I think it’s really funny seeing those Twitter AU’s where the author portrays Tony as just like so suave and casual online even when he’s interacting with Gen Z kids even tho it should really be the opposite.

His TRUE final form is Trophy Husband Who No Longer Understands The Internet But Insists He Is Still Cool And Hip

So an accurate Twitter au would be Tony embodying “How do you do, fellow kids?” and throwing a tantrum when someone calls him old.

“I’m a tech genius, Peter! That makes me cool and hip. Tell Pepper I’m cool and hip. Peter, stop laughing.”

And Peter has just resigned himself to patting Tony on the back like “Yes, Mr. Stark. You are very cool and hip. Please never say cash money again.”

But the world is blowing up about this mysterious kid who simultaneously insults Tony and the guy making fun of Tony.

rewatching SM:FFH, and i can’t help but laugh at the fact that if Stark had lived, he would have totally had a dad role.

Poor Peter trying to confess to MJ, while dealing with Ned and his girlfriend, and the addition of his mentor teasing him on the trip.

and imagine Peter gushing over his plan with his mentor on the phone while he packs, totally ecstatic to finally confess. telling Stark that “he won’t bring the suit, cause he’s going on vacation!”, but Tony tells him (from experience) that he should bring it just in case, and was pleasantly surprised when May did.

and then imagine poor defeated Peter when he calls his mentor for girl help on the plane after his first step of the plan fails, and said mentor laughs for 10 minutes straight.

“oh Pete, its alright, i’m sure you’ll get another chance soon.”

of course Tony laughs, and of course he chats with him during the plane ride to make him feel better, and of course he laughs more when Peter whined to him that Ned(“Fred?”) ended up getting a girlfriend in the span of 8 hours.

and when the kids finally arrive at the hotel, imagine Stark’s utter disappointment at the state of the hotel of which Peter describes it. the mentor would totally have made them move into a better hotel in the span of an hour, but Peter declines and says its apart of Italy’s “charm”.

and Tony loves all the blurred and imperfect pictures peter sends him of him and his class having fun, during the whole Venice square scene. He’s wholeheartedly tempted to go and fly down there to make sure the kid has a good time, but gets held back by Pepper’s;

“Tony, it’s his first field trip after the blip. let him have some fun on his vacation, you can worry about him when he gets back.”

(yes i will make a whole rant during a movie for my irondad and spiderson brain rot. dead tony stark is like matpat quitting, it never happened if i don’t pay attention to it)

Guys,,, au where like ok

au that takes place after No Way Home where Peter is all alone by himself,, no family no friends and in his crappy apartment. Just him and his spidey suit so he decides (with very little money he could save up) to try and buy and learn an instrument, cuz why not it's not like he's busy with school or friends or movie nights or fake internships that were just covers to hang out in a lab with his father figure,,,

Anyways he gets a guitar and he does his lessons on his cheap little phone and he gets pretty good. He learns a couple songs (one of them being May's favorite song she used to listen to all the time so he plays it everytime he misses her which is a lot)

He eventually gets better and better at it and he tries more difficult songs. One day when he's just messing around with cords he thinks it'll be fun to try and cover a full song, so he does and records it and he, without really thinking abt it, just posts it to whatever social media he had (and he definitely had to make new accounts because of the spell). It accidentally gets really popular and people are requesting songs cuz they like the acoustics of his half empty apartment (lol)

Without really thinking about it he posts more covers and he's actually really having fun with it, he even learns that he's a pretty decent singer too. This also serves as a distraction from the loneliness of his life and all the longing he has for his old friends. Eventually people start asking "do you have any original music?" "Do you have songs that you've written?"

He doesn't really think he's good enough to be writing his own music but after some encouragement he tries it out and people love it. He tries more and more and more and people love it even more and more and more.

Soon he gets a little popular and tries playing for small gigs and things and he does really good. He's starting to be recognized every once in a great great while. He's thriving (still absolutely devastated 24/7 but at least he's having fun 😭)

He plays at one gig and he has a few people who recognize his songs but his eyes land on two specific people in the crowd.

MJ and Ned.

He kinda panics but manages to get through his set pretty decently, it turns out MJ and Ned are kinda fans of his music. After they leave wherever Peter sang at they wonder for the rest of the night why he kept looking over at them with the most devastated look in his eyes.

Basically a musician/celeb au but I over explain it 🫶 does this au defeat the whole purpose of staying on the down low and not bringing attention to himself? Yes. Are there a lot of plot holes to this au? Yes. Do I care? No, cuz it's fun and I like angst

But yeah that's right,, I'm also very annoying about Spider-Man and the mcu lol

Irondad fic ideas #147

Fic where Pepper got snapped, too. When Tony finally gets back to Earth, he discovers that not only has he lost his surrogate son but also his fiance.

And, just to dig the knife in even deeper, he finds out about a pregnancy test Pepper had taken after their jog. It turns out, his dream had been right. She was pregnant.

Was.

Tony just lost his son, his wife, and his other child he never even got to know, all at the same time.

To say he explodes at the rest of the surviving avengers is an understatement. Only Rhodey and Happy seem to have a clue what's going on, seem to get just how much Tony has truly lost.

All of this means Tony throws himself into his research to fix the snap. Unlike in canon, Tony has no reason to pull back this time. No one is relying on him to live on with whatever's left. He has nothing left.

This time, Tony won't stop until he's fixed things. After all, these deaths weren't natural, they were caused by aliens and magic. If half the universe can be erased just like that, then there must also be a way to un-erase them

This shit is solvable. There is a solution. He just has to find it.

He's getting his family back.

WINTERDAD AU #1

(part one because this got way too long. this is essentially the plot of an old fic i started back in 2020 and what would've happened of i'd continued it. i might try and write it again one day, perhaps, if i don't give up after 2 chapters. anyway here we go)

- mary parker was a shield agent when she met the winter soldier, both were on a mission. they fought, but never got as far as mortally wounding each other. mary would always slip away. it was like a game. bucky had been kept out the ice for a few weeks at that point, running a long job. but the longer he's out, the more he starts to remember little pieces, who he used to be.

- mary feels pity for him, seeing through the stone cold image hydra forged for him, to the person within. they fight. but then they also talk. they keep seeing each other while bucky scouts. eventually one thing leads to another and they develop a relationship of sorts.

- mary later discovers she's pregnant but bucky never finds out. he's taken back, wiped and put under the ice once more. mary quits her job at shield so she can provide for her kid and keep them safe. knowing full well if anyone in shield or hydra caught wind that she was carrying the winter soldiers child, they'd never be safe.

- she's sad that bucky disappeared again, she knows hydra likely had him wiped and iced again. but she moves on, meeting richard soon after who she tells she's expecting a son, that the father disappeared without a word (technically not a lie) he tells her he'll love him like he's his regardless.

- when her son is born she names him peter james parker (during the few weeks they met, the last time they talked, bucky ended up remembering his first name, mary wanted peter to have at least a piece of him)

- peter ends up looking a LOT like bucky. he has the same shade of dark brown hair, facial structure which shows as he grows. but he has mary's eyes)

- the plane crash was really just an unfortunate incident. peter still goes to live with aunt may and uncle ben when he's seven. and then things go as they usually do in canon. the avengers form, yada yada all that stuff, you know the drill.

- when he's 14 peter is bitten by the radioactive spider. BUT. an important detail here is that due to the expiermentation bucky was subjected to by hydra and the enhancements which altered his genes, some of that, though remaining dormant, passed onto peter. but it didn't really do anything, it was just there. but it did keep him alive after the spider bite. without those enhancements in his blood peter would've died. instead, he gained his powers.

- uncle ben still gets shot, which as usual influences peter to become spider-man. and months after tony still comes along and recruits him to fight in germany. peter does.

- when he briefly faces bucky ("you have a metal arm? that is AWESOME, dude!") neither know so that also goes as normal. bucky is bewhildered by the kid who managed to block a hit with so much force behind it, while also shocked to know that he was just that, a kid.

- now one vastly different thing here is that while the avengers do split for a good year, steve and tony eventually talk and make amends. the avengers reassemble, deciding that they need to put the world before their feud. they're not on super good terms, but they tolerate each other. tony still refuses to forgive bucky.

- homecoming happens during the time where things are still rocky between the avengers so peter still deals with vulture alone. but he does see tony more often, stopping by for lab days to work on his suit among other things, to keep up the "internship" charade. tony grows fond of him, though he doesn't admit it.

its post homecoming where things start to go wrong.

Then Germany had happened and the team had split up before they could fully move into the compound. Tony had had two years where he hadn’t needed to worry about it. Now that the Rogues are back and are living in the tower full time, it’s on his mind again and stressing him out. The problem? Coffee mugs. Well… coffee mugs, and other things and the fact that when he’s stressed out, the tics get worse. But mainly coffee mugs. Coffee mugs are the bane of his existence. OR Tony has Tourette Syndrome and he doesn’t want the Avengers (or Peter) to find out about it. The newly returned Avengers think Tony is just being a jerk when he knocks things off of tables and counters, because they think he’s doing it on purpose. Despite the angsty summary, this is all about the team coming back together and Tony learning that the people in his life can’t accept him as he is until given the chance to know him as he is.

" Kid be real with me here..... just give me a name... an address.... even a picture"

" I can't do that!"

Tony sighed " Pete I am going to find out sooner or later. Just tell me the name of the Alpha who got you in this situation.... I just wanna make sure we can vet him bambino.... make sure he is good enough for you"

Peter sniffles a little, looking back down at his lap. Folding the paper with the doctors results on it again. " I cant.... not cause I dont want too...but..." bitting his lip he looks up at Tony and then back down before quietly almost a whisper " I don't know which one... there were two"

Quickly taking his glasses off and tossing them on the desk. Tony leans forward and stares Peter down.

" What was that? Are you fucking with me Pete? Who..You don't know who the father is because two fucking Alphas dont know how to wrap up their knots!?!"

Peter's eyes fill with tears again. And Tony sighs, closing his eyes pressing his fingers lightly on his eyes trying to calm down. Heaving a big sigh " Kid... I thought you were smarter then this. Why weren't you on birt-"

A voice comes on over the intercom. " Dr. Strange is here for you at your request. Should I send him in?"

Peter's jaw dropped and stared at Tony " You called-"

" Damn right I did! You know he is the best to check up on you til we can find your own doc... its a delicate situation Pete... you know who I am. "

They wait a few minutes before a knock sounds at the door before opening. Dr. Stephen Strange walked in, closing the door behind himself. " Now Stark tell me why I was rushed to get over here? I was prepping for a surgery when Pepper called and you know I-" Stephen paused taking in the scene infront of him, exhausted and pissed off looking Tony. Then over at Peter, pale, eyes rimmed red filled with tears looking scared and at any moment would fall over. Narrowing his eyes he turned to Tony " What did you do to my baby?"

Tony splutters " What did I do? WHAT DID I DO? He is the one who went and got knocked up! And it gets better he doesn't know who the fuck the father is because he has been fucking two guys"

" What? Why weren't you watching out for him? What if they were targeting him"

" I don't know if you know this but im running this town! And I can't keep a watch over him 24/7 he isn't a pup anymore Stephen!"

" Of course I know he isn't a pup! But you were suppose to have someone making sure this doesn't happen to our baby! I knew we should have sent him off to medical school."

" Hey! We both agreed that he could do whatever he wants. Just cause he is an Omega and our kid didn't mean he didn't have a choice! He is a great bioengineering and genetics! And some of the ideas he has as helped the business. Mine and yours!"

"And look where that-"

Peter let out another sniffle and a soft " Momma..." Stephen turned and looked at Peter, shoulders dropping and he moves to pull Peter up and out of the chair.

" Let's go get you to bed. You need to rest, I'll have Friday send up some tea for you. Momma will have some equipment sent over and I'll make sure everything is all right." He gentle runs his fingers through Peter's hair before kissing his forehead.

Turning to lightly lead him toward the door. " and while we are at it you are going to tell me all about these..... Alphas hm? Cause I know you are or atleast were on birth control. I implanted the device myself just last year in your arm" Stephen turn his head back to glare at Tony and mouth to him that he needed to 'Figure this out quick'

After they left the room Tony curses more before reaching out to Natasha. " Widow. I need information and I needed it yesterday. Its about our baby spider"

" send me details. I'll get Winter involved if needed"

" Whatever it takes"

"Do you have a picture and address? I will see if I have any body that covers that area"

" Here" Natasha slides her phone over to Winter aka James Barnes just call me Bucky. He lift the phone freezes and stares at it. Natasha tilts her head as she watches this shift.

" And what.... information are we looking for?"

" Stark wants to know who has been around, possibly going back for a few months. We are looking for two Alphas. Kid has been tight lipped. Thats all the information we got to work with."

" ... Was he hurt? Did two Alphas attack him? Why is he important to Stark"

Natasha notices Bucky tightening his grip on the phone before he handed it back to her.

Looking back up into his eyes she narrows hers. " Aren't you with Ste....." her eyes widen before slamming he hand down on the table. " Please tell me you and Steve are not fucking Tony Starks kid?"

" He is 22 and .... we didn't know"

Tony grunted in pain as he was kicked across the ground, landing harshly on his side as he skidded across the floor.

“Why are you being so selfish?!” The Superior Iron Man sneered, his cold blue eyes glaring down as his alternate self.

Holding his throbbing side, Tony struggled to push himself across the ground.

“You have everything!” Alternate Tony shouted as he approached with slow calculated steps, “A family, a home, a perfect world! And I have nothing!”

Tony was forced to stop his attempts to move by the familiar sound of a repulsor firing up.

“Just let me have him!”

“He’s not yours!”
