Dress Codes Explained

I feel like I’ve created enough templates for your mind development, routines, habits, etc. I’m getting bored with putting out the same content in a different manner so now I’m going to start switching up my content. I’m going to focus more on how one can carry themselves, socialise, etc etc.

My first article under this segment “Cultural Education” here will be about dress codes. You will find this segment on my pinned post.

Culturally, dress codes differ from one another. The western world is generally more tolerant towards showing of skin, for instance; but if you were to attend formal events in Asia and the Middle East, I’d highly, highly recommend you opt for a more modest look.

This is a very brief breakdown on what a woman can wear and when.

1. Casual

Meaning: low-key, but not like you just woke up.

* Sundress

* Long/ midi skirt

* Tailored pants or nice jeans (not ripped, distressed, acid wash- plain and simple)

* Tailored shorts

* Plain T-shirt (no graphics), polo t-shirt, turtleneck

* Button-down shirt

2. Dressy

Meaning: no jeans, generally use of lighter colours

* Skirt (not bum short)

* Tailored trousers

* Dress

* Co ord sets

* Jumpsuits

* Sundresses

3. Semi formal

Meaning: dressier than your corporate office job, but more casual than a formal gown.

* LBD (but not too little)

* Maxi skirt

* Cocktail dress

4. Business

Meaning: what a typical office senior person would wear.

* Suit

* Dress (modest; at least knee length; not too short)

* Dress with a jacket

* Blazer and a skirt

* Stockings (optional in summer)

* 3-4 inch heels / loafers / flats

5. Business casual

Meaning: what one would typically wear everyday to a corporate job that does NOT abide by Gen Z clothing (meaning slightly more conservative)

* Skirt, khakis, or pants

* Open-collar shirt, knit shirt or sweater (no spaghetti straps or décolleté)

* Dress (again, modest)

6. Black tie

Meaning: formal evening events, generally after 6 pm.

* Formal (floor length) evening gown (avoid slits, too tight dresses)

* Dressy cocktail dress

— my thoughts on tsukishima kei from haikyuu !!

i posted this on twt (@/hinodehotline) but i’d like tumblrs thoughts ..

first before we get into this, disclaimers:

- personal thoughts , mixing a few headcanons !

- might be slightly ooc

- don’t take this too seriously, not a professional !

- messy / informal thread , kinda

- thread on his background / character , and a bit of his relationships !

- i can’t remember episodes and seasons, i just wrote this from pure memory and a bit of rewatching of haikyuu

anyways so let’s get begin

— tsukishima’s background -> character

so while rewatching haikyuu, when we got to tsukishima’s background that’s where i saw a lot of complains ? like , people saying he could’ve had it worse, and how his personality doesn’t fit what happened to him.

i honestly think otherwise? because again he was a kid, and being lied to as a kid is one of the worst things that could happen at the time. well in my opinion at least! the fact it was a lie makes thought they were is absolutely heartbreaking , specially for a kid !

well yeah , i guess it’s something he should leave behind by them but believe it or not tsukishima is an immature guy LMAO .. at least from my perspective of it? sure he’s smart, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t share the immaturity amongst the other first years .. even if he acts like he’s better than them sometimes.

tsukishima is quite the emotionally immature person, specially in the first season even if he tries to act otherwise. you can get that from how he acts honestly ! but honestly i love how he doesn’t stay like that ? like his character development in the shiratorizawa vs karasuno match , he finally woke up on his character !! it’s fitting that yams was the one to get him to place as well — i’ll talk about that later !!

i love as well even of his character development they haven’t really changed his smug attitude, cuz i love it !! but the changes with how he interacts with people, actually learning to trust people and his team more— and the way he starts to actually like the sport more as well ??

tsukishima , just like every other haikyuu character is written amazingly !! he has his own complexities and i wish he wasn’t watered down so much to some ppl ..

also time skip tsukishima ?? i haven’t fully read the manga timeskip but he’s grown sm i love him💗

— tsukishima and volleyball

this kind of relates on his background but let’s focus on volleyball and him!

at the earliest we could see tsukishima really liked volleyball because of his brother , but then after figuring out his brother wasn’t what he thought he was he changed and grew distant from the sport, it kind of just made me think about why then did he join the volleyball team ? even if he was scouted if he didn’t want to do something i’m 100% sure he wouldn’t do it , smth makes me want to say yamaguchi probably had an influence on the choice , but i also really like to imagine he still had resentment to his brother and kind of wanted to spite him .. i’m not sure if this was mentioned on why or whatever and i missed but i kind of like the idea of tsukishima joining out of spite, it feels fitting to me.. but that’s just a headcanon aha !!

let’s start with someone not so obvious , kageyama !

the two clearly didn’t like each other on their first meeting (same says for every other character) , and tsukishima doesn’t like being told what to do , that’s for sure , so it’s obvious why he’d hate kageyama + his resentment to volleyball , but when kageyama changed though and became less controlling, they definitely improved relationship wise and it’s so lovely cause their development aUGH while they still tend to bicker with one another, they work well together during a match tehee the way as the seasons progressed ,the two actually came to trust each other in game more??

their relationship hasn’t changed so much from what i can tell but i know they’ve put in more trust with eachother specially with games something about that is very dear to me..

— tsukishima and kuroo

OKAY. these two .. where do i start.. well first i really love how kuroo was part of tsukishimas growth !! in my personal opinion, besides seeing kuroo as a mentor i can kind of see them having like a brother relationship, kuroo always teasing tsukishima and things— but even if tsukishima is annoyed by that behaviour the he does respect kuroo , which is kind of where i get the brother relationship .. might be reaching for sibling relations though..

while tsukishima didn’t ’look up’ to kuroo, i can see the parallels of them with tsuki and his brother .. kuroo being what tsuki thought his brother was back then— i’m sick.. but you can see it right ? the way that if akiteru was on the team he’d be helping out tsukishima on how to play the game. though focusing back to kuroo and tsukishima, i think their dynamic is pretty sweet!

but that’s just a relation i came to think about !!

i’ve been WAITING for this. everything about their relationship is so dear to me, childhood best friends i love it.

i love how it may not seem like it but both care for eachother just the same, i also love how tsukishima , someone who doesn’t really care for other peoples thoughts on him always wants to impress yams the most , even if it’s not an obvious thing—

he’s actually yamaguchis number one fan btw !! hes so proud and happy for how yams has developed as a person and a player i just know it .. specially during their third years!! you can say whatever but in my opinion they have the best friendship in haikyuu , they’ve been tgt since the beginning, and watched/helped each other grow into a better person?!! i love how yams helped him, and stuck by him they’re never appart 💗 the two are one of the most supportive friendships in the show in my opinion. i love how both are protective of eachother as well, yet mess with eachother and everyone around them !! they’re a power duo fr.

BUT UHM , i’ll end this short before this becomes a tkym thread!

What am I writing?

A Pacific Rim AU that is focusing on the drift compatibility of the F1 drivers as Jaeger pilots.

It doesn't have a main plot, I am planning on writing what I feel like writing, there will be many character studies and relationship studies, very small amount of plot or world building.

I also plan on designing Jaegers and pilots suits based on F1 cars and racing teams.

For the fic my main focus is on Max, Charles, Lando, Danny, Seb, Carlos.

It will eventually have Lestappen in it but first I have to set the scene for how's the life of these pilots are going in this not so distant utopia.

Informal study- Need Cis Women & Trans folks post Testosterone HRT

Hello! I am nonbinary, and I want to compare how people feel about if the effects of testosterone happened to them. I have created 3 Google forms because I would like to look at different categories of people and compare the trends in their responses.

About the "study": 

The first group I would like to look at are cis women, I would like to use this group as a baseline to determine how people not considering testosterone would feel about its effects. The goal is to use this value to estimate the differences in what changes would be desirable for cis women, compared to trans men. I am excluding trans women because they have a different experience than cis women and this would create a confounding variable of gender dysphoria, and perhaps more. 

The next group are post-T trans folks satisfied with HRT. I would like these people to reflect on the changes they were looking forward to and not looking forward to when they were pre-t. I hope to help evaluate what effects are most important to consider when predicting future satisfaction in pre-T individuals. 

The final group is post-T trans folks unsatisfied with HRT. like with the satisfied HRT takers, I hope to help evaluate what effects are most important to consider when predicting future satisfaction in pre-T individuals. To do this I would like them to reflect on how they felt about the changes pre-T. 

After I have collected sufficient responses, I will compare each of the groups to see if there are any correlations between changes caused by HRT and potential satisfaction. I would like to create a version of this form capable of helping pre-T trans folks determine if T is right for them, based on the statistical analysis of the three groups. 

This is an informal study meaning it likely won't have widespread impacts, and the tool I hope to develop based on this survey won't be as reliable as if a formal peer-reviewed study was done. Additionally, this informal study does not consider variations in the desirability of changes over time. this could have an impact on the data, and results. I hope that if my results find any correlations and I can develop a helpful tool, it may inspire researchers to conduct a formal study on this topic and develop a more reliable, accessible tool that can be used in a medical setting to help prevent transition regret. In the meantime, perhaps this informal study and tool will provide limited benefit to helping pre-t trans folks consider if T is right for them. 

There are no significant risks I can think of in participating in the study. It will take up some of your time that you could spend doing other things, and you won't get any benefit from participation. It may also be difficult for post-T individuals to reflect back on their time being pre-T, it may be unsafe for these individuals to do so and could trigger a trauma response if this time was particularly challenging for the participant. If needed this site has plenty of threads regarding coping tools and resources if participation turns out to be triggering. Please be mindful as you fill this out and do not participate if you believe it may be triggering.

Hey everyone! Today i'd like to inform you all about this Tumblr knockoff called "Tumgir".

I havent visited the site myself just incase its full of malware, and, apparently it is.

On a few articles I read about Tumgir, when you go onto the site it displays a message that looks like this:

Obviously, this isnt true and the real threat lies upon the app it tries to make you download. I myself have ran into this problem before, and I did some digging to find out it was a scam for you to download either adware, spyware, and in some cases, ransomware.

Oh, and to add insult to injury, to make the website more appealing and real, its stealing artwork from Tumblr itself and putting it onto their website.

You can clearly see that instead of saying "Tumblr", it said "Tumgir" and it doesnt even have the correct logo colors.

Anyways, be careful on what you do on the internet, and as always, stay safe.
