You’ve had a rough, rough week, school has been wearing you out with stressful tests, you’ve been working extra time at your job, you’ve barely been able to see your boyfriend, Eddie, and you just really, desperately needed a break. You walk into your Eddie’s trailer, he isn’t gonna be home for atleast an hour, since he’s still working at the body shop, so you decide to do some studying before he gets home.

An hour in a half later, Eddie comes home and as he walks in he sees you on the couch leaning over with your hair all messed up, he smiles softly. Your eyes don’t leave the paper you're writing on as Eddie walks in until he says something, “Hey, pretty baby”, your eyes look up at Eddie and you smile weakly, “Hi…”, Eddie immediately notices something is up. He takes his jacket off and hangs it up before sitting next to you and kisses your head, “Watcha doing?”, he asks, you sigh, “School stuff…”, he nods and as he caresses your cheek he moves your face to look at him, “You alright?”, you nod and fake smile, “I’m okay, don’t worry”, you kiss the palm of his hand that's holding your face which makes Eddie smile and blush a little bit, he stands up and kisses the top of your head before walking to the bathroom, “I’m taking a shower, I’ll be quick”, you go back to your work and as your working you start to drift off.

Eddie gets out of the shower and walks out into the living room in some gray sweats, and wet disheveled hair, he sees you asleep on the couch and laughs softly to himself, he decides to carry you to the bed and covers you up, kissing your head before going to the store to grab a few things when he gets back he goes to the kitchen to make dinner.

You wake up a little while later and you smell something cooking, you get up and look in the kitchen and see Eddie cooking, a smile spreads across your face, you look into the living room and see the living room is all tidy, and Judas Priest is playing on a low volume. You walk up behind Eddie and wrap your arms around his waist, resting your head on his bare back, a warm smile creeps up on Eddie's face, “Hey baby, good nap?”, he says rubbing your arm that's on his stomach, as he stirs the chili. You nod, “Mhm” you hum still clearly trying to wake up from the sleep you definitely needed. He turns around and holds you close and kisses your forehead, “Dinners almost done”, you smile and look up at him, “Thank you”, you press a soft kiss to his chin feeling the stubble on your lips, “Anything for you, babe”, he says smiling, you go sit down at the table and talk to Eddie about his day at work.

After he finishes making dinner, he makes two bowls, one for you, one for him, and he gets you a pop out of the fridge. As your eating, he’s holding one of your hands and rubbing it back and forth with his thumb, “So…how was your day, sweets?”, you scoff and shake your head, “Fucking. Horrible.”, he pouts, “What happened?”, you sigh, “I just have been doing so much this week, schools stressing me out, works kicking my ass, I’m just…tired”, he looks at you with an empathetic look on his face, “I’m sorry, baby…Is there anything I can do? Y’know to take some stress off of you”, you smile at his thoughtful words, “It’s okay…Thanks though”, Eddie gives you a weak smile and kisses your hand.

After you guys eat you and Eddie are watching a random tv show that was on and Eddie is running his hands through your hair until he gets up, “I’ll be right back” he says placing a sweet kiss on your lips before going into the bathroom, after a few seconds you hear the bath running, you go into the hallway and start walking to the bathroom to see what Eddie was doing, but before you get to the bathroom, Eddie opens the door with a huge smile plastered on his face, “Hey baby”, you say confused, Eddie grabs your hand, “I did something for you…thought it might relax you a little bit”, you smile and Eddie opens the bathroom and you see the bathroom is lit with dim candles and the tub his filled with bubbles, your smile grows and you turn around to face Eddie and you wrap your arms around his neck and hug him, “I love you”, you say softly, he smiles and holds you closer, kissing your temple, “I love you too, angel”.

You're in the tub relaxing when Eddie knocks on the door, “Baby, can I come in?”, “Yep!”, you yell back. Eddie walks in with a grocery bag and says, “Um…I got you this too, its like a watermelon- no strawberry! A strawberry facemask alsooo, I got you some chocolates anddd, this robe…I hope you like it.”, you smile and blush, “Thank you, I definitely like it…you didn’t have to do all of this”, he smirks and shrugs, “I wanted to”, you motion for him to kiss you, he leans down and press a sweet kiss to you lips, “Want me to wash your hair?” he asks, you look in his pretty brown eyes and nod, “Please”, he kisses your head before getting on his knees and starting you massage your scalp with shampoo, he kisses your cheek, “Your hair is so soft”, he says smoothly, you kiss his cheek back, “Thank you…and thank you for doing all of this”, he smiles, “You’re my special, beautiful, sweet girl…you deserve it”, he says between soft kisses on your face, you giggle and you admire his features as he continues to wash your hair, after he washes all the soap out of your hair he places a kiss on your shoulder, “How you feelin’, baby?” he asks looking in your eyes and caressing your face, with a smile on your face you nod, “So much better…Your so sweet doing all this for me”, he blushes slightly, “Only sweet for you” he says laughing, you giggle and kiss his lips.

After you get out you dry off, put your new robe on top of your undergarments. After you get dressed, Eddie comes back, “Can I brush your hair?” he asks sweetly, you smile, “You sure, baby?”, he smiles and nods while grabbing a brush, “I like taking care of you”, he says before kissing your temple, he starts brushing your hair, gently so he doesn’t hurt your head, and as he’s brushing your hair you are putting on the sheet facemask he had bought you, and accidentally he bought a 2 pack and so you have an idea, after Eddie finished your hair he laughs softly and how goofy you look with the mask, “So weird”, you laugh, “Wanna be weird with me…there's twoooo”, he smiles and rolls his eyes jokingly, “Ughhh fineee”, you giggle and starts putting the facemask on him, “It feels weird…but it’s kinda nice”, you smile and kiss his lips.

After 15 minutes you guys take off the masks and Eddie feels his face, “Ooo, it’s softer, feel”, he says grabbing your hands and putting your hands on his face, “Mhm…very soft”, you say giggling, he smiles and kisses your lips before pulling you in for a hug, “I hope I made you feel…somewhat better”, you smile, “I’m definitely better…thank you”, you say sweetly, Eddie sways you in his arms gently side to side, “You deserve it” he says chastely pressing a kiss to your forehead, “Wanna get in bed, sweet thing?” he ask, you nod yawning, he laughs softly and leads you to bed.

After you and Eddie get in bed, he gently rubs your back, and keeps giving you sweet, soft kisses on your face and body, “You’re so beautiful” he says with tired eyes, you smile warmly, “You are”, he giggles, “We should do this more”, you nod, “We should” you agree, “Doesn’t this have a name it’sss” he says trying to think, “Self care?” you ask smiling, he nods “Yeah, self care…we should do it more”, you nod grinning ear to ear, “Lets do it…”, he snuggles you closer to him, “We will…next Sunday we’ll do it”, you look at him with his eyes closed and you kiss his face which maes him open his eyes, he smiles looking in your eyes, “I love you Eddie”, he kisses your lips one last time, “I love you too, sweets”, you smile, you and Eddie both close your eyes, and fall asleep, peacefully in eachothers arms.
