They get take out almost a week after Valentine’s Day, and eat it on Crowley’s couch, with Aziraphale’s feet propped up on Crowley’s lap. His new shoes help a great deal, but he’s been pulling extra shifts now that Newt’s girlfriend is expecting, and Crowley, sweetheart that he is, has made it his personal duty to rub his feet after they eat.
He sets his plate aside, and starts tending to the arch where it hurts the most. Aziraphale leans back, the freshly framed picture of Noodle, and Hisstopher sunning in his enclosure the last things he sees, before he closes his eyes, and gives into the foot massage.
Crowley is humming something. Probably either Queen or Velvet underground. Aziraphale has learned that he listens to nothing else, and he still can’t tell them apart.
“Thank you Angel.” Crowley murmurs.
“You’re the one tending to me dear,” Aziraphale teases softly.
“No. For… when I was disowned and I was sleeping in the Bentley, this is what kept me going. Wanting something like this.”

Konan: Hidan, Deidara? Did you go out and pick up some scary decorations for our haunted house like I asked?
Hidan: We sure did, beautiful! We got some fuckin’ plastic spiders, and hanging skeletons, some cobwebs —
Deidara, mumbling: A snake …
Konan: Wait, what??
Deidara: Okay so before you get mad …
Konan: oh god
Hidan: This pet store next to the Halloween store was having a sale on snakes! So me and blondie got a nice boa constrictor! *brings a huge black snake out of a container* See?! Imagine how fuckin’ scary this badass will look crawlin’ around the haunted house!
Konan, up on the counter: For God’s sake, take that thing back!!
Deidara: But Hisstopher —
Hidan: Not Hisstopher; we agreed on William Snakespear, dumbass!
Konan: WHATEVER the name is, take it back! Now!!
Deidara, sighing and collecting the snake: Fine, hm. We did find another snake, though; it’s a bit bigger but seems a lot more tame. It’s white and it talks and it’s scary as hell!
Konan: It talks?? What do you —
Konan: *looks out the window to see Orochimaru talking with Zetsu*
Konan:
Konan: … okay Julius Squeezer can stay but THAT *points outside* needs to GO.

Seeing Snakes
A Gorgon!Graham AU
------🐍------
'I think you should turn right here.'
'No! Turn left!'
'We're going to bump into that plant!'
'Food? Where's the food?''
'I'm going to bite you all!'
Graham grabbed one of the snakes – Hisstopher, the angry one – and that got the rest of them to quiet down.
"You all are worse than a talking map," Graham muttered.
They all gave their apologies, 'Just trying to help…' 'Sssorry.'
Graham let go of Hisstopher, who immediately nipped at Graham's nose. 'No grab!' Hisstopher huffed. Graham rubbed Hisstopher's head, and that was just enough to calm him.
Graham leaned on a wall. After coming back from such a perilous undercover mission – a mission involving a desert prison run by greed-filled gorgons – Graham's gorgon disguise had grown on him. Quite literally, in fact, as that merchant's potion kept progressing until Graham could make eye contact with a bird and turn it to stone.
Following that mortifying experience, Graham couldn't bear looking at anyone. He wrapped bandages around his eyes, and moved purely off of other senses alone.
Other senses… and his snakes.
"Now, why don't you all coordinate and tell me what's in this hall?" Graham said, "I think I can figure out where to go next."
'There's a lovely plant pot in front of you.' Addy mentioned.
Ssteward added, 'Yes, I advise you to take a few steps away.'
Graham steps back a few paces. "Okay, what else?"
'Doors! I see lots!' Lima Bean rubs Graham's face.
'Doors and the sound of metal! An enemy?' Sir Pent flicks his tongue in the air.
Graham listens to the sound of metal clanging and something sizzling. "I don't think that's an enemy. I think that's…"
Gorgonzola gasps, 'Food?'
"Yeah, I think it's the kitchen," Graham chuckles, "We can go in if you all would like?"
They all nod and hiss in approval, so Graham follows the sizzling sound to the bustling kitchen. It's probably lunchtime by now, and the cooks are cooking up a storm. Graham tries his best to slip by unnoticed.
He hands them their preferred foods – eggs, sardines, cheese for Gorgonzola – except for Hisstopher, who refuses to eat anything else but a rat.
"You're going to go hungry, Hisstopher." Graham scolds.
Hisstopher slinks away behind Graham's ear.
The eyepatch snake, Patchy, tugs at Graham like a dog on a leash. 'Guards!'
"Hallo, Graham!" Larry greets. Kyle greets as well, "Hi!"
Graham's snakes happily flick their tongues. Graham bounces on the balls of his feet. "Hey there! What are you two doing here?"
Kyle exclaims, "We noticed you were here!"
"And we wanted to tell you about the party!" Larry adds.
'Party?' Addy leans forward.
"Huh, I didn't know there was a party." Graham hums.
Larry singsongs, "It's a dinner party!"
"And it's tonight!" Kyle chimes.
"Did no one tell you?"
"Ah, no, nobody told me…" Graham scratches his snakes under the chin. He mutters to them, "Would you all want to attend?"
'Maybe!' 'I love meeting new people!' 'Is there going to be food?' 'As long as it's not too loud.'
Graham giggles, "Yeah, they want to attend. However, I'm not sure I will." He rubs his wrists, "I don't know if I want to risk any incidents."
'It's worth it for the food!' Gorgonzola tugs at Graham.
"Besides, I might cause people to panic, or attack, or something worse." Graham tenses up.
Kyle gasps, "Well then, we'll tell people you've got a few scales and snakes when you want to come in!"
Larry pats one of Graham's snakes on the head. "They're cute, I think guests will love them."
Graham shrugs. One of the smaller snakes, Lima Bean, nudges Graham, saying, 'Just know we can leave any time. You haven't talked with people since you got back.'
A bit more confident and motivated, Graham nods. "Alright, I'll be coming."
Larry chuckles, "Great! Oh, by the way-"
"Bring your most stylish eyewear!" Kyle finishes Larry's sentence.
"It's a masquerade dinner party!"
The two march out of the kitchen. "See you there!"
