im stuck doing schoolwork and suffering, so i thought it would be funny to watch ALL hellraisers. I WASN’T READY FOR THE HELL WHICH I RAISED
i will do in detail movie review later, but to sum up,
hellraiser I, II and III are fine, but with the bloodline it takes one of the most fucking bizarre turn i have seen. OKAY BUT AT LEAST IT TRIES TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL STORY
i wasn’t ready when i started up hellraiser inferno. where the last one had something to do with original THE REST JUST KAJDFLKLAKDFJajdsfhfdsfhhjsfddhjsduhj>KjHJhLISDHFAEJHW(>T)(QRJIERHFJDHDJAhGHFADHUjk
like where as the first three and four are fantasy horror sci fi, THIS FUCKING MOVIE DECIDES THAT WE NEED A COP THRILLER
IT HAS ABSOLUTELY 0 CONNECTION WITH THE ORIGINAL STORY AND ONLY HAS PINHEAD SO PEOPLE CAN GO “OMG THAT’S THE GUY!!!!!!!! ::DDDDDDDDDDDDD”
hellseeker tries to kinda piggyback from last movie using the same effects, but it tries to add something from the original movies; kirsty
but like......................
SHE DOESN’T DO ANYTHING :sob:
SHE DOESN’T TALK ABOUT THE CENOBITES OR THE LAMENT CONFUGIRATIONS OR LABYRINTH SHE IS JUST THERE TO BE DEAD WIFE PROP - OR NOT EVEN THAT
THIS MOVIE IS LIKE 40% SOFTCORE PORN :sob:
what i find the most bizarre, is that doug bradley, the actor from the first movies still played pinhead in these later movies, even though they CLEARLY HAD NOTHING TO OFFER TO THE FRANCHISE PLUS THESE MOVIES HAVE ONLY CREDITS TO CLIVE BARKER AS “BASeD ON CHARACTERS CREATED BY CLIVE BARKER” AKA HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MOVIES
so why would doug bradley willingly participate in their creation????
AND THIS IS NOT ALL
THE CURRENT IM WATCHING NOW REVELATIONS HAS SOME OTHER ACTOR TRYING TO COPY WHAT DOUG BRADLEY DID AND WAS :sob: :sob: :Sob:
WHAT IS THIS PLEAS IM SOBBIN G TR RN????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
...this meme is for me and the weird outlets I have at work :|
I think a lot about what people think we do with their animals after they leave the clinic, and I wish I could assure them I treat their animal with the same respect I did my own.
Euthanasia appointments are so difficult and we aren't really prepared for them by school, in the sense that those appointments are more about dealing with the owners almost more than the animal.
Anyway I always think about this minor character in a Hellraiser sequel no one has seen when I try to explain why I talk to the animals on the way to the freezer.

A Special Tribute to the Hellraiser series.
This edit does have some blood and body horror please don't watch if your sensitive to that. This edit have some spoilers for The new Hellraiser film as well.
truly, truly awful. this is trying too hard to be actually good to be good trashy cinema. i thought Bloodline was the worst it would get but here comes this movie to prove me wrong. this takes the worst lessons from both the first four movies and Inferno. this is so engorged on its own self-importance that it forgets to make like, a good movie that's fun to watch or even interesting at all. just an amalgamation of some of the worst and most boring execution you have ever seen of ideas that had potential in the hands of much better artists. hell, so much of this we have already seen much better movies execute. why the fuck was this a Hellraiser movie? this is even less of a Hellraiser movie than any of the previous movies.
My ½★ review of Hellraiser: Hellseeker on Letterboxd
You asked for it. I deliver.

Pinhead with hair in film:
I think now the few Hellraiser fans left, who hadn't blocked me yet just did it.
This post is dedicated to @soap-lady - may you suffer beautifully. I'll see myself out.
If I had a coin for each time I watched a movie based on a story by Clive Barker where the main heroine strikes a deal with a sexy demon who uses hooks for killing in order to screw up her cheating husband named Trevor, I'd have two coins. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Hellseeker was an absolute clusterfuck of a movie, the writing was even harder to follow than Hellbound, following Trevor instead of Kirsty just wasn't very interesting and I still don't get the point-
- OH MY GOD HE WAS JEALOUS. PINHEAD WAS JEALOUS OF TREVOR AND MANIPULATED HIM TO GET THE BOX INTO KIRSTY'S HANDS. PINHEAD KNEW THAT KIRSTY WOULD OPEN IT. HE KNEW SHE WOULD STRIKE A DEAL. AND ALLOWING HER TO DO SO WOULD BRING HER SOUL CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE CORRUPTION OF DESIRE. ASDFGGHJJKKLL PINHEAD WAS STEWING IN ENVY THAT WAS LITERALLY WHAT WAS BEHIND THIS PLOT. JELLY LITTLE DEMON PRIEST PITCHED A HISSY FIT
Finally watching Hellraiser: Hellseeker and for this being a horror movie following Kirsty's shitty husband Trevor, I'm drowning in Kirsty/Pinhead feels.
Pinhead disguising himself as a homeless guy to make damn sure the Lament Configuration gets in Trevor's hands so he can give it to Kirsty and being so petty in his dialogue with Trevor is hilarious to me, okay. Hell Priest was jealous and pitched a hissy fit that Kirsty married this dude.
This whole movie is Pinhead and his Cenobite order screwing with Trevor's head in hell to punish him for being a POS husband to Kirsty and I love it. (Also Kirsty made a better deal, but shhh.) I mean, Trevor was planning on killing Kirsty on their fifth wedding anniversary and he was cheating on her with at least three other women, so....
Too bad for him he didn't know that Kirsty has a history with this puzzle box and her and the Hell Priest have a thing. 😈
It's kind of funny because Hellseeker doesn't really feel like an outright horror movie. It feels more like a psychological thriller with gothic horror elements.
Pinhead: *tells Trevor he will see Kirsty in time*
Trevor, demanding: Let see my wife!
Pinhead, forceful: I said, "In time"!
*chains immediately lash out and grab Trevor*
me: …Interesting. Hell Priest sounds jealous.
Also, Pinhead flat-out admitting Trevor was bait to get Kirsty, lmao.
The writers really had Pinhead tell Kirsty, "I will not stop until I get what I want. And what I want... is you." (The extended version of this scene was so good and I'm salty it was cut. I'm very new to the Hellraiser series and fandom but that lives rent-free in my brain now.)
Damn, Kirsty killed three of Trevor's lovers, his co-conspirator in Trevor's deal to kill her, and Trevor himself and framed Trevor for all the murders. I'm impressed. Good for her.
Detective Lange recovering the Lament Configuration from the wreckage, saying he was going to turn it in as evidence, and then giving it back to Kirsty when she reveals it was her anniversary gift.
Pinhead is definitely so proud that she gets to keep the box (as he planned). His favorite human, all grown up and killing people.
Hellseeker isn't good but I have to ask: Why wasn't Kirsty surprised to see that our lovely Hell Priest was alive? She only seemed surprised he found her but the last she saw he died as his human self.
Maybe she heard about the incident in New York or read about the Merchant Building.
I mean this in the most lighthearted way possible, but people have incredibly bad takes on Hellseeker online lol
Personally, I enjoy Trevor's suffering and I also enjoy how much blood there is on Kirsty's hand by the end of it. Let that girl be problematic for a second.
