Subclasseptember Day 7: Fey
The College of Jest - Homebrew Bard Subclass
When I made the Subclasseptember list for this year (with permission from @nite0304, who made last year's), I wanted to ensure that each entry had multiple potential avenues to explore. For instance, Fey here can refer to fairies, as it is often used in D&D - but it can also refer to more general childness, a happy disposition, or the Scottish definition of "at the point of death."
From everyone else's expressions, it's clear that the Jester here has just told an incredible joke.

Oath of the Spiral: Paladin
Tumblr media
The indomitable human spirit is a profound concept I've loved since I first watched Gurren Lagann many... many... years ago. So this is an oldy, but a goldy.

Apothecary - 5E Homebrew Background
Apply your knowledge of medicine and nature to heal friends, identify wounds and diseases, and determine the medicinal or harmful properties of natural objects. Can also be used to represent  foragers, herbalists, doctors, botanists, or any characters who practice medicine.
My first homebrew background! Although I quite like the Hermit background, I’ve always felt the herbalism kit proficiency attached to it felt a bit out-of-place. To remedy this, I created a background more focused on herbalism and healing, for all those characters (and players) who really like brewing healing potions and knowing more about plants than the resident druid.

Y'all if you're trying to create something more book-like on homebrewery for your campaign I highly recommend using this from Reddit
I'm gonna start using it for all my lore notes and books ❤️

Wild Magic Sorcerer
Hello everyone! I have quite a few more followers since the release of the Markweaver 2.0 which gathered a good deal of attention! I wanted to thank you all for following me, and I wanted to extend the invitation for people to send me homebrew requests or ideas that I can turn into full fledged things! I find it far easier to work for other people than myself. All that said - Here is my version of the wild magic sorcerer subclass, changed quite a bit from the base version to make it more risk/reward and hopefully quite a bit more exciting than the baseline version.

I really love my homebrew campaign, I wonder if I could re-set-up the patreon for it. Maybe I could make regular homebrew content for people to use! Weapons or spells and maybe occasionally a race or a class, maybe class archetypes. I think that could be fun, but i have no idea if we have any kind of audience for that sort of stuff.

The Oath of the Horizon is a flavorful option for a paladin who values the open road and meeting new people. Protect your party, open new paths, and keep travellers safe! Available alongside two other subclasses on DMsGuild!

You better watch out.
You better watch out.
You better watch out.
You better watch out.
Santa Claus is coming... to town.
Adventures are a bit outside of my usual fare. But that won't stop me from releasing this when the time is right.
Threw a weaker version of this at my party. When they were level 3, expressly for the purposes of killing them at the end of a Christmas oneshot.
With the power of a nat 20 death save and some very lucky rolls, they somehow managed to pull through.
So, naturally, I buffed him and threw Sword Saint Nick at them again about 10 levels later this year. A more cathartic victory they have never had.

Here it is; everything I've ever made for DnD 5e
106 new subclasses from Artificer to Wizard.
10 New classes: Battle Chef, Dragon Knight, Elementalist, Gunslinger, Hollowed, Mythic Guardian, Occultist, Tamer, Wildheart, and Witch. Each with 3+ subclasses.
70+ new spells.
Variant class features, equipment, and feats.

I'm still technically cleaning up some of the classes, though they are still playable. If you see the classic background that's the giveaway.

Hello -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's still very much a work-in-progress, but I think that the Rot in the Dark One-Shot that I've been using to figure out how The Homebrewery works is finally good enough that I'm not totally embarrassed to post it.
Hopefully going to playtest this in the next few days and then adjust it again. But for now it's ok-ish. There's a lack of credit where it's due and images (or both). But if you like to look over this kind of thing please feel free to give it a gander.

Soothsayer - 5E Homebrew Background
Practice divination as a fortune-teller...or pretend to for coin! Peering into the future, consult the divine for answers, and put those tarot cards to use. Can also represent oracles, clairvoyants, prophets, charlatans, or any characters who read (or pretend to read) the future.
My second homebrew background! I’ll admit, I made this background so that I could play a fortune-teller and practice very minor divination without having to commit to a divination subclass. It was very fun researching all the different methods of divining for ‘Divination Method’ - it gave me all sorts of character ideas, and hopefully, it will for you too.
