Maribat ideas I will probably never write

Now, before we start.

I realize that those may have already been made but I've never seen them and everything here came from my mind. But if you remember the titles, please tell me them or send a link to the stories, I'd love to read them.

This can be whatever ship you want Connorette, Daminette, Cassandra x Marinette, Brucinette... Any ship.

Here I'll refer to them just as the bats or one of the bats, or just choose a random one of them simply because I don't know the exact person that'd fit in the au with Marinette so I'm just leaving it up to you but... yeah.

[And yes, I know I said it could be Connor or Jon or anyone else, and I know they are not part of Batclan but for the lack of better word, just roll with it]

Yes, you can use any of them, but please tag me (i really want to read what you came up with) and include the link to my post so maybe someone else could use any other of these.

And if want to add anything or just brainstorm in the comments I'd love to do it with you, so don't be shy and say what you think (constructive critism only).

Maybe i will update this, but for now feel free to use any of these over 20 (i think at least) ideas I came with in these past 2 weeks cuz i was bored.

And before you start, I'm thinking of making mafia boss! Marinette AU, but i don't know what ship it should be... Suggestions? (Just not the love square please)

Violinist Marinette. The Waynes got invited to a concert in which Mari played a solo. And they're all just enchanted with her talent.

Marinette a Badass Dancer. None of the bats is a dancer in this AU and I don't really have any direction where this would go, but i just had a scene where she kicks their asses even though she doesn't have much (or any) exprience in martial arts. Just her spinning and kicking one of them mid-spin in the face or... somewhere else...

So the scene is a Wayne Gala, right? Jagged Stone dares Marinette to sing a song on a stage (there’s live music band, i guess?). Everyone’s mesmerised by her voice and Jagged can be heard screaming “That’s my niece!” in the backround. I really want her to sing Creep , a cover by Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox ft. Haley Reinhart or Crazy in Love , also a cover made by Sofia Karlberg, though any other song is fine too

Bats and Marinette in a band. That's it. That's the whole AU.

One of the bats is sitting under a tree, all peacefully and relaxed, but then they look up to see a random girl with dark blue hair (??) just hanging upside down from a branch like an actual freaking bat. She gives them a heart attack.

Another Au with singing Marinette lol. In this one Marinette likes to sing in a park every other day and Damian comes here one day and hears her and is like “wow.”, and since then he comes there everyday in hopes of hearing her sing and getting her number. And maybe Luka or Adrien play while she sings, that’d be cool

Guys, Marinette and the Waynes being neighbours. No, but imagine. Them seeing some girl watering plants every week for a month or two and then not seeing her for a long period of time, and they're kinda worried, but then she's back and they're confused, because where the hell she'd been, the house looked like not used and just where the hell was she? Marinette seeing some... Weird things happening in the Wayne backyard. Balconies being in front of each other, so they're balcony neighbours too (the romance, the fluff, even the angst, guys). Marinette going to them with baked goods and introducing herself as their neighbour. Them going to hers and welcoming her with a basket of Alfred's cooking. 

Jason has to participate in a dating show because he lost a bet and Mari's one of the participants too...

Duke needs a date to a wedding (i don't know whose, your choice) and Marinette's his best friend, so be my fake date to this wedding?

Marinette as Tim's daughter??

The greatest showman AU. (Sibling dickinette. On the trapeze-)

Forget rouges, superheroes and vigilantes. Underground dancers. Because it's what i need, y'all

So in this, WE is a dance company, and Marinette's maybe an intern in a fashion department. One day Dick's going to one of the practice rooms where's been scheduled a meeting with a designer for his costume for the next show. Instead he's met with a girl he sees for the first time, practically flying on the dance floor. Just as he's about to reveal himself the rest comes and it turns out this is the fashion designer and it seems as no one knows she's an amazing dancer too

Teachers AU + Rivals AU = utter chaos. Them teaching the same subject and competing for their class' loves and/or arguing whose close is better. [Bonus points if everyone's thinking they hate each others guts, but they're secretly dating]

Fencers AU - on the same team on different teams, your choice. (And this honestly suits with Kagami too. I'm up for kagami x bat/marinette)

Damian in the park with Mar'i, but he's having trouble, because this kid has so much energy. How?? Just when he thinks he can take a breath, he notices Mar'i has wandered off and is talking to a young woman, so he rushes there and try to apologize, but she says it's no problem at all. Suddenly this gorgeous girl offers him her help. It looks like Mar'i has taken liking to her and he's so tired, so he agrees and for the rest day watches two Mari's play together and falls in love with the older one. Plotwist: this was plan all along. Mar'i is the ultimate wingwoman.

All the Wayne siblings decided to go to one of those haunted houses for a halloween and there's this petite girl who tagged along their group somehow. They didn't expect to see this tiny girl punching the worker dressed as a monster and knocking the daylight out of him. But it was so worth getting kicked out.

Marinette's a ghost and these four men came to her house and apparently they're doing a ghost investigation?? I mean, she was getting a bit lonely and bored, maybe it's time to "gain some friends" (read: scare the living out of them).

Pretty much the above but with bat/s as ghost/s and Marinette as the paranormal investigator with her team (i honestly want one of them to be Kagami, i don't know why). In both you need to decide who's a skeptic and who believes. It's fun, the ghost is trying to scare them off, but they're stubborn.

Sibling dickinette where Marinette calls her older brother everytime she wants to get out of a date and so he pretends to "arrest" her. (And then maybe dick decides to play a matchmaker and sets her up with one of his adoptive siblings)

Marinette as a lawyer. Her going against LexCorps who framed Wayne Enterprises for something. Or maybe Bruce was accused of murder (that he obviously did not commit) and now she has to prove his innocence. I just really want to read about badass lawyer Marinette, guys

Merlin AU. Is there any AUs with Marinette being Merlin and saving Arthur's ass (I honestly think it should be Chloe, no joke)?

Mominette where she adopts Cassandra. I just imagined them going to ballet lessons together and cooking and now I'm soft.

Marinette got dared by her friends to set a trap for the passerby that involved eggs, toy train and glitter and to then to pretend they're her ex and they cheated in her, and Jason had the misfortune to be that passerby. (Yes, this is probably crack lol)

Tim can rap. Marinette can rap. What could go wrong?? (Yes, this is probably crack too)

There's this girl they see every year when to go on trick-or-treating and she always has the most amazing or scariest costumes. But Damian will not go without a fight and so every year they compete over who has the better costume. This year they just so conveniently dressed up as the famous Halloween couple.

Jon is 17 now and it seems as no one is interested in him. He jokingly tells Damian he supects theres a ghost that's in love with him and they keep away any potential lovers from him. He doesn't know how much he's right. Marinette though, is freaking out.

Marinette decided to take a part-time job at a local pool as a life guard. There's a sudden increase in people coming to said pool but also a dramatic increase in people pretending to drown. Conner is one of them.

Marinette plays a therapist to all of the batfam. The amount of the ridiculous problems she had to listen to... She could write a book and she would make millions out of it, she swears.

"Some say "revenge is a dish best served cold.", then i read "revenge is sweet", so i came to conclusion revenge is ice cream." Huh, so that'd explain the sudden disappearance of ice cream in whole Gotham Jason had been hearing about for the past week from Bruce. The question is, what that petite bluenette is planning to do and who is going to be a victim of her ice cream revenge?

Tim had been in coma for a month after the drug bust, and he has just woken up. The first thing he does? He picks up the argument he and Marinette had been having before he's been put into a coma.

The couple at the place Jason had been at, started making out loudly, so he started making loud noises while eating his ice cream. They stopped. And he got this cute barista's phone number when she was walking past him.

Marinette's at the spa when she overhears two guys betting who can eat more slices of cucumber (that were supposed to be put on their eyelids) and she decided to participate. Safe to say they were all banned from all the spas in Gotham

Can i please get Jason/Duke/anyone making up a bedtime story for Marinette after she woke up from a nasty nightmare? I need it

Every morning and night Marinette pretends to be asleep just so she can feel Damian pull her closer, kiss her temple and whisper how much he loves her

Roy listening to Jason complaining about each first encounter of her girlfriend with his siblings and Bruce. Each is more ridiculous than the one before. He listens to it, after he and Marinette had gone through their own weird af first meeting.

Dick was so busy laughing at the bluenette who'd just walked into a post, he ran into the same post minute later. She asked him out... After she finished laughing and telling him karma's a bitch

Dick likes to think he's the reason Jason and Marinette got married. To his last days he will brag about how at his and Kori's wedding Marinette caught the bouquet, tripped and Jay caught her.

Jason asked Marinette on a date to one of the restaurant the WE owned. Then as a test, he told her he couldn't pay for all the expensive dishes they ordered. She took his hand and they ran out of the building. He's convinced he's going to marry her.

Miraculous Quirk AU

Idk if someone has already done this but here we go!

So, I recently got into Boku no Hero Academia and I got to thinking, what if the Miraculous universe was set in the same one as Bnha?

So, those of us who watch Bnha know the drill, 80% of the population has superpowers, called “quirks.” The other 20% are “quirkless.” So here’s how it would play out in my brain.

Super duper long, oops, so under the cut!

Miraculous:

works pretty much the same way as canon

only doesn’t give you a suit the holder picks that themselves

they work similar to One For All does in Bnha

the power of the previous owner fuels the power of the miraculous and the previous user can still use the power, but a weakened version of it

Ladybug miraculous gives the holder the power to create things and heal

Black Cat miraculous gives the power to destroy things with a touch (at will)

And so on, pretty much like canon but with some modifications

Marinette

was born quirkless

when she was younger, kids (cough Chloe cough) would make fun of her for it

was insecure about it for a long time and then saw all of the ways that quirks could backfire and decided it wasn’t worth it and it no longer bothers her (much)

(seeing Chloe blind herself was funny tho, even if it was temporary)

still wants to be a fashion designer

wary of superheros because of all of that property damage and also some of them are lowkey sus.

parents still own a bakery

Sabine’s quirk is levitation. She can make items and people float with her  mind but they have to be things she can physically lift (it’s okay tho cause she’s smol but strong). The drawback is that she gets really bad headaches and if she uses it too much or for too long, she can get a migraine.

Tom has a smaller, tamer version of pyrokinesis. He can’t make his entire body burst into flame but he can make certain parts, like his hands. He has a naturally high resistance to extreme weathers as his body heat is unusally high (hugs from him during the summer are bittersweet b/c he’s a great hugger but it’s too damn HOT DAD GET OFF-). The drawback is that he can’t control the temperature of the flame so if he’s not careful or if he uses his quirk for too long, it’ll burn him. His arms have many burn scars, rip.

back to Marinette

Decided the Hero Life wasn’t for her but still supports her friends who want to do it

Until she met the Lucky Hero, Tikki, her favorite

After plot happens, Tikki gives her the source of her “quirk”, the miraculous, and entrusts Marinette to carry on her legacy

Lots of angsty turmoil before she accepts the miraculous and decided to become a hero.

Chooses to be named the Ladybug, same as canon

Her hero costume would be the same as canon AT FIRST since her decision to go to a hero school was last minute af but then the suit will go through modifications to better suit her power needs and fashion needs

Got through the entrance exam after training with Tikki and because she’s badass shh

Doesn’t get a crush on Adrien until later once they’re already friends (or at all really idk yet)

Adrien

was the result of a quirk marriage

was the *failed result of a quirk marriage

Instead of inheriting both quirks of his parents, like intended, they combined and created a new one

His quirk is Charm. His body releases an invisible pheromone that makes him seem more attractive or trustworthy, sometimes both, depending on the person who smells it. This makes the “victim” more susceptible to his suggestions, but it’s not a total brainwash, unlike his father, so they can still easily fight it off if they wanted to. The drawbacks are that he can’t really stop it so he has to be constantly covered so that he doesn’t accidentally charm everyone. Also, after a while, people can build up tolerance to him and it won’t work as strongly on them.

Gabriel has Brainwash, which is often seen as a villain’s quirk. Everyone is thankful the he decided on fashion as a career and not villainy (oh those poor naive souls). If he looks into your eyes, you are put in his control and won’t be able to fight it unless he lets you go or if you receive a blunt impact to the head. The drawbacks are that he can’t control it so anyone who he makes eye contact with gets brainwashed unless there’s an obstacle in the way i.e.: glasses

Emilie’s quirk is sleep gas. Her skin cells naturally produce a gas that can put people in a coma-like state. The drawbacks are, again, can’t turn it off and the person has to be within range. She also has to be constantly covered.

Adrien wanted to be a hero at first to spite his father

Gabriel always hated heroes and saw them as a nuisance.

So Adrien basically said “fuck you, I’m going to be the best hero because I can”

And somehow convinced his dad to enroll him in College Francois Dupont, a local hero school

(he acutally just charmed him cause his dad isn’t around him enough to build up immunity to his quirk but shh)

He gets in through recommendations and is put in the hero course

This version of Adrien was still childhood friends with Chloe (who is immune to him) and a lot more distrustful of people, especially if they’re nice since he has no way of know if they’re genuinely a nice person or if they just fell prey to his quirk

rip the sunshine boy he has no friends except Chloe for the first few weeks of class

Becomes friends with Nino after they got paired up in a fight simulation

The slowly gets more comfortable around people and becomes more open to friendships

Doesn’t get the Black Cat Miraculous until much, much later when the Squad gets caught up in a fight with villains and the Unlucky Hero, Plagg (Tikki’s partner and husband) decides to entrust him with it

Impulsive chaotic gremlin that gets threatened to be put on a leash made by Marinette 

Chloe

also the result of a quirk marriage, this one being successful

Her quirk is called Diamond. Her skin has an extra layer that acts very similarly to an actual diamond so she can reflect, refract, and disperse light. This layer can also harden at her will so that she can become a semi-indestructible prism. Her body’s reaction to light intensifies while in this state. The drawbacks are that while her body is hardened, she cannot move easily and her speed will be greatly reduced. Also, her skin is just very sparkly almost all of the time which makes it hard to hide from villains and to see when it’s sunny out. Usually wear large sunhats and sunglasses to try and reduce the shine

Her and Adrien bond by being products of a quirk marriage

also got in through recommendation and everyone thinks she bought her way in but actually tried very hard to earn her spot

is VERY protective over Adrien and will blind someone if they say anything she deems offensive

She and Marinette practically hate each other on a good day before they were forced to hang out since Adrien kept bringing Chloe along with him whenever the Squad would get into shenanigans

They developed a mutual agreement to be civil at one point and that slowly turned into friendship

Y’know the type of friends that insult each other and fight over every small thing but the second someone else tries to come for the other they won’t h e s i t a t e BITCH

yeah that’s them

anyways, I digress

Is surprisingly the sensible one of the group

“no you cannot run headfirst into the fight Adrien, these are actual villains and you can’t even pass a simulation without dumb luck.”

“I don’t care if your quirk can heal you Marinette, stop jumping off of rooftops and go down the stairs like a normal person!”

“Put it down, Nino.”

“Luka. No.”

she is Mom

Says she wants to be a hero because hero’s are cool and she’s cool so it just makes sense for her to be a hero

(actually though because she wanted to make her mother proud of her but you didn’t hear it from me)

Is lowkey really powerful and if she tried to use the full extent of her powers, she’d be a beast

but don’t tell her that, she’s already got a big head

Luka

is working towards becoming an underground hero

His quirk is sound amplification. He amplifies preexisting sound waves to what ever frequency is needed. Depending on the frequency, he can break through almost any object. The drawback is that sound waves can damage his hearing and can become temporarily deaf if he uses it too long or if he creates a frequency that’s too high for his body to handle. Has a chance of becoming permanently deaf if he overuses his quirk too many times

His suit comes with modifications to help with that so he should be fine he hopes

His guitar doubles as a weapon since he usually amplifies whatever chord he plays

Already has his provisional hero licence

is still really chill

is one of the first to figure out Marinette’s secret but is a good boi so he doesn’t tell

you’d think that being the oldest of the group he’d be the sensible one but nope

is accidentally the one that encourages shenanigans 

Luka, innocently: Hey, did you know that the teachers don’t lock up the sim rooms?

Chloe: *Death glare*

Luka: *nervous confusion*

the one who encouraged Juleka to go for the hero course 

Nino

Adrien’s best friend, just like canon

started out as general studies since he wasn’t sure if he was good enough to be a hero but a teacher saw his potential and was transferred into the hero course

His quirk is time reduction. He can slow time or even stop it completely if he concentrates very hard, allowing him to get one place to the next in literally no time at all. He used to think it was super speed because this but found out what it really was when he tried to save a cat from being run over and stopped time. He can also stop  only certain objects in time but that takes up more energy. The drawback is that if he overuses his quirk he starts to speed up his own time in order to compensate for the time he’s losing so he becomes very tired and after “3 hours” of his own time passed he will pass out from exhaustion. Also, he can only manipulate the time within his quirk’s range which can go up to about the size of an american football field (160 feet/49) meters.

is super insecure of his quirk because he thinks it’s not as cool as everyone else’s

they make sure to let him know that that’s bs and he’s very cool

feeds off of Adiren’s chaotic energy during simulations

has been put in timeout by Chloe when this happens

will stop time to bask in the moment

Miraculous Ladybug AU where everything is the same except Hawkmoth is Adrien’s sister: Butterfly (it’s Hawkmoth in French btw). Can you imagine the aesthetic:

Bad bitch vibes: glittery pouty lips, the side eyes, the poorly concealed judgement in her eyes. Butterfly tattoo right above her navel.

Acrilic nails taping on her phone in frustration, the mini pleated skirts (haute couture ofc), she takes a sip of her favorite iced latte as she sends away her purple Akuma to darken the hearts of her victims. Ugh the eybrows game on point, y’allllll ~

Her powers are fueled by her need of retribution and desire to lash out against the abuse, the neglect, the control. She feels smothered, trapped in a guilded cage. The anger is running cold through her veins. Quiet.

She senses the negative emotions of people who has been wronged, ego bruised, feelings unvalilayed and discarded. She gives them a chance to retaliate, an opportunity to do something against it.

She wants Ladybug’s and Chat Noir’s miraculouses to rewind the hands of time and return to a time when everything was better. When her mother was alive and her father hadn't trapped them in a gilded cage.

Poor Nooroo is torn apart witnessing his wearer destroy herself along with Paris because of her sorrow.

She's protective of Adrien (She calls him Adrichou, just because he hates that nickname. He calls her a brat in retaliation, although she can't bring herself to care.) They always banter, doing things just to spite the other, but no one has the right to hurt her brother.

A private joke amongst Adrien's friends that everyone around him has fallen victim to an akumatized except him. Their only rational explaination is that Adrien is just too sweet to be akumatized.

Sass definitely runs in the Agreste family. Just imagine the razor-edged retorts, the witty comebacks dripping with sarcasm, Butterfly would yell through the mouth of her supervillains. The venom laced barbs she would trade with Ladybug.

Oh how they would hate each other with a passion. Ladybug is her nemesis, but there's a mutual respect acquired with the status: a badass woman recognizes another badass woman.

She lowkey ships Ladynoir: “Oh gross. Would you two kiss already, but for the love of god stop flirting!! You’re making me gag.”

During daytime when her Butterfly part-time job is over, she’s a boss girl, modeling like her brother, heiress to “Gabriel” TM, still controlled by her father but she’s older, she has emancipated a little.

She takes Adrien on shopping trips to clear his mind, dotting on him whenever she can. She picks him up from school in her blue convertible: “climb in loser I’m breaking you out of your guild cage”.

She’s a social butterfly (get it, get it), people actually LOVE her. Adrien’s friends thinks she’s cool and all. Bougee queen. Each of her IG posts are like reposted with “GOALS AF” as caption.

She loves Marinette designs, she recognize talent, if she can help boost her burgeoning career why not. She’s also not as oblivious as her brother, she knows he has a huuuuuge crush on her and tease him constantly about it. “I’m telling you she’s just a friend!” “You’ve just had a two minutes monologue about how soft and silky her hair looks, Adrichou, come on!”

Guyyyyyys, can you imagine the angst if she ever find out Chat noir is actually her baby brother??? Or better yet, the actual judgment when she realize how much of a dork he truly is... or Chat noir sasses a villain and she’s like: “hold up... I’ve heard that somewhere!!!”

Like clearly she had her doubts because they’re close and he can’t lie to save his life, but she had underestimated the level of dorkiness in her brother.

“You can’t tell me you’ve been roaming the streets of Paris in a full bodytight leather suit on, it has a bell on it. I saw your browsing history are you channeling your sub side?”

Adrien Augreste: Flirt

Okay, that was completely not how the model twins expected the day to go. Sure, they did now what they were doing when they proposed the challenge to Alya and Nina, but they made a terrible mistake, The models didn't take into account the undying love and adoration they felt for their respective partners. Thinking back, they probably should have seen this coming. Maybe they would have if they hadn't been so blinded by their cockiness and that cat pride they lately showed off so much.

So, the day begun like anyother, they waked up, had breakfast, prepared for the day and set off to high school. They already had spent about four years now and their relationships had only deepened with the pass of time. Some things have changed of course, like Nino finally asking Alya out, the model's aunt coming back to town or Nina and Alen falling for eachother in what probably was the weirdest business-like way to do it. But most of it was pretty normal. As their hero lives, Hawk Moth was saved from the curse, but thanks to a new villainess they didn't retreat the miraculous. The new villainess name was Monarch and she seemed to be against Hawk Moth but she also demanded the miraculous. Thanks to that, new heroes have risen and they had become quite a cheerful team. Thought their secret identities remaind unrevealed, the bugs knew their true identities as they had granted them the miraculous.

The new holders were also twins and had taken upon the miraculous of the fox, turtle and bee. The foxy twins were known as Rena Rouge and El Zorro, the cats liked them but they seemed to get along better with the bugs. The bees holders, which their identity was no secret as they publicly revealed themselves as the Burgeoise twins, had chosen the names of Queen Bee and Drone King, the cats tolerated them sometimes when they weren't actively flirting with the bugs. And last, but not least, the turtle duo were known as Carapace and Salihafa and frankly, the cats loved them.

Anyway, they already had arrived school when they saw Alya and Nino having a moment while Alen and Nina were happily ignoring them as they held hands. That's when they had probably the worst idea in their lifes. they decided to challenge Alya and Nina to see who was the best with pick up lines by telling one to their respective partner and whoever made them blush the most would win. As they had expected, the blogger and the ballerina were totally enthusiasmated with the idea and accepted inmediately without an inch of doubt. Nino and Alen were... Less excited about it, but they accepted nevertheless. Now all they had to do is to wait for their so loved designers and they'd make gala of their flirt talent as the parisians most infamous flirty heroes.

Marinette and Marin finally came, late as per usual, as their lessons had already started. As soon as the models saw them, they knew they had messed up. Both of the lovely designers were wearing new clothes today, probably their latest desings, and they definetly made Adrien and Adrienne's heart stop. If Adrienne had to define her boyfriend's new clothes, she would probably say something along the way of 'hot' or 'badass'. On the other hand, Adrien would describe Marinette's latest outfit as 'kawaii af' or 'breath taking'. However, both new how much screwed they were and apparently, Nina and Alya realised that too as they sent them the smuggest grin they had.

Unluckily for the models, the game was on and lunch time was unevitably coming bringing the model twins doom along. They met on the front gate with the others, Adrienne and Adrien regretting their mistake. Nina and Alya went off to find something as Alen and Nino explained to the designers about the game they were going to play. At the same time, Marin and Marinette turned to face the models and sent them a glare that made the models feel a chill climbing throught their spines. Before the designers could masacrate the models, Nina and Alya came back with Max and Mathilde to, in their own words, serve as righteous judges of their little flirting conquest.

"Now" said Alya with a smug face. "Shall we begin?"

"In order to finish this quickly, Max will judge his classmates and I'll judge mine. The winners will be subjected to a final trial by both of us" explained Mathilde.

"Sounds fair" said Nino.

Nino was the first to participate and he approached Alya, lifted her chin and said "I may be the DJ, but it's you who spin my whole world" Alya did blush and Adrien cheered on his smoothness.

Meanwhile, Alen was also the first participant of his class and kneeled in front of Nina as he said "I will need to report you to the dance authorities, because those moves you have have stolen my heart". Nina blushed and giggled at thatand Marin patted Alen on his back.

Then it was payback time. Nina grabbed Alen's shirt by the neck and said "If I'm a thief, you must be the capo, because my moves and heart are only yours". Alen gulped down and blushed furiously. Alya was slyer and just whispered something to Nino, who blushed and put down his cap accepting his defeat. Now it came the models turn and they had to take several breathes in order to focus and channel their inner cat selves to make their best attempt. Adrienne, determinate to win at all costs, hugged Marin and put on her best puppy face before saying "I used to chase butterflies, but thanks to you I always feel them in my stomach". Marin whole body turned red and he looked away out of pure embarrassement, which made Adrienne blush out of his cuteness and Nina laugh her ass of.

At the same time, Adrien put on his most charming face and faced Mari to say "My vet said that this mangy cat is lacking vitamin U, so will you take meowt?" Marinette helplessly blushed as she and the others groaned and rolled their eyes.

"Awfully punny as always dude" said Nino groaning, now less blushy.

"Well, at first, I was going to go with 'Are you an angel? Because I'm allergic to feathers' but it was to cliché. And what can I say, I'm the cat-" tried to say Adrien, but Marinette put her finger on his lips to shut him.

"Now, now kitty, don't you think it's my turn?" said Mari teasingly.

"She is correct, she still has to flirt back Adrien" said Max.

Marinette placed her hands around Adrien's neck and said "No matter how mangy you are, I want to spend with you our nine lifes". Adrien instanly stiffened and turned beet red, completely dazled by the pick up line combined with Marinette's killer cuteness.

Meanwhile, Marin hugged Adrienne and told her "Are you a drug? Because I never can get enough of you". Obviously, Adrienne also stiffened and blushed furiously at that instant, feeling like she was melting into a pile of goo.

"Great, now that we finished, you'll be impartially judged by your boyfriend or girlfriend's reaction" declared the science twins.

"Nina and Alen were good and their reactions were truly amusing" said Mathilde dilligently. "But the winner is undoubtely Marin. Even if his reaction was extreme, that same reaction made Adrienne blush and when he flirted with her, it was clear that she was breathless".

"As for my side, Adrien flirtation made everyone groan and roll ther eyes, but he managed to also make Marinette blush. Alya was subtle and powerful, but since we couldn't exactly hear her pick up line, she is discualified. Nino was also great, but Mari triggered the best reactior on her companion" said Max.

"Now, for the final trial, Marinette and Marin will have to stand against their partner flirtations once more, and the one who is less affected will win this competiton" said Mathilde.

"I'm not-" began Marin, but Alen set him a look telling him he had no chance of backing now.

Smiling, Adrienne hugged him back and told him "Are you breathing my medicine? Because I want you close to overdose on the air you breathe". With that Marin shaked a bit as his skin turned into the brightest red they had ever seen.

"For the moment, that's a total fail" said Max.

"But Mari still has a go and she may fail harder" remarked Mathide.

"Hey!" complained Marinette.

Adrien booped her nose to get her attention. Then he placed his hand on her cheek and caressed it carefully before he said "I know we are still young, but I can't wait until the day I'll Mari you". Hearing that, Mari instantly turned red and fainted, Adrien barely reacting in time to catch her.

"And she did, just as predicted" said Mathilde.

"I can believe that our little angel won the game, but I'm glad to know we've surpassed our dear sunshines" said Nina.

"Agreed. We had to teach them not to mess with our flirting technques" said Alya.

"Do I have to remind you that you were disqualified Alya?" said Adrienne, as the gang engaged on their usual banter.

!! NEW EPISODE OF MIRACULOUS LADYBUG (BACKWARDER) SPOILERS AHEAD !!

I’m really glad we finally get to see Master Fu have someone he loves/has some type of relationship with other than Wayzz or Ladybug and Chat Noir cause he’s the sweetest old man and deserves the best. But now I’m sad that him and Marianne can’t be together all cause of stupid Hawkmoth, and so ig we just have to hope one day he’ll be happy with her. :’)

And can I just say I KNEW AS SOON AS MARINETTE WAS HANDING OUT THE THREE SEPARATE LETTERS SHE WOULD MESS IT UP CONSIDERING SHE JUST GRABBED ONE AND HANDED IT TO A PERSON WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT LIKE SIS COME ON

I wanted to slap Gabriel’s bitch ass so hard no joke he’s an ass to everyone.

I wanted to beat those stupid kids on the train with Mari that made fun of her letter and loving someone as well like tf shut your faces you jerks.

Marinette blushing multiple times during this episode was the cutest thing ever and my heart😭💞

Just the fact that for a little while there Marinette had the courage to confess to Adrien (but then it got taken away cause she’s a cute little dumbass who didn’t check the letter before handing it to him) is PROGRESS and it’s makes my heart go uwu

The whole interaction between Adrien and Marinette when she gave him the letter had my heart SOARING cause he was so genuinely interested in what he had to say uwuwuwuwuwuwu

And when at the end Adrien handed the meds to her and was super sweet and chill and said he ‘spent the whole weekend walking around looking for it’ even if it was freaking constipation pills proves he such a freaking gentleman UGH

Marianne Lenoir is honestly so pretty and such a cute old lady and I just wanted to hug her??

Also, not really spoilers about the episode but, DOES ANYONE ELSE NOTICE HOW ‘MARIANNE’ NAME IS SIMILAR TO ‘MARINETTE’ AND ‘LENOIR’ HAS ‘NOIR’ IN THE NAME AS IN ‘CHAT NOIR’?? UM??? I’m sorry but I freaked out a little when I realized this like this is most likely intentional??

Anyways I honestly really loved that episode and can’t wait for another episode in three days we’re truly being blessed !! :))

some of y’all really are giving this writing way too much credit and are putting your brilliant in-depth grown af perspective on this basic af kids show and I promise you it’s not doing what you think it’s doing. what you hoped. I’m sorry it’s the truth. I wanted better too so I’m salty but now I realize I was a fool for expecting anything less. 

I wanted Kagami to be a great example of how girls come in all types and she was that cool, go-getter type and I respect that. I’m competitive, I’m ambitious and I say what I mean. I can be intimidating, so I can relate. 

BUT 

If I like someone, I do my own thing and go after them (or don’t, depends). But I keep it in my own lane. Getting in another girl’s face about it or deciding who “deserves” the guy I like is not a part of that personality type, it’s just mean girls shit. People loving this because they’re saying Kagami is just blunt etc. and trying to shame others for reacting negatively to her behavior are missing the point. 

That being: The writing WANTS you to dislike Kagami and she’s here to push the love square plot and create drama. Not asking you to hate HER, and who knows, maybe she and Mari will be friends at the end of all of this, but just know that right now it’s not a good look. And don’t sugarcoat her behavior in a positive light cuz honestly there’s being a badass bitch and just being a bitch and young kids watching this are not going to differentiate. Mari is insecure and Kagami hit where it hurts. What child is going to read into this as a positive interaction? I’m an adult and you won’t see me thanking any of my bullies for secretly knocking sense into me via sharp commentary. So you should be concerned about this portrayal of her, not applauding it. No positive girl friendships OR positive girl COMPETITIVENESS rep here. You want to subvert tropes so bad but it hardly matters if the writing is clinging to them for dear life. Kagami was put there as a love rival. That’s literally it. I think she deserves better and if you want different kinds of personalities not to be villainized in female characters you better talk to the writers and not to the fans that are reacting pretty reasonably based on how things went down in Frozer. Kagami as the go-getter girl could’ve been done WAY better than this.  She went from cool-as-a-cucumber with a sassy snark to kicking another girl while she’s down over a boy and Riposte Kagami would never do something so class-less I’m sorry. Not my Kagami! 

(also most fans, myself included had different hopes for Kagami and came to love her for her potential and are trying to salvage this situation and spin it, and I understand boo boo but realize you got played. no les wingwoman icon here. Just another catty showdown over a boy like we constantly stated we DID NOT WANT when this character was announced. I’m not happy about it either but i’m telling you this isn’t pos rep, the writing just let you down sis) 

 Also it’s bullshit asking Mari to get her shit together via a girl saying mean-spirited competitive quips to them about not making moves. IF Kagami is misunderstanding and thinks Marinette is the one hurting Adrien, she should focus less on showing up Mari and more on making sure her date is having a good time. Adrien is also the one kinda acting like a dick here (and as Chat) because he’s painting himself a victim when LB made it SUPER clear where they stood. Kagami doesn’t have this info ofc but we do, so we need to also be like Adrien...wtf. He’s also creating this tension with his shit communication skills and then ends up not having to even deal with the consequences. This is of course going with some fans’ claims she’s mad because she thinks Marinette is stringing Adrien along and breaking his heart. Either way it’s a mess and Kagami didn’t necessarily do or say anything majorly Chlo-level mean, but her intentions aren’t like deeply rooted in anything pleasant either. 

Kagami is not giving Mari “tough love advice”. She isn’t her friend. Her actions don’t have positive intentions so you can’t act like Mari should be thankful because Kagami isn’t trying to help her.  She doesn’t like her and she’s going out of her way to whisper smug comments because Mari gets on her nerves. I understand her motives and her feelings here but that doesn’t change it from being mean-spirited. Kagami likes Adrien, but can see Adrien being super focused on Mari because he’s an oblivious ding dong, and is annoyed. She SHOULD be annoyed at Adrien who is being a less-than-stellar date, but instead she’s taking out her frustration on Marinette instead, which is strike 3 for me. Cuz that’s the same shit I’ve been seeing for over a decade, it’s not new so don’t act like Kagami’s character archetype is innovative.  It would be if they didn’t portray it like this. You can have a “love rival” that’s still a bomb ass bitch and is confident in herself and doesn’t need to sabotage anyone.  It’s now confirmed Kagami thinks Marinette isn’t worthy of Adrien. So that also shot down the wingwoman Kagami theories we were nurturing since the end of Riposte. 

My main complaint? You don’t have to put other girls down to affirm yourself. You shouldn’t. So girls/women watching and not liking Kagami is absolutely a valid reaction. Esp while the boys are left to do their emotional growing without this catty nonsense in the mix.

Everything I loved about Miraculous Ladybug s2e4

(spoilers)

- Tikki’s super cute spit dance

- Marinette being so genre savvy that she knows the signs of a surprise bday party

- Her Dad proving that she gets her no-chill from him while getting her zen and leadership skills from her mom (THAT FISTBUMP THO)

- Marinette badass biker grandmama (extraness and badassery apparently runs in the family)

- Everything about Marinette’s bday party. She’s really loved. Everyone in that class is so precious, even Chloe, which makes me a bit sad that Sabrina and her weren't there. Everyone defending and protecting her. Rose calling her the sweetest girl ever (which coming from Rose is a high compliment since I consider her the sweetest in the class). Ivan and Kim just went and casually lifted her so she could blow the candles on her big ass cake. Man, I want to be in that class. 

- ALL OF THE MARICHAT

- NO, SEE HE TONED DOWN THE FLIRTING, BUT DID YOU SEE THAT LITTLE BOW AND KNEEL BEFORE HE WHISKED HER AWAY? I think it’s becoming a thing between them. He didn’t call her princess but princess-carried her, and comments how she must be a sweet girl since all of her classmates badly want to protect her. Of course he counts himself too. 

- The fairytale theme continues when the ‘witch’ asks where a cat would keep something HE DIDN’T WANT TO LOSE. I internally screeched at this part. Of course, it has to be a tower. 

- The way he went after Befena when he realized Marinette was in danger again, without even waiting for Ladybug, when he’d usually wait for her lead like when Chloe and Alya were in danger. 

- ALL OF THE ADRINETTE

- MY HEART JUST COULDN’T TAKE IT. Adrien who’s so used to getting bought gifts, giving something HE ESPECIALLY MADE, as a gift to Marinette to make it more meaningful. Not only that but he made it to match Marinette’s charm she gifted to him. The fact that he keeps a pink girly charm with him at all times and he made his gift charm in such a way that Marinette would be reminded of him...!! Their first bday gifts to each other are something they both made. I love their thoughtfulness and continuity. 

- Not only that, he was the one to remind Marinette about his gift as if excited for her to open it up in front of everybody. Does this boy not realize what that looks like? It looks like they gifted each other couple charms, HANDMADE COUPLE CHARMS. If Nathanael still had a crush on Marinette he’d be a sad puppy. Alya would be fist pumping. Adrien’s smooth af. Probably because he still hasn’t realized his feelings (when he does though, I cannot wait for his dorky blushiness to reach Marinette-level when he looks back on how he’s been treating Marinette all this time).

- AND THAT HEART-MELTING LOOK AT THE END. YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT BOY IS NOT HEAD OVER HEELS FOR OUR GIRL.
