Authors note: I tried to steer away from angst for this chapter of the series, because that's honestly all I tend to write so I hope you guys enjoy. I loved Jun's teaser video a lot so I hope I did it justice, enjoy.
Junhui never believed in fate or destiny, an outside force that held any sort of impact on his decisions or on his life. He always felt in charge of his life, even if there were difficulties along the way. He just never fell for it, he was way too skeptical. That was until he met you, well not really, he met you but never in person. You were his assigned pen-pal given to him in class, halfway across the world. You were his destiny, he knew it. It was odd because he had never used the word or had any intention of using it but hey. There's always a first for everything.
He wrote to you about his life in Korea as a Chinese trainee for a mildly known company, about his hardships and his exhaustion as he sought to chase his dream. He wrote to you about his mother and father that worried about him for they were a country away, he wrote to you about his brother that looked up to him and his best friend the other Chinese trainee that was following his dream as well. You wrote to him about your seemingly normal life, about your friends and your activities in school, about the stress you faced because of your schoolwork. You confided in one another and slowly through the revelation of one another you two fell, you fell for each other. It was like that for almost three years then his letters stopped coming so often, your teacher said that he wasn't attending class so often because of his career and you were saddened but happy for the boy who moved to a completely new country to follow his dream.
He sat in the dining room table of the dorm, the package that had arrived earlier now open and sprawled on the table. He picked them up, letter after letter that you had wrote to him in hopes that he would receive them and read them, it had been a while. After his debut, there was no time to attend school on a daily, he attended once in awhile but he had a tutor so it wasn't necessary. His hands played with the heavily damaged paper, that he recognized so easily, your handwriting smudged.
Letter #5 May 22 2015 Junie, Even though you are being alone remember we are on your side and don't be afraid of all the fears you have. Yeah? You'll do great I know it. I'll look forward to seeing your performance. -Y/N
Letter #25 June 29 2017 Junie, It's been awhile hasn't it? You are so famous and successful...you see I called it. Anyway, I'm in Seoul for study abroad, I'll be here for almost six months and I'm reaching out to you...well because...I would love to meet the famous Junie, my pen pal, who hates it when I call him Junie. I hoped that one day we could finally meet even though we haven't been in touch. I hope you don't mind. I'm staying in the university dorms, if you would like to drop by. -Y/N
Once he finished reading he knew what he had to do. He got into a taxi cab to go find you, you who was only a few miles away compared to a thousand miles away. He was anxious and nervous, the feeling reminded him of how he felt when he was about to debut. You were that feeling. He walked into the elevator, his surroundings not that enticing to him, he was in an old building looking for the one that meant everything. He didn't know what to expect as he walked door past door in the somewhat silent hallway and that's when he arrived to where it said in the letter: Room 1013. He stood there for a while before he decided to finally knock on the door, his breathing was kind of erratic and his palms were a bit sweaty as he heard someone approach the door. And as the door opened, he was faced with a new destiny.
