Life just kicked me in the butt, and I haven't had the time or energy to get more incorrect quotes done for this blog (I'm so sorry to everyone who is waiting on them).
I injured my hand and whilst it has healed up well, it was rather traumatic to go through and has left a scar. No matter how big or small a scar is - its a new addition to your body and takes time to adjust to. So I'm processing, but I'm thankful it wasn't worse than it could've been.
When things have calmed down I'll get back to getting funny/chaotic Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit content sorted out!!
Ah bless you - my editing recently has been entirely focused around DinLuke & Star Wars. I'll of course be getting back to my LOTR/TH edits too, but I have a lot of inspo and creativity for this ship at the moment - so that's where I'm at.

One day, Aragorn shows up with blue hair. Not fully blue, just a few streaks.
Naturally, Legolas immediately decides that he has to dye his hair because no one can have more fabulous hair than him. He dyes it green. It looks pretty good.
This fad goes through the Fellowship, Gimli bleaching his hair and doing purple streaks, Frodo goes with some tasteful blue tips, Sam matches Legolas with some green streaks (“Us plant lovers have to stick together, Mr. Elf.”), Merry and Pippin squabble over it but eventually Merry gets red highlights and Pippin gets orange streaks. Boromir gets blue to match Aragorn.
The real shock comes a week later when Gandalf shows up with ombré pink ends.
Pippin immediately insists on changing his hair to match.
Eventually, the entire Fellowship has some amount of pink hair. Legolas went all out and dyed all his hair pink.
Thranduil was furious.

Aziraphale loves all books, even modern ones
I get so annoyed whenever I see a “Aziraphale is a book snob, he wouldn’t read [insert modern fictional book here]”
He collects first editions, he has specially signed books from the author themselves, and you know the best way to get them? If he bought the book when it first released, when it was modern and new!
Why would he wait to see if a book gains a following or some society-given value? He wouldn’t care about that! He just wants a good book, with a good story.
He would buy the book when it’s first released, an instant first edition. He would go to book fairs and book signings to meet the authors and gush about their work, a possible friendship and a signed work afterwards. It would also give Aziraphale a way to learn all the new modern sayings, such as “Played for a Sucker” or the hilarious “ Lick(Kick) Butts” reference.
So, yes, Aziraphale probably owns all the books of Harry Potter, of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, of Star Trek, of Star Wars, of the Chronicles of Narnia, of Pooh Bear, of James Bond, of any other “modern” classics we love to read. Heck, he probably has a few comic books hidden away just to understand what the appeal of them was.

6k Contest: Fandom Sorting
We recently reached 6k followers and I wanted to do something to celebrate it. After making a poll to determine what, the winning option was ‘fandom sorting’ so I’ll make a contest to see who wins it. I decided to do like I did for 5k and give you a lot of freedom to submit anything for the contest. Here’s all the info you need to know:
Prize
There will be one winner or several, depending on how many people participate. The winner(s) will provide me with their description (personality, likes, etc) and a number of fandoms from my list and I will sort them for those fandoms. You can be as specific as you’d like about what you want me to sort you for, but the result could look something like this:
Lord of the Rings → race: hobbit
Divergent → faction: dauntless
Harry Potter → Hogwarts house: Gryffindor
How to participate
You can participate with anything creative as long as it’s related to the blog, that includes my fandoms (x), my fanfiction (x) and my ocs (x). Some of the things you can submit are:
