This morning I cannot stop thinking about the fact that Miss Mayer Mormon made her lukewarm vanilla milquetoast "not like other girls" protagonist a straight-up monsterfucker. It's not even subtle.

Isabella Swan, Patron Saint of Monsterfuckers spends like two and a half books just trying to get Edward (Patron Saint Of Vanilla Sex) to fuck her and turn her and dude is like "not until we're married harlot" and she's like "ok fine" so they get married, have sex (which Edward then feels guilty about because he bruised her??? And broke a couple pillows?????? I've heard of people breaking windows doing the dirty, dude. Entire beds, tables, chairs, getting rug burn, and these are HUMANS, also she was CLEARLY into it. Miss Monsterfucker clearly has a pain kink) and she's immediately like "actually I don't need to be turned, I'm cool with staying a human" and Edward is like "what the fuck I've been trying to get you to stay human for like two years and all it took was fucking you???? That's it?????" and Bella is like ".....yeah".

Then she has a baby and gets turned and they have the most vanilla sex in the world and she's???? Happy???? With it???????? Miss Mormon. That goes against everything you previously wrote.

If I'd had a say in these books, Bella would have slept with Edward after being turned then realized this was not a man who could satisfy her needs and immediately gotten a divorce and fucked off to college.

The reason Bella didn't fit in with people her own age had fucking nothing to do with her being 'Meant to be a vampire" and everything to do with the fact that she was her Mother's parent growing up. She was parentified young and never got the chance to actually be a child. And she never will because now she's a mother to a child that will never grow past eighteen.

I just think there’s something incredibly special about being a mage Hawke romancing Anders. All of the other companions find the mage plight annoying at the best of times and WRONG in the worst of times. Hearing their banter HURTS me sometime because hey… you’re saying all mages deserve to have Meredith imprison them because they’re all weak?? IM one of those mages you’re talking about! You think tranquility is fine? That’s ME you’re talking about??

The only one consistently fighting, consistently seeing mages as good and PEOPLE is Anders.

He’ll fight by putting his very life on the line for our freedom. Hawke is willing to throw away his home and be on the run again for their freedom.

I just think that’s really beautiful and really special.
