My Week 1/22/24-1/28/24
My week started off rough and it sucked because I was humiliated and embarrassed at work. It was literally the worst case scenario and I wished I had gone back in time and changed it so I hadn’t been embarrassed like that. It felt like it was my fault. I talked to my friends and a coworker about it and they told me I hadn’t deserved it even though I had done something wrong, and that I should file an unofficial complaint. I’m still working up the courage but hearing my friends say “I’ll fight these people for you” made me feel good.
The rest of the week was pretty good. I was haunted by the humiliation for about three days but by Saturday it was pretty much gone. I went to a cosplay convention and met up with my online friends and we hung out all day and made tiktoks and talked. I had a few moments where I didn’t know what to say because they were talking to other cosplayers they knew who I didn’t know. I did try to make conversation with the people in the group I didn’t know, though I don’t know if I’ll be close friends with them, but at least casual acquaintances. We went out for fast food towards the end of the con and some eleven or twelve year old boy said “nice haircut” about my wig (these kids have no filter, I swear) and my friend was like “I’ll fight them for you” which was a joke that I appreciated the sentiment behind.
I’ve come down from the “con high” and I am glad that I had successful socialization and learned that other people’s fears are similar to mine when it comes to socializing. I hope that me and my cosplay friends can meet up outside of a convention because that would be really fun, and they seem to want to. I can’t wait for the next convention in March, and I think I found some of my cosplay people- one of my friends and I want to do a cosplay duo together! I’m one step closer to having my ideal people in my life.

There was this time I ask my boyfriend if I could buy a thousand peso thing. Then he told me "oo" then sabi ko weh? Kaya ko? Bakit? Ano ba yung nabili ko na? Then he said those things na binibili ko nga. Natawa ko bigla kasi it's me na will never regret what I bought.
That is back when I was in college ofc but until now. I never regret to buy things that I need and sometimes wants even though pricey. If you know how to spend in pricey stuff but you feel guilty then I can say you are poor! You always say you are broke but you paid too pricey coffee. The point is your poor mind, not your wallet. You see the effects? It is domino! Buy and stay guilty, buy your needs you are still guilty, buy your wants then you are more than guilty because after all spending! You found your wallet zero 😂. It is also the same feeling when you risk your money in your asset. You are afraid to risk, you are guilty to spend it without assurance but sometimes okay na lang kasi wala ka din choice e.g. after a month of working then you'll get your salary, before it gave na cut off na yung sa SSS, Phil health and Pag ibig. You do not have a choice kasi ganon na yun ee.
Money is part of the journey but do not live as cheapskate. Consider everything but do not tighten your belt. Be wise!

Tinnitus is a medical term that refers to a noise generated inside the head rather than in the environment. It is a common problem that affects millions of people around the world. Statistics say that 36 million people suffer from tinnitus in the United States, so it can be considered a fairly common condition. Other studies conducted in different countries also show that the prevalence of tinnitus ranges from 5% to 15% of the adult population.
Tinnitus can originate from various places in the body, including the ear or the brain itself, and along the path between the ear and the brain. The noise can be of different types, such as a whistle, a buzz, a hiss, or a roar. It can be constant or intermittent, and can vary in intensity and frequency.
There are two main types of tinnitus: non-pulsatile (subjective) and pulsatile (objective). Non-pulsatile tinnitus is caused by abnormal activity in the auditory cortex of the brain responsible for sound processing. It is often the result of hearing loss, exposure to loud noises, or ear related disorders. Pulsatile tinnitus is vascular in nature and involves noise from the blood vessels near the ear. It is often caused by abnormal blood vessels or abnormal vasculature problems, such as tumors.
For most people, tinnitus is temporary and goes away quickly. But for some people, tinnitus is chronic and can significantly affect quality of life. Tinnitus can affect people's lives in many ways, depending on the intensity, frequency and type of noise they hear. Some possible consequences of tinnitus in people's lives are: Physical and mental health problems, such as fatigue, stress, changes in sleep and concentration, memory problems, depression, anxiety, or irritability. Hearing problems, such as difficulty hearing real sounds, understanding speech, or locating the source of sounds. Communication problems, such as difficulty holding a conversation, participating in social or professional activities, or isolating yourself from others. Emotional well-being problems, such as low self-esteem, frustration, anger or hopelessness.
To prevent tinnitus, it is important to avoid or reduce the factors that can cause or aggravate the problem. Some prevention measures you can take are: Limit exposure to loud noises, which can damage the hearing cells in the inner ear. If you can't get away from loud sounds, use appropriate hearing protection, such as earplugs or earmuffs. Lower the volume of electronic devices such as television, radio, or headphones, and avoid prolonged use of these devices. Let your ear rest from time to time. Have your ears cleaned regularly by a professional to prevent the accumulation of substances that can clog the external auditory canal. Properly treat ear infections, which can cause inflammation and irritation in the auditory system. Avoid excessive intake of medications, alcohol, and caffeine, which can have ototoxic effects or alter blood circulation in the ear. Avoid smoking, which can impair vascular health and increase the risk of tinnitus. Controlling cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension or atherosclerosis, which can affect blood flow in the ear and cause pulsatile tinnitus. Take care of mental health by avoiding stress and seeking psychological support if necessary. Stress can make tinnitus worse and cause anxiety, depression, or irritability.

You can't pretend to love others if you pollute yourself; philautía, self-love is very important. Now, of course, there is the risk to become a narcisist, but it's up to oneself to not do so.
