledges what he felt when seeing or talking with Kuroko, and asks him to have a date <3 in this field Himuro is more confident, if reciprocated. Kuroko is surprised, but happy to share this with someone like Himuro-kun ❤️ so cheesy forgive me.
Anyways... they could bond on similar past experiences. Also, I think they're breaking a pattern on the type of people they've liked before, and that's interesting for both. I like to believe that Himuro knows what he wants, and is an attentive, passionate lover in his own way. Kuroko is similar :)
In more headcanons, weekend visits are occasional, but very special! I think Himuro would visit Kuroko more often than the other way around, specially in surprise on fridays after class :) Kuroko at the beginning is still a bit shy in doing things like that but gains enough confidence to also appear from sudden in Akita :D the distance between them is big as hell but they do text a lot, when time is available.
Murasakibara is included, and invited into 85% of their plans. How could you not invite him
Himuro calls Kuroko by his name(Tetsuya), but for Kuroko it takes him longer and is difficult to do the same thing, forgetting it often. Tatsuya-kun is more fitting for him to say and uses it occasionally :)
That could be all for now! It can be longer, but I don't want to delay this ask more ahh
I think about them at least once or twice a day so more HimuKuro stuff to come :)c I am obsessed.

Okay but imagine!
Kuroko no Basket, ten years had passed since Kagami went to America. Kuroko keeps contact with all the Miracles and his Seirin teammates, but with everyone's schedules being so vastly different, it was far and in between that he had the chance of hanging out with anyone in person, let alone multiple people at the same time. Kagami and Aomine visit whenever their respective pro Basketball teams give them time off (after the season is over) and crash with him for like a month, but they never have it at the same time; Momoi, as Aomine's pro team current manager, has even less freedom, but she calls weekly. Midoriya visits once per month without fail to personally check in Kuroko and share a home cooked meal, but is otherwise too preoccupied with his busy doctor schedule. Kise, flying all over the world as one of the most successful model slash actor, tends to drop in unannounced at random times, hog Kuroko's attention for however long he stays (usually a day or two) and then off he goes to catch his next flight. Murasakibara, too lazy to make the trip often, coming over for special occasions and sending sweets every other Monday for Kuroko to enjoy during the week. Akashi, always the most organized, calls Kuroko to arrange dinners or lunches whenever his schedule allows it, even when he has to drive four or five hours to get to Kuroko or send his driver to pick him up.
And Kuroko, regular, low profile, as normal as one can be Kuroko, goes about his life, expecting this little visits like luxuries he never takes for granted, enjoying the quiet of being alone when he is but appreciating everyone's efforts to keep close contact by making as much time on his day to day as his friends request. Even if it leaves him no time to pursue any kind of romantic relationship, what with all his friends demanding attention when he's out on dates or calling him when he's considering hanging out at a bar on Friday nights to see what happens.
He's content. Loves his friends, loves the kindergarten class he teaches, loves his pets (Nigou being the proud father of two adorable puppies). Loves his life. He doesn't need to think about messy things like romance- doesn't have time for it.
Until one morning, when he's watching over his class during recess, and he spots Kise on the other side of the playground fence, waving at him. Normal, except- Aomine is there too, out of nowhere, fly-kicking Kise to the ground, screaming something about... Cheating?
And - that's Midorima, white coat on disarray, chiding them both?
He wants to ask what prompted this surprise group reunion, but recess is over, and he figured if they are at his school, they'll wait until he's out, so he returns with his class.
Except, when he clocks out, theres even more people waiting by the curb. Murasakibara munching on something, but with his hair in a ponytail as he does whenever he's serious. Momoi crying, something about rivalry? Akashi is there too, spinning something shiny and sharp looking on his fingers, a clear threat to the cowering Kise and Aomine.
Kuroko is about to cross the street to ask them what's going on (happy, so happy to see everyone togheter like they rarely get the chance to be anymore) when a car swerves in, wheels screeching as it stops right between Kuroko and the generation of miracles.
The window rolls down. It's Kagami, screaming at Kuroko to get in. He can't even blink before the backseat door opens, and he's dragged into the car by- Ogiwara?!
The car speeds off the moment he's in, and he can hear the indignant screams of the Miracles behind them before they are too far to be heard.
"We will take you somewhere safe, don't worry" Shige promises.
Kuroko hasn't been this confused in his entire life.
"What's going on?" He demands. He sees Kagami wince in the review mirror.
Shige hugs him, cuddled in the backseat, and answers.
"As of today, gay marriage is officially legal in Japan."
...
...
...
Oh.
Oh.
"Hit the gas, Kagami-kun. Please."
"Roger that."

Reading Through Glass
Author's Note: Just a heads up for anyone who finds this fic based off the tags, but this is a tickle fic, so if it's not something you're interested in, then feel free to move on. I haven't written in a few months, but I'm happy to share this with people. Tagging @myreygn, @italeean, and @wertzunge because we need more knb content in this community. I hope you guys enjoy!
It doesn’t take a genius to know that something is off with Kise. He doesn’t hide his emotions or keeps silent about his feelings.
Defeat isn’t new to him anymore. The practice match against Seirin, the Inter-high quarterfinals against To-oh, the Winter Cup semi-finals against Seirin, and now the third-place game against Shutoku.
Losing to Shutoku shouldn’t have bothered him, but the emotions collecting in his chest feel like a pressure cooker on the verge of exploding. The thought causes a fresh set of tears to come to his eyes.
It’s just so frustrating.
In the past games, at least he could contribute to the team. This time he was powerless to help. And it was his fault. He let himself down, but more importantly, he let Kaijo down.
Kise wanted to win with Kasamatsu, Moriyama, Kobori, and Hayakawa. Was that so much to ask for?
Seirin had already beaten Rakuzan and was crowned the winner of the Winter Cup. Winning with the third years wasn’t feasible anymore. If only he could have had another chance. Maybe if he had let his injury heal instead of practicing through the pain against his coach and teammates’ advice, things would have been different.
He loves the game, and he loves playing with the team he has or rather, the team he had.
Kise had snuck away from the rest of Kaijo with the excuse of needing to talk to some fangirls he had promised to hang out with before they left to go home, earning him a couple of kicks to the face from Kasamatsu.
Almost everyone had left the stadium, but here he is, wallowing in his childish self-pity. He takes a deep breath and punches the wall in front of him, hard enough to feel the sting, but not enough to bruise the skin.
“Kise?”
He wonders how easy it is for Kuroko to slip away unnoticed.
“Kurokocchi,” Kise replies with the biggest smile he can muster, “What, uh, brings you here? Shouldn’t you be celebrating with the rest of Seirin?”
“Well…I saw you leave earlier,” Kuroko says, placing his bag on the ground and taking a step forward. His eyes flicker over to the open spot on the floor near Kise next as if asking him permission to sit down.
Kise only scoots over in response and continues staring at the line between the baseboard and the wall. He hears the faint squeak of Kuroko’s shoes on the floor as Kuroko sits down next to him.
“I know something’s bothering you,” Kuroko continues, “Talk to me?”
Kise doesn’t miss how Kuroko turns his statement into a question to give Kise the option of opening up. He sighs, saying, “And you said we weren’t best friends at Teiko.” He knows he can’t hide anything from Kuroko. The rest of the generation of miracles know it too. Kuroko can see through them like glass, reading how they feel and what’s on their minds. It was a blessing to them, but he supposes it’s now a curse. “You taught us so much, didn’t you?”
“I treated you like everyone else, but, yes, this was something I wanted you guys to understand.”
Kise figures that reading each other somewhat goes both ways since he already knew Kuroko’s answer to his comment, knowing Kuroko isn’t saying I told you so or trying to make fun of him. He finally feels his cheeks growing wet. “I guess that’s why you quit, huh? I get it now.” He’s full-on sobbing now, face turned towards the ground with his tears falling like raindrops on the ground. “Why does it hurt so much more now?”
“Because winning is more than a trophy or an expectation.”
Kuroko has always known what the rest of his team needs, and right now, Kise doesn’t need a shoulder to cry on or a warm hug. He only needs someone to sit with, who can help him figure out his emotions and knows the right things to say and do. And Kuroko is just the person he wants. He knows Kuroko will always be there for him. For his teammates.
For his friends.
“Can you breathe with me?” Kuroko asks.
Kise’s sure Kuroko can hear how loud his heart is beating. It’s pounding in his head, and he almost misses Kuroko’s question. He wants to listen, he really does, but his body isn’t cooperating. His breaths come out as shuddering gasps for air instead of the even breathing pattern Kuroko wants him to match.
They sit in silence for a few minutes, only the sounds of a ticking clock and their breathing echoing around the hallway. When he’s finally able to maintain the same rhythm as Kuroko, he feels better. Not good but better.
He lets the silence continue for a couple of seconds longer before saying, “Thanks.”
Kuroko doesn’t offer you’re welcome, or you owe me one because his presence means more than anything he could say.
“Can you tell me the color of the floor?” Kuroko asks when Kise’s breathing is even and less harsh.
“Blue,” Kise replies. He already knows the color of the ground after staring at it for so long; he could even see the faint dark blueish-green hue through his tears.
“What color is your uniform?”
“…Blue.” Well, dark blue to be exact.
“What’s the color of my hair?”
“Light blue,” Kise says with a chuckle.
Kuroko gives him a smile in return. “Do you feel better now?”
“Well…” Kise starts.
Kuroko points to his own cheeks with a grin that makes Kise want to turn his head, but he doesn’t dare break eye contact when Kuroko replies.
“Well?”
Kise feels his neck and ears heating up to match his face. “I-I might feel better if you did the thing.”
Oh? I’m not sure what you mean, Kuroko’s face seems to say.
“Don’t make me say this,” Kise mumbles, “The thing you used to do in middle school, remember?”
Kuroko smiles and sets his fingertips on Kise’s sides.
“Wait. Waahait,” Kise giggles, holding on to Kuroko’s wrists, half sliding down the wall.
Kneeling beside him, Kuroko raises an eyebrow and stops the slight curl of his fingers against his tracksuit.
Kise swears he’s trying not to stop Kuroko, because they both know how much he needs this, but right now, his body is refusing to listen to him. Even though he wants to give Kuroko permission to continue, he’s giggling too hard to get another word out.
“C-cold,” Kise mumbles as his back hits the floor.
Kuroko’s hands haven’t even started moving, but Kise feels laughter starting to bubble up through his throat. He can feel Kuroko’s eyes on him as if saying is this, okay? With a deep breath that ends with more giggles, he nods as fast as he can.
Kise likes to think that he has many types of laughter. Flirty yet coy laughter for his fangirls. Confident and cocky laughter for his opponents when they challenge him. Laughter and smiles to reassure people that he’s okay even if he’s not.
But this laughter is different. It’s carefree and full of genuine happiness and joy.
He can’t see Kuroko’s face, but he can imagine Kuroko’s facial expression based on the one picture Momoi took back at Teiko. The warmness in Kuroko’s eyes and the faint smile gracing his features as he looks down.
When Kuroko’s fingers graze the bottom of Kise’s ribs, he hears himself let out a loud cackle before dissolving into more bright laughter. The tickles on his sides have him curling into a ball, well, as much of a ball as he can manage without knocking himself in the chin with his knees.
Instead of focusing on his self-doubt and anxiety, he focuses on Kuroko’s short nails wiggling up and down his sides. They brush along the small of his back, making him lean into the touch and close his eyes at the pleasant sensations that zing up to his head.
Kise shrieks when Kuroko’s hands meet his stomach, spidering around and around until tears prick at the edge of his eyes. It tickles. It tickles. It tickles.
This time he pushes at Kuroko’s wrists.
Although his waist is still sensitive enough to send him into silent laughter, his stomach is so ticklish that it makes him want to shed from his skin like a snake. He wants to beg for the tickling to stop, but he can already feel the tension leaving his shoulders and neck, so he lets it continue until his vision goes blurry and his cheeks start to hurt from smiling so hard.
Ah.
Kise remembers this feeling. He loves the other members of the generation of miracles like brothers, but their tickle fights usually ended with them ganging up on one person until they cried. When he first joined first string and was still getting to know the others, he didn’t know how to talk to the other members beyond challenging them.
He would have liked to say that the others were welcoming and accepted him without question, but it just wasn’t the truth. Back then, even though their relationship had a rocky start, he had Kuroko by his side.
It would always start with a few words or a glance. A simple talk to me, is something on your mind, or a look that said more than words. Sometimes Kise would confess what was bothering him and sometimes they’d just sit, and Kuroko would offer his advice if Kise wanted it. However, Kuroko always seemed to know what Kise needed.
Sometimes it would end like this, Kise breathless from laughter with Kuroko sitting beside him with a kind smile.
As if on cue, Kuroko’s fingers stop moving, and Kise takes a few deep breaths to keep the residual giggles from escaping his lips.
“Thank you,” Kise mutters, accepting the help to sit up that Kuroko offers.
“Are you feeling better?” Kuroko asks, gesturing for Kise to turn around.
“Mhm.” Kise shivers when Kuroko’s fingers crawl from his stomach to his sides and up his back to his neck. With a sigh, he leans forward, arching his back, so it presses into Kuroko’s hands.
Giggles and short puffs of air follow Kuroko’s movements. Fluttering fingers around Kise’s left ear have him scrunching his shoulder and nose up at the sensation while circles that trace the curve of his spine make him giggle into his hands.
Or sometimes those moments from middle school would end like this, with Kuroko drawing shapes into his back until his body and brain turn to mush. It’s relaxing in a weird way.
Kuroko’s fingers move slower and slower until Kise’s breathing evens out, and his head feels like it’s touching the ground.
“Thank you Kurokocchi,” Kise says once more, still not looking at Kuroko.
“This isn’t the last time we’ll get to play together,” Kuroko replies with a voice that makes Kise want to believe him. “We aren’t going anywhere for a while.”
Kise wipes his eyes and smiles back in return. “I suppose you’re right.”
“This isn’t the end of anything, because we can always keep playing each other.”

Pairing: Kurapika Kurta X afab!Reader
Sypnosis: MC and Kurapika had been lovers ever since starting school. And for as serious and work-driven the blonde is, she didn't expect that he would show jealousy because of a certain someone.
Word Count: 1,105
Tumblr media
You hummed while walking towards the gymnasium, with a towel and bottle of water in your hand, you are eager to watch your childhood friend play basketball, even if it's just a practice. You stopped in front of the door and knocked. After waiting momentarily, the door opened, revealing a blonde captain.
"Hi, Taiga!" you beamed, flashing him a close-eyed smile.
"H-hi, [Name]. Looking for him?" he averted his gaze to hide his upcoming blush.
You nodded. He let you in.
As you walked into the gym, you saw the other basketball club member. The redhead narcissist, Laiko Enemoto; the blonde cutie, Rinto Suzuki; the redhead gentleman, Rion Kawasaki; and finally, your short-tempered childhood friend, Akihiko Inuzami. You always visit the boy during practice, to ensure that he won't cause chaos to his teammates. He has a twin sister named Akari, but unfortunately, she's studying at Seirin High while you and Akihiko attended Yorkshin High. After he and Akari parted schools, she entrusted you to watch him, knowing he is one troublesome brat. Now it is your responsibility to fulfill this task.
"Hey guys!" you greeted them and walked towards the court they were using.
"Hi [Name]-chan," Rinto smiled brightly at you.
"Hey, [Name]~" the redhead strides towards you.
"Greetings, [Surname]-san," Rion bowed down like a butler, you can't help but smile at his great personality.
'Reminds me of a certain someone.'
"Ah..... you've finally come [Nickname]," the arrogant bastard rubbed the back of his head with eyes closed, making his way towards you.
A tick mark appeared on your forehead as you gripped the towel and bottle that's in your hands, nearly squeezing the water out of its container.
'This guy—!'
"Well, since [Name] is now here, let's take a 10-minute break," the captain told them.
"Yes!"
The team went to the benches and rested for a while. You watched Akihiko while he drank his water, a smile plastered on your face as you rested your chin on the palm of your hand.
"What are you looking at?" his voice snapped you out of your trance.
"Huh? Oh, nothing..." You blinked a few times then removed your head from your hand.
"You're thinking about something, right?" his mischievous side appeared, a smirk plastered on his face. "Or maybe you're thinking about someone?"
"Don't be ridiculous! I'm just thinking about how you can find a girlfriend," you chuckled. He was poker-faced, his expression obviously told you 'what-the-hell?'
"Ah~ Akihiko won't probably find a girlfriend at this rate~" Laiko butted into your conversation.
"What did you say?!"
"He's probably right, knowing that Inuzami-san is very arrogant," Rion added while chuckling.
"Oi!" a tick appeared on his forehead.
Everyone burst into laughter.
Little did you know, a certain blonde passed by the gym. It's already 5 in the evening and his duty is to observe the clubs who are going after school practice. He glanced inside the gym and saw the basketball team having their break on the bench. But his focus wasn't on them. His gray eyes landed on a [h/l] [h/c]-haired girl smiling and laughing beside her childhood friend. Seeing them so close made a pang in his chest.
'Jealousy? Impossible.'
He thought that it is impossible for him to get jealous, after all, [Name] is his girlfriend and Akihiko is just her friend—nothing more, nothing less.
Tumblr media
But that's what he had thought. The days went by with you hanging out with the boy frequently, which made the blonde uneasy. He can't stop glancing in your direction and would see a happy [Name] and Akihiko. Whenever that happens, another pang he felt in his chest. He thought he could overcome it, but sadly, he couldn't.
"[Name]..." a familiar voice called, earning your attention. His voice was soft and hollow.
"Hm?" you turned around to face your blonde boyfriend. You are currently walking out of the gymnasium after the basketball team finished their practice during lunch. And by the side of the entrance stood the school council president, leaning on the wall.
"I-I... need to talk with you," he faced you with an unreadable expression plastered on his face.
You slightly frown because of his unusual behavior but complied with his request.
The two of you went to the rooftop and stood there still, no one dared to talk as the wind blew so harshly. After a few moments, he broke the silence.
"Do you like Akihiko?"
Your eyes widened at his unexpected question. He glanced down with a saddened expression on his face. It took you a minute before you realized what he meant by those words.
'Is he jealous of Akihiko?'
Unconsciously, you walked up to him and wrapped your arms around his torso. His eyes dilated in surprise at your sudden embrace.
"Baka~" you muttered teasingly, burying your head deeper in his chest. "Akihiko is just a childhood friend and you know that."
"I know, but recently, I always notice that you're close to him. It's like all the attention is on him." The male returned the hug, burying his head in the crook of your neck.
"Remember when Akiari and Akihiko are about to part ways?" You questioned. He nodded, remembering the time when he last saw the other twin. "She told me to keep an eye on the boy, and I promised her to prevent him from being so troublesome."
He nodded, understanding.
"Don't be jealous because of him, Kurapika," you raised your head and your [e/c] orbs met his gray ones. "You're the one I love."
"Yes, I know." Kurapika's expression softened. He then lifted your chin and leaned in, closing his eyes.
You also leaned up and closed your eyes. Your lips touched and sweetness bloomed. The passionate kiss lasted for a minute when the two of you parted for air. Kurapika's forehead touched yours and locked eyes with your [e/c] hues.
"I love you [Name]."
"I love you too, Kurapika~"

Hey Seirin, have you heard of Soul Redacted/The Great Noodle Jape? They’re both games that seem to take place in an au like this one, where the UT/UF/US/SF skelebros are all together, I believe due to some machine, and you play as a human who hangs out with them from time to time, and absolute chaos ensues in both games. I recommend playing them or watching a playthrough when you have the time, and I’m curious to know what you think of them, and if the events of either might be possible here.
I don't think I've ever heard of it, to be honest ( ˙▿˙ )
But judging by the description, it sounds a lot like Bonely hearts club, which I did play myself (it was a riot), and other multiverse fics I've been reading, even before creating TMS so yeah, big influence there.
I'll be sure to make a post about it if I ever watch a gameplay/play it on Twitch but that sounds like a lot of fun already, hehe.
