“least favorite” isn’t anywhere close to bad. it just shows how damn hard the competition is going, but we’re talking about gold medals all around for each actor i’ve seen portray the doctor so far.

#and again on acting alone. i think i might prefer him over tennant in the long run. #which isnt saying tenannt is bad either its saying like. i just love them both but i love what smith brings to the table just slightly more. #i dont really put the war doctor on my rankings very seriously because he only had the one rpisode. and it was. a bad episode. #but his performance endeared me enough to him eith his haunted eyes and the weight he’s carrying that i would. possibly with a bias. #put him between ten and eleven. #and then first place depends on the day but i think twelve has pulled ahead of nine just barely. like damn. capaldi Gets It man. eccleston #also Got It in similar ways but obviously his shorter tenure did give him less tjme to show it off and twelve’s gotten three seasons to show #just how fantastically capaldi pulls together this grieving weirdo. this man who loves so hard it burns him up. who is so scared of his own #goodness and losing it. he’s so good guys. #god i cant wait to see where jodie falls on this list im really excited for her take. and mr gatwa too. #and the classic who guys obviously. i mean i already like the guy they get to play One in the audios and im really curious how he measures #up against hartnell(?)’s original performance #i know the vibes will be very different than those of nuwho but im excited :)

I've some catching up to do 🏃‍♂️

I basically ended up taking a complete hiatus from tumblr for several months when my migraines got real bad last year. And then things, as things do, kept on happening. Bastards.

I haven't looked much at the tag yet and I still have to catch up with the first five? Chapters and relearn the ropes so to speak, but hopefully I'll see some familiar faces around this year, and new ones 👀

Last time I couldn't get to the end but what I did get through was a lot of fun and the best part was what everyone else was saying and drawing and discussing! That's what I missed the most, was talking and joking with everyone. Lotr is probably my Favorite Story, and to have this in-time community readthrough is such a treasure. As usual, three cheers for @sindar-princeling for organizing. It's a hell of a feat 😁

I do want to say this really quick: one thing that does sadden me is the split difference between which voice actors seem to be allowed to join live action crews and which don't. Bo-Katan and Zeb and others have been able to join major casts, but Ezra and Sabine and Ahsoka's actors were almost left behind. I understand the reasoning for some of it, Ashley definitely didn't have the same face as Ahsoka, and fans were wanting to see Ahsoka played by a woman of color for years, but it is unfortunate that the VAs in general are being pushed to the side. (Tiya in particular feels like an odd choice to recast, given that she looks pretty similar to Sabine to begin with, and she already has experience in screen acting.)

I hope Ashley, Taylor, and Tiya get to have other prominent roles in the franchise some day, even if they have to step aside from their VA characters.

There's something here that I can't quite put my finger on, but it's been bothering me for some time.

this has been a difficult, awful week only for it to end friday at 3pm with an invitation to interview for a management position next week.

#like of all the times to finally get an interview #and im extremely preoccupied with something #plus ofc today is my only day off #i feel like i have no time for regular job stuff ive been so stressed out #then add that this had been one of the worst weeks of my life #and that it will continue next week #im already dreading tuesday and then after tuesday to see what happens #and then i have a program with my director thursday i havent even started preparing for #and then friday i have the interview #literally all of my brain space has been used this week worrying myself sick and now i need to prepare for an interview #todays my only day to go shopping for an interview outfit since i work sun-thurs #i havent interviewed in almost 6 years #and im not like completely sold on this job #i just cant believe everything seems to be happening all at once #literally any other time i woukdve been so much more excited and chill #this fall has been awful #this whole year has kinda fucking sucked tbh #at least i did get a manager interview though i guess 😩 #i was starting to think i was never gonna even get the opportunity to try for the next level #me

Idk if anyone else is, but I’m actually shocked that I’m keeping up with the always Charlie sets ahdjffl not for lack of love for Charlie or anything, but just because it’s usually so hard for me to stick with a series of ideas like that.

I think it really shows how different Charlie is to me, like… I’ve never once made an always Charlie set bc I felt like I had to or just bc I wanted to put one out. They’re always a labor of love. Every time I make one, I’m giggling and sighing and screaming the whole way through! They’re always a joy, and when I’m done, I always feel even more in love with Charlie than ever before. I look forward to making them.

And when I say that, I’m sure you guys are like, “Of course you keep making them then! If you love it it makes sense!” But the thing is, I love making all kinds of f/o things. And I’ve loved making things for other f/o’s before. But it’s never been that I can keep up this kind of steam, and love doing every single one.

I’m almost 10% of the way through every episode of aIways sunny! That’s huge! I thought maybe I’d make a few and then not feel like it anymore. But I still get so excited to make them!! And I really feel like I’m gonna make a huge dent in the show, if not do the whole entire thing! Because not only is it fun to make all the sets, but I enjoy looking back at them too! I get so much joy out of going through them when I need a smile! They just!! Make me happy!!

And! That’s a big deal for me! It’s one of the reasons why I feel like Charlie really is so different to me than any other f/o has been! I just never get sick of him! I spend every day thinking about him and making sets and drawing him and listening to his playlist, and every morning I wake up loving him even more than the last. It’s just!! Amazing!!
