thinking about how in the manga Hange and the rest of the dead scouts smile at Levi before fading away, meanwhile in the anime Hange looks so pensive and sad instead, gazing at Levi with so much regret in her eyes because she had to leave him alone, because he's the last one now and he has to carry everyone's hearts forward even when they're no longer there with him.
Thinking about how Hange didn't want to leave Levi, how they asked Levi if he thinks their dead comrades are watching them, and Levi did not reply, but then when Hange died he whispers "goodbye, Hange. Watch us."
I am really so not okay over these two, I am absolutely Not normal about levihan and their relationship and how much pain and love there is inside both of them, and how these two -the pain and the love- can coexist so perfectly even after Hange is gone and Levi is the last one of the OG scouts left.

— send 💘 for one muse to have a crush on the other muse
Please, I have so many feelings about these two!  They’re shown to have this deeply competitive relationship, but Mikasa stirs up complicated feelings in Annie that go beyond simple rivalry.
From Annie’s perspective, she resents that Mikasa is effortlessly capable, that she has this seemingly natural and inherent ability to excel.  Annie herself is skilled, but her strengths are a product of her father’s ruthless training regime.  It’s easier for her to call Mikasa a beast, and try to downplay her talents.  Throw in the fact that Annie is accustomed to going overlooked, but Mikasa seems to have this uncanny ability to notice her – to see her.  It’s unfamiliar, it’s dangerous, and it’s exciting.
I should say that the traits Annie envies are also the traits she admires, and they’re a big part of what pulls her to Mikasa.  Mikasa is exceptional, loyal, kind, fearless and beautiful.  Annie sees all that, and she isn’t immune (plus the blushing makes her heart squeeze).

Also, just want to point this out.
The original controversy surrounding Reiner and Jean, etc... showing gratitude toward Eren, and people interpreting that as an endorsement of Eren's actions by Isayama, I think the anime went a long way to making sure that wouldn't happen again, by making it clear that Eren is only able to confess the true motivation behind his actions to Armin. I don't think Eren confessed his true motivation to anyone else. He only told Armin, because he knew Armin was the only one who would understand, because he knew, subconsciously probably, that Armin wouldn't condemn him for it. And Armin doesn't. He condemns Eren's actions, but he doesn't condemn Eren himself. Instead he shoulders the blame with Eren and condemns himself in his place. It's made clear that he isn't thanking Eren for killing anybody. He thanks Eren for showing him the world outside the walls. For giving him the means to see that world. But he lets Eren know that what he's done is beyond forgiveness, and he shoulders that blame with him out of love and friendship, as a means of comforting his best friend. And he protects Eren's memory by keeping that secret. By keeping the secret of why Eren really did it. It reminds me of how Levi protected Erwin's memory by keeping his secret too, of never revealing to anybody the true reasons behind his actions. He lets everyone else believe he did it for them. But Armin's always understood and accepted monstrosity, even in himself. He loved Eren to the very end, even when he knew he couldn't be saved. That's beautiful, and heartbreaking.

Grant me a wish
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Synopsis: In which, Levi takes it upon himself to fulfil that one wish of yours.
Trope: Angst, fluff, established relationship.
Warnings: Post Canon, implied nsfw, kissing, no mentions of y/n.
Word count: 1.3k
A/N: Nothing just me milking my daydream with this fine specimen of a man. Fuck you Isayama for making my man go through all that shit 😭 (jk, thank you for writing this amazing story for us)
Tumblr media
Levi never said that he loved you.
In all the years you've spent with him neither did he once speak those three words. He never said those words while you were in the infirmary being treated for your broken ankle.
Neither had he ever urged you to skip any expedition nor did he push you away when you were adamant to fight this war alongside him.
Perhaps, his love is not to be heard. It's meant to be felt.
It was felt when you were the first one he looked for after every expedition. It was felt when he'd ask you to stay back for training. It was felt he himself strapped the harness of your ODM before an expedition. It was felt that after submitting the paperwork he'd take a trip to your room. It was felt when he told you about his past; revealing each and every darkest secret as you shared a cup of tea under the starlight. To know the hands which caressed your form every night with tenderness were the same hands stained with the red of death.
Amidst this never-ending war, the concept of a blooming romance was like a far-fetched dream. And there was a hint of fear. Fear of you suffering the same fate as everyone he loved.
For everyone he loved had been taken away one way or another.
.
It wasn't on any special day that it happened.
The air was humid and you could hear the crickets chirping outside your window. The sun was setting down the horizon slowly when Levi asked you that question.
"They died for us..." He had said, gazing out the window before shifting his form towards you.
"Would you live with me for the rest of my life?"
There was no bit of hesitation on his face but you could sense a subtle hint of fear when his voice turned heavy. Fear of what might be your answer. It wasn't a question on impulse or one of reassurance you had answered previously.
He didn't kneel before you nor did he voice out any of his feelings. It was a question, as simple as that. Yet, it was the most important he had ever asked of you.
When you didn't answer for long, he was prepared to apologize as his shoulders slumped down. But before he could conjure those words, your lips met his. It was unlike any other kisses you had shared until that day. Your lips didn't move against his, it stayed like a touch of a petal.
It was a kiss to shush him from wringing an apology (what was there to even apologize for), one to convey your answer.
He brought out a ring from his pocket. Nothing fancy, just a silver band on first inspection. In the second look, you found his initials engraved on the backside. He slid it on your finger without any further ado.
Next, he had passed you another identical ring and forwarded his hand to you. You found your initials engraved on its backside as he urged you to put it on him.
"I could only afford this." He confessed, meeting your gaze. There was a subtle disappointment lingering in his voice. He could have gotten you something more intricately crafted or one made of a more valuable metal.
You offered a soft smile, intertwining your fingers with his. The pad of his thumb rubbed circles upon your knuckles, the silver ring glinted as the sunlight reflected on it.
Only if he knew, you needed no ring for you had him by your side.
.
Each step towards the altar was a step-down memory lane.
Clad in a black suit, similar to the one he had worn to all the meetings in the survey corps. You always told him he looked like some nobleman wearing such an outfit.
You noticed the slight change in demeanor when he saw you walking down the aisle in your white dress and a bouquet of white lilies. He was standing before the priest; waiting for your arrival.
That caused a frown. His knee was still damaged and from the medical reports, he needed to rest it as much as possible. You remember repeatedly chiding him to use the wheelchair but his stubbornness was evident. You were sure to give him an earful after this was over.
You never took Levi as the one to want a traditional wedding ceremony. You were sure he'd want to just sign the papers in court and be done with it. That's what you thought.
Until he asked you to pick a dress and a location. Informing you he had sent word to your union to the needful people. So you did, chose a dress to your liking and the spot which held both of your memories—the survey corps headquarters.
Walking between all the guests you reached him. A lot of guests weren't present to witness this matrimony. Only his remaining squad and the queen made a graceful appearance with her daughter - Ymir. But they were your family. The very family with whom you had fought a war alongside. The ones who held witness to your laughs and tears, who had your back through thick and thin.
A family brought together by tragedy.
Levi helped you up the stairs, offering his hand which you took gratefully. Standing before him, all the doubts that plagued your mind previously faded into thin air. There were no regrets, no second guesses, no jitters, nothing except the love you held for him. Looking back, there were a lot of things he didn't say but his actions conveyed proof of those unspoken words.
Everything felt right when you looked into his eyes.
A sense of tranquillity settled on you. Your loud heartbeat seized to a comforting pace when he held your hand. Gazing at you with no bit of hesitance whatsoever. There was a ghost of a smile adorning his lips.
He never looked more beautiful than now.
====
"Grant me a wish, Levi."
"What kind?"
"To speak of your honest feelings when the right day comes."
====
You were the strongest in his eyes.
Humanity's strongest soldier, they called him. He carried loads of expectations behind his back; and carried the hopes and dreams of every soldier who gave up their life for this cause. For a chance at freedom which was so valiantly fought for till the end.
And now, he stood before you. You, the woman who stuck by his side till the end. To not keep a distance when he revealed his vulnerabilities and shared about the darkness residing in him. Quite the contrary, you closed the distance into an embrace.
Surreal to know, you were here and not some vision in the air. You were here, right before him. And this war was over. The bloodshed, the death, the conflicts, everything was over. Hence now, he decided to live. Live a life with you which you used to speak about. A normal life.
He honestly didn't know what the future held. Neither was he aware of how this decision will turn out. He never had but he knew if you were with him; he'd figure it out.
The priest's voice reached his ears.
"State your vows."
Vows. He was never vocal about his intentions. Not the one to make sweet, empty promises. But here, he wished to say something which he always meant to express.
He took a deep breath, clutching your hand tightly in his. Each syllable of your name rolled off his mouth in an agonizing slow pattern.
And after a long time, he saw tears slide down your eyes. For once, these tears were not of sorrow but of happiness. The absolute bliss to hear him speak of his feelings for you. He granted your wish on this very day.
Those words...
"I'll always be yours."

I will still not get over the Final Episode where everyone saw the people who died. Idk if this is canon or not but I like to think that the people they saw after the war ended is the deaths that they couldn't get over.
Connie and Jean saw Sasha because of how recently she died and because of the bond they shared for so many years. By the end of the war, they still didn't get over it and therefore saw her one last time before she lays to rest
Tumblr media
BUT LEVI!! LEVI SEES EVERYONE!!! He sees every dead soldier he has ever known standing as a huge crowd. It's not just Hange or Erwin or Petra or Isabel. It's EVERYONE. He made sure to remember each and every person he worked with. Whether it was their face or their name or their title, he remembered them all and he made sure that all of their deaths weren't in vain by doing that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The reason why I thought this was because Jean doesn't see Marco. Even though we've only known Marco for less than one season, Jean knew him for years and grew close to him. Marco encouraged him and Jean did the same. But Jean didn't see him after everything was over. He only saw Sasha. I like to think it's because he accepted Marco's death that night that they burnt his body in the fire
But Levi had so many soldiers staring back at him, meaning that he didn't fully accept anyones deaths since we know him as a person who values other's lives. Levi didn't only see the people he was close to, but he saw everyone he's ever remembered throughout his lifetime. No wonder Isayama says that he is the most emotional character in AOT

every—lesser known—canon fact about Levi Ackerman.
infamously over the years, there have been countless false rumors about Levi in particular out of the cast. many of them have become popular, even ubiquitous, and it's annoying!
and also disheartening when you find out it's not true....
and hurtful when you realize it was - sometimes - made up by trolls.
so i'm making this post<3
credit to @levisfavoriteacup for the idea!!
*disclaimer: i'm not perfect, so this may not be Everything™️ but I am confident that it's the majority of information available, and that it's trustworthy. :)
Tumblr media
First the most populars. There is no evidence across interviews nor other content over the years that:
Levi is ugly, and is considered ugly in AOT.
Nope. See here: (tumblr link), or:
Isayama finished his first sketch of Levi mostly on a whim, but the moment he drew his face, he had a sense it would work well / he knew he had something good. Something told him: "the yaoi fangirls are going to like this one".
As time passed and his popularity grew, Isayama caught onto this and wanted to portray him more attractively (in multiple ways) to the viewer/reader.
But from the beginning, this was something of the goal. He is short because Isayama had in mind what young women/fangirls in Japan consider attractive: a man with a higher-pitch voice; has a small face; and who is "short but strong".
In the world of AOT, he (in a nutshell) is mostly considered plain or awkward, but combined with his reputation and style, he's very charming. "He cleans up nice." Overall, it is positive :) But more importantly, realistic I think.
He's also something of a celebrity. People who advertise their product as being used by him are more successful; when he's seen in a shop, this by itself is considered "advertising" and more people come in. Quote: ""the tea that the hero bought”".
He's definitely not a 2/10 at any rate😇.
—the 24th episode of Naoki Yoshida's Anime Plan, 2013 / Interview with Frau Magazine, 2013 | Hajime Isayama x Hikaru Suruga (2014) | AU Smartpass - Erwin & Levi Close Up Interview Part 1 | Taking shelter from the rain reprise: Levi and Peaure
Levi’s type would be someone who’s "tough, feminine and sensual".
Levi's type "might" be tall people. But context matters, because in multiple translations "don't you think?" and "might be" are thrown around a lot. Isayama isn't known for his clarity. When asked, he practically said the question right back. —fan Q&A from a festival in Betsumaga, Aug.2014
What this quote might have come from is a statement by the author of an article Isayama was likely involved in. I can't say this is 100% canon, but in my opinion it's a little less canon than the Smartpass AUs; if those are sub-canon, then this is sub-sub-canon:
Levi's romantic type is someone who walks three steps behind him, and likes cleaning.
In the past, in Japanese culture, for a wife to walk three steps behind her husband implied highly traditional gender roles. What this is much more likely to mean is that Levi's romantic type is someone who will let him protect them, or will run away and survive even if it costs his life. (And they have to like cleaning.)
—the article is from 2013, and no longer exists. but the link was used as recently as 2021 as a source in this post by a reliable translator. I've found this quote also in varying qualities of translation across Japanese and English forums, so to the best of my knowledge, it's reliable.
Levi's cravat is a piece of his mother's dress + he was wearing her dress when Kenny found him.
This is a popular rumor that Isayama has never confirmed (i think it is true, tho.)
Tumblr media
December 25th was chosen by his comrades because he doesn't know his actual birthday.
The guidebook only states that it is his birthday. I can't find any more context on this. —AOT Guidebook; p.256
Tumblr media
His character profile:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
—AOT Guidebook; p.78–79
His name is Hebrew, and means "attached" or to be "joined".
Isayama came up with Levi's name after watching American documentary "Jesus Camp". (It's about a summer camp-type program where evangelical Christian children are taught extreme beliefs. One of the children was named Levi.) Isayama heard it and thought it sounded cool. —Hajime Isayama x Hikaru Suruga (2014) | 2010 blogpost by Isayama
Levi is in his early 30s (in s3/RtS/volume 19). –Interview, Universal Studios Japan’s SNK THE REAL exhibition, 2016 | confirmation
If Kuchel was still alive, Levi would want to make sure she had an easy life. This means specifically filial piety, a concept exclusive to the East: he would fulfill his duties as a son for her. (tldr he's a mama's boy :3) —Bessatsu Magazine, 2019
Levi would have thin facial hair, but he prefers not to, so he shaves frequently. —January 2020 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 124)
He doesn't like coffee milk or coffee jelly. They're out of the question even.🤐 —July 2018 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 106)
He just gets depressed when he drinks coffee. Maybe he loves tea that much? He stopped calling Hange names like 'shitty glasses' since they became commander because he "seems" to respect their position that much. However, a Smartpass story delves deeper into this (and states as I suspected): [After Hange makes a joke] "Since becoming the commander succeeding Erwin, they’d toned down on their past speech and behaviour that had a touch of tomfoolery; Levi understanding that they were nevertheless trying to maintain the self “that was the case then”, also loses the will to curse at them." + "In the past, Hange had a Hange-type dream, and should have been progressing to that purpose. That lately, was it the weight of the office of commander, or was it due to the reality that is “all the world was our enemy”, their manner had changed considerably." —May 2017 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 92) | Goodnight. Sweet dreams, dear. Act II: Levi
If he and Kenny had fought one-on-one, Levi would've won. —December 2016 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 87)
intermission: all about tea
His favorite "food" is black tea. No actual food.
He doesn't add sugar or milk to his tea because he considers it too expensive—which it is canonically. Despite this, he will share his tea with his comrades (his original squad as far as is seen).
Even though he's Captain, he'd rather drink it straight (the implications of which are he's a hardworking man, like that of a farmer. aka, this makes him seem humble).
If a time of peace ever came, Levi wants to open a black tea shop (he said in a dreamlike way, not so much based in reality).
He also knows a good amount of facts and history about it. He's a tea enthusiast!!
Levi receives pilfered tea in shipments monthly, thanks to Erwin.
—AU Smartpass - Erwin & Levi Close Up Interview Part 2 | Part 1 | Taking shelter from the rain reprise: Levi and Peaure | Bessatsu Magazine, Jan.2014 | September 2016 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 84) | AU Smartpass My First Time Around: Levi Ackerman | The Case of the Corps Tea Party - File No. 09 Levi's Side (3/3) | sugar and milk in tea from the Japanese perspective
Levi, out of his original squad, found Petra cute/sweet in the general sense of the word "kawaii". Like Levi's romantic type however, this was sort of a non-answer to the question (of whether Levi thought she was cute). —2014 interview
After RtS, Levi seems to consider Hange and the 104th his family. —AU Smartpass My First Time Around: Levi Ackerman
He wears a cravat because Isayama based part of his design off Rorschach from the movie 'Watchmen'. He looks "delicate" because of his size and weight, but he's so powerful because [in issues before the reveal of the Ackerman bloodline] of "invisible power" at work. —January 2016 issue of Bessatsu Magazine (chapter 76)
The best way to describe the way he thinks is to compare him to the main character from the movie The Hurt Locker (2008). His character was born from Hiei from the manga 'Yuyu Hakusho', and Rorschach from the movie 'Watchmen'. The former was the basis for his appearance (especially his eyes), and the latter was the basis for his personality. Firstly though, Isayama had an image of a small man being the strongest.
Tumblr media
—Hajime Isayama x Hikaru Suruga (2014) / Brutus Magazine (2014)
He is something of a protagonist (especially in s3p1). — Animedia, June 2018
His favorite tool (in general...?) is microfiber cloths (for dust I guess. Levi has no need for weapons :3) —July 2015 issue of Bessatsu Magazine
He will usually laugh/smile when he sees convenient cleaning goods (i.e., vacuum cleaners? feather dusters? ((cuz he's a shorty?❤️)) —Bessatsu Magazine, Dec. 2013
He does want to be taller sometimes. He gets eager to clean up after meals rather than cook at all. He can cook, though. —Bessatsu Magazine, Aug.2014 | fan Q&A in Oyama, Oita, Mar.2018
Levi mostly couldn't adapt to the changes that came about after the truth was discovered. Only he wears mostly the same uniform, cape, and blades.
Tumblr media
After RtS, Levi personally retrieved Erwin's remains himself, for whom there was a special memorial service. After Eren (inadvertently) called him a "tiny old man" in season 3, Levi didn't care, but when he thought of it by himself later, he was hurt (unclear exactly why). Levi's father, most likely one of Kuchel's customers, is an insignificant man who's short. That's where Levi's height comes from. His face comes from his mother. At the start of season 4, Levi didn't change much compared to the 104th because he's turning into an "old man" who'd rather stick with his flip phone so to speak. He "doesn't break out into cold sweats". AKA he's always calm under pressure. He considers prostitution to be an ordinary job because of his childhood. Levi's vision is very sharp, way above average. He thought Eren's new look beginning season 4 was unclean/dirty (in more ways than one perhaps). —fan Q&A in Oyama, Oita, Mar.2018
He has slight bouts of insomnia. He never snaps/explodes when he's angry. But he does get angry or grumpy a lot, in general. He doesn't sing. It's more likely he would dance. If he was a fan of Momoiro Clover Z (jpop girl group), his favorite would be Momoka. When/if he drinks, he has a high tolerance, but he can get a little drunk :) One thing he highly hates and fears is mold. He is the one who ordered Armin to dress as Historia during the uprising. His blood type is A. Blood types are much like horoscopes in Japanese culture, and Levi's is as such: kichōmen, or well-organized; he likes keeping things neat, but can be stubborn and stressed out easily.
Tumblr media
Whether he eats enough or has a good diet? He is "a bit lax". Maybe he forgets to eat sometimes, or has a low appetite. When Levi bathes, he goes for a quick shower then soak in hot water, which takes about ten minutes. Like a bird :')) He on any given night gets about 2-3 hours of sleep. He thought Eren was the best at cleaning (in season 3 / uprising arc). Because of his childhood in the Underground, Levi has a preoccupation/obsession with cleaning (specifically to ward off disease). He also doesn't have any pajamas, mostly keeping day clothes on when he goes to sleep - which is in "his" chair. Levi cuts his own hair using clippers. (Something like:)
Tumblr media
He's aware Oluo imitated him, and found it annoying. Levi's horoscope (in general) as a Capricorn: Humanity’s Strongest Soldier - Levi. He possesses warmth in the midst of a dispassionate nature, and he is capable of leadership without verbal expression – both of which are special qualities of a Capricorn. Capricorns tend to hold certain levels of authority, even if they must carry out somewhat unreasonable tactics while in such positions. But when such authority is backed up with actual abilities, a Capricorn can gain Levi’s type of confidence and also be put on a pedestal by those around them. However, Capricorns won’t be dependent on others, much less trust them easily. They don’t hold high expectations and thus never feel a sense of failure. Levi’s faults include the inability to express himself clearly.  Even though he wants to encourage his companions, he always speaks in a roundabout way, and without Hanji’s translation it’s nearly impossible to understand Levi’s intended meaning. Even though he is dependable in most situations, when it comes to love/romance, he expresses himself clumsily/awkwardly. —FRaU Magazine, Aug.2014. | fan Q&A in Oyama, Oita, Mar.2018 | Levi: Close-up Report (Part One) | Translator *the horoscope wasn't written by Isayama, but was published alongside canon information, and it's also not factually wrong, so I'm including it.
The dark circles under Levi’s eyes are to convey the “self-destruction” he takes on to reach the “standard” of Humanity’s Strongest. —Interview on the topic of Levi, May 2015
His 'liege'—as Eren is to Mikasa, and Uri is to Kenny—is Erwin. He is afraid of making deep relationships because of the cruel world he lives in; he can't know when someone he cares for will die or how soon. That 'gap' left in Levi's heart by Kenny's death was filled by his squad (the 104th). If Levi hadn't joined the Survey Corps, he would've been a "very irresponsible person". Risky with his life perhaps? As a kid, Levi used to make himself stronger in order to receive praise from Kenny. When he abandoned him, he wondered what his strength was even for. He was able to find peace with Kenny after his death. In CH72, the reason Levi kicked the shit out of Eren and Jean is because of his argument with Erwin earlier.
Tumblr media
He knows he's a slave to his own strength, aka the idea of being a hero. He realizes it when Kenny asked what he's a slave to in s3/ch69. —Answers Guidebook, Aug.2016
If he ever changed his appearance, the one thing Levi couldn't be able to give up is his undercut :') He would grow out the top and tie it up :3 —Oyama homecoming event Q&A in 2014 | 2 | 3
Levi knows how to use a gun, but he "places more trust" in knives. —Bessatsu Magazine, 2019
Levi tolerates saunas. But instead of enjoying himself he seems to see it as a test of endurance. (LOL) —Bessatsu Magazine, 2020
Levi has newspaper-level handwriting that he practices often. He's very conscious of it and being connected back to the Underground. —AU Smartpass TEXT: Levi’s Signature
Isayama had considered killing Levi around the time of the thunderspear explosion. (As always) Isayama deliberated with his editors whether or not it'd be meaningful if he died, and they decided it wouldn't be. —Kawakubo interview, 2021

Levi falling head over heels in love with you ❥
Tumblr media
After Levi lost the most important people in his life, he thought he would never find something or someone worth fighting for again.
But when you first stepped in his office on your first day of work, his eyes couldn't leave you.
"Hello Levi! I'm Y/N! Hange told me to leave these papers in your office so, here you go." You handed the papers and looked at him with bright eyes.
He tried to keep his expression blank. Woth no emotion. But his heart was beating so loud that he was scared you might hear it.
"Ok thank you, Y/N. You can go now." He said a little hurriedly and made you frown. When you left his office, a little taken aback by his reply, he let out a breath of relief. Why was he even acting like that?
The next days, were a torture for him. His mind was thinking of only one thing and that was you. Everytime you happened to be in the same room, he was stealing glances at you. And it looked like you knew because eahc time, you turned your heard to look at him but of course he was turning his head elsewhere.
One night, he found you sitting outside, gazing at the stars. He heard you humming a song and he got hypnotized by your sweet voice. When he returned to his room, he fell to sleep humming your song.
He knew he was screwed and that there was no turning back. That's why found himself standing outside your room.
When he knocked on the door, he made the move to leave and just lock himself in his office, but you opened the door and there you were.
"Levi." You breathed. "What a surprise. Wait, is something wrong?" You asked hesitantly.
He shook his head and cleared his throat. To be honest, yes there was something wrong. Very wrong. And as much as wrong this was, he did not care.
You told to come inside and he followed you.
"I, just wanted to see you." He said in a low voice. You leaned back on the wall and stared at him. And he saw the way your chest rose and fell in shaky rhythms.
"Ah. And, now that you see me, is there something I can do for you?" You mumbled. Your tone gave something away. Something that made him think that you knew.
"...Kiss me." He said lamost desperately. Your eyes widened.
"Just...kiss me." He said hoarsely. You felt weak. Your knees almost gave up on you. And when he noticed that, he instantly approached you and held you close to his body.
"There hasn't been damn day where I haven't thought of you." He murmured brushing a strand of your silky hair behind your ear. "You consume me. You make me weak. You make me want to live again. Make me have a purpose." He touched his forehead with yours, his voice shaking with emotion.
"Levi..." you whispered and placed your hand on his cheek, rubbing it softly. "I love you too."
And with that he found himself grabbing your waist, pulling closer against his body and lips crushing together. You both sighed in the kiss, like you had finally found what you needed all this time.
His hand went through your hair and tugged them slightly, making you moan a little. You spent the night in each other's arms, your bodies hugging each other. Your warmth being the home you never knew you missed so much.
After you fell asleep, Levi stayed awake, admiring you. Thinking just how lucky he got. Cause he couldn't believe that you were actually here. With him. Together.
He carefully rested your head on his chest, trying not to wake you up, and laid back on his pillow. He placed a lingering kiss on your forehead and xlosed his eyes, enjoying the moment.
And for the first time in a long time, Levi found himself smiling.

I don't think this turned out the way i wanted, but I hope you'll like it either way ♡

6) DOES LEVI HAS FEELINGS FOR HANGE?
When Hange asked Levi to live with her in the forest together, Levi didn't answer and continued to pretend he's unconscious.
When Eren talked to all the Eldians informing them about his plan, Levi got reminded by his goal to kill the Beast Titan so the first thing that came out from his mouth was, 'Where is that piece of shit, Zeke?'
Hange knew that they can't win against Zeke even if they'd fight him together, so she tried to comfort Levi, but her words was cut off when Levi told her, "if we just run away and keep on hiding... what will we have left?" / "What's left... If we run and hide like this..."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Levi (actually) didn't dislike the idea of living together with Hange. He didn't reject her. But they vowed to dedicate their hearts to sacrifice their lives for humanity... He's the captain and she's the commander. The kids still need their guide and help to stop Eren from his plan. When he saw the 'project' Hange was making, he immediately understood that Hange is not the type of a person who can stay still outside the action.
So instead of running away, they both chose to continue fighting and focus on their goals.
Tumblr media
How do Levi see Hange? Is she really just a close friend for him?
Levi didn't express his feelings for her through words until chapter 132...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I heard Levi's words here became a hot topic to Japanese fans because Isayama changed the kanji word used for 'love' into a more romantic meaning and Levi was trying to tell Hange here that her love for titans are unrequited, but Hange's love for him is requited. (Yes, he did intend to say that Hange has feelings for him. Which makes me believe more that Hange asking him to live with her in the forest is really a confession.)
If you need more explanation about this, watch this video and this video or read this post. (It's up to you on how you would take it/respond to all the explanations and analysis)
I'm not Japanese, but I don't need to be a Japanese to notice the sadness in Levi's eyes when Hange tried to change the topic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a long pause (six dots) after Hange changed the topic. If we consider the possible thought that Levi (indeed) confessed his feelings for Hange in this chapter, then we can assume that the long pause was because he's hurt... because Hange ignored his confession 💔
To summarize and explain it in more simpler way, this is the possible conclusion for Levihan's relationship.
-Hange confessed to Levi in chapter 126.
-Levi responded to her confession, telling her that her love for him is requited (unlike her undying love for titans) in chapter 132.
-Hange had a long pause after hearing it (probably shock or something). Levi also had a long pause and he got sad/hurt when Hange changed the topic and ignored his confession...
Again, this is just a possible conclusion, and it's up to you whether to believe it or not.
Tumblr media
Hiroshi Kamiya, (Levi's va) wrote "aishiteru/I love you" below his signature on Romi Park's (Hange's va) script book. Given that Hange's va is already married, then that "I love you" was possibly meant for Hange, and Hiroshi wrote it on behalf of Levi.
Also, I won't shut up about how beautiful Hange is from Levi's point of view
Tumblr media
If Isayama would say that Levi doesn't have any love interest to anyone, then how can he explain this?
Tumblr media
Levi stealing glances to Hange in official arts. I think Isayama doesn't need to confirm anything because Levi's eyes already said it all 💚💜
to be continued~ 🥰

summary: I basically took Isayama’s work, forced it into a romance story, and made Erwin the love interest. Commander meets cadet and they fall in love (not instantly though)
notes: very berry canonverse (but some events were modified to fit my narrative), wasn’t intended to be this long, but it all is in the details right?
content warnings: smut where it fits (or where I make it fit. Also, reader is NOT underage, so likewise, MINORS DO NOT INTERACT, please.) slow burn (I really mean it. I’m not olympic diving into any form of smut for the first chapters.) no angst. I dislike angst. I would never. I could never. (Although angst can be somewhat subjective so take it with a grain of salt?)

“My goodness! You are totally going to find a husband tonight.”
“Do you think it’s too much?” The crisp air flowing in through the open window caressed your bare skin and prompted you to ask the question.
“Who cares? Woman, look at yourself.” Hitch grabbed you by the shoulders and turned you to the mirror.
You examined your reflection again, trying your best to find the confidence required to finally step out of the ladies’ room. You had chosen one of your favorite silk dresses for the occasion: sky-colored, cowl neck that stopped exactly where it was comfortable, and thin bow-tie straps to hold everything up. Yes, definitely a favorite. Favorite, as in ‘best liked’ and not as in ‘frequently worn’. In fact, this was the first time the poor thing ever left your room, where a teenager version of yourself used to wear it late into the night, when the risk of getting caught by your mother equaled zero. She didn’t even know you owned it, but you were certain the thigh slit and the flirty silhouette would be reason enough for her to disapprove. But to be fair, you didn’t remember the fabric ever hugging you this way before. Your body had obviously changed a lot over the years, and you were surprised it still fit.
“Jeez. I really wish I wasn’t on duty tonight, so I could wear one of these.” Hitch let out a disheartened sigh. Her chin was resting on your right shoulder and her eyes examined your reflection from head to toe. When they stopped at the slit in your right leg she said “Those thighs won’t have a problem finding their way into a gentleman’s heart.” She gave you one of those smirks you had missed so much. “Or into his bed…”
“Sadly, I’m not here for that tonight. I’m here for work.”
“Sorry but no one who is here just for work, one, looks this good in a slip dress, and two, takes this long to come out. What about punctuality?”
She was right. You had already taken too long. So, very reluctantly, you decided to walk out the door. But as soon as you stepped out, heads started turning in your direction, the attention mostly coming from women wearing pastry-shaped gowns and opera gloves.
You would be lying if you said you weren’t expecting the attention. You knew the dress had been a daring decision. The moment you slipped on it, you confirmed it had the potential to make heads turn, and maybe some part of you actually wanted a taste of that. Would admitting it make you an attention-seeker? According to your script, however, the scene was supposed to play out a little different, and you had imagined yourself actually enjoying it. But, in real-life, the only thing the dress was succeeding at was awakening dormant insecurities, like that feeling of inadequacy you had almost forgotten about. How could you have forgotten though? You used to be inseparable. That was until you started working at the Survey Corps. You thought of your office, and the familiar picture comforted you for a brief moment, until you remembered it was now miles away.
You smoothed down the front of your dress, in part to look busy and also to dry your sweaty palms, but unlike the silky fabric, the crowd’s eyes felt rough on your skin. And you wished you had decided to wear something less special, something that would allow you to camouflage and pass as one of them. Why did I wear this? Your eyes tried to find the answer in a very promising spot on the floor. Maybe it had been out of pity for the dress. As a dress, it would be disappointing to spend all your life in a dark closet. Maybe it had been for old time’s sake. Since you hadn’t felt that out of place in months, maybe you wanted to remind yourself of the sensation. Or maybe it had all come down to something as simple as the color, and how it reminded you of something you had grown to like so much over the last months.
You turned to Hitch, displaying your bare back to the crowd.
“I can’t do this. Not like this. I’ll go get my coat.”
“Absolutely not. You look perfect, that’s why they are staring, because they like what they see. In fact, I would be worried if they weren-” Her eyes got lost in a particular spot on the other side of the room. “Woah, your boss is hot.”
You turned around and felt like you were coming undone. You didn’t understand why all these eyes were fixed on you, when clearly the best view was across the room, where he was standing.
One look at him and it was obvious that tuxedos had been created just so they could be worn by him. That black suit was exactly the kind of fit a woman would pick out for her man to wear at an event like this. And, while the slicked back hair undoubtedly contributed to the fireworks lighting up all over your skin, the real devil was in all the other details. It was in the way he kept his shoulders back and his chin high as he spoke, in the unconcerned drumming of his fingers against his leg, in the way he threw his head back when laughing, and in the way he seemed to fall into place everywhere he went, whether it was a room full of intimidating people, or a field full of titans. Confidence shone through his skin. Confidence, as well as everything else that made him attractive, came from deep within.
“Alright, now go out there and fulfill your duties.” You felt your friend's hands on your shoulders. “That also includes finding yourself a rich suitor who asks for your hand in marriage.” She whispered into your ear before pushing you into the crowd.
Across the room, the commander was talking to a group of older-looking men. Despite your legs feeling as steady as a house of cards, you started walking towards him. You had successfully made it halfway through the uncomfortable stares, when his eyes finally landed on you. Like everyone else so far, he did a double-take. However, unlike the others, he didn’t turn to the next person to whisper something. Instead, he started making his way to you. And most notably, unlike the others, whose eyes traveled all over your body, back and forth between every patch of exposed skin and resting at all the wrong stops, his didn’t. As he walked to you, his eyes were fixed on yours. And, in that moment, you realized you were very lucky. Because those were the kind of eyes that made the world around you vanish, uncomfortable stares and all.
When you finally met halfway, you decided you would gladly give up your ability to blink. It would be a small price to pay if it meant you would never miss a second of that irresistible smile and the way it made his eyes crinkle. He reached for your hand, and took it in with the kind of gentleness you wouldn’t expect from a man who spends his life around flesh-eating giants.
He brought your hand to his lips, and when they met the back of your fingers, you prayed he didn’t notice all the hairs on your forearms standing on end. The rest of your body was clearly getting jealous of your hand. You could tell by the way your lips parted and let out a very subtle, and you hoped silent, moan.
“May I?” He offered you his arm and you took it promptly, deciding you wouldn’t mind holding on to it for the rest of your life, and if that wasn’t possible, then at least for the rest of the evening.
When you got a closer look at the men he had been previously talking to, you realized you actually knew one of them: Commander Pixis, head of the Garrison. You had never met him formally, but you had seen him a few times around the capital. However, before any introduction could take place, a man with gentle-looking features spoke in a soft voice.
“My lady, Erwin is undoubtedly a very lucky man.”
His words took a few seconds to register with you, but when they finally did, your ears started burning, the sensation spreading like fire to the rest of your face as you realized that they, most likely, still didn't know you were his assistant.
After conversing some more, the commander asked to be excused and guided you to another group of people. And so, as you made your way around the ballroom, you realized there were even more eyes on you now, and it wasn’t surprising, the man beside you was reason enough. But the stares didn’t hold as much weight as they did before, because right now you had his arm to hold.
You glanced up at him, and your lips curved slightly as you remembered the little incident from earlier. Much like that man, these onlookers most likely didn’t know you were just his assistant. And something about that, and the speculations it could lead to, the rumors it could start, and everything else it could imply about you and him, made your insides feel as fizzy as the contents of the glass you were holding. For all they knew, the night would end with your dress discarded on the floor, and bodies tangled under the covers. And you found yourself wishing that whatever assumptions they were making would actually come true.
As the night went on, a couple of things caught your attention. One of them was Captain Levi, who looked like he would much rather attend his own funeral. And the other one was a certain pattern of behavior: Every man you met while holding the commander’s arm, purposely avoided looking at your exposed thigh or bare shoulders, and while their eyes would occasionally linger on your collarbones for an innocent second or two, they would quickly migrate somewhere else.
The evening was already coming to a close when the pattern was sadly broken. To be more precise, it was when you met the group of men standing at the top of the stairs. They had been laughing boisterously and drinking steadily since the evening started. Most of them looked like they were well into their fifties, and all six men were wearing ostentatious sashes dotted with the biggest collection of golden studs you had ever seen. The loudest, and presumably oldest, of them all greeted the commander animatedly.
“Erwin Smith, the legend himself. I’m still waiting for that rematch.” You noticed the cufflinks on his shirt and wondered if those were diamonds, because if they were, then they’ve got to be the biggest in existence. “I’ve been working on my double attacks.”
“Intuition is sometimes far more helpful than memorizing patterns, my lord.” The commander replied in a gentle voice.
“That’s why you’re always one step ahead.” The older man let out a guffaw that, in retrospective, felt a little unnecessary, before turning to you. “Woah. Just like in the game, you never cease to surprise me, Erwin. In very pleasant ways, I must say.” His eyes meticulously outlined all the curves of your body, paying special attention to your covered cleavage, and the amount of time he spent there made you wonder if he had somehow developed the ability to see through fabric. “However, I will never understand how your mind works. There is no way I would bring the missus to an event like this. I mean, the whole purpose of a party is to have fun!” The man and his friends broke out in strident laughter, and that was the only moment his eyes left your body, when he tilted his head back to enjoy his own remark.
“I mean no disrespect to you, my lady,” he may not but his body language sure as hell did, “so please don’t take offense.” With tears in his eyes and still recovering from earlier, he acknowledged you briefly before turning to the commander. “But I was hoping we could become family someday, Erwin. You left quite the impression on my youngest.”
You suddenly felt a burning sensation in your chest, and it had nothing to do with the unsolicited attention it had been getting from the man.
“She asked if you were coming tonight. Sent her regards.” The audacity of this man. If the commander were actually your man, how would you feel listening to all this? “Maybe you could join us for lunch tomorrow. She would be delighted to play against you one more time. She’s brilliant, isn’t she?” And right there and then, you realized there would actually be no difference between how you would feel if you were his wife and how you were feeling in that very moment. This man was basically setting the commander up for a little chess date with his daughter, when his alleged wife, fiancée, girlfriend or whatever, was standing right beside him, holding his arm.
“She’s a very gifted young lady.” The commander’s deep voice contrasted the man’s grating tone. “However, I’m afraid I must decline your kind offer, my lord. I will be returning to the headquarters first thing in the morning.”
“I see.” The man cleared his throat, the gleeful undertone seemingly gone all of a sudden. “Anyway, you’re a lucky man. There’s no denying.” His eyes bore into yours, successfully reminding you of a vulture scavenging for rotting carrion. “Your lady is gorgeous.”
That last remark made you feel like you had swallowed a rock; the way he had said it made your legs feel heavier than concrete; and the stare he had given you while saying it, made you feel as clothed as a titan. You knew once this man found out you were not with the commander, you were done. Once, the words ‘she’s my assistant’ left his mouth, this man would come after you. And you also knew that you wouldn’t get far, not with your legs in that state.
“Yes. She really is.” The commander’s voice sounded a lot like the rainy mornings back at the base. You looked up and found him staring at you, his lips curved into a soft smile, his gaze wrapping you like that well-worn blanket your mother always told you to throw away but you never did. You stared back into his eyes and what you saw, took you back to that day in the Forest of Giant Trees, with his heartbeat like a lullaby, and his arms like a sweet childhood memory.
But then, murmuring sounds came flooding in like muddy water spilling out of the sewers. You turned your head in their direction and realized the older man wasn’t the only one who had taken an interest in your dress, but also his friends.
And you decided you would gladly take the women’s stares over these any day. Who knows, maybe the women had only been thinking about how the color didn’t suit you or how fake the silk looked. But something about the way these men were grinning and whispering to each other told you that they were looking for something in particular, and you were sure it wasn’t the tailor’s name. You would much rather feel cheap and underdressed, than dirty and undressed.
You held onto the commander’s arm with your other hand as well, and snuggled closer, in what seemed to be your body’s desperate attempt to elude the attention.
“If you excuse us, gentlemen.” Much like the seasons, his voice always seemed to know when it was its turn to arrive. He guided you away, and at some point between the top of the stairs and the main hall, his hand came to rest at the small of your back. Even through the fabric, his fingers caused your skin to burn. And for the second time that night, you could feel the rest of your body getting jealous.
“Commander, I think I’ll call it a night.” You announced once you reached the main hall. “Thank you for tonight.” You gently let go of his arm and wondered if that was what autumn leaves felt as they were about to fall from the branches.
He nodded slightly, and, probably having no idea how nice it was going to feel, then said: “I’ll walk you home.”
“Oh don’t worry about it. My house is actually very close.”
“All the more reason to do it then.” His eyes crinkled in that enticing way they usually did and, honestly, you didn’t feel like pretending you were against his proposal.
-
The distinctive smell of frost infused the night air, and slipped into your bustle coat as you walked down the familiar streets that led to your house. There was a lingering warmth still left from the summer, but the mist that hovered above the cobblestones signaled the impending arrival of winter. However, they weren’t fighting for dominance, and you wondered if you would ever know such harmony. You glanced at the man walking just a couple of feet beside you, his eyes, on the road ahead; his mind, somewhere you didn’t know; but his hands, his hands were in his pockets, and you wanted to reach inside his coat and take one.
It had been a dreamy night for the most part, but you could feel your heart shrinking a little with every step you took. Every passing street light signaled another lost chance at getting closure. And you still had lots of words awaiting in your tongue, lots of questions lingering on your lips, and your mouth was heavy with all the things that were yet to be said.
“Lord Wald seems to have problems with alcohol.” He spoke in his usual quiet voice, but there was a certain undertone propping up his words.
“Didn’t seem like that to me.” He looked at you, slight confusion painting his features and causing his head to tilt to one side. “They seemed to get along quite well.”
He chuckled. And you couldn’t stop yourself from doing the same.
“I’m sorry I didn’t realize it sooner.” His eyes were fixed in the cobblestones below his feet, and the underlying something from earlier was still there, but this time you were able to put a name to it: it sounded like remorse.
“It’s okay.” You gave him a reassuring smile, even though he wasn’t looking. “But I feel bad for his wife, and honestly for any woman who crosses paths with him when she’s not around.”
“I highly doubt her presence makes any difference when it comes to his behavior.”
You looked at your hands, they were holding each other as if seeking comfort. “So, you play with her often?” You felt his gaze on you but didn’t look back. “His daughter.”
“Met her once. Very impressive player. Cannot say she got it from her father though.” You faked a smile at the exact same moment a tide of regret washed over you, finally understanding what your mother meant when she said chess was an important life skill.
And speaking about your mother, you caught a whiff of a familiar and otherwise pleasant earthy scent and prayed you wouldn’t find her beloved climbing hydrangea, but when you looked up, it was there. And so was your front door.
“It’s here.” You took a deep breath and released the parting words you had been dreading to say. “Thank you for walking me home, commander.”
He took a step closer, reached for your hand and brought it to his lips, but this time, they parted slightly, taking your knuckles between them in a single, soft kiss. The warmth of his lips and the crisp autumn air blowing on wet skin created a delicious contradiction on your hand. His eyes were closed and his lips lingered, some would say for way longer than was required for a hand kiss. It was a sight deserving of a moan, so you gave him a silent one. One that created a playful tickle in your belly.
But maybe it wasn’t silent enough, because in that very moment he looked back at you. And, as you stared back into the deep blue, you realized those were the kind of eyes that could tell you a million things before his lips could even say a word. Tonight, they were telling you something as well, and although you didn’t know exactly what it was, you knew a few other things.
You knew why your skin tingled under his gaze, and burned under his touch. You knew why the sight of him lifted your heart to the sky while his absence made it sink into a bottomless pit. You knew why his scent reminded you of every secret place you hid in as a little girl, and his voice, of a happier future you wanted to escape to. You knew why the thought of another woman interested in him set your heart on fire, and the idea of him interested in her, crushed it into pieces. And you also knew why you had worn the dress.
You knew the blue of the silk would complement your skin just the same way the blue of his eyes did. You had decided to wear the dress just so you could feel what it was like to have his eyes all over your body. His eyes were not only allowed, but welcome and explicitly invited, to explore every inch of your skin, covered or not. He could stare as much as he wanted, for as long as he wanted, in all the places he wanted. But only him. Because you had worn the dress for him. However he was too much of a gentleman to do it, so you gave him permission.
“Do you like my dress?” You took a step closer, and noticed your hand was still in his.
His eyes drifted to your lips, where they lingered for a second, before following the path marked by your collarbones, down to your clothed breasts where they rested momentarily. Then, they paid a short visit to your hips before finally landing on your thigh, visible through the open coat. It was there where they seemed to feel most at home. And it was then, when you had his eyes on your bare skin, that you became aware of how soaked you were. You squeezed his fingers on instinct at the realization, which caused him to trace his steps back to your eyes.
“Very much.” His voice, almost a whisper; his lips, slightly parted. And you could see his breath, as well as the rising and falling of his chest. He was so close you wondered if he could see what you were thinking of, if he could see how much you wanted him to take the silky fabric off you.
In such proximity, his cologne was even more intoxicating. It was musky and clean, like a fresh bubble bath; sweet and gentle, just like him. You knew it was something you would always crave, even after tonight was long gone. And you wondered how many women had been in this intimate space before, and how many of them were craving his perfume right now.
The small of your back was still tingling from where he touched you earlier. And the rest of your body was demanding the same attention, so you took another step closer.
Goodness, he was so handsome. The kind of handsome that makes you want to know how his lips moved in a kiss, and how his hands followed the curves of your body. And the situation laid out before you provided the perfect opportunity.
The perfect opportunity to stop pretending your feelings were written in some foreign language you had never heard before. The perfect opportunity to call it what it was, once and for all.
“Commander.”
“Yes?” His eyes couldn’t decide between yours and your lips.
“There’s something I want to ask you.” Your voice had never sounded so feeble. “Would you- would you please-” He nodded encouragingly but his breath on your skin was too distracting, successfully causing the opposite effect. “I- I can’t tell you.”
“Then show me.”
His eyes were holding your gaze, and his lips, you could almost taste them.
You could also hear, however, shuffling on the other side of the door, and you looked up to find a light turned on in the second floor.
“If it’s my mother, she’ll ask you to come in. If it’s my father, he’ll force you to.” He let out a chuckle and you found yourself wishing you could make him laugh forever. “Would you like to come in?”
“It’s late. I don’t want to importune anyone.”
“Good choice. If you get my father started, he’ll talk about royal family conspiracy theories all night long.”
“Sounds interesting.”
You did your best to return his smile despite the emptiness you felt when letting go of his hand.
“See you tomorrow, commander. Good night.”

It's finally over
Aot is over and I have so much emotion that I can't process yet. I am so grateful for that show. I have been following it for 7 years, and it brought me to this wonderful fandom and introduced me to my fave ship, Eruri.
I watched the finale, and though I knew what would happen, it still brought me to tears. All the voice actors were terrific, the music was beautiful and nostalgic, and the production was out of this world. Mappa outdid themselves, and I am so grateful for all their hard work.
I am still a bit teary as I type that because AOT has been my comfort show for the last few years. I have seen the episodes countless times, and they still bring so many beautiful and conflicted emotions to this day.
But above all, it gave me a sense of hope in this world.
It opened my eyes and made me understand other people who weren't like me and didn't have the same ideology as me.
I don't think I will ever love a show like this one, and though I am sad it is finished, I am glad I was part of that journey. I laughed, cried, had my heart broken, and was also left amazed.
It was amazing from start to finish, so much that I will even call it a masterpiece.
Thank you, Isayama for creating such an amazing show.

So surprised you don’t have requests, your writing is so soft and fine!! Gonna think of more requests and submit them one by one, but for now how about some sweet sweet angsty pining with Levi x reader with some (actually requited) unrequited love (reader mayhaps thinks Levi has a secret relationship with one of his charges like Petra or maybe even Hange, considering how close they are with him bathing them according to Isayama and what not, but he’s just friends with them and cares for his comrades, nothing romantic about it) with either a happy or hopeful ending?
A/N: I love this!! Here you go! So sorry about it being late.
Jumping to Conclusions
Tumblr media
You watched Levi and Hange walk away together and huffed, picking at your food. It had been like this for a while. Levi would mutter something to an excited Hange, followed by the two going into the washrooms. You frowned, rolling your eyes as you turned to Erwin, who was still going on about mission plans for a few minutes. But you couldn’t focus. Your legs bounced beneath the table and your fingers tapped methodically on your plate.
“Are you listening, Y/n?”
“Hm?” You looked up.
Erwin’s eyes narrowed. “The battle plans. About retaking the walls. What’s gotten you so bothered?”
“Nothing. I’m just tired.”
He sighed. “You’re dismissed, then.” You opened your mouth to protest, but he raised his hand in front of you. “There’s no use in speaking to a scout who can’t listen.”
You sighed in defeat and stood, leaving your plate at the table. Erwin didn’t notice—or didn’t care—as you walked away, staring at the floor. On your way to the living quarters, a door opened and you saw Levi leaving the washrooms. You both stared into each other’s eyes before you scoffed and hurried off.
You heard him grunt as if he was going to try to say something, but nothing came out. Or, at least, you didn’t listen as you ran to your room, slamming the door behind you, and closing your eyes.
Just get over him, you told yourself as you made your way toward your bed. It’s not a big deal.
But as your door opened and you saw Levi peek in, you couldn’t stop your heart from racing. “What do you want?” You grumbled.
“I want you to eat.” Your brow rose as you sat up in bed. Levi had your discarded plate in his hands. “You left this at the table. Erwin is worried about you.” He handed you the plate. “I’m worried about you.”
You stared at him, frowning. “You’re just saying that because you used to be my captain.”
“I’m saying it because you keep running away from me every time you see me, and I just learned that I’m the only one you’re running from.” He sat on your bed. “So, what’s the matter? Did I yell at you? Did I strike a nerve? Did I say something?”
You took a bite of your food, unsure if it would stay down as your heart pounded. “No.”
He scoffed and shrugged, standing. “Okay. Sure.”
“No, you didn’t really do anything wrong. I’m the one who’s wrong.”
He looked back at you. “What?”
Your breath hastened as you looked at him. His silver eyes. His clean-cut hair. His sharp, deceptively youthful features. They all drove you wild and what made his heart flutter? Hange, you thought.
You thought.
But your cloudy thoughts blinded you from the way his steel eyes studied your features. He knew something was wrong. He bit his lip to keep himself from telling you that he could see it on your face. That he could see the misery every time you looked at him.
This wasn’t typical shellshock and it sure as hell wasn’t because you were intimidated by him.
He sat on your bed again. “Y/n, look at me.” You did just that. In fact, you couldn’t stop doing that. Levi, who wasn’t seen touching anybody or anything with even the slightest bit of filth, cupped your year-stained cheek. “What’s really bothering you, Y/n?”
“You’re in love with someone else.”
Levi seemed taken aback; his fingers tensed. “Who told you that?”
“Why else would you and Hange go to the washrooms together?!” Your words were supposed to come out accusatory and angry, but your cracked lips betrayed you as they left in a broken sob.
His face scrunched in confusion before he understood. “If you keep jumping to conclusions, you’re going to ruin your legs. And you need those to run away from me, right?” He murmured, the slightest teasing tone in his voice. “I’m not in love with Hange.”
“Then why do you bathe with them?”
“I don’t bathe with them. I bathe them. They’re disgusting. Every day. You’d think that one of the brightest minds in the Scout Regiment would know how to smell better than shit, but they fail at that.”
You laughed softly. “So, you don’t love them?”
“Not like that. I do like someone, though,” he said, his eyes flickering to you. “And, my God, they’re an idiot.”
You tilted your head as hope and despair battled for your heart. “Who?”
“See? They’re an idiot.” He patted your cheek and let go. “They care too much and when they realize that they care too much, they run away. Or they jump to conclusions. No matter what, though, they’re cursed to be an idiot.”
Hope won.
You grinned at him. “Would I be jumping to conclusions if I thought it was me?”
“I don’t think you’re jumping to conclusions by saying you’re an idiot. Now, finish your food. Maybe I’ll bathe you next.”

He LIVED Bitches!!!!
Tumblr media
Long post ahead
First thing first... I love this starting pallet (i'm definitely overthinking)
Tumblr media
Not complete white not complete black with prominent shadows, because every major character in the show is grey and one half of each partnership likes to lurk in shadows...This just highlights that things won't always be merry and colourful, but they won't completely be helpless...
Now to the episode itself...
We knew Aya was going to jump... Glad she was oh so delicately caught by Aku... I didn't think it was possible to clear everything in one episode, but expect the unexpected i guess...
And the main part of Dazai being alive and kicking...No but really, this is such a relief...
I kinda had the whole thing in the back of my mind that they can't kill Dazai, he is necessary for the plot armour to plot armour and all that shit...
But there was equal chances of Asagiri taking notes from Isayama or Gege and just decide, fuck it... let's keep him dead....If not the confirmed dead thing, then the dead till stated otherwise route that Hori took.
But i'm soooo glad Asagiri didn't do that!!!
Also, glad to know he is still as cocky as ever
Tumblr media
AND AND AND
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I screamed!!!! My fam started looking at me for two whole minutes like i've just gone crazy!!!
Because we got the prettiest boy speaking!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The look on Fyodor's face when he realised he was played by the one he had completely under his control (or he thought he had)... I think he realised the 'shallow bond' comment haunted him in this moment
I will deep dive into what exactly happened in those seconds in a later post, but i just wanna say
Tumblr media
This is soooo damn funny!!!! Like you have this big bad mafia boss who has been MIA for the whole part of world destruction and his precious city being in the centre of it all (lets face it mori loves Yokohama more than he loves the whole world, he would gladly let the world burn if it means keeping that damn trouble-magnet city safe!) - BUT BUT BUT, then when things start to look up you only get a mention of the said boss and that too with a goofy fact such as he glued in vampire fangs to one of his executives! Don't tell me it's not an embarrassing dad thing to do, because it is!!!
I just know he, Hirotsu and Koyo has a hell of a time getting teenage soukoku to adulthood alive!!!
I mean -
Tumblr media
WHAT DO YOU MEAN SIR YOU USED TO DO THIS ALL THE TIME???
No one's doing it like them!!!
Plus i just know Manga coming out is going to be even more gay than the anime, there will be more explanations and more fruity moments!!!
On a sad note...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fyodor actually seems to be dead ( even if i don't believe it)
It hurt so bad to see Gogol man going - i wanted him dead, no i didnt, but maybe i did. His voice alone mad me sad...
But you know what i'm not sad about???
Getting rid of Fukuchi!!!
I'm not going to pretend that i felt even an ounce of sympathy for him, his whole 'i did this so you can bring peace' or 'some sacrifices are necessary for greater good' thing seemed forced to me. Like a desperate attempt at ending his character arc on a forgiving note, positive note...
But like i said, most characters in this show are grey... But there was none of Fukuchi's shade, and i didn't like it, even if in the end he wanted peace.
i do feel sad for Fukuzawa though,
Tumblr media
He will have to live with that curse...
Plus i don't think Fukuchi is completely gone...
Decay of angel's may be over, but the mess they have left behind is not, there is still the other side of the page and whatever the fuck went down in those two hours...
Tumblr media
But i'm glad that atleast Aku and Atsushi are on same side this time...
Tumblr media
and this looks so much like:
Tumblr media
So yeah, it's just another start!!!
Plus, You remember Soukoku came to fame after final battle of Dragon Head conflict?
The Finale of Decay of Angels will the foundation of Shinsoukoku's journey...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The two of them against all the threats to come...
We sure are in for a treat!!!

Mainly a post about levihan but I have tried imagining different scenarios wherein Hange did not have to die, where an ending involved them… looking back though, knowing what they're up against, risking any titan shifter really is not an option for the team… they could just not lose any of them to have a big chance of winning against Eren and stopping the rumble. Many have been saying why couldn't it be Jean that battled the wall colossal titans? While it is true he is told to be exemplary at using ODM gear among his class, our Captain Commander Hange would not be able to bear to sacrifice yet another life of their subordinate. I just could not imagine how greatly it would break Hange's heart and will had they deliberately ordered Jean to do so.
This feat, however, was viewed by many as Hange's suicide rather than a sacrifice… both are true whichever way one would put it.
It is a sacrifice for those of their team to not have a heavy burden to carry on their shoulders to decide who will be left behind, because let's face it, then and there all of them knew that in order to delay the wall colossal titans' movement, one of them should and will be left behind. It was a cold, sad, gruesome fact that I believe Hange did not want any of them to live through. BUT, I also saw it as their way out.
They were just tired… the whole truth that unraveled was so disappointing, I was actually surprised they were able to keep such a composure that made them last until Chapter 132. I can only imagine how dumbfounded Hange was when they have learned that titans are once humans, and that the one person they protected and believed to be a new hope would now be the exact opposite. It was heartbreaking… their appointment as the 14th Captain Commander could also not have come at a worse time, and it was actually relatable in a sense where we were somehow forced to have responsibilities at a young age that we did not fully understand. They saw the opportunity. They grabbed it…
But let's delve in with how the conversation went with Levi. Shinzou sasageyo-- spoken only once by the Heichou, but how powerful and cinematic was it to have him speak those words to the only person he has left at such a time. Oh but I knew that Hange knew if Levi stopped them from going, they would have second thoughts. What once an unbreakable commitment to die will be easily thrown out if only Levi said "Stay." consequently telling him to just let them go.
Isayama would not waste 3 panels showing emotions through Levi's eyes before telling Hange to dedicate their heart if the latter was not important to the captain, and what a beautiful moment it was~ I will be forever grateful to Isayama for not cutting short on that moment, for taking the time to draw those 3 panels of Levi's eyes, and Hange's panel showing astonishment, for letting Levi call Hange "Four eyes" for the last time. That moment was excruciatingly heartbreaking, but it was perfect in its own way… because it was not ~cut short~, and to choose to say "See you later, Hange. Please watch over me." instead of goodbye was so symbolic of the love Levi had to let go but did not want to.
Personally, I do not see Levi and Hange as a romantic couple, but more of platonic soulmates, comparable to one's bestfriend whom you can call at 2 in the morning asking if they believe in God, and the one you would give a handmade bracelet and would not be embarrassed to wear it, that type of platonic relationship. It's difficult not to attest to LeviHan ship when Isayama created so many subtle but not meaningless encounters between the two. One great example was the forest scene right after Hange rescued Levi, and let us not forget their complementary eye injuries. Some may say that fans are ridiculously exagerrating the connections, and that we give too much meaning to scenes that happened just because they did, that they are only coincidences… but Isayama, the great artist that he is, would not make coincidences, especially reoccurring ones.
