Day 28: Love

As in it didn't end well.

Ooh, do you wanna know more details? Awfully messy of you!! Here is what I have thus far: Prudence and Hilda grew up together in the Brume. Prudence is one of the first to be won over by The Mongrel, eager to be a hound and prove herself. They are about the same age, making Prudence 21/22 during the events of Heavensward. Here, they are probably 17? 18? I'm not sure. Young'uns. Each other's first real relationship built off a foundation of hormones and anger. Like a lot of Prudence’s relationships, romantic and otherwise, it is a very up, down, up, down kind of thing.

During the assault and rescue attempt at the Vault, Prudence is injured, badly. It is her first brush with death and it scares her. It scares her a lot. The recovery process is a long one and while Hilda visits there is strain on their relationship. Prudence is angry at everyone, at the world, at Hilda. Hilda blames herself, having told Prudence to go with the Vault party.

When she’s finally free of her bed rest Prudence begins the process of leaving the Brume. Prudence doesn’t have friends but she does have favors and she cashes in on a few.  A new apartment in a modest but respectful neighborhood, several letters of recommendation for work, the equipment Stephanivien gifts her and the knowledge he’s shared.

But it’s not just leaving the brume. She is abandoning it and the dreams she built with Hilda. She is abandoning Hilda. This fight, their last, is still spoken of in hushed tones by the Hounds that remember it.

Chuuya never escapes from being governmemt property. actually i was thinking of a slight Evangelion/Rei Ayanami route where the japanese government used chuuya in an experiment to artificially create a Stray-human hybrid in order to fight the stray invasion.

But the experiments went completely south and chuuya turned out to be a REALLY volatile possesed kid because what the heck do expect when you fuse a child (who you lowkey kidnapped) to a destructive interdimensional being thats goal is make humanity dance like little bugs? You think your creation will listen to you?

Nope. So they decide to put him on freeze and make clones of him. The Chuuya that we meet for most of the story is clone A5158, but later we'll get to meet clone A5159 through unfortunate circumstances. At some point Dazai's going to break out the original

Anyways. The chuuya clone is let out to help Tsujimura and Ayatsuji on a mission that involves what may be a particularly dangerous pair of Strays. The two of them help Chuuya learn how to be human. Its the only wholesome thing about his life </3

OH BOY

It is always so funny how I love having excuses to talk about these guys, but the moment I am put on the spot I literally forget everything. I'll try and list a few for each.

Ed:

This isn't at all an uncommon head-canon for Ed, but I really do see him gravitating to creative careers. Things like filmmaking and cartooning. Hell, they already establish in the show that he kind of has a photographic memory in regards to penmanship, so he might even have an opportunity in graphic design. I don't really see him becoming fully professional since, realistically, it is a hard industry to have success in exclusively, and I think his struggles with things such as attention span and memory would also be significant obstacles. Creative stuff would definitely be best as a side gig or a very passionate hobby in combination with a more stable manual labor/construction work job.

Throughout the rest of middle school and high school, Ed continues to work for Rolf as a low-pressure farmhand. He especially likes working in the springtime when the baby chicks hatch :3

Ed gets really into dnd and ttrpgs. He regularly tries to drag Edd and Eddy into doing some campaigns, even though neither of them are that invested. They humor him though and play some, but they are incapable of ever finishing them because Edd and Eddy always end up arguing about something and Ed has trouble remembering what they did last.

Edd:

On top of having trichotillomania, he has tendencies for other body-focused repetitive behavior like dermatillomania, dermatophagia, and onychophagia.

Edd doesn't only have an ant farm, but he's dabbled in other kinds of insect/arachnid keeping. Mostly things he's found outside. He's kept caterpillars, ladybugs, spiders, and mantis. He always tends to release them once they've reached adulthood, but sometimes, his curiosity turns morbid. He absolutely takes too much advantage of his parents not being home to put whatever he wants in the freezer. He's probably also tried bug pinning. He is especially interested in the order Hymenoptera.

Starting in high school, he starts to take higher level courses, which means he doesn't have any classes with Ed and Eddy other than lunch and extracurriculars. He doesn't experience so many problems with the classes themself, but more so that he finds it extremely alienating and lonely. On top of intimidating and confidence-killing, since he starts to realize there are people out there who are way smarter than him.

Eddy:

Mostly bonded with his dad through movies, which is why his taste skews a bit more old-fashioned (granted, he was definitely enjoying those cowboy films for an entirely different reason than his dad was 💀). He's extremely impressionable. He probably bases his personality off of a different classic male lead every week. One day he's going for Humphrey Bogart, the other he's John Travolta. It keeps things interesting.

He has dyslexia. Good luck trying to tell him that, though. He'd rather die than admit that.

He's really good with kids, in a naturalistic "funny uncle" kind of way where you talk to them as if they are just little adults. That doesn't mean he's the best role model in any way. He's definitely sold pot to 14 year olds while in high school (Edd made sure he never heard the end of it).

- Has a lot of nightmares and general insomnia.

- Looooves baking. His favourite part is licking the utensils clean of batter.

- Most of his hobbies are very outdoorsy and sportsy ; he likes keeping busy as not to fall into any bad mental places.

- Has a nice singing voice but is actually shy about it when it’s serious ! So he mostly does it when he’s alone doing something else.

- Freckles everywhere.

- Is obsessed with Christmas.

- He’s the one who knows Eiríkur (Iceland) the most out of the Nordics - he will be the first to notice when something has upset him, recognises the little twitches in his expressions when he likes or dislikes something, etc.

- On that note, Danny is very good at reading the room, he’s very attentive !

- He’s more of an introvert than anything. He’s loud and sociable but that =/= extroversion. With a bunch of introverts he will definitely take on a more extroverted role, but when he surrounds himself of other extroverts, he falls into his more introverted nature.

- Cannot for the life of him stand temperatures colder than -10C. He is the least cold-resistant out of the Nordics so he generally hosts reunions during the winter.

- He’s 6’2.

- Will whither if someone sits next to him on a bus.

- The most traumatic death he’s experienced (and ever will) was deep in the sea, caused by the Kraken.

Mongolia is a 70% top and an all-time dom, and the kinks he’s personally into will take into account this preference of his. However, for the most part he doesn’t look like he would be an exclusive dom since these days he acts so casual and chill, to the point that people might think he would be okay with absolutely everything. In fact though, like everyone else he has things he wouldn’t ever touch; he is Very Big on exerting control upon himself and it’s by far the most important thing to him, so he doesn’t like any kind of kink that would put constrains on himself like sensory deprivation, choking, or tying on vital places/full immobilization. I liken him to the Mongolian horse and they’re semi-wild wild on the steppe even though they are loyal to their owners; these horses you don’t even put on stables, and they’re only caught when you have a specific use for them right at the moment like milking or riding. Choking, sensory deprivation and tying also look subby so he wouldn’t exactly be into them on that ground alone ahah. Anyway, with Mongolia exceptions may apply but it would need to be with someone he can fully trust and is comfortable around. Though again, in general he doesn’t. He exerts his boundaries firmly and would also put his partners’ into priority.

Regardless, it’s true that Mongolia is chill and he’s indeed okay with a lot of things! He’s experienced, experimented on and explored about everything so most things known and unknown are game as long as they’re fun for him and his partners. On top of being chill, he’s also really generous; would do everything his partners requested from him as long as it’s respectful of his boundaries, from vanilla to super kinky. He’s also not easily squicked out, because for him bedroom activities are messy and if they’re not messy then you’re not actually having fun, haha. All in all, he would endeavor to give his partners the best possible kind of experiences. This is also a challenge for him, and he never backs down from any of it!!

However, what Mongolia loves most is to exert an even greater control and influence over his partners, and that they would WANT and EXPECT that from him. Those are the times when he could unleash his ultimate (real) dom self compared to the casual and almost detached way he usually operates under (in a way, his discounted dom self). How would this translate into action? Basically, he would still just be his chill and generous dom self, but with more active directing and controlling from his part. Of course, it’s not only that he could be more controlling but that this attitude is actively desired by his partners. He loves being wanted the way he actually is!!

He also loves taking multiple partners at once. Not exactly a remnant of his Empire days, but he simply has enough energy and scope of attention to handle more than one at the same time. He also loves it when they would put on a show for him; the way it is, he would lounge around to watch them get busy while directing them, telling them what he wants them to do that they would find fun in as well. Fun for everyone is a priority for him because high on his list of boner killer is when one party is simply there tolerating things and isn’t actually in the mood. He can sense real desire and lust from his partners, so he knows well when it’s not there. When any partner of his really isn’t feeling it, he would call it off. Would he not try to bring them to mood or warm them up? He would, but he knows the difference between someone who’s taking a bit of time versus someone who’s totally NOT feeling it.

Anyway, certainly it’s not just watching and directing his partners getting busy like a conductor of an orchestra; he’s a proactive person, and he has the most fun when he can go right into the heart of things to share the fun. It’s like this:

Speaking about it, he’s not actually into bratty subs even though he might (jokingly) call his partners brats, ahah, but this isn’t his actual squick so he’s okay with roleplays involving bratty roles. If you want some good spanking he’s the man for you.

Similarly, just because he fell from grace doesn’t mean he would became more of a sub today as what some nations might think. If anything, he just became a calmer and more mature dom as he got older. He has newfound appreciations for lots of things today, but his principal tastes have never deviated much from their basic core. Ok Last of Us and House MD crossover

I am having both the last of us brainrot and my usual house brainrot. So I am combining the two. Thanks for @sinclarsupremacy for helping me and listening to me ramble. I love you bro. Anyways this is going to be long but here we go:

Cuddy: head of the infection department that knew the infection was turning people. Hired House due to his board certification of infectious diseases. Main weapon is hunting rifle and maybe a few knives. She hooks up with Lucas who is a informant for the Fireflies and the military. Breaks up with him when he betrays her to the military. Her main group is with House and Wilson joins them after Amber dies. 

House: Leading the team to help understand how the infection is happening and hopefully to stop the spread. He and the rest of the team escaped but they got split up. It was House and Wilson at first but then he ran off with Amber. House finds Cuddy and teams up with her even though they bicker 24/7. No infarction until five years into the infection. He is somewhat grateful that Cuddy was able to cut out the dead muscle without giving him lockjaw or something. No Vicodin cause it is a pandemic so he is cranky. Can’t run due to leg but is good at close quarter combat. His main weapon is pistols. He has about five of them. Once he gets a flamethrower it is over for everyone lol. His cane is also his main weapon of choice. Hates clickers the most. 

Wilson: worked at the hospital where House and the rest of the team were working. Managed to get out and teamed up with his Amber who is his assistant. They managed to survive for a couple years but Amber gets bit by a clicker when she goes into a building looking for food. Wilson finds her and sees her start to turn. He cries the whole time when she asks him to kill her before she fully turns. After that, goes on his own just looking for anyone he knows. He finds House and Cuddy after they get a herd of the infected thrown at them while they were both trying to find a Firefly camp. Wilson had met both of them before the pandemic hit but really grows close to them when they finish off the herd. He and House fall in love but they still bicker and do prank wars. His main weapons are handguns and is good with explosives. Very creative with them

Cameron: was part of House’s team that was there when the infection broke out. Managed to get separated from House and Cuddy but now is in a group (and relationship) with both Chase and Foreman. They become hunters for a little bit using Cameron as bait because of her nice demeanor. They get tired of the senseless killing and heads off to find another safe zone. Is a fast runner and ok in close combat. She much prefers to set bombs like Wilson but is more basic with them. She and Foreman are the cooks because they know Chase cannot cook for shit. Her main weapons besides the bombs are a crossbow and tranquilizers she finds when looking for supplies. 

Foreman: was part of House’s team that was there when the infection broke out. Managed to get separated from House and Cuddy but now is in a group (and relationship) with both Chase and Cameron. The most stylish of the group no suits cause zombies but he has some nice flannels and keeps himself really clean. Took archery lessons as a kid so his main weapon of choice is a bow. He can throw a good punch so he also has a pair of brass knuckles for close combat. Complains everytime he gets blood and guts on his outfit. He carries most of the team’s shit cause he is the strongest. 

Chase: was part of House’s team that was there when the infection broke out. Managed to get separated from House and Cuddy but now is in a group (and relationship) with both Foreman and Cameron. Used to complain like Foreman when he got blood and guts on him but now doesn’t give a shit. His clothes are still randomly put together but he doesn’t care, it is just clothes. Is banned from cooking after he nearly poisoned Foreman. Is the planner of the group, likes to have a few backup plans in a pinch. Doesn’t trust anyone new he meets. His main weapon is a machete and a stolen assault rifle. 

13: 100% another hunter. She cares deep down but she is also trying to survive. She doesn’t know if her Huntington’s or this infection will kill her first. Dresses a lot in flannels and her hair is always tied back. Her main weapon is a shotgun and some knives. Will out arm wrestle you. House is like a father to her somehow so she is trying to find him.

Adams and Masters: were of of the firsts to die from the team. They were both sent to study how the infection spread but they really did find out. Adams dies to spore inhalation and Masters gets bit. They both turn but House finds them after not hearing from them and kills them. His first kill during the pandemic. 

Kutner: got out alive by the seat of his pants. He joined the military just to have some sense of safety and was recruited to be a sniper for them. Is a pretty good shot but unfortunately he gets distracted easily. Ends up being killed due to the fact he never checks the places he goes into for sniping so an infected got him. 

Park: also joined the military but regrets it. She is great in close combat but is a terrible shot. Ends up leaving and teaming up with Taub to go join the Fireflies. Always checks the places they stay at, she is paranoid about getting bit. She was part of House’s team that was there when the infection broke out. Her main weapons are a baseball bat or an axe.

Taub: is on the hunt for a cure. Is determined to find it and doesn’t like to kill people if he doesn’t have to. Is a decent shot but prefers to use his self defense classes to hold his own. He was also on House’s team even they both didn’t like the other. The second best most dressed for the infection but is way more dramatic if he gets blood or guts on himself. Will literally walk out in anger and disgust that he has to change. 

Lucas: is a double informant for both the Fireflies and the military. Used to hook up with Cuddy but she dumps him due to him turning her in to the military due to the fact that Cuddy and House killed a bunch of military during a raid for supplies. Uses a sniper and also some traps but eventually disappears off the face of the earth. No one knows where he is now. 

Volger: gets bit and turned. Before getting bit, he was sponsoring the team to find a cure. But he backs out due to the fact that House exists. Gets turned into a bloater. 

Tritter: joins the military first chance he gets. Hates House in particular due to the fact that he thinks House was the one to let the infection spread in the first place. He tries to hunt House down at every chance he gets. Is trigger happy and also loves to hunt the hunters. Eventually goes insane with bloodlust and House kills him in a fight. 

Stacy: was in a relationship with House before the infection started. They were serious about each other but being separated and having fights right before the pandemic led to them breaking up. She eventually becomes one of the leaders of the Fireflies and runs a camp near New Jersey. She eventually meets her husband Mark during a raid. They are inseparable and Mark is her second in command.
