Hi, can you write about Hank Pym x six-year-old granddaughter Y/N.
Hank: pass me the 3/8th wrench
Y/n passes the 5/8ths wrench...
Hank: sweetheart I asked for the 3/8th
Y/N: i think the 5/8th will work better, grandpa
Hank tries it out, perfect. Hank smiles proudly...
Hank: you're definitely your mother's daughter.
Scott: she's my daughter too, Hank
Hank: don't remind me, Scott

various fairfaxes and a drawing from my english civil wars hiking au which i never posted :-) [id under cut]
[image description:
the first image is a digital drawing of a group of men on a light brown background. they are all wearing hiking-appropriate clothing. from left to right: a young man swinging from a tree; arrows pointing at him read ‘weirdly passionate about hiking’ and ‘like 15′. a man leaning against a tree; arrows read ‘grumpy’ and ‘only here for family bonding with father-in-law’. a man with a cane and one arm in a sling, leaning over to read a map; arrows read ‘has injured himself on every hike so far’ and ‘designated driver’. a man reading a map with a serious expression; arrows read ‘annoyed about everything except hiking and sometimes also hiking’ and ‘only one who can read a map’. a man with his hands on his hips looking at the viewer; arrows read ‘arranges hikes and then doesn’t go on them’ and ‘good at arguing’.
the second image is a collection of four digital drawings of thomas fairfax, a man with long dark hair, a moustache, and a beard. he is wearing seventeenth-century clothing. one is a full-body coloured drawing of him sitting in a chair facing away from the viewer with his legs folded and his hat on his knee. the other three are uncoloured: two are headshots of him as a young man and an older man, and the third shows him sitting at a table reading a piece of paper with an expression of concentration.
the third image is a coloured digital portrait of thomas fairfax as an older man. he is clean-shaven and has long dark hair and a scar across his cheek. he is wearing a dark doublet and a large white falling band, and is looking to the left of the image with a serious expression.
end image description.]
#artwork#fairfax#and others! theres a bunch of blokes in the hiking one#basically the concept is it's the english civil wars but instead of having a civil war they are rival hiking groups. and they compete with#each other over hiking trails and such. i never drew the royalist group but i was imagining them to be the Official hiking club and the#parliamentarian one started because there was drama in the royalist club so they started their own#and now theres drama between both of them. hiking drama.#ANYWAY thats from last year i cant remember why i never posted it but here it is now :-)#the other ones are much newer (for the most part) i did the coloured sitting fax yesterday#the last one is based on a portrait i came across recently which may or may not depict fairfax in 1664 (the identification is questionable)#and i still havent made my mind up whether or not i think it could be him or not but i was So excited about finding such a late portrait#i knew i had to draw at least something inspired by it. i cant even tell you how i excited i was i almost exploded#for context the latest portrait we have otherwise is from 1650 so if it is actually him it is a Very Big Deal#but i dont think we will ever know because the identification has been rejected by the metropolitan museum of art :-/ alas#of course it could be raised again in the future but i dont know if anyone would care enough to do that. i would obviously. but otherwise#oh for the first one from left to right it's lambert ireton fairfax cromwell pym#i dont know if the writing will be legible given how much tumblr crunches images but We Will See#i hope you are all doing well my dear friends :-) it has been so nice to get around to answering messages today i have missed you terribly#edited to add image descriptions! sorry i didnt do that earlier my apologies

Nadia means Hope..... Did the MCU make Hope Van Dyne from Nadia? Please say it's a coincidence and not the MCU doing MCU stuff again?

For Old!Hank: You get an emergency call saying that Hope is in the hospital. It turns out, physically, she's completely fine. But when she sees you, she has no idea who are you. As a matter of fact, she thinks you're a scientist who has come to experiment on her. What do you do?
Tumblr media
This...is an EVIL ask anon.
I don't even want to THINK about anything happening to Hope. Especially not something like this.
But if you really want to know, then I'd give her space. I wouldn't want to stress and scare her more than she probably already would be. Then I'd talk with every doctor I could to see what could be done to help her.
But again, I don't even want to imagine this happening.

I'm still confused about Verna.. I thought she was a demon?? Because why would Death be going around making a bunch of deals with people? After Verna told Pym she decided to go "topside" I thought she was some kind of crossroads demon since it implies she came from below (hell)
Oh! I feel you, and I struggled with that a lot too. She does seem a lot like a demon. I'm not saying I'm 100% correct in my thinking either, but here's why I personally think she's Death. Kind of a long post, sorry. I hope I make myself clear, but feel free to follow up!
So, Verna. An anagram for Raven, that much is established. Ravens are wonderful - symmetrical even - creatures. Bringers of death in a wide understanding. Bringers of good luck in many cultures. The duality is amazing. To me, that also leans majorly into the theme of death being a concept of duality: an enemy for some, a friend for others. Each greets her differently. I'm not talking about the characters here, but people in general.
There's a proverb I came across a while ago that reads 'Death is a great leveller'. Meaning, everyone's equal before her. You have no leverage or buffer against death, and it doesn't matter if you're poor or blindly, feverishly, grotesquely rich (like our folks here). Everyone pays the last bill. For everyone, there's a day of reckoning. It's a major theme with the show, at least. Verna also says 'Buy now, pay the bill later' - although it can still read very demonic, I agree.
She's obviously ancient, and I was leaning toward the demon theory based on all of her talking. Yet - she also keeps ranting about Egypt and pyramids and Cleopatras and such. What's the one thing with Egyptians everyone knows of? They honored death. Death may have been a bigger part of their lives than life itself. The Usher Twins' obssession with all things Egyptian, antiquities, jewelry, swords and such, plays a nice parallel here too, because they're just collectors. They have no grain of honor for the real thing, for what these things are tied to. Kind of a nice thought, I guess.
Anyway, back to Verna. She says on multiple occasions how intrigued she is with us, 'adorable little things'. She saw the pyramids, the expeditions, and she wanted to see what else we do, she wanted to see what Roderick and Madeline will do (in her own words). It's all an experiment to her. She makes an offer just to see what we, people, do.
Here's where my beef with a demon theory comes in. No demonic creature I could think of, be it an actual demon, a trickster, or something else, is that sincerely intrigued. Something something death loving life something something.
Demons, in my understanding, are most interested in winning the deal. They come up with incredible challenges, they enjoy torture, emotional or physical, they never let anyone win. Verna has never once expressed this. Quite the opposite. She gives everyone a chance to step back. Even when the ink has dried and everything's decided, each Usher sibling is conditioned to make a choice: push forward, or step back. Neither of them steps back. Neither of them takes a long hard look at themselves (except Tamerlane, both literally haha and figuratively, as she's the only one to have realized how lost she was in her way - just at the end, when it didn't really matter anymore, but still). Verna is kind to those she takes (sincere pet names, regrets of having to do it this way, making sure they know it's not personal, etc). She grieves with them, just before. Grieving - 'The Raven' being about an expression of grief and trauma - ravens as synonyms for death... you get the gist. Oh! Except Freddie - cause Freddie struck a cord. Infuriated her. So he doesn't get an expressed choice. And he would've blown it like coke anyway, so meh.
And then Arthur Pym. Oh, Arthur Pym. I honestly couldn't imagine a demon kneeling and thanking someone who's refused them.
About Arthur Pym, by the way. It's the one story I hadn't reread, and I should have, it turns out! haha Anyway, a few notes about his travels:
In the story, Arthur Pym is expressedly afraid of white color (North Pole, yada yada, white being the absense of colors/life, and the absense of life is death).
Verna enumerates the moments she witnessed of his travels. Someone getting left in Sahara. Someone getting shot in the Arctic. Something bad that was done to an Inuit woman. Why would she follow Arthur so closely? She didn't know him, he wasn't her favorite. I think it's because she came to collect those deaths. If she is death, she would've been exactly there, where people died. She would have also seen Arthur not partaking.
Aaaaaaaand it makes her 'You saw me' line sound better, because he had sure seen death along his travels.
I think the part about a place of out-of-time, out-of-space creatures and hollow Earth was a bit unnecessary, BUT I can try and tie it in this way:
It showed us how Arthur might have coped with what he saw, and he 'saw a lot', even in his 70s it's difficult for him to recall, and it made him think of humanity as a virus, literally;
He might have thought up that ethereal realm simply because he was in an expedition? Exhaustive conditions for both body and spirit? Traumatic experiences? If he saw Death, he might have cloaked it in his mind to cope with it, thus came his stories;
Verna going 'topside' may just mean that she had to go take a look herself, actually be willingly present for the events - to see the brave little humans conquer the earth. 'Topside', as in, 'visible, present, participating'. If Death exists, I doubt it bothers with our boring human realm but lives downunder, among all threads that weave the world.
So that's that on Arthur Pym.
A few other references my mind is too exhausted to tie in nicely:
Death takes Lenore. THE Lenore from 'The Raven' (mostly) and 'Lenore' (secondary). That happened. Also, death talking to a child of life? Regretting having to take her? Not very demonic of dear ol' Verna, in my opinion.
Her mourning veil, her last toasts to the Ushers at the cemetery? Demons don't tend to grieve their players. Demons don't respect and love them enough, and 'what is grief, if not love persevering'?
Death is the last threshold. Before death, we look upon our legacy (major theme with the show), we remember our losses and loves (Annabel Lee!!!!! love the poem, brilliantly done), we get heavy with regrets. We face death as an enemy & fight, like Madeline did. As a friend, like Arthur did. We confess, like Roderick did. All that is too significant to me overall.
And the last thing. It's Edgar Allan Poe. The whole Death tribute is a giant, incredible, thought-through-to-the-bits hommage to his literature where Death, figuratively and literally, takes the throne.
I hope I managed to express myself alright there. Thanks if you read it through, and as I said before, feel free to follow up or elaborate on some ideas. There are oceans to discuss. <3

What if Rocket went back in time himself to help the other guardians?
thank you so much for sending this my way, you perfect golden pancake ♡ i've been rolling this around in my head for days now - what a jewel of a thought. there are so many possibilities.
because when all is said and done, i think it's foolish to imagine that rocket didn't figure out how to tame pym particles while he was on terra helping with the snap. by the time the universe was saved and he had his friends back, he'd have figured out where and how to harvest the little subatomic sparks. countless restless nights would have been spent reverse-engineering pymtech.
hell, way back when rocket had first seen the machine tony and bruce had patched together, he'd been intrigued for all of a whole five minutes before identifying at least thirty-six ways he could've improved efficacy. the machine looks all shiny and fancy, but rocket's no stranger to narcissists with big budgets. after all, he knows better than anyone that a rapid-evolution chamber will only make monsters if your glycosylated salts and beta-microseminoproteins ain't right, no matter how many resources you throw at it.
(to be honest, rocket is actually quite annoyed that the avengers - whom he has privately nicknamed the scavengers, after hearing red make a crack about him eating trash - had him and nebs running errands for danvers this whole time. he could've been figuring out better ways to make this whole time-travel situation work, with more precision and less risk of like... running out of pym particles. morons.)
so anyway, point is, once rocket has all most of his friends back (and that's the problem, isn't it), he starts tinkering with pymshit. the guardians eventually settle (more or less) on knowhere and amidst thirty other insomnia-driven projects that include both the bowie and a massive ocular cannon for the skull, rocket's also messing around with pymtech and wakandan nanomachines, and he's marrying them all together in some big, messy, rocket-original creation - complete with duct tape he smuggled off terra.
if anyone had asked - and nobody but nebula does, to be honest - rocket would've told them it was a good thing he'd never had alone-time with doctor strange. he'd heard the stories from pete - about what the time wizard had said. only one possible outcome where we win. well, that's all very well and good for the doctor and his friends. red and stark had chosen to sacrifice themselves.
but what about gamora? she'd never had the frickin' option.
this time-travel project is the first thing rocket's intentionally hidden from nebula in years - other than his origins on halfworld, anyway. but he can't risk her finding out and trying to talk him out of it because she thinks it's unsafe, and he can't risk getting her hopes up if he can't get gams back. plus, she might tell pete, and that would be a whole different nightmare.
so, late one night on only a thimbleful of sleep, he finishes. his plans get interrupted by the mess with the high evolutionary, and then he has to put off using it because he's the frickin' captain or whatever (talk about sleepless nights) and then finally - finally - there's a gap where he thinks he can go. he'll come back, and no-one will even know he was gone. it's a time machine, after all. he climbs in, and he settles against the vinyl seat and takes the controls in his hand.
she handles like a fuckin' dream.
he gives gams the heads-up. strategizes with her. checks back with the future where he lives and learns that at least in this universe, there are now two gamoras: the moral compass currently on terra meeting pete's grandpa, and the snarly time-travelling ravager who rocket has also started to develop a grudging affection toward. pete's happy. nebs is happy. both gamoras are happy. and knowhere starts to feel a little like home.
but sleep still doesn't come. the nightmares are still there. and rocket starts to think maybe he doesn't have to stop with gams. groot might've chosen to sacrifice himself, but rocket figures - maybe he didn't need to. maybe that can change.
but i can imagine how that conversation would go.
you gotta figure something else out, our rocket would tell groot the elder, and groot would say something like, i am groot?
and rocket would say, there's gotta be another option. you gotta live. i want you to meet your kid.
and groot would say, i am groot?
and rocket would say, uh, yeah, you got a kid, and then he'd try to explain, and groot would say, i am groot. i am groot. which basically means, it sounds like you are my child's father, and i won't risk taking that from either of you. this is the light i choose to follow.
i gotta save you, rocket would say, holding the words in his teeth, unable to give them up. i gotta save you, and lylla, and teefs, and floor -
and groot would stop him with a very gentle i am groot, which, to translate, is something like, and how will that change things? will i never find you, little mammal? will you never find our current family? how will they ever meet each other, or escape the kyln, or overcome all the things you tell me they are meant to overcome - without you? where will the galaxy be if the you I know isn't part of it?
i am groot, he adds, which kind of means, you underestimate how very important you are.
and so this new, second trip won't lead to anything tangibly changed in our rocket's universe - not in any way that an outsider would notice, or see. but those moments, to say good-bye, to say i miss you, to say i don't really think you're an idiot and i love you -
they change something inside rocket.
and when he returns to knowhere, he's finally able to sleep.
taglist ♡ @evolvingchaoswitch ♡ @glow-autumz ♡ @wren-phoenix ♡ @suicidalshitstick ♡ @pretty-chips

Okay Thoughts before bed on the House Of Usher; I just started episode 3 so please don't spoil anything that happens in episodes 3-8; this is just me guessing:
I knew they were gonna get rid of the vampirism but I was kinda happy they at least replaced it with "immortality" and I guess to be fair Usher was never strictly about vampirism; that was just one reading of it
However I thought they'd get rid of the Other theme in Usher which uh. iykyk but some of the foreshadowing here has me a little like. Daisy and Gatsby huh....?
I feel like a Bad Poe Fan but I don't remember where Leo's name comes from. I know his narrative is The Black Cat but the main character in that was unnamed and I don't remember a Napoleon in any other story. I also don't understand how Leo ties with the Black Cat (I know he OWNS one but that seems kinda basic. Where are the Themes) or how that's going to go since the main character in that one also didn't die iirc, but it's one of the Poe stories I'm honestly less familiar with.
I appreciate Camille's dedication to fucking her evil henchmen. Love that for her. I also know what her plotline is so y'know RIP her head off by an adrenaline-jacked monkey
I get Gold-Bug is about greed but it's 1. not a horror story and 2. really not well-known at all? It just doesn't fit with the lineup here. They also aren't foreshadowing it, probably cause it doesn't make any sense to use. The really nixed the Cask of Amontillado in favor of Gold-Bug?
I mean other than the Clown Jumpscare from episode 1 I guess
Inb4 "Murders in the Rue Morgue isn't horror either" okay gristly detective narratives can be horror as a treat. Also that one IS a classic. No one likes Gold-Bug
I think Vic is the mole because her narrative is the Tell-Tale Heart and that would make the most sense. It's right there in the title. I'm willing to be wrong but if she's not I don't know why they bothered using the Tell-Tale Heart at all. Yeah I know genetic heart conditions etc. but I also appreciate their making her the Only Sane Woman of the family too. Dedication to theming A+
I've never read Tamerlane I don't think. I hope it's about having a fetish for watching your husband cheat on you or whatever the hell she was doing in that scene
I know they're not doing William Wilson other than a 1-second reference but lmao can you imagine
Arthur Gordon Pym I get why they used the name and it has nothing to do with the OG story but like Sir Why Are You Not A Cannibal. Eat some people about it sir
Freddy's is the best foreshadowing and kicks ass. Even if I HADN'T been able to guess what his narrative is via the Ghost Cameos in the beginning I could have told you and also that is some killer subtle referencing and Theme Dedication we stan a well-done reference point.
Verna = raven I don't know if that was meant to be subtle but I got it in 3 seconds. It was cute though; it was cute I liked it
Annabelle "oh my husband is so romantic he can quote a poem with my name in it uwu" ask him to quote the whole thing ma'am. Ask him how it ends
RIP Prospero we hardly knew ye. I sort of hoped he'd live longer but that was probably mostly cause The Masque of the Red Death is one of my favorites. Also the climactic ending to that one went HARD
I see why people say this one's not really scary though cause so far this hasn't been scary at all. Ah well

Being Hope Van Dyne’s child & and part of the Van Dyne/Pym/Lang Family…
Inspired by @shenanigans-and-imagines & @moonlit-imagines headcanons writing ✍️…
Tumblr media
(Pre-Ant Man):
- when Hope discovered she was expecting you it was a surprise.
- she hadn’t planned to have kids (at least not in the point she was currently in her life) and her own trauma involving her parents, her father especially.
- But feeling that this could be the chance to give you the childhood she didn’t get to have, she soon warmed up to the idea of being a Mom.
- and the moment she got to look at you and hold you for the first time after your birth she knew that you’d be the center of her world.
- She kept you a secret from Hank for awhile, then not talking for long periods of time wasn’t usual at this point (since they still had a strained relationship) so her not contacting him for about nine months didn’t raise suspicions…at first.
- eventually she did tell him, since as complicated as her relationship with him was she wouldn’t let that rob you of having at least one grandparent in your life (plus, the experience of him being a grandfather).
- To her shock he took it quite well, he was pretty happy and excited to see his first grandchild in person and became quickly fond of you.
- you became the only thing Hope and Hank had in common, their love for you and just wanting you to be safe and happy.
- Hope was the opposite of everything Hank had been as a parent, she was present for everything, ever single event.
- whether it’d be a school play, a sports event, a mandatory parents day at school, parent-teacher conferences — you name it she was there.
- And she made sure she was even if it interfered with her work schedule, she’d move it around just for you, she’d move planets just so you’d know how special you were to her.
- when it was ‘take your child to work day’ was when she’d let you go to Pym technologies, and see the work both her and you grandpa did.
- and let’s not get started on how much Hank loved to recount his old days as the hero, Ant-Man, to you.
“And then I convinced the Ants to help me” Hank said as he told you another story from one of his many past escapades “with our combined strengths, we defeated the centipede,”
“Hank, I told you not to fill their heads with those stories,” Hope said
Hank rolled his eyes “there meant to be inspirational,”
- you liked hearing those stories, and would beg him to tell you some of them when Hope wasn’t in the room.
- you caught on quick from an early age the strain between your mom and grandpa, which you didn’t really understand then.
- both your mom and grandpa could agree that they didn’t want you to be a hero and put on the suit.
- however you couldn’t help but have their stubbornness and as you got older and understood quantum physics better then your average child (being a Pym and all) you’d want to follow in those footsteps someday.
(Ant-man):
- your were still young when Scott first entered your family’s life…(around 10 or so).
- you had heard the news of someone breaking in and stealing your grandpa’s old ant-man suit and gear.
- and when you found out it was somebody like Scott, let’s just say you weren’t very impressed.
- you didn’t get how a guy like this had been an expert enough thief to break in, steal your grandpa’s stuff, and also been in prison prior.
- to you he was kinda a goofball.
- but watching your mom mess with him and one up him in boxing was pretty entertaining.
“Can I have a turn?” You asked in your most innocent tone as you watched them spar.
“Now that’d be unfair to him,” Hope snarked at Scott’s expense.
“Come on!” He groaned, as he still held his side from being punched by Hope earlier.
- you also had fun scaring him with ants randomly appearing in hoards, you had a piece of tech that your grandpa gave you as a gift (in secret of course) that let you control and communicate with them.
- you hid them as you own personal ant farm but would occasionally let them roam free like they were dogs that needed to be walked and you’d use it at Scott’s expense.
“What’s going on here?” Scott asked trying to hide his discomfort at seeing the amount of ants that seemed to be following you.
“Their my pets,” you said casually.
“Their…very well trained…” he said unsure what to say to that.
“Thank you,”
- Being a victim of Darren (Yellowjacket’s) revenge plan, kidnapping you and taking you hostage.
- let’s just say you meet you eventual future step-sister I’m not the best circumstances.
- But once Scott appeared and save you both you opinion on him changed, even if it was just a little…
- you weren’t that surprised when him and your mom started dating, she seemed happy and that’s all you wanted.
- plus, meeting Cassie again and quickly forming a sibling bond with her…
“Are you gonna be my new sibling?” Cassie asked you while visiting Scott one day and you and your Mom were also their.
“Maybe?” You said unsure, a part of you kinda hoped things worked out for them.
A moment of silence passed, until…
“Cool! I always wanted one!” Cassie said excitedly.
“Me too!” You agreed just as excited.
- the idea of your family growing was something you started to like the idea of.
- but Scott still took his time to grow on you, you saw him as pretty silly for an adult. While Scott thought you took everything to seriously for a kid.
- but then it all went south when he took the ant man suit to go help Captain America when the avengers were having some drama.
- and even though he was put under house arrest, you, your mom, and grandpa all laid low and hid out for a bit as to stay out of it.
- until a new threat would arise…
(Ant man and the wasp):
- seeing Scott for the first time after the events of civil war and still holding it against him that he inadvertently caused your family to go into hiding and get into trouble from association.
“Kid, I’m sorry, really…” Scott apologized to you for what seemed like the millionth time.
You still didn’t look at him as your arms were crossed over your chest in anger.
“Is their anyway I can make it up to you?”
“If you had captain America’s autograph, maybe…” you said.
- you only got more upset when both your mom and grandpa started to leave you out of their quantum realm experiment.
- you had been told what had happened to your grandmother, and how she got stuck there. When the chance to meet her finally presented itself you wanted to help only for them to exclude you.
- they reasoned it was for your own safety and to not get your hopes up too much, but you were still a bit bitter.
- but then everything with foster and Ava or Ghost happened.
- and going against your mom and grandpa’s request you snuck around and ended up helping them out, and even more surprising you had a ant suit of your own.
- something you had been secretly working on for awhile behind their backs, you had wanted to show to them eventually, but considering the current situation you had no choice but to debut it early.
“And when we’re you going to tell me?” Hope scolded you, despite being in the middle of a conflict she still took a moment to address you.
“I was going to tell you when I knew it worked properly,”
“Does it?!” She asked now concerned if you were wearing a faulty suit. She didn’t want her only kid to shrink to the size of an insect and stay that way.
“Relax, it works fine,”
“Relaxing is the last thing I need right now!” She said.
- while Hank and Scott were just as equally surprised by your appearance and suit, they were much more quicker to accept it.
- Hank even complemented it and found it quite impressive.
- But stopped short when he saw Hope’s glare.
- After dealing with Foster and Ava and coming to an understanding and helping Ava out with her condition it was time to finally rescue Janet.
- and what a moment it was when she and Hank both reappeared out of the quantum realm.
- Janet’s reunion with Hank and Hope was emotional enough, but when she saw you…her grandchild, she walked up to you and you stood there in stunned silence, dumbfounded.
- she was your grandma but you didn’t know what to say as your first words to her ever.
- you didn’t need to say anything as she gently grabbed you face to get a good look at you and you both stared at each other and finally hugged.
- a sentimental moment that got Hank and Hope as they watched, and Scott to — who was close to bawling at that point.
- a happy reunion to say the least, until it all took a turn…
- one minute you, your mom, and grandparents were sending Scott to the quantum realm and the next you were the only one still standing by the control panels while dust suddenly filled the air around you.
- you heard Scott calling out through the headset but you still weren’t experienced enough yet to bring him back and you were now standing alone without a way to figure out what had just happened.
(Endgame):
- the event was called the blip, and you had no choice but to leave Scott in the quantum realm since you had no knowledge yourself yet and all your other family was gone.
- you had no other family to go to (seeing as you didn’t know you actual father) so you went to see the first other person that came to mind at that moment, Cassie.
- to your relief she was okay and so was her mom and step-dad, Maggie and Jim.
- they were aware of you through countless stories from Cassie and Scott mentioning you too.
- having hearing what happens to your family they were kind enough to let you stay at their place for and not and look after you.
- ‘a bit’ turned into about five years.
- and during that time you had gone into a depression about losing your family and feeling guilty about leaving Scott stuck in the quantum realm…you used the time to study up on all the quantum psychics you could and all your grandfather’s notes as well.
- Cassie would occasionally help and started to become the interested as well.
- your bond as siblings grew during that time, feeling responsible for what happened to her father you made sure to look out for her and protect her like any hood older sibling.
- but then Scott came back, showing up at the front door out of the blue, much to your and Cassie’s delight.
- Scott of course surprised by how much the two of you had grown, but also caught of guard when you hugged him. Never one to show affectionate displays before, especially with him prior…
“What’s happening? What’s going on?” Scott asked as you hinged him tight.
“I’m giving you a hug, goof. I missed you,”
“You too, wait, a goof?”
“Don’t ruin the moment,” you whispered.
- when he was caught up on everything, he left to go find the remains avengers and help them fix everything.
- and he did, they all did. You weren’t sure at first how they did all you know the next time you saw Scott your mom was by his side.
- Scott had explained to you how it was done, how they traveled through time and all, but you didn’t pay much attention you were to focused on your reunion with your mom.
(Ant-man quantumania):
- to say the success had gone to Scott’s head was an understatement.
- you and Cassie made jokes about it behind his back.
- sure, he had done a lot to save the world and bring everyone back and you appreciated that, but it sometimes felt like he was the sole reason for all of it.
- you had since gotten a part time job at Pym tech helping you mom out since during the blip you had done a lot of research and studying.
- and was now old enough to have a proper job (something Hope avoided bringing up since it just reminded her of all the time she missed with you).
- secretly helping Cassie build her own suit, and helping her make the device to contact the quantum realm along with your grandparents.
- that was until you all suddenly got sucked into the quantum realm by said device.
- you’d probably be with Cassie and Scott and the three of you would be stuck together trying to look for your mom and grandparents.
- in the mean time you were forced to be the mediator for Scott and Cassie’s arguments and caught in between their bickering and disagreements.
- you had never felt more uncomfortable then in those moments.
“Could you please tell my Dad that I can handle myself?” Cassie said, after another argument where she didn’t feel like speaking to Scott and making you be her message sender.
“Got it, Scott, Cassie says…”
“I heard…” Scott said.
- another form of awkwardness came from how this was the longest period of time you’d spent with Scott without your mom present.
- the two of you never really pin down what your dynamic was to each other.
- you never felt comfortable enough to call him ‘dad’ or anything like that, and your interactions now made you seem like friends from work who were hesitantly hanging out with each other.
- then you all got captured by a group of resistance fighters, who were fighting against a ruler neither one of you knew yet.
- it was a assortment of characters to say the least and after drinking some strange liquid, from Cassie’s insistence, you did and was suddenly able to understand the various creatures around you.
- and soon learned why they formed the resistance in the first place, you and Cassie wanted to help them while Scott just wanted to find Hope, Hank, and Janet and then get them all out of here safely.
- but then the camp was ambushed and attacked and before the three of you could escape you were stopped and captured by this machine that called himself, Modok.
- which later turned out to be Darren. Much to all your surprises.
“It’s you, little Pym,” he said towards you, the three of you had been placed into small prison cells of sorts and he floated in the hallway.
“Look how tall you’ve gotten you were like this small last time I saw you,” he added making idle chit-chat.
“And last time I saw you, you were…” you tried not to say the obvious, so instead “holding me hostage, so I guess some things never change.”
- you soon meet the ruler that everyone in the quantum realm feared, Kang.
- he made a deal with Scott, if he helped Kang he’d let them all go free and unharmed. And proceeded to use his power to lift up Cassie and she had a look on her face that said she was trying to retrain showing she was in pain.
- you were about to yell out but he soon did the same to you and you both groaned out in pain until Scott screamed for him to stop and that he’d do whatever he wanted him to do. Just don’t harm his children.
- but it turned out to be a trick since the task was much more dangerous then Kang had lead on.
- as you both stayed back forced to listen through the comm Scott struggle down there something suddenly motivated you to say something neither you or Scott would ever hear you say…
“Come on Dad!” You called out hoping he heard in the intercom “you can do it!”
- the motivation of not wanting to let Cassie or you down allows all his other selfs to work together to help him out and with the arrival of Hope they both escaped.
- only for Kang to go back on his desk and keep the both of you still locked up and in his grasp.
- this decision would not work out in the long run.
- soon Hank’s ant army and the remaining resistances fighters all showed up and raided the building. Helping other captors, like Cassie and you, escape.
- as the two of you fought alongside each other past the guards you son made it to the control room and Cassie along with the resistance leader, Jentorra delivered their speeches and words of encouragement.
- you witnessed what happened to Darren and his few moments left, you felt genuinely bad for him.
- then the ultimate defeat of Kang as he got sucked into his own device and disappeared you and Cassie along with Hank and Janet escaped while the portal closed leaving Scott and Hope behind.
- not wanting to lose either of your parents again, you both went to the computers and tried to reopen the portals, with success.
- Scott and Hope were save and the four of you had a small family group hug, which was semi-ruined by Scott…
“So Dad, huh?”
“What?”
“You called me Dad back their, does that mean…” Scott asked sounding hopeful.
“Don’t ask,” you said but you still had a small smile.
- it seems that after everything a small part of you had finally admitted to seeing Scott as a father figure.
- and when you all made it back in time to celebrate Cassie’s birthday and seeing your whole family together you knew you wouldn’t have it any other way.
^^hope you enjoyed these headcanons!!!
Thanks for reading!!!

Honestly I could imagine a scene where Nadia in the MCU(I love crossing dimensional story so much) where she tried to explain the Pym-Maximoff-Kaplan whoever’s on their family tree. Hope just like staring at her dad like ‘what the f*ck dad’ on her face, and Hank like in complicated face expression ‘idk ask my alternate self about that’ that would be funny though I unsure how much in character that is.
LMAO. Yeah, I can totally see that. Though a more in-character idea might be like "this is all that idiot's fault" lol.

Hi, could you write about Scott Lang x eight-year-old daughter Y/N.
Y/N returns home from school with a note from the teacher saying that she has been punished for breaking the nose of a classmate.
And when Hope (her mom) asked why she did it, Y/N answered.
Y/N: He said bad things about you, dad, Cassie and about grandma and grandpa. And I did to him the same thing that Grandpa did to that stupid head of the Shield who said bad things about Grandma, I hit his face on the table.
Tumblr media
Hank: you punched someone who insulted our entire family?
Y/N: yes. are you mad?
Hope: baby we don't solve problems like-
Scott: did you give a mean right hook like your momma?
Hope: Scott!!
Hank: I'm sure it was more like my right hook or Janet's
Janet: we don't encourage punching.
Hope: thank you!
Janet: next time use the stinger, honey. It's easier to hide
Hope: Mom!

Chapter 7: Surprise!
Night had fallen by the time you reentered your house after what seemed to be an endless day. Only the streetlamp on the distant sidewalk illuminated the ghostly shapes of sheet-covered furniture in your living room and the neat stacks of boxes that sat every few feet along your route. You did not bother to flick on an overhead light to illuminate the winding path. None were needed; the sound of conversation and the warm glow issuing from the one occupied room in your house sufficed to guide you safely to the kitchen.
"Sustenance has arrived!" Thor boomed as he followed you through the open door.
What had once been the most terrifying place in the world to you no longer had any room at all to contain fear. The dining room table had been pulled to the center of the tile, but even that could not contain all the people inside. Your usual four chairs couldn't either. Some people stood as a result. Some had pulled in chairs from other rooms. Everyone was there, however: Hank, Janet, Hope, Scott, and Cassie looked up at your arrival. The first rose to pull some of the pizza boxes from Thor's arms.
"It's about damn time," Hank grumped as he placed them on the counter by the sink and pulled one open. "The doorbell rang twenty minutes ago. We'll be lucky if anything's still warm."
"They still have a working oven if we need it, dear," Janet said.
"And if we do, I offer my apologies," said Thor, placing the remaining boxes near the oven. "The delivery man is an Avengers fan. [Name] and I had to convince him to take money in exchange for his goods and services."
"Wait. You're telling me people give you guys free stuff?" asked Scott.
"They often try. Of course, it is improper for heroes such as ourselves to accept such lavish gifts."
"Wow."
Scott's awed tone caused Hope to roll her eyes at you behind his back. You couldn't exactly blame her. Thor could easily afford to reject free food from his admirers when it wasn't his money being spent. He probably didn't even know what an American twenty-dollar bill looked like. Since the last thing you wanted was to get Hank started on a rant about Tony Stark's refusal to pay Avengers like employees, though, you kept your mouth shut and joined the line for dinner.
A tickling at your side made you look up. Now Hope stood right next to you.
"Just how many pictures did he insist on before he left?" she asked, voice low enough to go unheard above Hank and Thor's continued quarrel.
"Too many," you said tiredly.
"Poor thing. Your ankles must be killing you."
"They're not feeling great."
She took you by the shoulders and forcibly turned you toward the table. "Go sit down. I'll bring your food over."
You couldn't muster up any energy to argue with her. Bobbing up and down like a half-deflated balloon, you dragged your swollen body over to one of the now-empty kitchen chairs. There you collapsed, grateful to have just a moment to rest. Packing up your entire house in one day would have been a tall order when you weren’t in your final trimester—not that any of your friends had let you do much of anything since you were. How you could be so exhausted after so little work, you had no idea. And yet you were that exhausted. Somehow you must have fallen asleep in the midst of all the commotion. A hand on your shoulder had you starting awake only a few minutes later.
“It’s just me,” said Hope. “I brought you some food.”
In fact, she had. She slid a plate with three slices of your favorite pizza in front of you. Forgetting that you’d hardly done anything that day demanding that level of caloric intake, you snatched up the first slice and stuffed half of it in your mouth before Hope could sit down next to you. “I’m glad to see you’ve still got your appetite after everything that’s been going on,” she said.
“Indeed! My [Name] must keep her strength up for her upcoming labor!”
Thor sat down on your other side just in time to put his own two cents into the conversation. His own plate overflowed with pizza. He must have had the equivalent of at least one entire pie stacked there. Well, you’d ordered as much as you had partially because you knew how much food Thor could put away. You also knew he’d try to get you to eat some of it as well. When the doctor said you were eating for two, Thor took that comment seriously—and Asgardian babies, apparently, needed a lot of sustenance.
Cassie trotted over to one of the vacant chairs. As soon as she spotted Thor’s mountain of food, her eyes grew huge. “Woah! Is that how you became so mighty? If I eat that much pizza, will I be mighty, too?”
“You’ll probably get pretty big, Peanut,” her father said as he, too, joined your group at the table. “But I don’t think pizza will make you strong.”
“Pizza is not the necessary ingredient, little one! I am sure you already mighty for your size. If you keep working, one day you could even be worthy enough to pick up my hammer.” Thor gestured at the nearby corner. There sat Mjolnir, safely out of the way of anyone’s path.
Her eyes went even wider. “But pizza won’t make me less worthy?” “Eat as much pizza as your heart desires. Why, I eat pizza regularly and remain worthy to this day!”
Cassie grinned. Then she dove into her own meal. You noticed, however, that she kept watching Thor, and seemed to be doing her best to keep up with him as he ate.
For a little while, no one spoke. The entire group focused more on eating than on talking. It had been a long, busy day. You didn’t appreciate this moment of respite as much at the first. All the quiet served to remind you that this sort of gathering would never happen again, or at least if it did, it wouldn’t be the same. All of a sudden, you weren’t ready to face that. Every person you cared about sat in your kitchen that night. In a few days’ time, you’d be eating your meals with Thor’s friends, who, while undoubtedly good people, weren’t your friends. Only now had it really occurred to you that in leaving this house, you weren’t only giving up your beloved gardens and a job you didn’t care for much to begin with.
“Hey, [Name],” Cassie’s voice interrupted your gloomy thoughts. “You’ll be back for my soccer finals, right? We just made the playoffs yesterday!”
Hope didn’t give you a chance to answer yourself. She took Cassie’s nearest hand in hers and said, “It’s going to be hard for [Name] to travel until she has the baby.”
Cassie looked at you, crestfallen. “But you’re traveling to New York this weekend.”
“That sort of travel can’t be helped,” said Hope.
“If I can be there for your tournament, I will,” you assured Cassie, then added at Hope’s stern look, “I’ve been assured that the Bifrost is perfectly safe for unborn babies. As long as I’m not actually in labor when I use it, I should be fine.”
“So long as Kevin does not attempt to attend the event as well,” Thor said.
Hank, standing over by the sink with his wife, snorted. “Trust me. If that jackass dares to get anywhere within my line of sight, he’ll regret it.”
“Thank you, Dr. Pym.”
The sincerity in Thor’s voiced only made Hank shrug awkwardly. He wouldn’t meet Thor’s eyes or yours.
Janet stroked his shoulder. “You’re going to miss, [Name], aren’t you? We’re all going to.” She looked over at you. “You’re part of the family.”
Those words were like a dagger to your heart. Tears filled your eyes as you slowly rose to your aching feet and made your way over to where she and Hank stood. Still avoiding looking directly at you, the latter removed his glasses and sniffed. Another jolt in your stomach accompanied your realization that Hank’s eyes were wet, too.
“Hank, I’ll be back,” you said.
“Sure you will. That’s why you’re moving all the way across the country.”
“I’m moving all the way across the country because of Kevin.”
“No, you’re moving to be with the Avengers. You don’t trust us to keep you safe.”
You could have laughed at that, had there not been a gigantic, Thor-sized frog in your throat. “Hank, you’re retired. You’ve just got Janet and Hope back. I don’t want you wasting your time keeping me safe when there’s an AI in New York that can make sure I never see Kevin again.”
“She’s right, darling,” said Janet. “And you’ll come visit us, won’t you, [Name]? After all the dust has settled?”
“Of course I will. Janet’s right, Hank. You all are my family. And this little guy is going to want to see his grandparents.”
Through you fully anticipated a pause after this announcement, you had not expected it to be quite so long and thorough. Every single mouth in the room gaped at you—except for Thor’s, obviously. He’d known you were going to tell everyone about your plans this evening from the beginning.
“Grandparents?” Hank croaked.
“That’s right. Thor and I went to see the doctor this week for an ultrasound. I’m having a boy. We’ve decided to keep him and raise him as ours.”
“Kevin,” Thor said, “will have nothing to do with the baby. That is also one of the reasons for our moving. Though [Name] prevailed in obtaining protection from the court, that protection is only a piece of paper. We want to ensure the child will never have contact with Kevin.”
“Oh, that’s wonderful, [Name]! Congratulations!” Janet threw her arms around you.
Hank still seemed too stunned to speak. In the vacuum of his shock, Scott, Hope, and Cassie came over to the sink as well to offer congratulations and hugs.
“I was hoping you’d be his godmother,” you told Hope when she released you.
She didn’t answer. Her eyes flooded with tears to match your own, and then she swept you up in another hug even longer than the last. This embrace only came to an end when Cassie said:
“Does this mean I’m getting a baby brother?”
Hope laughed wetly before turning to the little girl. “Not quite.”
“More like a baby cousin,” said Scott.
“Can I teach him how to play soccer?” Cassie asked.
“Once he’s old enough,” you answered.
“When’s that?”
You opened your mouth to tell not for a few years at least (no matter what Thor might say to the contrary) when Hank straightened and took a step in your direction.
Hope let you go.
“[Name],” Hank began.
He didn’t need to finish. Not wanting to lose your nerve, you wrapped your arms around him, paused, and kissed him on the cheek.
“Thank you, Hank,” you said as you let go of him.
“Harrumph,” he replied. “I’ll never forgive Kevin for what he did to you. But if you’re willing to move on and make the best of a bad situation, well, so am I.” Then he smiled. “You better bring that kid to see me all the time. Don’t you go letting Tony Stark fill his head with the wrong ideas.”
“I promise.”
You and Hank might have continued to smile tearfully at one another for another twenty minutes—or at least until you couldn’t bear standing up any longer—had Janet not suddenly squealed:
“Group hug! Group hug!”
“Wha—”
Too late! Janet interrupted Hank’s protest by way of squishing him between you and herself. Then Hope joined in, followed by Scott, then Cassie, and finally Thor, who practically lifted the whole group into the air together in his enthusiasm to participate.
“Would you kindly put me down?” Hank snapped.
Everyone laughed. Thor obliged as far as placing Hank’s feet back on the ground, but he didn’t let him go.
Warm and held at the very center of the throng, you felt only happiness and relief. No one hated you for your decision to keep the baby. Kevin would never bother you again. And most importantly of all: You weren’t really giving up anything in leaving San Francisco. All you were doing was gaining more time with Thor, and perhaps a few new friends along the way. Heaven knew you’d need a lot to get through the coming years. Fortunately, you knew the Pyms would always be there for you, and Scott and Cassie, no matter how much Thor or Tony Stark they had to endure.

If you follow me, you've probably seen my Galaxy of Justice crossover, with DC characters in the Star Wars universe. Recently, I thought it would be fun to imagine some Marvel Characters in the Star Wars universe as well.
So here's Clone Captain Rogers, Cound Johann Schmidt, Tony Stark, U1T-20N, Jane Foster, Gorr the Jedi Hunter, Peter Parker, and the Abersyn Sybiote Venom.
Because I have no self control, I've also written up short-ish character descriptions, which are under the cut.
NSFW blogs do not reblog!
Captain Rogers: Clone trooper CT-1941, Captain Rogers was a defective clone, born with a number of health issues, he wasn’t expected to ever see the front lines. Eventually, he was given a special set of armor, helping to augment his weakened body and allow him to join the fight. Rogers was unique among clones in the way he fought too, having a thinner build, he often had to get more creative when forced into hand-to-hand combat situations. He also wielded a prototype energy shield as an extra measure to keep himself safe and his armor intact. When Order 66 was given, Captain Rogers defected, leaving the new Empire and eventually joining the Rebel Alliance, fighting to protect all the innocents in the galaxy.
Count Johann Schmidt: A count in the Galactic Empire, Schmidt oversaw the extermination on Geonosis, the chemicals used a specific concoction of his own design. However, he was caught in an explosion with some of the chemicals, causing him to be extremely injured. As a result of these injuries, a majority of his body needed to be replaced with cybernetics, and his face was permanently scarred, the chemical eating away at most of his hair and muscle on his exposed face, giving him a gaunt, skeletal appearance along with the remaining burns and scars.
Tony Stark: A weapon developer for the shipyards of Corellia, Tony was taken by the Empire to the Maw Installation to develop new weapons and technology for them. He became close to another scientist named Hank Pym and the 2 of them worked on the Dark Trooper program in the early days, with Tony developing the armor/body for the troopers while Pym developed the Artificial Intelligence. However, instead of creating the weapons and armor for the Dark Trooper, he developed it for himself, using the prototype to escape from the Maw Installation.Tony eventually joined the Rebel Alliance, using his shipbuilding and weapons expertise to help better equip and fix the Rebel fleet.
U1T-20N: Created by scientist Hank Pym in the Maw Installation, U1T-20N, or Ultron, was the prototype artificial intelligence for the Dark Trooper program. After Tony Stark escaped and took the prototype armor originally intended for Ultron, he built himself a new body, using the incredibly strong and durable clone trooper commando armor template and used the limited supply of stolen bekar that was at the Maw to make this new body nearly indestructible.
Jane Foster: A scientist for the Republic, after Order 66 Jane helped many Jedi escape the Empire, eventually meeting with a Jedi named Thor Odinson. Odinson wielded a special type of forcesaber like early Jedi used, this one powered by his own connection with the Force rather than the Dark Side. Jane ended up traveling with Thor and his fellow Jedi, evading the Empire and helping those they could. But when the Empire caught up with them, Odinson was mortally injured, entrusting his damaged forcesaber to Jane. She eventually repaired it, but due to her own weak connection to the Force, using the saber causes Jane considerable pain, slowly killing her every time she uses it.
Gorr: Gorr hailed from an isolated planet past the Outer Rim with a number of small colonies. The planet was inhospitable and was constantly under attack from raiders or pirates looking for a planet to land on and refuel or lie low from the authorities. Hearing legends of the Jedi, Gorr and his people hoped one day the Jedi may come to rescue them. After losing his family to a raider attack, Gorr swore revenge on the Jedi. One day, Gorr found a mysterious weapon in an isolated desert on his planet. With this dagger, he killed all the raiders and stole one of their ships, vowing to hunt down and eradicate the Jedi.
Peter Parker: The son of a Jedi survivor, Peter lived in a small city, on a small mid-rim planet, his family keeping themselves away from as much conflict as they could. As Peter got older, he began to feel his connection to the Force, like his father Ben Parker. Ben told him that he needed to keep it a secret, but like most teenagers, Peter couldn’t help but show off, his skills and abilities being seen as super-human. However, when the Empire learned of someone with Jedi-like abilities, an Inquisitor found their way to the Parker house. Ben gave his life so Peter and his mother could escape, but after seeing Ben give his life to protect the ones he loved, Peter knew he couldn’t just sit by and do nothing. So he joined a small Rebel cell, working to free his planet from the Empire. Peter makes sure to keep his face hidden though, worried what might happen to his mother if the Empire ever learned who he was.
Venom: A Force sensitive Abersyn Symbiote, Venom has been alive for millenia, using their Dark Side abilities to drain the life energy from other beings to keep their current host alive. Venom is not affiliated with any other Sith and has gone unnoticed by most for a majority of their existence.

ngl I wish jarvis made jan her favorite drink instead we don't know so many things about her :/ I also don't like the bar/ avengers hq thing what do you think?
no yeah..... biggest problem with janet and how writers treat her imo is that there's always a desire to "fix" her and her character, but they don't actually know how to do that so despite her possibly having the most interesting inner life of any avenger from running a business, being a passionate fashion designer who is successful, and being an avenger and having her eyes on scientific persuits like nadia's g.i.r.l. laboratories or keeping pym laboratories up and running we never really SEE any of that it's always just implied. hoping this will change but yeah even something as simple as knowing what her favourite drink is specifically would be really fun and help flesh her out further and further!
and yeah, the bar is like, okay i can see it getting set up as a narrative device to be in later comics but.... i miss the mansion frankly!! i do think janet would have shares in a few different overpriced cocktail bars but i already know this place is gonna get used to fight scenes in different comics. im imagining like a superhero Continental from the john wick universe for some reason djjdhdhehdhf. again, it's okay, but just hoping we see more of what kind of person janet is (WITHOUT MENTIONING HANK PLEASE GD) and who her fashion friends are and if she meets up with jennifer regularly or if she's chatting to wanda and giving her unsolicited business advice etc etc. janet's always had potential and yet the way writers use that potential routinely pisses me off!!! but i have relatively high hopes, manifesting good things etc etc!

Hi, I just found your blog yesterday, but I've already read everything that was in the master list. I really like the way you write, keep it up.👍
This is the first time I write to the author, and I still don't know all the rules about how to make a request, and whether you are writing now or not, so if I write something wrong, then I apologize.😅
I've been thinking about the idea for a story about ant-man for a long time and would like to share it with you.
Idea: Scott and Hope have a baby girl (reader). And everything seems to be fine, but somewhere from the age of six, it becomes clear that the reader is a complete copy of her grandfather Hank Pym, that is: she is incredibly smart, she loves ants (she can talk about them for hours), she also has problems controlling anger (she hit a guy in the face at school for saying that ant-man sucks), thinks that there is no one smarter than her and her grandfather, and she also transferred his sarcastic communication style and views on things and people around, for example, when she first met Tony, she said: "You can never trust Stark."
It would be interesting to see the reader's interaction with other avengers, as well as Scott's attempt to establish a connection with his daughter, even though they are very different.
Hello! I can't believe you read everything already! And thank you, by the way <3 And don't worry, your request doesn't go against any of my rules. :)
Your idea is actually very interesting and while reading it, I could just imagine all the little scenarios in my head. I would love to write another Scott Lang X Female (Daughter) Reader.
I have to get through some of my older requests first, but I'll get to this as quick as I can :)
I post new fanfics, either requested or from my own head, on Fridays. I call it Fanfic Friday :) so stay tuned for anything with that title and with your fanfic request on it. I'll most likely call it 'Brilliant.'
Thank you so much for requesting!

@manymusesmenagerie found peter!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To say Peter had been nervous was an understatement. The culmination of his suffering over the past few weeks had led to this moment, staring up at the gates of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. After Peter graduated from his own school following returning from nothingness and already found himself five years behind, something else just had to go wrong. Something in his biology. It was strange, made him sit on death’s door for an ungodly amount of time.
Tony’s technology couldn’t identify it -- shorted out or broke entirely when he tried. Bruce couldn’t even get near him because of Hulk’s survivalist tendencies. Dr. Pym and his daughter were a contender, but their work was with ants... not spiders.
They were out of options. They had to go bigger. Find another network with people who had answers, who dealt with weird, spontaneous changes in bodies all the time  After painstakingly turning over every stone and peeking on every corner of some shady avenues, Tony found an answer by the name of Charles Xavier. He was a man that claimed to have knowledge of these conditions, something his mentor wouldn’t be sure about if it wasn’t ever mentioned.
And Peter clung on to that, clung on to some sort of hope someone would have an idea behind his acid spit, his weird instincts, his extra pair of arms. He didn’t come all the way out here not to try, right? The spider-boy steeled himself, gripped his suitcases tightly, and walked through the gates onto campus.
It was huge. Bigger than he imagined. Fields of grass surrounded him, stretching almost further than he could make out. This property must be several acres, hidden away from public or prying eyes that might catch interest. There were people who stopped to wave, but he wasn’t up for a conversation with anyone besides the professor, which egged him into moving faster until he was walking right up to that door and inside the school itself.
“Wait... Where’s the office, again?” he mumbles to no one in particular, scanning the faces that pass him by, that subconsciously tell him they’re looking at his arms. His body. His--it’s making his skin crawl.
