My body has completely replaced every skin cell. Three times over since last we spoke, ticking off another 28 days since I last glanced your way desperate to memorize the exact shade your eyes are. Effectively I am no longer the person I was when we last kissed. The skin you touched is no longer mine, fallen and returned back to the dust from which we came, to the celestial beginnings above… if only my heart worked in the same sense. How I would love to replace the cells that keep your memory alive within me. That spell out your name on the frosted glass in my bathroom. The very cells that keep your tinder lit.

one thing i need to start living by is “become the thing that you want” if i want friends who throw themed parties maybe i should start throwing those parties. if i want someone who writes me love letters maybe i should start writing letters for the people i love. if i want to hang out at museums and pretty cafes maybe i should invite my friends to these places. and maybe even then i won’t find the kind of people i want to be around. but then i would have become the exact person i want to be around. and maybe that’s good enough.

You know how in mermaid stories, the mermaid is typically the dumber one? I present to you the "and they were both scientists" plot.

Basically the concept is that mermechs and regular mechs can't talk to each other. But luckily even if they speak different languages they still use the same math~

nbc hannibal is a romcom purely because the central conflict results from hannibal not understanding his feelings for will and being a total loser about it because he’s never had a friend or been in love before which makes him act so silly and do the most insane things that will interprets being framed for murder as hannibal having something against him (as anyone would), and this series of misunderstandings is not resolved until hannibal’s ex girlfriend and former psychiatrist tells will that hannibal is so in love with him it makes him look stupid. after that will does not hesitate to break hannibal out of jail and douse himself in blood which is this show’s equivalent to the protagonist running to the airport to stop their love interest from leaving the country and marrying someone else before they’ve had the chance to confess that they’ve loved them ever since they’ve known them

Eddie posts a Tiktok of an old home video taken almost right after he bought a camcorder. The band has just come off the stage and they’re walking down a hallway, amped up and loud. Just boys being boys.

Gareth is filming and Eddie is talking to the camera like, “Everybody always ask me. They say, ‘Eddie, what’s it like having your boyfriend at one of your shows.’ Or they would ask me that if they won’t skin me alive for having a boyfriend.”
