first post.. wow hello void. this is a little more awkward than i thought. i know i should treat this like im writing on paper again in my little taco journal i got from my friend back in elementary, but... idk maybe its the thought that somebody might read this that puts me off. and also the fact that i just.... havent written anything in any sort of journal since i was 16 and making goodbye letters (ToT) what a life

anyway today is a saturday... well its sunday morning at 5am but im riddled with anxiety and cant sleep so :,) im trying to keep my thoughts busy. i work again tomorrow, only six hours which is usual for me, but its fucking -50⁰ where i live rn and I REALLY dont wanna force myself out of bed..... ugh

but ive been really good at never skipping work unless im throwing up all over the place so :,) speaking of that, i just got done being sick with the flu for the SECOND TIME within two months !!!!! i have a horrid immune system.. most of the time when im sick i spend hours rotting away in my bed and on the bathroom floor... these two times were no different

i genuinely was up at like 5am unable to sleep sobbing in my bed because it hurt so much !!! i gen wanted to die lmfao i hate being sick

but its whatever... at least i got to talk to 🍀 while i was high on meds and a 39.8⁰ fever... i said some funny shit but he just entertained me... i love looking back at our messsages.. he really seems to care for me.... crazy

neway yes saturday.. today.. what did i do- well i had work. i was stressing the entire day over being able to get my hw done for uni classes on time but then i just.. decided not to work on it at all. idk.. work was okay. i love working. even though its a a gross fast food restaurant with shady people coming and making a mess 24/7. all that bad cancels out when it comes to my cowokers. ive had so... so so so many people ive loved at this job. people ive loved more than i should and who have left me (WHATS NEW) BUTTT thats a story for another day

well anyway i got to see one of my besties who is always talking about her boy troubles ... i think everyone still thinks im a lesbian there since im not out to them as trans and have a gf 🙃 its kinda funny.. especially with all my male coworkers

who can just goof off and be close to me without the added stress of thinking its going to go anywhere (for the two of us).

anyway. i went home and immediately one of my headmates made himself know... his names nikki and hes... newish? hes been around since august 2023 but just recently showed himself. well we played sky together for a while, just the two of us. i sorta.. soft called out 🍀 on my discord status saying something like "chill cr w/ nikki!! anyone can join!" hoping theyd join my game LOL

well it was a call out to any one of my sky friends on disc (my new friend mochi actually ended up seeing it and we got to talk propery on sky for one of the first times... i was so happy)

i felt bad for 🍀 at first because he couldnt see mochis chat messages while we were having a whole ass conversation with 🍀 piggy on my shoulders... but they added each other a little later and i think the convo went well :)

🍀 's sky friend actually joined us as well.. i dont know her... nor do i really care that 🍀 seemed so close with her (well that was definitely a lie i told myself)

im so jealous LMFAOOOO definitely problems related to being stuck in a toxic friend group for 12 years BUT AGAIN thats a story for another day

anyway i was a bit sad at first because there are just things you cant say in a chat with your queer platonic partner when theres a random who you sort of know but have never personally talked to... so i shut off a bit... nikki tho bless him wtf was like- urging me to stop being so closed off towards sky friends sjhdksjsk especially because this person was really nice and even asked if she could tag along (which i said was fine because i cant say no to anything, no matter how hard i try)

half way through i saw me and 🍀 's mutal friend come online.... ill call him 🌟 on here.... i only recently got to know him because i was online on sky alone and decided to join him.. he was doing quests by himself so i got some 1 on 1 time with him and omg hes so cool

i always have this habit of putting everyone else in an "untouchable" catergory, because everyone compared to me is just so much better. i guess i idolized 🌟 in a way because i never got to talk to him... he was only mutals to me through our sky friend group

anyway after that 1 on 1 i immediately felt so amazing and i wanted to talk to him every chance i get... so after mochi left and he hadnt joined our game (which was suprising because i was with 🍀 and the other person who are close to 🌟 and he likes them a lot better than me so i thought hed join one of them.... but he didnt) so i just went and joined his game immediately

i kinda ditched 🍀 but its whatever, i was still in a bad mood from earlier

i was kinda upset and sad all day so.... i was distant in my head and wasnt talking to anyone.. but that wore off the moment i got the chance to talk to 🍀 again

which was when my dad suprised me with mcdonalds !!! i really felt gross after eating it- and still do- but it helps sometimes. to eat that garbage.. ive always been a binge eater

yea i teleported to 🌟 to hang out with him and 🍀 warped to me... i didnt really mind because theyre both super cool and my idols but i got a dry ass greeting from 🌟 wheres as 🍀 got a enthusiastic one !! so yeah immediately i was like aight i see how it is

but 🍀 left to do a cr so i got more 1 on 1 time with 🌟 WHICH WAS SO NICE!! i feel like we are getting closer and closer everyday... anyway he was playing some music and i offered to stay and listen and it was gen so nice... i wanted to fall asleep just listening to him play hehe and after every song id complement him and we'd talk about what hed just played (if it was from a game or a movie) .... and well he seemed gen grateful for the compliments which made me fill up with pride

eventually 🍀 came back but i didnt really mind since i got my 1 on 1 time and i enjoy talking to both of them anyway

we had a nice convo going then 🌟 left

i always feel so prideful when i can make people laugh, even though it might even just be a lol or hahaha

then me and 🍀 had one on one time... which is what brings me to writing this

he mentioned he had a secret tumblr diary. this isnt the first time he mentioned it- back when we met irl he said if i could find it i could read it.... i tried to find it lol but couldnt so i just gave up

i didnt even think about it again until tonight.... i thought about trying to find it again but then i was like- yk what would be a better idea !!! make my own !!

ok so an okay day, i think writing a blog has unexpectedly made me feel worse about myself. i remember more, but i feel like shit more than usual, but i like writing so im not sure what to do. it sucks. i had history first "the sub" was in today he wanted us to acc learn shit, sooooo boring. Carmite, Emerald and "sapphire" all sat together. i cant remember if i mentioned sapphire but hes one of the boys.

they played a roblox obby in class and they kept getting caught so they decided to take out their calculators and PRETEND, it was so embarassing the sub told them not to go on their phones after 10 minutes of them fake playing on their calculators just for carmite to say "hehe not a phone its a calculator, gottem" it was SO EMBARRASSING. HE SPENT 10 MINS. anyways, granite is gone to tenerife so its just me and diorite for a while.

french was good. yknow that girl bluebird that i talked about yesterday, well she got in trouble for not doing her hw again and like she was talking to the teacher and the teacher had to ask her what three times because she was so quite. some other things but i cant remember. for pe we did badminton because the pitch flooded, me and diorite were partners and we bet 1 other team. i was pretty shit tbh. for lunch diorite bought me a chocolate bar and stole some kinder bars. she talked about how she started feeling guilty last night cuz she stole some stuff from a shop and then she found out that there was only one of them (not family owned but not a corporation). i said i also felt guilty when i did that because i have the resources to pay i just dont like spending money. i dont steal, it was a once off chance and just felt like shitty of me.

for business a bunch of 2nd years were in our seats eating lunch and chatting, they musnt have gotten the message to leave when i thre my bag over them to reach my fucking seat. i had to get the guy in crutches to help me out because i just dont like talking to 2nd years because idk they have a weird vibe. also at lunch coming from the shop me and diorite got swarmed by 1st years we didnt know, and asked us for stuff, they asked me for popcorn and i kinda just ignored them and walked through them, maybe i should have been nicer and given them the rest but also im a hungry hungry hippo. they also knew my friends name?? my friend stopped and gave them kinder bars, on the way to business another first year asked for a kinder bar and she gave it to him, "they really took the worst you can get is a no to heart". it was really funny and sweet though the way they flew to food like bees to pollen. anyways the teacher didnt show up for the first 15 mins in class and it got REAL silent, so a girl in my class decides we need to d icebreakers (the only new person in the class is bluebird, and weve all known each other for a little over 2 years). we have to say our full name then our hobby, im 2nd and i CRUSHED it. i did amazing, we got to every1 and out of like 28 only 4 people didnt do it. in geography i felt rly lonely, sure i got a back seat but at what cost, i didnt have anything to do, i felt like shit, and a group of people played among us and i kinda wanted to aswell but i dindt have it downloaded and i just felt awkward, the worst they can say is no but, they remember that no, it was kinda nice seeing them play but i didnt want them to see me smiling so i did it every rarely. diorite wasnt there becasue they had a music thing, i dont do music cuz i sound like a drowned rat. i then walked to my dads work, stayed in his van for an hour so he could finish work and then went home.

i forgot to mention but 1st class ended 10 minutes early for some reason, and no teachers were told so it was rly confusing, my mom got home 4 hours late from work, her top boss is visiting her work and shes one of the managers so she has to do lots of things, we didnt get dinner till 9 cuz dad had to drive my brother to basketball which he just started. i could have just made dinner myself but also yknow, your supposed to eat the food people cook for you and they were going to cook it was really a matter of when. ive decided to learn portuguese which is really stupid but of well, i can try. i hope i shift tonight, wish me luck xoxo

It was your 9 month anniversary with Keigo, and you could not hold in your excitement when your boss told you could leave work early that day. On your way home you decided that you should get him a gift too, maybe some candy or a cake, since the two of you decided that getting each other anniversary gifts that cant be eaten was just too complicated. 

When you walked into the cake shop, you couldn't help but smile at the memories it brought. Looking over at the booth that you and your boyfriend sat at when you first came here, chuckling at the time he spilled his coffee on his lap, almost getting burned. When it was your turn to order, you quickly ordered the cake you remembered that he liked, and left the shop with the biggest smile on your face.

The walk home seemed to last longer than it usually would. You thought running, but decided that it wouldn’t be good to show up to the house out of breath, and with the cake all bumped around. 

When you finally reached your doorstep, you placed the cake on the floor along with your things and scurried through your bad for the house key. When you finally found it and tried to unlock the door, you noticed it was already unlocked. Confused, you picked all your things up and walked inside. 

Your stomach sunk at the sight of some small shoes sitting sloppily in front of you. As if the person that took them off was doing it in a hurry. You were frozen in place, the thought of another girl being in your house while you weren’t home, making you insanely uncomfortable. 

You walked in further and set the cake on the table. Silence filled your shared apartment, not a sound to be heard. You walked around looking for the owner of the petite shoes, and when you reach your shared bedroom, your heart fell on the floor. 

Keigo was in bed, but not alone. A small girl was lying next to him. And much to your surprise, they both seemed to not have any clothes on. Tears filled your eyes as the situation marinated in your head. 

You stood at the door, frozen in place once again, and quietly called out his name.

“Keigo...” You said brokenly. The sound of your voice stirred him from his sleep, and he opened his eyes to see you standing at the doorway of your room. He immediately shot up from his position with a shocked look on his face. 

“Babe? W-what are you doing back from work so early? You on lunch break or something?...” He said frantically searching for some pants to put on, looking up once and a while to see if you would move from your position, which you didn't. 

You nodded your head slowly, “Y-yeah... boss let me go home early, since I told him it was our anniversary today...”  Your voice was quiet, and he could hear the hurt in your words. Guilt stabbed through his hear when you mentioned that it was your anniversary, he had completely forgotten, making his guilt build up even more. 

“Shit... babe... I-” “Don’t call me that.” You interrupted him, “You cheated on me, and on our anniversary too? Did these 9 months mean nothing to you? Was it all one-sided?” You started bawling, falling to your knees, the pain in your chest felt terrible. It felt like your heart was actually getting torn in half.

“No. It wasn’t. Y/N I love you, please believe me when I say th-” “YOU LOVE ME? THE FUCK KIND OF LOVE IS THIS?” You yelled, the sadness now turning into anger. You stood up and marched towards him. “If you loved me, then what the fuck is she doing in the bed next to you?” You pointed to the now awake girl sitting up with the blanket covering her chest. 

“And you, get the fuck out of my house.” You spat out at her. To which she listened to you and left as soon as possible. Looking back over at Keigo, you wiped the remaining tears out of your eyes and shoved your finger in his chest. 

“You have 30 minutes to pack your things and get out of here.” As you were going to walk away, you felt him grab your wrist. “YN, c’mon let's talk this out!” You could hear the guilt in his voice, but that didn’t mean he didn’t cheat on you. You shook off his wrist and scoffed at his attempt to save himself. “Keigo, save the embarrassment, and just leave...” The tears started to weld up in your eyes again, but you knew to break up with him would be the best choice in the end. 

It was only up from here. 

Not wanting to see the painful sight anymore, you walked out of the room and got your stuff together. You decided you were going to leave without saying a word. The thought of talking to him made your heart ache, you didn’t want to hear any excuse he could come up with. 

Taking one last look at the cake on the counter, you put your shoes on and closed the door behind you. You planned on going to your best friend’s (Asui) house since you couldn't think of anywhere else to go. You moved out here because of him. You’re lucky you were able to make friends at work, you even managed to get a best friend. 

When you got to your Asui's house, you fell into her arms and cried. Understanding your situation, she decided it would be best not to ask you for the details. She tried to get your mind off of things by watching movies and eating your favorite snacks. She also took your phone away so you wouldn't notice how much Keigo had been calling and messaging you.

After a week of living with her, the two of you decided that should go grocery shopping since your food was running low, and you two couldn’t live off of fast food forever. 

While at the store, you two were walking around the aisles getting whatever you needed. As the two of you were walking down the frozen foods aisle, Asui brought up how she wanted to go back and get some more chips, to which you agreed with and asked her to get you some too. When she left, you continued to look around.

A pack of frozen fruit caught your eye, and as much as you tried to reach up, you couldn't reach it. Now, you weren't that short, but that shelf seemed higher than it should've been. As you struggled to get your fruit, a red feather flew by and pushed it down to you. You caught it, and held it in your hands, not wanting to turn around to see the man that made your heart break. 

You felt a hand grab your shoulder and slowly turn you around. Looking at the floor, you saw a pair of familiar black sneakers. They slowly moved closer to you, and you felt the familiar warm brace of your ex-boyfriend. You would be lying to say you didn’t miss it. 

“Y/N... I... I’m so sorry,” he sounded like he was starting to cry as he pressed his head into your neck, “this week... It was so hard without you... please... please can you find it in your heart to forgive me? I missed you so much...” His voice sounded broken. As much as you wanted to decline his request, your heart longed for him, and you just had to give in. 

Tears started to run down your face as you hugged him back. Once he felt your arms wrap around him, he squeezed you tighter. “K-Keigo... I... I missed you too...” Once you muttered out those words, you realized how true they were. 

The moment was interrupted by Asui clearing her throat, making the both of you look over at her. She stood next to your cart tapping her foot with her arms crossed over her chest. When your eyes met hers, you lightly smiled, and she rolled her eyes

“Ugh. You two are idiots.” She walked over to Keigo and shoved a finger in his chest. “If you even think about hurting her again, you’re going to pay for it, bird brain.”

He chuckled at the nickname and nodded. 

“You have my word.”

First Impressions

Shun Kaidou can be an idiot sometimes. There wasn't any denying that fact.

You weren't in his class, so of course he had hardly any clue who you are. So naturally when he saw you in the library, (looking all intimidating in his eyes), he had to find out just who you are.

That actually wasn't hard. All he had to do was walk up to you and attempt to demand who you are.

And, he tried.

He walked right up to you and said something along the lines of "You! Who... Are–What is your– who... what's your name..."

He tried his best, but his words died in his throat when you turned lidded, uninterested eyes his way. You didn't mean to look so cold and uninterested, you just didn't have the time to gague his reactions.

You attempted to lighten your gaze, and put out a little "(L/n)," but Kaidou already made up his mind about you.

His thoughts being "Oh my god what the hell is he trying to do?" And then "wait but they didn't do anything... NO, they must be trying to throw my game off! He's a menace!" It was a hasle. You didn't know you could see someone's thoughts on their face like that, but Kaidou had just proved you wrong.

He simply turned and attempted to make a fast get away, his face becoming progressively more red in the process.

Kaidou's Crush Phase

Denial.

All denial, all the time.

After your first encounter, Shun tried his best to run into you 'on accident.'

You found it weird, and started to find him very... Not charming, if that makes any sense.

When you finally confronted him about it, he just sputtered and said something about you being his rival now.

He, again, said something about rivalry and walked out of the door awkwardly.

He jumped when he turned around. "Sorry for being so unreasonably harsh," you looked to the side. He went red. "Is everything okay?" You asked in an attempt to maintain a calm demeanor.

He just nodded very fast and darted away. While he may he awkward now, he gets better later on.

Kaidou's confession wasn't really a confession.

His form of affection is little things.

Like I mentioned, he'll leave pencils for you if you need them, or organize a playlist for you.

Hell, he'll even let you in on his Dark Reunion business.

When it comes to the 'not really confession,' it's because slowly you just worked up to doing couple stuff.

You are more direct than he is, so you were the one to tell him how you felt.

You said something like "Can we just start officially dating already?"

Hmm oof i am probably not the best person to be asking this cause I dont write fics or anything but I’ll do my best

So i realized that i just wrote plot stuff but im posting anyway cause i spent way too long on this ahaha

Khun would be that subtle overprotective boyfriend 

He’d just kinda silently watch from afar but he’d totally kill anybody who hurt bam in any way, shape, or form

But he’d like be SUPER sweet with bam like

Pet names yall PET NAMES like khun and bam would prob both mutually melt when they call each other pet names

Khun would always help bam with hw and whatnot, let’s pretend bam’s a physics genius cause thats just how i imagine him in modern life, always has trouble with law class (he’s  taking it just for khun so he can understand what khun’s talking about) so khun helps him

Khun would be a super smooth talker, can woo a n y b o d y, exceptional at speeches, captain of speech and debate team

Khun would never admit he’s jealous but like the whole gang would know (except for bam who’s clueless as usual) 

Like bam is friendly with everybody so khun’d just be like ugh screw yall

this is Midway School of Science and Technology calling to inform you, you’ve missed 13 consecutive school days and if you miss 2 more you’ll be at risk of failing your courses and we will have to send police over to do a wellness check. We hope to see you in school tomorrow. Have a great day

So it’s been 13 days. You haven’t left your house in 13 fucking days. You’re beginning to smell yourself, you haven’t bathed or showered since the night everything went down. You just lay in bed, watching whatever black and white shows playing on MeTV at the time. You only eat about once a day, when reciting old life insurance commercials begins to hurt your brain. Your phone died a long time ago and you’re just now listening to the messages in your home phone.

You click delete on the message and let the next one play.

hey y/n, uh it’s Brad. Look i know you hate me but you haven’t been at school and nobodies heard from you so I just wanna make sure you’re okay. I do care about you and i wanted to say-

Your hand dangled over the delete button before you sighed deeply. May never did anything to you, but how were you gonna pull it together enough to get to her. You were exhausted all the time, even if you never do anything. You looked at the time and date on your home phone and realized it’s Wednesday. You sigh deeply and pick up your home phone to call May. 

ring ring ring

“Y/n! Hey honey, how are you?” Mays voice sings through the phone and for a moment the world seems a little brighter. 

“Hey May,” You croak out, you havent spoken in almost 2 weeks and your throat hurts. “I’m not doing well May, everything hurts and I cant even get out of bed. I cant go to school, or eat or sleep or shower May I hate this. I hate it.” Your already raspy voice breaks into sobs and you wonder if she can even understand what youre saying. 

“I’m on my way y/n, its gonna be okay. I love you and I’ll see you in 10 minutes.” May speaks strongly before hanging up the phone. You do nothing but change pajamas and grab a bag of chips before moving back into your bed and wait for May. 

It’s not long before May is knocking and slowly opening your front door. 

She looks at you with tears in her eyes before walking over and oulling you into a hug. It feels weird to have human contact but you dont pull away, just allow her to cuddle you. 

“Lets get you a bath, I’ll help you wash your hair.” She smiles lightly before pulling you up and towards the bathroom.

 You sit on the toilet while she gets the water and bubbles ready. Once its ready she turns away while you strip down and step in, letting your body sink into the hot water and lavendar bubbles. She immediately picks up water in a cup and pours it over your head, careful to not let it spill in your eyes, shes treating you like a mother treats an infant but you dont have the capacity to stop her. You sit in silence for a while as she brushes through the mats in your hair until you decide to speak up. 

“May? Does he love me?” You croak out

She chuckles lightly before answering. 

“When I first met Ben, I knew right away I loved him. He swept me away without knowing it. It was instant love, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The way he looked at me made the world disappear and I knew it was the kind of love they write books about. The kind of love that turns rainy days from gloomy to comfy, turns blistering heat into warmth and fun, Ben turned everything into a fairytale effortlessly. 

When you and Peter were in the 7th grade, and we threw him the birthday party, that youd planned most of, I remember looking at Ben and he was looking at me with the fairytale look. Ya know the one all the hot actors do in movies. Anyway, he was giving me that look and when I turned my head and watched you give Peter his present, I saw him give you the look, and you gave it right back it was precious. After that, everyday I saw you standing with Peter, he looked at you with the fairytale look, When he talks about you its with the same adoration he talks about Ben. 

There is no doubt in my mind Peter loves you with every bone in his super body, y/n. You’re young and he can be a bit niave sometimes but he loves you unconditionally honey. You love him more than he loves you and he loves you more than you love him.” She stops brushing my hair and without a word begins washing my body with bodywash. I didnt even realize I had started crying until I saw a tear fall into the tub.

“I love him May. I feel like I need him to breathe, to live. I just dont understand how he could choose her over me.” 

“Because hes a teenage boy and sometimes he doesnt think about what hw has, hes just like his uncle ben i’ll tell you that. You need to talk to him, maybe not now but soon, you need to tell him everything in your brain until its empty and your throat hurts from talking, and he will listen until his ears are sore from listening and his head hurts from understanding. Now, come get dressed and I’ll order us some pizza” May shakes her hands and drys them while handing you a fluffy towel. 

She spends the rest of the night, telling you about this season of the Bachelorette while she helps you clean and do laundry. 

“Thank you May.” You hug her as she grabs her purse to leave. 

“Anything for you baby,” She kisses your head and wavees goodbye. You take a deep breathe and walkback to your room, plugging in your phone to charge. 

After a few minutes it turns back on and slowly notifications start coming in, texts and calls and emails and dms from people and your old friends. You clear them all and head for you contacts, you find Peters name and decide to text instead of call.

You sigh and begin writing down everything you need to talk about, until you hear a knock on your window. You shakily stand up move towards your window, opening it and taking a step back.

“Hi” Peter whispers with his hands in his pockets.

“Hi” You whisper back.

“What’d you uh wanna talk about” Peter asks, slowly bouncing on the ball of his feet.

“Uh okay, um please sit. So um, as you probably know i haven’t been to school in a minute and uh that’s because ive been laying in my bed depressed and confused. May come over today and she helped a lot and she convinced me to talk to you about everything and that’s what i’m doing so I just need you to listen to everything in gonna spill out and i’m gonna do my best to make everything make as much sense as possible.” You look to Peter for confirmation and continue when he nods quickly.

“Okay uh first, I wanna say I’m sorry, for everything. For Brad, for ignoring you and yelling at you and for being a shitty friend. You were right about Brad and i’m sorry I didn’t listen to you, I just wanted so bad to be wanted ya know? I was feeling so insecure about you loving me that I ran to the first person that showed interest in me. I’m also sorry i basically ditched you guys for him, i just couldn’t look at any of you without feeling nearly sick. But i miss my best friends and I miss you Peter.

I’ve known since we were children that you were special to me. I always assumed it was one sided because I’d seen you go after other girls so i felt like there was no way you could ever love me as much as i love you, but I know now that you do, or did or do i don’t know but I do know that for me, you’re everything I need. We’re soulmates Pete, I can feel it. I feel deep in my heart that the universe made us just to be together and being without you would be to deny the universe herself and who am i? I need you so much when you aren’t around me i can barely breathe and a part of me is missing. I love you unconditionally and I always have.

What you did with Mj killed me, shattered my heart because I felt like once again, you chose her over me, your bestfriend and girlfriend and I hated that feeling each time I got it. The night i broke up with you I cried until my head hurt to much to stay awake, i felt stupid for thinking you wanted me more than her and I understood it. I looked at Mj and it felt like a no brained to pick her but it still never felt right. I know you didn’t mean it and we’re still so young peter. We’re basically kids trying to form a life long relationship and we don’t know what we’re doing. I don’t know how or what i’m going to do but I wanna be with you peter. I would have to take it slow of course but that’s where i’m at with us. So um yea.” You let out a sigh of relief of getting everything off your chest. You look away from Peter and wipe the tears that had fallen during your mini speech.

“I love you. I do. So much. Ever since our breakup i’ve been planning and wondering how to get you back. I felt lost without you and I never wanted you to feel less than. You’re perfect in every way y/n. You’re my oxygen and MJ is honestly just a friend. She could never make me feel the way you make me feel. We’ve got May and Ben type of love babe I swear we do. It was a stupid mistake but of you give me another chance I promise I will spend the rest of my life proving to you you mean the world to me and i will choose you again and again. I love you y/n and i want you to always know that.” Peter speaks through tears as he pulls your body close to his. He whispers how much he loves you against your temple as you break down and sob into his chest.

“Can you stay the night?” You whisper up at him.

“Will you let me take you out? Friday?” He looks hopefully at you. You smile lightly and bite your lip.

“Yes.”

“Then yes. I’ll stay with you” He kisses your forehead once more, before pulling you both under the covers to cuddle into you fall asleep to the beat of peters heart.

she’s such a sweetie pie i dont see her intentionally teaching lev the incorrect translations for stuff- so yes,

with the power of google and tumblr i present to you: lev walking around like an idiot :) (i love him v much tho and hes baby all the way) 

okay lets start with the “basics” 

first off is хуй (pronounced: hooy), and it means dick 

omg i what am i writing 

okay so like, yaku probably does something nice for alisa (meaning he puts lev in check bc lev is stoopid)

and alisa decides to thank him like “you have such a big hooy yaku~~” 

and everyone on nekomas vbc team looks at the two siblings like ????? what did she just say 

and lev looks at her and she goes “hooy means heart!!” 

omfg not only lev, but all of nekoma is using this word now and its so bad bc they all say it so confidently whose gonna tell them- 

and like, whenever someone does anything remotely nice lev will tell them that they “have such a big hooy” and that they are so kind and that he appreciates them 

which ultimately, this term rubs off on karasuno and fukorodani (specifically hinata and bokuto) 

quite literally a term that spreads like wildfire and they all use it so mindlessly eye- 

okay, next term: Трахни тебя (pronounced: poshyol ty), and it means: fuck you (omg i hate writing swears bc lev is involved and he is BABY I CANNOT-) 

okay but alisa and lev are most likely parting ways early in the morning, and he is going to a summer week camp for vb practice (w the boys ayyy) omg i hate myself so much 

but like, she probably wants to say something along the lines of “i love you” but she ends up saying fuck you (dw, i checked and its the aggresive kind, no not the kinky aggresive just straight up like a screw you) pls i hate that im making this more awkward by the second 

okay but like, hes probably leaving in the morning and shes like “poshyol ty” and he kind turns back, confused look on his face 

and hes like “whats that mean????” and shes like, with a bright smile, “it means I LOVE YOU” and he repeats it a few times

and this poor bby uses this ALL the mcfreaking time now

yaku is abt to kick him? “pls stop poshyol ty” 

kuroo wants to give him shit for sucking at blocking? “im sorry but dont forget poshyol ty” 

omg KENMA WHEN HES MAD “kenma im so sorry youre the best pls poshyol ty” 

so it probably circulates around the team, and by now all of the nekoma vbc are using this on one another ALL the time

again, its something picked up by other teams 

i.e: bokuto to akaashi, hinata to kags, and it even reaches oikawa, who uses it on iwa, satori to ushijima (bye these r ships) 

but finally, poor alisa thought that by saying Отыебис от меныа (pronounced: otyebis ot menya) she was saying “your presence is nice” but in reality she was saying “get the fuck away from me” 

omg pls this is so terrible someone tell her-

but like anyways, when she says it so him, its when hes upset bc the whole team is upset at him bc he almost made the team lose

aka putting them at risk for his shitty blocking skills

and hes like “no one likes me, no one wants to be around me” 

and alisa is like: “hey, otyebis ot menya, and if its from me, they even appreciate you too :)”

and he asks her to explain the meaning to him and shes like “it means i appreciate your presence” 

and so he cheers up, and goes to practice the next day

and he apologises to everyone and then goes, “as much as i suck otyebis ot menya” 

like ????? and everyone appreciates it!! like >.< omg i hate this 

but in general, another phrase that spreads like wildfire!! 

at this point, everyone thinks hes a sweetheart (and dumbass) whos using loving terms with his team and friends!!

now, onto the “swear words” 

which, in reality, are words/phrases with positive meanings :( 

ah i really hope someone tells everyone wassup w these terms

but, lets start w this beautiful term: Я верю в тебя (pronounced: ya veryu v tebya)

this means: i believe in you (and reader, i believe in you, you can do anything you put your mind as long as it doesnt harm you or anyone)

but anyways, this is probably a term that slips out during a fight btwn the two siblings

is it weird that i cant imagine them fighting often, or at all- 

okay anyways, back to the hc

theyre probably fighting about how lev left his dirty laundry in the br after the shower, or how he left his dishes on the dining table and how he isnt necessarily cleaning up after himself

and shes tired of it, so she starts yelling at him

and shes like “oh my god! youre so useless! veryu v tebya” 

and he kinda stops saying anything back and stares at her c o n f u s e d

and shes like ?? whatre you looking so lost for

and hes like, what does that mean

and shes like, it means that you arent capable of anything. 

so this poor boy thinks that the term “i believe in you” now means “you arent capable of anything” 

when kenma, kuroo, and yaku treat him a little meaner on a bad day, he’ll be sure to mumble it under his breathe

when he blocks hinata’s spike, hes sure to yell it out proudly, and everyone kinda is like ???? 

and so he explains what it means, and 

hinata isnt phased by the fact that lev just called him incapable bc poor bby got to learn another russian phrase 

and then kenma puts two and two together and realizes what levs been calling him

*insert a mad kenma* 

*insert a mad kuroo*

*insert a mad yaku* 

okay but srsly the whole nekoma vbc starts using this term to clown lev when he messes up!!

in reality, everyones the clown bc theyre using the wrong term altogether

another term lev would learn from alisa, would be Мой милый ангел (pronounced: moy miliy angel) 

and what alisa thinks it means is : you are not an angel/youre a fallen angel/youre the devil 

bc like some languages dont have a term for something, so they use another term and then the word not in front of it, so alisa assumes thats what it is 

so she just assumes this word is something to call someone a devil or basically imply theyre a bad person 

this term slips out from alisa, when someone says a comment about lev during a game, 

ooooo lets say the nekoma vs. nohebi game to make it to nationals 

and someone says something along the lines of lev being a terrible blocker

from across the court

and out of nowhere 

alisa is like “hes better than you! moy miliy angel” 

poor bby thought she was defending her brother

okay she was but still- 

you know what i mean 

but anyways, everyone looks at her 

and she just shrugs it off bc she doesnt owe anyone an explanation

but after the game, yaku’s younger sister brings it up in front of them

and she explains to everyone that it means a devil 

and theyre all like ?? 

alisa saying something mean- this is new

but in her defense it was bc she was standing up for her brother

as she should- 

but on a real note, lev adopts this term to roast people during plays and makes them confused hehehe their faces r funny bc they get so lost and bam nekoma scores

a term that kageyama adopts

he expands his vocab when hes mad at hinata from boke, to boke and moy miliy angel 

tanaka probably uses this term on people who piss him off

imagine him saying it w his buddha face LMAO

but lastly, a term that lev would learn from alisa is Радость моя

this term is pronounced as radost moya

it means “my joy” 

so, when alisa is stressing over something (maybe hw, maybe over the fact that lev keeps making a fool of himself in front of yakus sister) 

she’s like muttering under her breath, 

“this is gonna be the death of me, ugh why is this radost moya“ 

like LMAO she thinks this term means terrible, or my bad luck

no sweetie its the opposite

its just so funny, lev hears her and she explains the term

so he begins to use it all the time

and i mean ALL THE TIME

when he cant block? radost moya. when someone reminds him that he isnt the ace? radost moya. 

so, when bokuto is in emo mode, lev is like radost moya, its just bl (ha if your mind went to boy-) bad luck

and bokuto is immediately out of his emo mode bc he is LEARNING a new term from his fave russian teacher uwu

but again, a term that spreads like wild fire

this is what kags calls hinata, iwa to oikawa, and semi to shirabu

overall, alisa teaching lev incorrect russian phrases, is lev teaching the whole of anyone who plays volleyball ever incorrect russian phrases

these humans look like straight up clowns 

i CaNnOt emphasize how dumb they look- 

basically just becomes a crack fest

bonus (kinda-): 

lev, kenma, kuroo, tsuki, kags, akaashi, bokuto, yams, and yaku all went to the fish market one day

they all witness kuroo, bokuto, lev and hinata do something stupid with their shared one brain cell

so, naturally, the others flame them in russian

and someone nearby is like 

“aww its so sweet you believe them,, your friendship is so cute“

queue the whole crew (ugh i hate that term but its better than squad) turning to look towards lev

Like taking something thats considered kinky but not really is just glorious. I really want to write a thing that I consider is part of a headcannon but its considered pre-relationship in SQH's case but like the beginning of it in MBJ's opinion (these two need to work on communication. So this is a short real life story imma bout to tell u.

It starts friday, jun 14. I live in ohio and i drove about 50 miles (mostly hw) to a mall to get a fathers day gift for my step dad and also check Barnes and Noble for Good Omens. (found it btw^^) and while i was there i decided to look st my tires. last time i hsd been to the mechanic they said they were gettin bad and i ordered some and get them on next week. but i was about to make a 90+ mile drive to columbus for Pride and didnt want a blow out.

one tire was bad. like real bad. so i ended up driving my moms car the following day to go to pride. (side note i drive a chevy sonic, this little compact car. she has a dodge charger. it felt like driving a tank 8o)

anyways her only request was fill up the gas i used. no probs no biggie i got it. so i went to pride (hoping to maybe meet som1? ❤ but didnt. it rained a lot xp but i got some cute stuff XD)

omw back i stopped in huber to get gas at speedway bc it was $2.32 a gallon. damn card reader wuldnt read my card (plus it wss a weird angle to stick n so wtf?) i was angry and said id stop at udf in englewood. y udf? idrk XD

so i get off the hw n englewood and think "maybe ill get gas at meijer and get starbucks too" but somthing pushed me away. said go ti udf. i wss set on udf. so i get there, get gas. and decide to grab a pop. mind u I NEVERA go n to get a pop at gss stations, just dont. not that i have somthin against it i just never do. they had slushies so i was excited.

then i saw them. trying to get my attention. i think it was abt my shirt "witch please i'm bihexual" that i got last halloween (thanks @writing-prompt-s !) but omg they were CUTE somthing clicked. i had to meet them.

but my shyness kicked n and there were customers evrywhere and they were one of 2 cashiers and i didnt think to get n their line and just left after checkout cuz im stupid and a mess who cant flirt XD

so my dad asked me to go to church for fsfhers day, and i was gonna stop after but had2get home quick to go see my gpa so had2stop at udf earlier than planned. they wernt there. i was disappointed but if it worked iut how i wanted maybe itd b diff. idk.

not saying boy would be full ‘in charge’ but I think he can really be confident in his feelings once he's confident in himself

SO i wrote this because there are too many ‘soft boy nongnong doesn’t know how to relationship’ or ‘too shy to tell you how he feels uwu’

welp im here to show a little more forward but still sweet nongnong

so buckle up cause i got real into this

okay, nongnong would probably fall in love with you from a far or being he's met you in group settings but never really had a one on one conversation with you

but he sees how cute your mannerism is when it comes to how you laugh with your friends or how you light up when you talk about something you're really passionate towards.

in the end you constantly beat yanjun for first while he gets second and nongnong is just content with his stable 5th or 6th place because seeing your little victory dance and teasing of yanjun as you win everytime is enough for nongnong to feel like he's won

cause w o w he never knew he could come across someone as adorable as you

okay but that's just the surface of you guys path's crossing

you and zhangjing are best friends

but zhangjing and nongnong always get food before their history class so they can cram/get hw done last minute

zhangjing eats your food whenever he comes over your place

that damn freeloader

but you'll never actually stop him, rather you see opportunities for future food purchases from him.

so you're hungry as heck one day after class and you have no money

that's when you see your best friend rushing into one of the food places on campus

you pull out the receipts and he cant find an excuse so he reluctantly buys you food

you guys meet up with nongnong after and you recognize him

nongnong, getting to know you fell in love with you even more and just really loved being around with you even tho you guys never spent time alone.

time was always spent together with either yanjun or zhangjing and he doesnt think he has any courage to even be in the same room with you alone

yanjun and zhangjing have figured out nongnong's painful obvious crush and try to help him out

zhangjing as your best friend definitely approves of nongnong cause at least he's a good kid unlike the flirt yanjun is

but anyway yanjan and zhangjing have enough of pinning nongnong and tell him he should just confess or you and his relationship will never change

he knows but he's scared

he's never dated let alone have his first kiss

he thinks its sad cause he's in college but relationships were never something he really sought out till he meet you

he never had his heart quicken so fast for someone, feel his stomach in constant knots or felt lost for words like this until he meet you

you caused all these bubbly feelings in him and he couldn't stand it, he had to tell you

nongnong decides to ask you to come over and hangout that weekend

yanjun gets kicked out but its okay cause him and zhangjing decide to hangout and spam nongnong cause they want all the updates

“yo 10 bucks he kisses her” zhangjing says while they wait for nongnong to text back

“pfft he won't do it”

“wow, doubting our nongnong”

“yeah I'm not even sure he'll go through with telling her”

“oh, if you're so sure how about raising the stakes and buy me whatever meal i want if im right”

little does yanjun know, zhangjing is your best friend and he knows you

so you actually have a thing for nongnong too you’re just better at hiding it

like nongnong, you fell from the little interactions and observations

you thought it was endearing to see him always try and lighten up the mood when someone was down

or how he'd remember little things like yanjun and zhanjings favorite foods or drinks so he could get some for them when they seem to be down, eventually even doing this for you too

he gave you thoughtful advice and help when you needed it from someone besides your best friend

that weekend you get to his dorm and at first its very awkward

but nongnong tries super hard to lighten the mood by telling you funny stories about yanjun or doing silly things

you guys break out in laughter after listening to nongnong's story about how yanjun got a girls number only to give him a Chinese take out number and when he asked again about the ‘wrong number’ she gave him a different take out place

“I can't believe he asked again after she gave him a fake number the first time!” you laugh

“you gotta admit though it's clever she had another take out number on hand for the 2nd time”

you two are a mess of giggles and have closed the space there was previously between you 2 on the couch when you first got there

you didn't know when the two of you got so close but you and nongnong had your legs and arms brushed up against each other

every so often you would lean into nongnong's shoulders while you were in your laughing fits

and nongnong took notice to the distant and could literally feel his heart popping out of his chest

you obviously noticed the distance as well cause oh boy his smile from this close and his laugh humming in your ears made it feel like you were gonna die from how much it filled you up with this warm feeling

up close you notice little things like the cute mole right below his nose or the sweet but minty scent that probably comes from his shampoo or cologne

you both kinda come to a calm and eventually stop laughing

your eyes meet and that's when the heat rises into your cheeks and the butterflies in your stomach run loose cause his gaze into your eyes is so gentle looking

“hey y/n”

you die a little inside cause you've never heard him ever call out your name so softly like that

its timid and delivered sweetly like it was something fragile on the tip of his tongue but had a hint of fearfulness to it.

“y-yes” catching you off guard

he catches his breath

“I like you”

you kinda look at his serious expression and you're a little too shocked to say anything

nongnong sees the shock in your face and starts to panic

“oh god um- I didnt mean to scare you or anything but i just couldn't wait any longer to tell you cause you looked so cute so i just had to tell you- but it was so abrupt what was I thinking, you don't have to answer or a matter of fact you can just pretend this didnt happen if you wan-”

“I like you too!”

his panic halts and you see the visible red as his face heats up

“you do????”

“yes, I've actually liked you for awhile now”

cue nongnong's redness to increase tenfold and he breaks into that signature smile

“so does that mean if i asked you to be my girlfriend you'll say yes???”

you giggle out a ”mhm”

 and he's so happy he pulls you into a hug and you both break out into giggles

f i n a l l y  he could hold the big cutie that you were and call you his

nongnong holds you for quite some time while telling you how cute you are and goes on to list what makes you adorable

“the way your voice perks up with you get nervous or the way your giggle sounds so cuteeee” he goes on and you're heavily embarrassed

“nongnongggg please noooo” you're blushing so hard from the compliments you might actually die

he then lets you go and stops with the listing before he brings a hand to your cheek.

he runs circles with his thumb against your cheek and smiled ever so brightly

“im sorry its just- I've fallen so hard for someone as precious as you.”

man you're seriously gonna die from the sweetness of this boy

you then proceed to spend the rest of the night talking about when you started to like each other and finding that personalness you guys missed out on cause you never got the chance to hangout alone until today

later when you get ready to leave for the night nongnong stops you outside his door

“wait y/n before you go, can I hold you for a bit?”

but in reality you just nod yes shyly before he pulls you into a hug where his big frame just sallows you up

hes so warm and sweet smelling when your face kinda presses into his chest

it’s the sheer definition of comfort and warmth and you never want to leave

once he lets go you wince a little cause the pleasant feeling of his embrace disappears

but before he entirely pulls away he plants a little kiss on your forehead

“goodnight y/n”

you say the same and you walk off literally stumbling and disoriented cause he's so precious your heart cannot comprehend it, you’re soft from this precious boy

nongnong probably texts yanjun and zhangjing in a group chat later that night

’guys i did it! I told her and now we're dating!!!’

zhangjing: ‘okay cool but did you kiss her???’

linong: ‘on her forehead i did’

zhanjing: ‘IT COUNTS, I CALLED IT’

yanjun: ‘FUCK'

yanjun’s wallet is then screwed

anyway after all this your relationship takes off

it starts out a little awkward but you guys start to adjust in time

Nongnong is constantly shy as heck when it comes to pda and holding your hand and thats all he can handle in front of other people

he can barely do that tho when yanjun and zhangjing constantly tease

but even though he's not blatant with his affection in public he’s still someone who tries to give subtle touches

to quick back rubs if you're walking side by side to when your arm rest on tables while you study he’ll lightly squeezes them while you work

he's tends to have trouble knowing what right words to say if you're upset or mad but is a great listener

he doesn't tend to get upset as easily as you would but when he does its a pretty big deal to you

he tries his best to not let any of his ill emotion get to him or let it out on you

and he tells you how he feels but often is really reluctant to talk unless you give him lots of convincing

he even likes to put on a smile for you like he's okay but you can tell he's not

he lets it build up so when he spills to you his feelings he tends to cry and holds on to you like his life depends on it

It’s hard for him to always keep a happy face so he really values these times

your touch and warmth calms him down when he breaks down like that

his affection maybe hard to convey in public but he lives for your embrace when it's just you 2

at first he always asked if it was okay to hug you or hold your hand

he wants to make sure you're comfortable

but you guys get to the point where he doesn't have to ask but naturally he just intertwines your fingers with his or cuddles up to you when you'd be sitting on the couch or his bed alone together

now kissing is a different story

at first he could only give you kisses on the forehead or your temple

progressively he started getting bolder sneaking pecks on the cheek or even lips (he apologized probably the first time he randomly kissed you on the lips but you gave him a quick kiss back and he died)

he constantly gives soft pecks because long kisses aren't something you have done yet

until one day

you're sitting on his couch watching a show when he nudges you a bit

you look at him and he moves in to plant small kisses on your forehead, to your nose your cheek and then softly your lips

doing this makes you giggle and he loves it to bits

Nongnong is gentle with kisses

kissing you so delicately like you'll break under his touch

he plants a soft kiss on your lips doing it again and again and again before the soft but fleeting kisses stop and he just doesn't pull away while kissing

he keeps his position and presses his lips onto yours just as delicately but it's far more passionate then the quick kisses from before

you're a little shocked cause you wouldn't expect him to kiss you like this but nevertheless it didn't stop you from kissing back

he presses into your lips slowly and tenderly while bringing his hands up to cup your face

the kiss is long but never rough just soft and sweet

you pull away and he's dazed before he can really comprehend what he did

“oh.” slips your mouth

“oh?”

“that was uh…”

“was it bad?”

“no it was good, um really good”

he lights up

long soft kisses are now your new killer 

especially when you’re caught off guard he tends to do them the most

He usually doesn’t try to get you flustered but he wants to do it once in a while

so he loves how flustered they get you because of the kisses and definitely plans on doing them more

TIME CRUNCH STUDYING TIPS. (BECAUSE SOME HOW IM ALWAYS LIKE THIS????? WTF)

1. TRY TO RELAX, the worst you can do for yourself is worry your time away. Take the time to calm yourself down. An hour or two at the long time, sleeping, or jotting down why your worried. What your most afraid of will help a lot. Please do take the time to make sure your in the right head space before you start studying. Check in on yourself from time to time. 

take this from me who regularly spends 2 hours crying about each exam I have to study for, Seriously, If you’re stressed enough that you need to cry about it. Handle it early, You don’t need it while you’re 15 mins away from starting the exam. 

Seriously, been there, done that. Its horribly, painfully awkward. Tears are flowing from your face and gosh dammit everyone’s just helpless to the salt rolling down your cheeksThink of it this way would you rather condense all your worries into one hour of INTENSE LETS JUST LET IT ALL OUT or spread across your studies while your constantly second guessing why you cant do a problem or what you’re doing wrong. 

2. start with the practice midterm. Does your professor have one? DO THAT DO THAT DO THAT. if you can afford solving the problems do that. If not

Spend about 2 mins looking at the question, mentally go through the steps. THEN JUMP TO THE SOLUTIONS AND I WANT YOU TO REWRITE ALL OF IT, MEMORIZE IT. 

Kant has this thing where he says for every action you should decide If you can a universal maxim about it. Same thing, see if there are any basic steps you can extrapolate from that that you can use as a UNIVERSAL HOW TO for each problem. Write that down. 

If you don’t have a practice midterm, GO SEARCH FOR ONE BISCUIT, 

Practice midterms are the quickest ways to figure out your weak points out are and overview the entire material being tested 

You might say: NO I SHOULD SAVE IT AND SEE MY PREPARED NESS, but No bruh, love yourself, Get the panic I REALLY DONT KNOW ANYTHING out of the way first. Seriously, it’ll be better. Also, if you had that kinda time, you would’ve started WEEKS BEFORE, you have HOURS

Key terms, past exams from the same uni using class codes, professor websites, mutual friends, friendly upper class man, cross reference for similar classes with similar levels at other institutions, Secret agent spy that shit. FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR WEAKEST POINTS ARE, DIVIDE TIME ACCORDINGLY 

3.Quality over quantity, but hit everything in quick succession 

But also divide importance. Do you really NEEED to know how to solve SPECIAL PROBLEM TYPE X ? You have 6 hours, bruh no, 

Figure out what the general problem types, hit questions you know that will show up, Brush up the ones that you know best., SKIP SPECIAL CASES, you can gloss over them but its not a priority

4.Don’t Bother Reading the text book

Copy a few theorems and definitions, beat those into your brain, but FUCKING JUST DO PROBLEMS

You’ll build intuition

5. THROW YOUR MORALS AWAY

COPY SOLUTIONS ON HW TO PREPARE FOR AN EXAM IS NOT CHEATING

If you can’t solve a problem, copy the solution, own it, dissect it, 

Like cut it up like that poor dead frog you had to desecrate in high school. Cut it until its a pile of brown mushy goo and looks nothing like a frog. 

6.Power Nap

7.meditate a bit if you can. It seems stupid at first but it’ll get better with time. 

8.music, I like to start with really loud and active music. (Cause im not really awake or focused at the start. A combo of KPOP (big bang,EXO, BTS, G Dragon) or Pop punk (Fall out boy) depending on how well I focus. And then gradually move into more instrumental music, like marvel OST, Harry Potter, instrumental etc.

9.cold turkey (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the love of god turn off your social media apps while you study YOU WILL WANT TO DISTRACT YOURSELF SO PLEASE TURN THAT OFF) 

10.Please focus on the positives. Focus on the fact that you are studying rather than how much you haven’t studied enough. Learning is learning and doing less than you want is still doing something. Anything and everything your doing right now is valuable. 

11.Try to have some fun. Life’s all good, grades aren’t everything. They really only matter when they hit you in the face like a throw away soccer ball, (this happens more times than I’d like to admit lmfao), your resume, and when you gotta show the rents. But after that, really not at all? Don’t let it dominate your life 24/7 they already take so much from you

12.Be happy or at least pretend to be and maybe you can attain it.  

13.Keep a clock on you, its great for competitive spirit. Knowing how much time you have left to do a task MAKES You want to work faster. 

14.You gain focus over time. Maybe start small, like try to focus for 15 mins and take a break for 5 mins. Then increase to 20 mins. Take a break for 10 mins. After that try working in 50 min work /10 min break intervals

15.I love watching study with me videos while I work. (Recommended youtubers: StudyTee and study quill. ITs a way to get distracted and motivated at the same time

16.Move around in your break. Take a walk, contemplate life. Seriously don’t stay in your desk. Also drink water before you start working again. 

17,Don’t worry about not being able to solve a question before the midterm. What matters right now is that you learn how to do the problem. IT ONLY COUNTS WHEN ITS DURING THE MIDTERM. 

Lastly, good luck, try to give yourself some sleep if you can. IF you can work through an exam with an all nighter under your belt, then that works too. But please know your limits and don’t push them. When your at the exam, divide your time well, focus on what you do. Fall back on basic routines for problems you don’t know how to do. when you exit the exam don’t poke at what you did wrong. You did what you could given your time crunch. Please focus on letting it go. You were awesome! You did the impossible! And I’m proud of you.

I get feeling the show has ruined Izzy,simon and clary.but why has the show ruined Maia,Alec and Luke for you?

Under the cut for negative opinions on the show’s handling of these characters. If you dont wanna read it, scroll past, any anon trolls that might pop up will be deleted.

My issue with Alec has always been for the most part in how he’s written in his relationship with Magnus. I admit a certain amount of bias comes into play here because I love Magnus and any time someone fucks him over (or the narrative fucks him over in favour of someone else) I end up wanting to scratch that character’s eyes out. Alec has done some pretty shitty things to Magnus in canon - the DNA thing, the SS lie, the lashing out at him at the beggining of s02, his behaviour after they broke up, his behaviour in the s03 finale just the other day. Now these things in themselves arent the problem. It’s not like I expect Alec to be perfect, nor do I want him to be. But the lack of consequences and/or developing/changing his attitude and learning to grow and be better is what lead to my dissatisfaction with Alec.

Let’s just go over the big ones real quick:

1) when Jace is with Valentine in s02 Alec tries to emotionally blackmail Magnus into helping him (”Why cant you do this one thing after everything I’ve done for you”) -> yes, he “apologizes” later but the way the narrative framed that scene it made it look like he was only doing it so Magnus would relent and help him anyway

2) the DNA thing - mere days after Magnus is tortured at the hands of the Clave, Alec decides to follow Clave orders and ask for a DNA sample -> again later on goes to “apologize” but again the scene is off because Alec apologizes for the wrong thing and doesnt seem to have learnt anything as a result because then we have:

3) the Soul Sword accident - again Alec follows Clave orders and lies to Magnus, his boyfriend, the “love of his life” about something that can literally kill him and every other DW in NYC -> worst still when confronted with this he acts condenscending and accusing Magnus of overreacting and being silly (not his exact words but that was the implication) -> doesnt apologize for any of this, only keeps saying sorry I didnt tell you which by this point doesnt carry much weight for me. He doesnt seem guilty or like he regrets his decisions in the aftermath, even after Magnus breaks up with him

And then there is the outside of canon issue with the way the writers consistently write Alec within their relationship as really passive and... not that emotionally invested? I’m not sure how to describe it but like just compare his I cant live without him lines when it was about Jace and when it was about Magnus and you’ll see what I mean. And when you compare this with how invested Magnus is, how far he’s proven he’s willing to go for Alec and has actually done it, meanwhile I have no reason to believe Alec would do the same for him and that pisses me off like nothing else.

Maia, oh Maia. This is probably the biggest disappointment I’ve had this season, next to the dropped plot line about Magnus’s HW position. It’s not so much Maia as a character that I dislike as what the writers did to her. First they made her into a Luke cheerleader with no reason or rhyme last season when she had legit points about Luke’s crappy alpha leadership and she was absolutely right to call him out on it... then they apparently decides they’ll give this role to Russell because Maia will be too busy dating Simon.

And then they had the balls to make her a main character only to waste her completely on doing nothing but being Simon’s oh so loving and supportive girlfriend (while at the same time hyping up Simon/Izzy and knowing full fucking well they were gonna go there sooner rather than later) and just when it looked like she might get to do something on her own when Jordan showed up? They.wrote.her.out. Just like that! What bullshit is this, I ask???

And lastly, Luke. My problem with him is probably the most straightforward - I dont like how he keeps putting shadowhunters before his pack. He’s supposed to be the alpha of these werewolves, to take care of them, he’s part of the DW now  for what? 20 years already yet he keeps acting like a shadowhunter who cares only for the well-being of other shadowhunters. Now I get that Simon and Clary are important to him and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing or that he should abandon them or anything. Just that they should be as important to him as the pack is and he shouldnt be so quick and unhesitating to throw the wolves under the bus whenever Simon and/or Clary need help. The last scene of the finale where he literally ordered the wolves to risk their lives in order to save Clary was just... yeah no. I’m glad he’s no longer alpha.

buckle up folks because I can already feel this is going to be a long one.

i think i was very lucky because i was able to experience both community college and university. I was accepted as a Spring Admit at my current university so that means I would enter as an incoming freshman in the Spring Semester instead of the Fall like a typically freshman. Therefore, in the fall, I decided to enroll in my local community college to get a head start on some credits.

Here is my opinion on the pros and cons of both.

M O N E Y

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

cheaper (duh) 

I qualified for FAFSA so they paid for all my classes and I was able to pocket the rest which as almost 2,000 

UNIVERSITY

my university costs approximately 72,000 this year; yikes 

I still qualify for FAFSA so I get financial aid from my university 

they offer 100% financial aid need - so if I cant pay it, they pay it 

homegirl got scholarships - I have a yearly scholarship of 12,000 

so in the end, I end up paying approximately 10,000 which is completely doable for my family 

there’s a lot of ways to make university free; don’t let that stop you from going 

Its very common to go to community college first and then transfer to a university for the next two years. Which leads me to my next topic of transferring.

T R A N S F E R R I N G

Attending CC first then transferring to a University only works in some cases. 

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

Trying to find CC courses that were transferable to my university was very difficult. 

The curriculum of Texas and California are very different and they did not accept all courses.

If I wanted to avoid taking the dreaded freshman writing course at my university, I would have to take two writing courses at my CC.

So two writing courses at CC was the equivalent to one university course.

UNIVERSITY 

if you plan on going to CC and then transferring, the best way is to go to a CC and University in the same state! 

Universities are more willing to accept courses from CC that they recognize! 

Also, public state universities are more likely to accept CC credits over Private state universities.

H I G H   S C H O O L   C R E D I T

I know in high school AP scores and dual credit (college and high school credit) is stressed as being able to get you a head start on university courses, but this is NOT TRUE. 

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

CC will accept any AP scores with a 3 or higher and dual credit that was done through them 

UNIVERSITY 

Universities will only accept some of your AP credit! 

I took AP US History, AP World History, AP Human Geography, AP Macroeconomics, AP Lit, AP Language, and AP Spanish that did not help me AT ALL.

AP credit that I know has been accepted at my university: AP Physics C (E&M & Mechanics), AP Calc, AP Stats, AP Chem, and AP Bio, but you have to get a 5. 

I got a 4 on my AP Stats exam, but I still have to take Statistics. 

Take into consideration that I go to a private out-of-state university. 

My friend is graduating a year early because she was able to transfer all her dual credit, CC classes, and AP scores to her public state university.

T I M E

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

I had so much time on my hands! I only had one class a day so I went for one hour or two.

except for my 6 hour lab/lecture on fridays rip me 

As a result, I was able to spend all my time focusing on my classes! 

I spent so much time on calculus that I was probably one of the best students even though I was the youngest in my lecture.

UNIVERSITY

I feel like I have no time! 

Some believe that you have three things to balance at uni; sleep, school, and social. this is false. 

you have to balance so much more; sleep, classes, social, extracurriculars, networking, food, office hours, applying for internships, and on-campus job. of course some of these things are optional like job and extracurriculars but if you want to be a well-rounded student then you need all these things.

S O C I A L

All of my high schools friends went to university at least 3 hours aways from me so basically, in the fall I didn’t have any friends.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

You make some friends in CC from your classes, but you only ever see them in class. 

I was the youngest and one of two girls in my Calculus II class so i didn’t really talk to anyone

You meet so many different people at CC who have different lives from yours

a lot of my classmates has children and i just couldn’t relate lol 

Some people know each other from the surrounding high schools

but I didn’t go to a normal high school so 

Some friends you keep in contact with! 

I met a girl at orientation who I ran into at the mall so we see each other sometimes there 

and we follow each other on instagram 

UNIVERSITY 

in university, everyone knows everyone. 

Well not really, but basically.

Everyones is connected somehow and you meet lots of people from your housing, classes, job, and extracurriculars.

You might not be best friends with everyone you meet but it’s nice to see a familiar face

I’ve had lots of classes with people who i’ve never met, but i know of them and see them all the time 

D I F F I C U L T Y   O F   C L A S S E S

I know people say that the classes at uni and CC have the same difficulty, this is also false. 

COMMUNITY COLLEGE 

the classes at CC were very similar to my high school classes so it felt like a continuation of high school.

 I got A’s in all my classes except writing (bc i suck) and I felt like i didn’t have to work that hard for it.

My homework was usually online for some classes (chemistry and math) so I had multiple chances to get an answer right

Classes are heavily curved and my math professors dropped our lowest test grade

A TEST GRADE!!!!!

I took one online class and literally as long as you do all the work, you should get an A 

UNIVERSITY 

the struggle is real y’all 

Classes vary by your major

As an engineering student, we are asked to practice theory. so first we learn everything and then we actually have to do it unlike some majors that write a lot of papers. 

Last semester, I had 9 hw assignments of algorithm design and 5 coding projects plus our group project. yikes 

Classes are curved but not always. 

each professor curves differently 

some curve exams

and others curve final grades

some professors curve down!!! 

the business classes at my university are so easy

they don’t want everyone getting an A so they curve down
