akashi is actually not as good at everything as people like / want to believe but let me not get into that today

#i think people are missing the entire point of his character arc when they believe him to be perfect and good at everything #you have fallen for the image he’s projecting without noticing the cracks in the facade and the secrets they reveal #in my opinion people still have a largely one dimensional understanding of him #we have so much material to work with why do we refuse to discuss more than his supposed perfection #less about how perfect he is at something and more about the trials and tribulations he experienced in trying to be good at it #less about how calm and composed he is and more about how easily he breaks down in secret because he cant do it in front of everyone else #more about him being comfortable enough around his friends to risk making jokes #if you heard any of the headcanons i have about akashi you’d go into shock #give me more messy awkward akashi #or i’ll do it myself #Whatever. I think it's so funny that when Midorima's lucky item of the day was a person with red hair, he refused the picture of Kagami that Kuroko offered to send him and instead called Akashi in Kyoto to ask him for a picture of him. And that was before the winter cup, when it was still his bokushi personality.

Kotarou and Nebuya photobombing the pic was perfect too. And Takao freaking out a little when Midorima is about to call Akashi
