Bakusquad Sneaking into Your Dorm Room Headcannons

Eijiro Kirishima

Bakugo always knows when Kirishima sneaks out

He doesn't bother anyone but he definitely gets mad at Kirishima the next day for being too loud late at night.

The times Kirishima has gotten caught is probably around or under five times

There has been a few times where he has run into a classmate while heading to your room but was able to play it off as he was going downstairs to get water or because he forgot something

and the latter is true in most cases

He does forget quite a lot of his things in your room.

Think fast Kirishima!

It took him away to come up with that tho

after he ran into Todoroki who was kinda suspicious of him, Kirishima knew he had to make up a convincing excuse

Really he's just grateful he hasn't run into Iida yet

because Kirishima really knows he'll be doomed then.

One habit Kirishima does have when sneaking into your room is crashing into your bed right on top of you

He will tackle you gently if you're not on your bed already

Kirishima does this without fail every time

Katsuki Bakugo

surprisingly very stealthy

Even you don't know that Bakugo's coming to your room most of the time.

It may seem sometimes that your room is slowly becoming his room with how much time he spends in there especially at night and especially after the Kamino Incident.

It was completely unexpected the first time Bakugo snuck into your room

You might have brought the idea of sneaking around up but probably thought he'd never do it

We all know how he is with his sleep schedule and going to bed at a certain time

Don't worry he still keeps that schedule

He just sneaks into your room earlier.

Then when Bakugo leaves, you don't notice majority of the time

Bakugo is pretty strategic when it comes to this

He leaves early enough to get back to his own room without running into anyone

Bakugo doesn't always wake you but he always kisses your forehead before he goes

but Bakugo'll never tell you or admit that :)

Hanta Sero

honestly Sero's pretty good at getting from his to your place

he may get caught like once but that's about it

and it's sometimes surprising

because Sero will literally sneak into your room at completely random times

like he'll be like see you later when you're saying goodnight

and little do you know he actually does mean see you later when he's opening your door about ten to fifteen minutes later.

Sero will also play it super risky occasionally.

You don't know if he does it on purpose.

Class 1-A definitely have late night hangouts and when everyone eventually heads to bed, Sero will go to your room.

Sero never gets caught when he does this

even tho the hallways have quite a few people in them

yeah get this man to share his secrets

Denki Kaminari

Denki attempts to be sneaky

but he fails the first few times never even making it to your room

but through trial and error he makes it to you successfully

And he's very proud of it

look it was only one time that Denki ended up tripping on the floor very hard and waking up the others on your floor

he wants you to stop teasing him about it lol

now the challenge for Denki is staying quiet when he's in your room

Whoever's in the room next you you definitely knows that you have someone over

Denki gets carried away quite a lot

so he forgets that he's supposed to be kinda quiet when in you're room.

He always has a little celebration when he closes your door,

Denki's just happy he wasn't caught and he's able to spend the night with his favorite person.

Mina Ashido

Mina would 100% get to your room and back safely and without anyone else knowing

But I feel like she would slip up when telling the 1A girls a funny story or a video she saw when she was in your room and she would accidentally give out details that clued in some of the girls to exactly where she was at

Let's just hope Mr. Aizawa never overhears lol.

If Mina does happen to run into someone, she plays it off so well

No one suspects anything

well sometimes she heads over to your room with a bag and then someone might wonder what she's up to

Mina loves bringing over things to do in your room

Whether it be makeup, nail polish, and other fun stuff, you're having a blast when she's in your room

Oh, and Mina definitely spills the tea on whatever hot gossip there is that's been going on at U.A.

You are filled in with all the details

Honestly when Mina sneaks into your room, sometimes you get absolutely no sleep or don't go to bed until some odd hour in the morning

but hey you're always doing something that's kinda productive when Mina's in your room.

so if you told him when you guys were friends, obviously he'd care and he'd say he'd be there for you.

which wasn't a lie.

he really was there for you and he really did care.

but when you guys started dating, and once he realized, like, what was happening to you.

it was a whole nother level of care.

and before, of course he new how bad depression is, probably being able to see it a lot, but its different now.

hes still there for you and he tells you a lot.

I can see him already being clingy, so I can see him being with you a lot.

not even just because you're struggling mentally, but because he's your boyfriend and he loves you.

but if you want your space, he totally understands and will give you all the time in the world, he'll wait for you.

he'd wait behind a closed door, or he'd wait at his house and with you at yours.

speaking of, he doesn't mean to be all on you about this, and he knows you can take care of yourself.

but sometimes he doesn't want you to be home alone a lot.

he'd want you to stay the night or two at his house.

again, not just because you're struggling. he loves you, and his family too..

or if you have a rough home situation, he'd 100% tell you you can stay however long you need to.

though he had to convince fiona a little bit about that, because she doesn't wanna feel like she has to take care of you as well, and don't get me wrong, she loves you and wants you around, but she just needed a bit of reassurance I guess.

but in the end, she, and the rest of the family welcomed you with open arms.

so back to carl.

if you take any medication, he'd honestly try his best at not trying to bug you about it.

like asking if you've taken them today.

but when he does, hes not just doing it for you, hes asking for himself as well, so that he knows your gonna be ok.

and I can see you and Ian kinda relating to each other for that, like talking about how it could be annoying, but you're happy he cares.

or if you see a therapist, he'd be more than happy to take you, and if not, that's ok.

if you're just feeling really, really down, you don't wanna get out of bed, no motivation to do anything.

he'd try and help somehow.

like bringing you food or water, or staying in bed with you. or he'd even clean a bit for you. only for you.

and if you're just struggling with school maybe, he'd offer to help with what he can, and he'd feel kinda bad if he can't help, but after he tries, he'd go to lip for help, then help you.

and if you're dating before he left for military school, when he decided to go, he really thought about it.

he didn't wanna leave you, but once you told him to do it for the 20th time, he went lol.

the day before he leaves, he spends the whole day with you, telling you how much he loves you.

and just as hes leaving, and saying goodbye, he'd hug you the longest, and give you kisses on you're face and he'd tell you how much he loves you.

in general, his go-to when it comes to trying to comfort you is physical touch, next to that is affirmations.

he loves hugging you, and kissing you, and telling you how much you mean to him and stuff like that, it makes him feel good too.

even if he doesn't 100% know what you're going through in particular, he'd try his best to and hes doing his best.

A random assortment of autistic!Yusei headcanons on this fine Friday in December.

Yusei got a weighted blanket after the whole Arc Cradle ordeal. Best sleep he's ever had. Crow tried to borrow it once; it did not end well for him, lol.

Eye contact? What's that? Yusei doesn't know her.

He's more prone to shutdowns than meltdowns but they both do happen. (He's definitely accidently hurt himself on more than one occasion but he's gotten better at redirecting those behaviors even on his own as he's gotten older and his reactions less severe.)

He's semi-verbal to begin with so periods of losing speech entirely are a fairly normal occurrence. He's usually fine, and if he still needs to say something, the boys all know sign language anyway. (It's not "real" SL but rather a dialect of Satellite the citizens created to be able to communicate without Sector Security understanding them. Yes, I stole this from @/shitpostingkats, what of it? It lives rent free in my head.) The first time it happens after moving to the City, Yusei doesn't even consider that Aki and the twins don't know their SL and so he signs. Crow laughs at everyone's dumbfounded looks before he both translates for Yusei and then explains. All three are more than eager to learn it. (Rua thinks its "the coolest thing ever" in typical Rua fashion.)

Never quite breaks out of the "subtle stims only" mindset that was forced by necessity of the environment he grew up in. He wasn't about to give Sector Security any reason to single him out, after all, and old habits die really hard. Aki noticed he tended to rub his fingers together a lot, to the point of sometimes accidently scratching himself on the sharper edges of his nails when he's not wearing his gloves and started looking for other options. She bought him a spinner ring for his birthday and while it didn't 100% fix the problem, it did help quite a bit. (Between that and a tangle, he's practically good to go. He never had anything like that growing up, and they bring him great joy to have now.)

For the same reason, he was technically never diagnosed as a kid because Martha didn't want to paint a target on his back with SS. When he moved to the City, he didn't see any point. He was self-employed so any accommodations he could possibly need he could just, ya know, give himself. The first time he ever truly considered it was after he started working for MIDS and was working on his degree. (Even then it took quite a bit of convincing because he wasn't sold on it actually being helpful.)

so i finally watched TBOSAS, and as someone who didn't read the TBOSAS book, i'm going all movie based here to ask you about that cabin scene-- do you think snow would have killed lucy gray there? i mean, he did started shooting later, but that was because she put the doubt of "nooo, oF cOuRsE i WoN't TeLL" and i feel like that's when his trust ON HER was broken?

idk where i'm going with this, i guess i just wanted to hear your opinion on it. i honestly think if movie!lucy had just kept quiet in the cabin, movie!snow wouldn't have done anything? (anything to harm her, that is. i definitely think he would go back to go to district 2)

ahh welcome to the TBOSAS brain rot! it's a fun place to be lol

but u see, what you just described is exactly my biggest issue with the movie. like don't get me wrong, everyone in the cast killed it, and I love the movie overall, but the book 100% helped you realize just how selfish, deranged and paranoid Coriolanus really is. like he's not totally evil, but you see his flaws very, very prominently, and know that even if he does love Lucy gray, he doesn't love her well or right. the movie doesn't give you that insight, which makes sense considering we don't have that endless access to his thoughts like we do in the book, but in the movie they do this weird thing of almost making him better? or making him seem more like a tragic villain? like the book makes it 100% clear he did not truly care about Sejanus. When he cries post the hanging in the book, he cries because he thinks he's next, not because he feels genuine remorse for what did to sejanus. The movie makes it seem like he was genuinely convinced sejanus would be fine and his dad would buy him out of trouble; the book makes it clear that isn't truly a priority for him.

this speaks mainly to your question: do you think snow would have killed Lucy gray? in the book, the answer is 100% yes. I've already spoken about this with the amazing @indistinctmumblings, but in the book we already know how suspicious and paranoid snow is. he was already ready to ditch her the instant he saw the guns. book Coriolanus is ready to turn on people the moment he realizes he can't control them, even if he loves them. the movie changes coriolanus in that way, and while I think it's effective in its own way - makes his fall seem a bit more tragic because we like Coriolanus more, it infuriates me because in the woods scene it almost makes Lucy gray seem more like the aggressor?

Like by the time Coriolanus finds the snake in the book, he's already turned on her. the movie makes it seem like her 'betrayal', which seems a bit more unjustified considering how remorseful he was about sejanus (saying I'm sorry, crying over pictures, etc), and which could (somewhat??) reasonably be interpreted as a murder attempt on her part (in the book it's specified post his return to district 12 by a doctor that the snake wasn't venomous at all) is what makes Coriolanus snap. and it grates at me, esp after the first time I watched it.

because in the movie I was also genuinely convinced that until she said "besides me?" Coriolanus hadn't really thought of her as a threat? like it's only when she says it that it occurs to him, but even then he doesn't seem to mistrust her. it's only post snakebite that he's like okay, that's it, we're done, you're done. And I think it kind of undermines the danger Lucy Gray was in, in a way. Like I firmly believe in both the book and the movie she was waiting in the bushes to see how he would react as a final kind of test, and he very obviously fails it on both accounts, but in the movie it's a bit more reasonable why he was upset?? to some degree, anyway. he's still an asshole, and Lucy gray is stilll the one in the right here.

I think the main difference between book Coriolanus and movie Coriolanus to me is this: if he DID shoot Lucy gray, and he found her lying on the forest floor and bleeding, I believe book Coriolanus would have gone for the kill shot, even if it was in a fit of rage. I don't believe movie Coriolanus had it in him. I think he would have helped her, or let her go. but that's just me!

I definitely agree with you though! I think the more I rewatch it the more okay I become with it, but when I first watched the movie I was hit by the changes in the cabin like a truck. thanks sm for the ask, and have a happy new year!

I finished kiseki: dear to me last week and chen yi and ai di have me in a chokehold. No one I know has watched it so I'm gonna word vomit here lol.

I was honestly really surprised at how differently I view chen yi and ai di than most other people here and on twitter. Most people are really sympathetic to ai di, which is valid, but I think we're missing chen yi's pov in all this?

Starting with the birthday thing. The whole thing is a breakdown of communication. Was it ever really specified that they'd spend each birthday alone? I think it's very possible that chen yi also felt rejected by ai di's refusal to attend the boss's birthday party for them every year. Now, that doesn't negate the fact that he could have spent time with ai di after, or gotten him gifts.

I'm also not sure chen yi actually had a crush on the boss. It's very possible, and that was ai di's understanding, but it may not be true. To me, getting an extremely similar tattoo isn't a sign of liking someone, but instead a sign of wanting to BE that person. Chen yi may be confused, but to me, all signs point to him wanting to be the person his boss is. Like zerui said, there is a difference between love and admiration and it's unclear if chen yi could tell the difference

Another thing people forget about is that, for years chen yi had just thought of ai di as his little brother. I believe that there was some very real panic on chen yi's end when he realized his feelings were changing. I've read posts about how people thing chen yi kissing ai di in ep6 as him using ai di as a substitute and i'm like ????. Like y'all, chen yi know who he's kissing. Mans probably had a breakdown after that bc he's realizing that subconsciously, he doesn't see ai di as his annoying little brother anymore. And then he repressed that and tried to act like everything was fine (which it really wasn't). He probably thought his possessiveness over ai di was completely normal before all this.

All of their problems boil down to a complete and utter lack of communication. It's apparent that ai di did everything in his power to hide his feelings for chen yi, so how was he supposed to know? Also ai di leaving after what happened in ep9 is completely absurd to me. Esepcially with that note. Like you were so convinced one thing was going to happen you didn't leave space for any other possibility. I understand ai di was 18 then, and that's 100% 18 year old behavior but still.

We get a lot more of ai di's pov than chen yi's, which is likely why public opinion skews towards him, but I really do feel like there's more to the story than the feelings and opinions of such an unreliable narrator.

Was there ever an explanation why the mating bond snaps when it does? Some people are saying it’s when they’re emotionally available but I don’t think that was ever said/implied in the books (or maybe Sarah said it in an interview?). Nesta still fought it, Lucien and Elain were definitely NOT emotionally available when it snapped… if Gwynriel are mates, then their book will have to be set 100 years into the future if we need Az to be emotionally available lol

Truly, I think the mating bond snaps into place when SJM decides it best fits into a pairings storyline and creates the most impact.

Feyre wasn't in an emotionally available place when hers snapped into place considering she was still "in love" with Tamlin but also severely struggling with what she had just done to the fairies UTM.

Neither Lucien or Elain were in an emotionally available place when theirs snapped. He still thought Jesminda was his mate and had never allowed himself to open up to a female since then and she just went through a really traumatic experience while engaged to (and in love with) someone else.

As for Gwynriel, if they do turn out to be Mates, I think SJM has avoided having Az's bond snap because he's so fixated on having a bond. He wanted a bond with Mor for centuries. When that failed, he got to wondering how he as the third brother wasn't given a bond with the third sister.

While I don't think a male has to be emotionally available for a bond to snap, I do think SJM probably avoids having it happen while the male is in love with and wanting to be with another living female.

With Lucien and Rowan, it was OK for them to find out about their bond because they weren't desperate to have a bond. They sort of accepted that they could never love another since they'd lost their "one true love" and finding out they did have an actual living mate wasn't something they ever considered. For Lucien, he assumes the bond didn't snap because of Jesmindas death and for that reason, it never would.

With Az, he's kind of looking at every single female directly in his orbit and wondering why he doesn't have a bond so having it snap right away with Gwyn would make it more difficult for SJM to convince the sincerity of Az's interest in Gwyn.

Yes, the bond draws every MMC to the female but those men weren't obsessed with another living female weeks ago. Az suddenly up and switching his interest from Mor (and to a lesser degree Elain) immediately to Gwyn because he realized they share a bond doesn't play out well.

Instead, I think SJM is first building up Gwynriel by showing the contrast between how Elain is bothered by cruelty and Az admits her not knowing the things he does while Gwyn viciously leads the beasts to tear apart the Illyrians after watching them for days. She shoes the contrast of Az feeling like Elain shouldn't be involved in searching for the Trove versus Az's belief that Gwyn can handle herself in the Rite and Cassian noting how he watches Gwyn with admiration while Cassian can't figure out what looks are passing between Az and Elain. She builds similarities between Az and Gwyn throughout SF while highlighting the differences of Elain and Az over the course of the series. I think she's doing all this so when the bond snaps, we can see why Az and Gwyn were made mates and why he wants her for her, rather than jumping ship on Mor / Elain just because he finally got the thing he was jealous of.

Az needs to fall in love with the person before he's given the gift of a bond because his storyline is too wrapped up in wanting a bond with people he already knows (versus just dreaming of it happening for him someday in the way Rhys and Cassian did).

You don't have to publish this (don't want you to have issue with anyone lol) but I wanted to have a second opinion on this. It really feels like Tommy is seen as the best new LI who can't do no wrong, and I'm?? Like the thing with the closet space, everybody seems to think it was sassy and all, but I found it just mean? Like yeah Buck had completed rambled and went really extra, but he knew it was Buck's first date with a man and that Buck was not out, so I don't know but that remark just really felt mean to me. English is not my first language so maybe I missed something about it but it really left a bad taste to me.

mhm, no, i actually have to disagree. i don't blame buck at all for being awkward and nervous during the date scene—i know i made fun of his bumbling but i genuinely do not blame him for any of it as someone who is also still in the closet—but i do think he did fuck up a little by not just painting himself as a 100% heterosexual bro, but also tommy. i think tommy had the right to be a little annoyed about that—and i cannot lie, his line about closet space was. a little funny lol. i think it's pretty obvious that tommy didn't have an issue with buck being in the closet, but buck's overcompensation in that scene convinced him that buck wasn't ready. i truly don't think that line was meant to be malicious at all.

so i maybe perhaps made an AU for an AU and started writing it as if i don't already have five thousand fan-fictions on the go.

ANYWAYS more losers swimming AU but this time it is slightly different (this is mostly eddie lol)

the losers minus eddie are all part of the derry bluefin aquatics club (DBAC, pronounced D-back) , whereas eddie is part of the bangor aquajets (BAJ, pronounced badge).

they all still live in derry and eddie is still best friends with all of them, but sonia makes him swim with BAJ because she thinks the derry activity centre is too dirty and she also hates coach black (who coaches at DBAC when he's not at school).

eddie and the rest of the losers have taken to calling eddie's coach (coach martin) "coach asshole" because of how frequently eddie calls him an asshole

coach martin is a pretty shit coach all around, he doesn't actually provide much feedback or skillwork during practice and he doesn't get his athletes splits (the time it takes to do the laps within the race, so if you're doing a 100m you'd have 2 splits, the time it took to get from 0m to 50m and the time it took to get from 50m to 100m. this language isn't exclusive to swimming but i figured i'd explain it in case anyone didn't know what it meant)

he also has almost entirely stopped signing eddie up for longer races, breaststroke races, and butterfly races even though eddie's three best races are 200 fly, 200br and 400IM, because sonia told him eddie couldn't swim long distances because of his asthma, and he wasn't allowed to swim breaststroke because it would fuck up his knees and fly would fuck up his shoulders.

eddie is as a result, stuck doing the 100 back which he is. SHIT at. like yeah it's fine to branch out and swim a race he's bad at every once in a while, but he knows he can make provincials (idk if thats what it's called in the USA) if he just gets the chance to swim the 400IM, but he's been swimming the 100back and 50free at every race for the past five meets with a 400IM nowhere in sight...

he makes the other losers get his splits for him since coach martin isn't going to do it. he greatly enjoys walking over to the DBAC bleachers and shoving his stopwatch and notebook into richie's hands lol (also he owns a stopwatch that he brings to meets with him and he's always spamming the counter button before races)

he sees richie at school and after school every day but he freaks the hell out whenever he sees him at meets because like.... he didn't think his shoulders were that big... like what the hell?

since he isn't swimming the 400IM and 200fly usually anymore, he gets to sit and watch richie swim them which is literally the only upside to the situation

he is extremely normal about watching richie do his behind the blocks warm-up. richie will always catch him staring but instead of it being weird richie will just start over-doing his warm-up to make eddie laugh, he's like swinging his arms like crazy and eddie's trying to yell at him across the pool because he's a dumbass and he's going to hurt his shoulders

he's just generally soooo normal about it whenever he sees richie at meets tbh... despite not swimming with him he could pick richie's stroke out during meet warm-up (theres like. well over 30 people in one lane during meet warm up. it's extremely chaotic. someone almost drowned me when i was like nine lol. eddie definitely had the same experience)

he always sets his stuff up in the DBAC bleachers and coach black has just accepted him as one of his own lol

he convinces sonia to let him switch to DBAC for his 11th and 12th years of high school similarly to how he convinces her to let him keep seeing his friends in the book

he spent so much time with DBAC at meets that he is absorbed into the team immediately

he makes prov in 400IM, 200fl, and 200br like he said he would if coach martin just gave him the chance

which means!!! travel meet!!

theres an odd number of girls on the team so coach black lets bev share a room with the other losers

they spend most of their evenings in one of their rooms playing all the weird card/board games ben and bill brought. it is very loud. they are the annoying team at the hotel lol

on sunday they're at finals until like 8pm because richie and eddie are both in the 400IM and ben is in the 1500fr, since it's the last day they get to run off and they find a barcade but they're underage so there's like nothing they can drink there but they eat basically all the food the place has, they then play ddr on aching legs which results in a dance battle between bev and richie

they then proceed to go get massive ice cream cones at a nearby ice cream place. richie for the first time in his entire life understands what "ate too much" means

they try to sing camp songs on the bus ride home but everyone's voices are dead for the next week from all the cheering they were doing.

house of niccolò reread rambling thoughts: niccolò rising edition (final part)

writing this like a week after finishing the book because i'm lazy but hey! at least i'm doing it!

i think niccolò rising is a great introduction to the series. it's not as emotionally gripping as the game of kings, but it is way more polished and easier to understand and get into, i think.

that being said, it's still one of my least favourite dunnett books. which says a lot about the quality of her novels because i still really, really love it.

so yeah, a couple of reread thoughts before i (eventually) move on to book 2 :)

“Although,” said Tobie, “we’ll never know, will we, what brought it on? Relief or disappointment?”

i think it's fascinating that after 8 books, and considering nicholas is one of my favourite characters of all time (possibly even my number 1!), i still can't 100% tell if something is a part of his plan, or fate making those things happen.

did he always plan to marry the widow? on paper it seemed like a last resort because he didn't want her to sell the company, and it gave him status so it was, mostly, a win/win situation (if we ignore the fact that she brought him up and he was ten, which i definitely can't ignore, but i do wonder if it bothers nicholas especially considering his childhood).

did he want felix to die, even if he wasn't happy about it? he was the one to encourage felix to go to battle, though trying to convince him not to go would've had the opposite effect. and right before felix gets shot, julius was thinking that people on horse make an easier target (something nicholas would know because the dauphin's men threw him off his own horse before that). so maybe if nicholas hadn't tried to save felix, felix would be alive. but who knows!!

and i love this. i think some readers are frustrated by how little they understand of nicholas as they read the series, but to me that just makes him more complex and more real. it's a testament to dunnett's prowess as an author that she can create a protagonist like this, and not only does she make it work, she keeps adding layer upon layer as the series continues. and nicholas is already super complex in this first book! by the end of his series there's so much going on with him, and somehow it's not chaotic at all. or, well, it is a chaotic, but a controlled and deliberate sort of chaos.

i could talk about nicholas's characterization forever. and i will in this ramblings 😁

i know for a fact there are fans who don't like the julius reveal in gemini and don't think it makes sense on reread. i can't say i loved it when i read it, and i don't know yet how much sense it does or doesn't make, but at least i can say that in book 1 it was super fun to look at julius under a microscope.

i think i've mentioned this in my previous post, but julius was one of my favourite characters in the series because i think he's funny, and i love his reactions to the things nicholas does. because most of the time he's out there winning the idgaf war while everyone else is horrified. like tobie, he fulfilled his role in the story perfectly, but he was never that deep; and i was never going to write essays about him. he was just a silly guy.

but julius going from an amoral, selfish, entertainingly idiotic jerk, to a perfect example of lazy and opportunistic evil (while still being all those other things lol)? i do criticize dunnett's choice of leaving the reveal for the last half of the last book, but i do think that's really fun. and whether or not there are enough clues, or if they don't add up or only add up when dunnett wants them to, i will judge for myself. either way, taking a character that i enjoyed a fair amount on first reread because he was kinda dumb, and making me look at him really closely on reread... well i think that slays and i commend dorothy for it

What I love about chapter 6 INWCT is that most of the positive associations alt Cesar has been making get flipped on their head in like two minutes. Marks hands were warm. That was one of the first signs that alt Cesar was becoming human more than just acting. You know what else is warm? Blood. I'm going to assume when he got shot, he put his hands over it either to stop the blood from coming out, or because it hurt super bad. So that sucks, to have warm blood spilt all over your hands replacing the warmth of who used to be your friend, effectively ruining it, like EDMR gone wrong. Not only that, but also the fact that the blood would have gotten the bandages on his hands dirty. Judging by the scar map, the cuts all at least reached dermis, or it reached fascia since the skin on the hands is thinner. Both (deep) dermis and fascia cuts gape open, but you can tell the difference by the color underneath. When the blood is wiped away, dermis will be white, and fascia will be yellow with bumps. With facia cuts, you must go to the hospital, and the only exception is if you are extremely skilled at and familiar with taking are of wounds. If you want to take care of it at home, you have two options, stitches, or steri-strips. Since most people aren't able to stitch themselves or others up, they should use steri-strips to close the wound. The only problem is that with so many cuts close together, by closing one with a steri-strip, you would be opening another one. For now, let's just say they are deep dermis at most. They would take a few weeks to a month to heal since they don't heal instantly like they're meant to, so it's safe to assume he would still have the bandages on his hands. Mark always helped change the bandages and kept them clean so the cuts wouldn't get infected. Not this time. Now, the blood on the bandages will never be cleaned. Mark hates it, and even if he didn't, it is getting sent to the void with the damage from the bullet. The last part I can think of is how it was starting to have memories, emotions, and pain during its time as Cesar. His memories have informed it of things that it thought it would never understand, but was starting to, like music and hanging out with friends. Then they informed it that what has happened, that really should have been impossible, was worse than it thought. It could feel pain and emotions that it was never supposed to feel, and they hurt. It didn't get to have a small amount of pain or a controlled kind of pain when it first felt it. Its first experience of pain was getting shot in the chest by their best friend. Physical pain, but emotional as well. Mark had shown it things like happiness, affection, sadness, and anger. It was interesting how it all worked. He had been able to experience some emotions as well. But, like pain, some emotions hurt, a lot. He was able to feel desperation, and maybe even fear. Desperation in this context and fear are feelings that are worse than the other emotions because it means it has failed completely and become no better than the humans it was supposed to kill. And not to mention all of this was caused by the same person. It must feel like the ultimate betrayal to have someone show you all the amazing things about being human only to murder you with everything that hurts about being human. No wonder they're angry.

Yeah, suddenly flipping all the positive associations alt!Cesar had learned to use it all against him in Chapter 6 of INWCT was 100% deliberate on my end lol

The bloodstained bandages on alt!Cesar's hands (from where he had tried to stop the bleeding) also becomes very significant later on as part of his character design when he gets out of the void. There will also be even more changing pronouns as alt!Cesar tries to convince himself that he is still it though his conscience tells him otherwise. He tries very hard to separate himself from the real Cesar and despises that he is now trapped in a body that looks and sounds and has the memories of the exact person he doesn't want to be. Mark is no longer the only one to despise his reflection in the mirror :)

I'm very excited for his return to the narrative so I can explore all of this!

Hmm, interesting! My thoughts definitely fluctuate on this, and there different schools of thought on the topic, but right now? Let me see~

Lucifer - 1 - Lucifer does want one pup and he's a really good oma, providing he deals with some of his issues first (which he does), but one is enough for him. Thing is, Lucifer gets very focused on his pup and on the rest of the family, so it doesn't really occur to him to have any more? He can't imagine loving someone else as much as he loves his pup, so he keeps it at one. Also, remember that it takes hundreds of years to raise a demon pup to adulthood and this man goes above and beyond and also raises his brothers, he's tired XD

Mammon - 3 - He loves pups, especially his own. He is a really good oma, as long as he's supported by his partner for the discipline and serious parts of raising children. His pups have the age difference equivalent to a human age gap of two years between the oldest and middle, and then five years between the middle and the youngest. I can just imagine him in a cuddle pile with his family 🥺

Levi - 0 - He could maybe be convinced eventually, but I think he'd be much happier without pups. He is envy first of all, so he likes to have his alpha's full attention. He also has body issues and carrying a pup would make them worse. Also, his hobbies are his life, and raising a pup takes serious time from your hobbies etc. etc. He's a very fun, if not slightly irresponsible babysitter for his niblings though!

Satan - 0 - I debated this a little, but I think again he'd be happier with no children. He likes peace and quiet and intellectual discussions and not being sticky. He's also frustrated easily you know. He wants his days filled with museums and galleries and reading and tea... not nappies and vomit and screaming.

Asmo - 0 - Wow, three 0s in a row haha! Yeah, Asmo is similar to Satan and Levi here. Body issues would 100% crop up, along with the slut shaming he is bound to get from people. He gets upset when he can't have his full beauty sleep, when he feels ugly or not done up, and when he can't go out to his favourite clubs etc. I don' have to explain why that isn't compatible with parenthood XD

Beel - 2 - I put two because I think it'd be so cute if Beel had twins! He loves being an oma, he's the kind of person who finds joy even in the worst parts of parenthood and he has endless patience for them. He's also a fantastic uncle and he finds so, so much joy in watching his family grow and being there for them all as much as he can.

Belphie - 0 - He likes to cuddle and nap with Beel's pups, but he's happy without the daily grunt work. The attic is his sanctuary to nap away from the pups in the house lol.

Diavolo - ??? probably 7 or something lol - He'll have as many as he thinks feasible basically. He wants the biggest family possible, and there are good and bad reasons for that decision. His bad reason is that he has abandonment issues and wants a big family to fill that void. The better reason is that he truly feel fulfilled and joyful with his pups and he wants to teach them and raise them with as much love as he can. He does rely on Barbatos a lot though rip.

Barbatos - ??? - I don't know with him... He's an enigma... Maybe he wouldn't while he was still bound to Diavolo because he's worried what that will mean for them, but if there came a day where he wasn't, then he would probably love one or two.

Simeon - 2 - He really wants two pups. A small enough amount so that he can devote enough time and attention to each of them while still allowing for that cute sibling dynamic he wants to foster. They have a angel equivalent of a four year age gap. He absolutely dotes on them. You know that parent that makes birthday cakes by hand, and builds a treehouse and makes the best Halloween costumes... that's Simeon. They can run circles around him with technology though, he will need someone else's help with setting parental controls.

Solomon - 0 - He's still biologically human despite everything, so... he would outlive his children by a long shot. Regardless of his own wants, it doesn't seem worth the grief to him.

"Nat wants to have a Halloween party at the Hard Deck this weekend. Costumes and all. I want to go."

Natasha sighed heavily. "You really are going to make me bust out the big guns, aren't you? Fine. If you get Jake to dress up at the party, I will...." her voice lowered, even though there was no one in the Starbucks that they knew, "tell Bob how I feel."

"Deal." You didn't hesitate on that one. "Thank fucking god, by the way. If I have to watch you two give each other eyes when the other isn't looking for one more night I'm going to lose it!"

Natasha groaned and slouched back in her chair. "I'm telling you, you are imagining it. And if you are wrong, and I tell him, it is going to seriously fuck things up with our partnership."

You leaned across the table, placing your hand over hers. "Trust me. He is 100% just as into you." You leaned back and reached for your cup. "Now tell me what you are wearing to the party."

It was an ambush attack. He had just gotten home; just twisted off the top of a beer; wasn't even finished swallowing's the first sip when you pounced.

"Ta da!" You had a hanger in each hand, a Halloween costume hanging off each one and a big smile stretched across your face. Jake choked and began to cough.

"Jesus, baby!" He gasped when he finally got his breathing back under control. He was eyeing the costumes you held, a weary look settling over his face. "What are those?"

"Well, you remember last week right before bed when we were talking about Nat's party?"

"Vaguely..." he replied slowly.

"Its a Halloween party. She wants people to dress up. You told me ok." Your voice was casual. Don't worry folks, nothing to see here. Just another normal night out.

Jake's eyes narrowed and you could see him slowly start to connect the dots, and a picture he wasn't liking was starting to take shape. "Ok...."

"And these are our costumes. I told you I picked them out and you said ok." He was silent in his horror, and you just continued to smile. "You got home later than I expected. We should probably get changed now if we don't want to be late."

"I am not wearing that!" He yelled, pointing at the green tunic and tights draped over the hanger you held aloft in you right hand. You wanted to laugh at the panic in his voice, at the aghast look on his face.

"You promised," you reminded him sweetly. "I always wanted to go as Tinkerbell, with someone to go as Peter Pan with me! I really appreciate you doing this."

Jake's beer was forgotten on the counter as he crossed his arms and straightened, defiance settling on his face. "There is absolutely no way I am wearing that, babe. And you can pout all you want, I am not changing my mind. Hard no."

You tossed the costumes on the kitchen table and crossed to wear he stood, reaching up to cup his face in your hands. You had known he was going to resist, but you also knew that in the end he would cave. For as much as he was a cocky asshole on the surface, he was as soft as a marshmallow on this inside, especially when it came to you; you loved him for it, and tried to never, ever, to take advantage of it, of him. But sometimes, for the greater good of the world, you would. And getting Jake into a Peter Pan costume, with tights, was definitely for the greater good of the world.

"Babe, please? For me?" He winced and tried to turn away, but you held on firm, keeping him facing you.

"No."

"Come on, why not? It will be fun! I really want us to do this together." You allowed a hint of pleading to slip into your voice.

"Bradshaw would never let me live it down if showed up in that," Jake protested.

You scoffed. "First of all, I am sure Roo is going to be wearing something he thinks is hilarious but is actually pretty stupid. Second, are you going to let him think you were too chicken to dress up?" A low blow. "And thirdly, and most importantly," your hands left his face and drifted down his chest, sliding slowly around his middle, and then squeezed his ass. "There is no man on Earth who could make those tights look as good as you; not without an ass like this."

You were pressed tight against him, and you could feel his dick twitch in interest even between two layers of clothing. You tried not to smirk. Although you never said it out loud, you thought Jake's ego was actually a mask for insecurity; a coping method. The guys had, predictably, given Jake a huge amount of shit for his costume, but now that the initial ribbing was over you were silently thanking Natasha for the gift she had given you.

Your attention was fixed on Jake, where he was leaning over to line up a shot at the pool table. When you had had said it, it had been a line. But watching him now, you realized it had been the god honest truth: there was no man on Earth who could fill out that outfit like Jake did. Your head tilted to follow as he bent over more and you practically shot out of your chair when Natasha smacked your arm; hard.

"Jesus! What was that for?" you demanded, rubbing at the sting.

"Look, Nat, normally I would never betray a friend's confidence like this but....Bob told Jake he feels the same about you. He is crazy about you! And he is just as afraid if the same things you are. hey, love your art and all your headcanons, I was wondering if you think all the nations smoke a little bit or if most have stopped the habit except from Yao... Like do you think Kirkland, Kiku and Alfred smokes? Idk why I care, but I'm just curious ^^ There are people in my country for example, but not many statistically

hey! glad you like my art. and heh, that's an interesting question. as i see it, most of them today don't smoke as much as they do in the past.

sir lord arthur bloody kirkland: was an addicted serial chainsmoker until after WWII where he got a kick in the arse from the newfound NHS to get healthier in all ways, including cutting back his liquor. it wasn't overnight for sure (a lot of the drop is from the 70s onwards), but i think by the present day, he doesn't smoke as much (which mirrors how much smoking has declined in england). probably still enjoys an expensive cigar now and then, but he is trying to go clean, with nicotine gum and all. universal healthcare is very convincing.

alfred: similar story, i reckon! so many people used to light up— i see him as smoking a fair bit, but being nowhere as much of a chainsmoker as his father—a lot more of a social smoker. like you'd always find him cigarette in hand in the 1940s when chatting with someone. he's also cut back nowadays; i see him as the sort of person who really gets into all kinds of health kicks. now you're more likely to find him guzzling some kind of fancy new bottled water rather than holding a cigarette, lol, because hydration is IN!

kiku: not as big a smoker as 50 years ago too (it was a whopping eighty percent for men at one point) but he does light up a bit more often (the govt owning a huge share of japan tobacco is kind of a conflict of interest in how smoking culture has evolved; cigarettes aren't as pricey as in other countries). japan is one country with a fairly big gender divide re: smoking too with a lot more men doing so then women. i think that like alfred, he's more of a social smoker nowadays though, and he can be fairly disciplined about limiting it personally.

yao: ah. my great grandpa. 100% a lost cause right now. he goes through so many packs of zhonghuas. it's a habit he should kick he knows, but he isn't too fussed right now. it's still far more ingrained in socialising; offering people cigarettes at a social gathering, or as gifts to show appreciation, in a way it's really not so in say, england nowadays. so that's why i see the old man still being a heavy smoker.

I think Kazemaru would be pretty good friends with Midorikawa. We've seen them hang out outside of practice before and I think personality wise they'd mesh pretty well? They're both also known to be pretty fast so I think it'd be fun if they sometimes race against each other or something!

📓 A headcanon about their hobbies

Outside of sprinting, which I'm convinced he still does in his spare time he wasn't in the track club if he didn't at least enjoy it, I think he'd be into rollerblading as well. I personally love rollerblading and I also love projecting onto characters but I think it would suit him really well! It allows him to go even faster than he can just running. I think he'd initially try it out under the guise of it being "soccer practice" (endou syndrome is strong in this team) but then he eventually just really starts to enjoy himself and get into learning how to do more tricks with it. It eventually just becomes something he just likes doing for fun and he gets REALLY good at it too.

💝 A headcanon about their love language

Ooh this one was kinda hard! I think Kazemaru would be the type of person to do gestures instead of physical contact. He doesn't strike me as particularly touchy but he'd do things like make breakfast in the morning or buy gifts for the people he loves just because. I don't really know what people do in relationships lol I'm aroace..

He HAS to run 3 laps around 5he field before the start of every match. Yes it slightly decreases his staminahe doesn't care. He's convinced it gives the team good luck (the one time he didn't was their first matcg against gemini storm, we all know how that went)

I already very existensively talked about how I think he'd be one of the first players in inajapan who'd be able to warm up to Fudou. Other than that I think Max is generally just close to most og raimon members, particularly Jin and Handa. He's usually seen hanging out with Handa but I also think he's been friends with Jin even before joining the soccer club. They were classmates before joining the soccer club and they both joined at the same time. Coincidence? I think not! I imagine he ended up mentioning Endou running around with his big sign to Jin and they decided to both join the team afterwards.

📓 A headcanon about their hobbies

I saw @marmolao 's hc that Max sew his sleeping hat from I think it was a bedsheet, I 100% agree with that. To add to that I also think sewing is something he does to destress. Probably one of the few hobbies he's tried that he didn't immediately drop, maybe the hat he wears could be the first thing he's ever sewn? Idk just spitting ideas. I really like the idea that he does a lot of diy-ing when it comes to the clothes he wears, he tries to be so cool with spiked bracelets made of ripped up jeans and covers his clothes in pins and patches. And then he wears that cat hat and all of the coolness wears away instantly.

I headcanon him as aroace, bc again I really like projecting on characters. That being said he still has a platonic love language. I think he enjoys making little things for his friends. Like little trinkets, things that they can keep on hand. That'd be so cutee

I. I don't think he's capable of parting with his hat, it's definitely a comfort item, but I also just think he hates having his head exposed like that. Like it feels Wrong not having anything on his head, which is why he has one specifically for going to bed.

Watched the tenth episode of LEGO DreamZzz: LOVED IT!

So I actually watched this episode a whole while ago but forgot to post this... BUT NOW THE SECOND PART OF SEASON 1 IS ALL OUT SO I NEED TO PUT MY THOUGHTS DOWN 😍😍

Also the LEGO Youtube channel continues to bless me with shorts of the series, I'm already a huge fan of Draw with Mateo, and now we got Logan's Training Tutorials (he got such a massive ego istg 😂) AND EVEN AN ANIMATED SHORT CALLED "DREAMOLITION DUO VS THE MUTATED MATH MONSTERS" 🤩🤩🤩 (that one was EXCELLENT, I really hope we get more of those with that style)

Since all the new episodes dropped at the same time I might just make a single or two posts about all of them, we'll see! It's literally just for me to scream about how I love this show 🥰

Anyway, without further ado, let's get into this!

THE GRIM ESCAPE

This coach is pretty narrow minded, but I never had a PE teacher that wasn't 100% convinced gym was everything, so 😂

Dreamcrafting as a concept feels like elemental powers from Ninjago: it's likely the most powerful thing there is, but in most situations it gets nullified or nerfed so it's hard to use it all the time with no limits 😅😅 It does make sense for this place to be no imagination zone, though

I'm sure Logan feels very guilty for the mess he got into, but I do hope he doesn't get forgiven immediately, so I'm glad Mateo is genuinely upset at him

Ok, so my brain never shuts off. Like ever. (Oh the joys of being an over thinker). So I’ve been thinking pretty much non-stop about Pocket and her situation.

So going back to Chloe. I know she’s blaming herself for that whole tragedy. But! She did save a girl that night: Birdie. If she hadn’t done what she did, would Birdie have been punished or killed? 🤔 Pocket did save her.

I’m also wondering if we know WHY Chloe was killed? Did they figure out how old she was? Did she refuse to do something? Or screw up? Or was she with a John who just got a little too aggressive? Maybe one of the other asks was right, and Hydra did experiment on her and it went badly…

As for the miscarriage…somehow, based on your answers, I knew this was coming. And it breaks my heart for both her and Bucky. I can see both of their sides too. I think Pocket’s “trash” comment was maybe her way of trying to convince herself that she was fine with it. That she didn’t really want it anyway. But I can also understand Bucky feeling and reacting the way he did too. It’s hard because I’ve never been in that kind of situation. Never experienced such a terrible loss. But you wrote it so well!

You write everything so well. You bring all of the characters to life. And I LOVE that you have backstory that isn’t in the chapters. You just get it. You’re a natural writer. I’m so impressed by your talent. Please never stop writing!

Pocket did save Birdie! You're 100% right. It's just so hard for her to recognize that when all she's focusing on is her failure. If Birdie hadn't done the coke, she probably would have been punished, and that was what Pocket was focusing on. But, she sees her actions as failure, because they led to a girl's death (however inadvertently; I'm not really sure what she thought she could have done to save Chloe, anyway-- it's just the perpetual 'what if' hanging over her head).

Unfortunately, Chloe wasn't killed for any big Hydra purpose. Hydra is selling women through the Wiggle Room as a funding source. They're doing it straight up to make money to support their other endeavors, and they straight up have no care for what happens to these women once they've been bought-- they just see them as revenue. So, whoever bought Chloe at auction did what he did to her simply because he wanted to, and he felt that he had the right to, because he bought her. It's as simple and sick as that. It ties back to this over-arching subtheme Pocket deals with of men hurting women because they think their wants are greater than a woman's life. She experienced it growing up, she experienced it with Bucky cheating on her, and now she's seeing it here with the trafficking.

Yeah, everyone jumped on the "Pocket is pregnant" bandwagon so quickly, I was not prepared, lol. Which is why I really tried to push poisoning, just to keep everyone guessing. Her "trash" comment was definitely a defensive maneuver, her trying to convince Bucky (and herself) that this didn't bother her, that he, in a way, still didn't have a hold on her. But, she admits that, if she let herself think about it, she would have wanted to have a baby with him. It was something that took them both completely by surprise, and hit them emotionally. Neither one was approaching it from a rational mindset, so things were said that wouldn't have been said if they had taken time to think things through, first. Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm just over here doing the best I can to make this convoluted fantasy from my head make sense on "paper," so it's so rewarding to know people are enjoying reading it as much as I've enjoyed creating it!
