Don't you find it icky that in 2023 Taylor Swift is still releasing songs about a fling that was over ten years ago and didn't even last a month? And that her fans are "taking mum's side in the divorce"? And that I'm only seeing people scream about the haylor-ism of the songs and how she dragged him, shredded him to pieces etc, like that's seriously all you care about, and not that (one of) your favourite singers got to reclaim her music?
nope, i don't find it icky at all that she's releasing songs that were written years ago. like, idk by that logical you can only ever make art that's inspired by the current moment and the current emotions you're experiencing, which i don't think is feasible and how artists actually operate. when i write, i draw from past stuff. and sometimes i even take up a piece i abandoned years ago and work on that again and put myself back in that headspace. as for the other stuff. girl. there are crazy people in every fandom. like tbh most of my dash is devoid of haylor talk beyond the gushing about lyrics—gushing not because they're about the guy but because they're simply good lyrics. if you only see the haylor-ism i think you're doing something wrong. if someone wants to take sides or be shitty to a man on social media that's their business. i'm just here vibing. idk what about me or my blog gave you the impression that i care about any relationship drama beyond the music it leaves us with, but i can assure you i don't. all her men, but this man in particular, are such nonconcerns to me. i love getting these rerecording exactly because i am so excited for taylor to reclaim her art in more than one way. and the vault tracks are a part of that. they recontextualises her headspace at that time—the way she was hiding a lot of the inner turmoil and the emotional fallout she was experiencing back then (not just in regards to a very on-off relationship, but also the public's/media's various narratives about her). that's so interesting from an artistic standpoint because it shows just how much she was trying to control the narrative and curate her image and how that led to a more restricted artistic expression of the emotional landscape she was navigating in at that time. and in the end it all came crashing down anyway. privately and publicly. so you know. there is so much more in these vault tracks than 'dragging an ex'.

I want to say something right now that is not guaranteed as a standard fact , because obviously it depends on each situation, but it is something that I see all the time.
Most famous people, or people that actually succeed economically, the majority of them coming from an environment with chaos, meaning bad parents, or poverty, etc.
The minority are only people that came from actually a good family or with money.
Do you wanna know why this happening?
In the first instance, the successful person didn't have anyone to find support. He never found warmth, so he became the best person he could ever DEPEND on , he realized he got nothing to lose or to risk and that's why he tried.Because he know that he is already in a bad position so there's not a bad outcome, because if he fail he will just return in the same bad position he is at right now. Most of them, sooner or later, no matter the falls, succeed.
People, on the contrary, that's coming from good parents or wealth, it is hard to succeed.Meaning, they remain in the same "caste" (again. most of them not all of them). U wanna know why? because their parents are people that actually CARE about their kid. And in a case scenario, if the kid want to try something out of his comfort zone, the parents probably gonna be the reason to stop him because they don't want their kid to face failure. So because the kid actually received love and love it's parents, gonna be affected by their opinion because the kid know that whatever advice they give, they never meant to took him down or sabotage him. And he may cut his dream out and probably live all his life with a "what if" on his mind. In contrast with the first instance when the parents have HORSESHIT mindset and doesn't give a shit about their kids future.
The kid in the second instance have to really try "against them" which is hard as well, the person of course cant face the difficulties like the first one, but he really have to deal with other hard parameters. He has to put effort and *the most important* to make correct "calculations" by not putting everything he has in the beginning because he is already in a good position (wealth) , and if he is going to risk all his networth probably he might fail.
Well, this post is not only promoting the fact that people with a bad environment will succeed. But, it is a post for you to think.
Most people probably reading this, are not coming from good environments because I see the sabotage quotes yall posting and generally y'all have no money right now.Instead of listening to bullshit or thinking why the motherfucker u texted didn't answer or why the girl u want wants the more successful one, try to take these examples as a mainspring to actually try to change your lifeline, you drawed BLACK and will probably put you nowhere.
People in both instances have something common. They listened to themselves no matter the difficulties both examples facing. They made the right calculations and considered every possibility. In your case scenario, what do you have to lose?
People who actually listen and believe to themselves know better than the environment they're dealing with even tho they probably communicate with them EVERY DAY! Of course, you have to try hard. Nothing comes magically, and nothing that's worth.. coming quickly.
Today's task is to sit down and face reality.
If you have the chance to change your faith and fate, why do you decide to waste yourself scrolling, watching bullshit and burning your cells rather than actually doing the work your mind gonna be stressed about?
Educate yourself, study to graduate, take that opportunity you are afraid of.ACT! JUST TAKE THE DECISION AND ACT!You have nothing to lose. And this kind of stress you will feel (which is not stress is a fear) is revitalating.
Have faith.

Jacob didn’t mean to be an eavesdropper, but he developed the skill with age.
When he had overheard Wilson, so many years ago now, say a few choice comments about Miranda, he just had to go tell her.
When he had heard Yeoman Chambers dip into gossiping about Jack and her traumas, deciding she was through with patient confidentiality for that night, he found himself whipping around the corner to give his thoughts on the matter. It was clear Kelly thought he had gone to bed, if her expression was any hint.
When he had first heard Brynn talking over her omnitool about wanting a baby but needed a surrogate, he approached her a day later and tried to explain he didn’t mean to overhear her- honest!- but he’d be willing to help her find a way, even during the chaos of everything. (Truth be told, he was surprised when she asked if he could be the surrogate. He was half expecting her to pick one of the many scientists she knew, or mention a friend not at their base. It was an honour, really.)
And now, he swears he just heard a laugh that he knows almost too well. Drawn out, snort in the middle, finished off with some curse or insult. Somewhere along the platform. The heels of his boots clacked against the lacquered floor, shifting on the spot. He told himself he didn't need to check, just keep waiting patiently, but it was hard to do so when his ears kept trying to pick up the laugh again through the crowd. Far too many people were making noise. But, Jacob was sure he knew where the laugh came from. Just a bit away from him. It wasn’t that far away, actually. He just needed to get a quick look. If he could just shimmy past a few people, he could check-
