Personal HC that Carmen is very anxious whenever surrounded by people (probably trauma from her time on VILE Island), sometimes even her team but she hides it very well

So like it’s this point where she breaks and her anxiety is let loose, even in front of her team, and in her emotional state she accidentally say that, “People only see the bold, cunning side of me, they fail to see what, even WHO I am. They fail to see beyond what I am on the outside. Like, they’re unable to see that I’m struggling internally, and when they do, they’ll just sweep it aside, believing that I’ll get over it because I’m so ‘brave’ and don’t need help at all. They believe I’m perfect, but in reality, I’m just a pathetic, useless person who just needs someone to listen to me! I might as well have just stayed on VILE Island.” And she’s basically crying while saying it, the last sentence carrying a slight scoff.
