hello I just thought you would appreciate these very orange fellows I found in the wild while bug searching in some grass. I’ve never seen some really orange guys in person before!
that does look like an orange Porcellio scaber! I haven’t found one of those in the wild yet, but here is one of mine (she has a mutation that gives her freckles). orange is a recessive mutation in most isopods and one of the more common ones to see in the wild, but still a rare occurrence! there might be more about in the same area since isopod gene pools tend to stay localized
