Lin Kuei Sibling Headcanons

I gotta stop using the same gifs over and over again. Anywho, just random headcanons about them when they were younger. A few of these is what my siblings and I did but listen-. No sad shit this time around, but next time issa wrap no bun (word to CoryXKenshin)

When they were younger Bi-Han realized someone was drinking his shit, so he started spitting in it

He also loudly announces that he did so and that whoever drank his shit was drinking his germs 

Kuai Liang responded by saying “well we both share the same DNA”

Revolting. Yuck. 

Tomas smiles when he's nervous so people always think he's lying. 

“Did you drink my slushy?” “No” “Yes you did. You're smiling” “YOU'RE MAKING ME NERVOUS”

D if you ever see this, I did not drink that fucking slushy years ago and getting mom involved was actually so foul. “Put that on my dead granny”, WHY WOULD I LIE ON GRANDMA? I SHOULD'VE drank it. Should've took a big ass gulp

Like I said in my last post, Bi-Han and Kuai Liang have definitely jumped Tomas before 

They call it play fighting, Tomas calls it attempted murder 

Bi-Han is the “come here” brother and Tomas is the “you're gonna hit me” brother 

Bi-Han is also the “you want a cookie?” and Tomas is the “what'd you do to it?”

Speaking of those two, the real reason Bi-Han doesn't like Tomas is because Tomas would stand in his doorway and when Bi-Han would tell him to get out, Tomas would say “I'm not in your room”

Kuai Liang would put his finger close to Bi-Han but say he's not touching him 

That's the real reason he betrayed them. It's true. I asked him. 

Idk which one them does it but one of these mfs puts the cereal box in front of them to ignore the brother they're mad at 

Tomas is “your dad is pissing me off”, Kuai Liang is “lmao what happened?”

Bi-Han’s room is the chill out spot against his will

Kuai Liang has accidentally set someone on fire 100% and they never let him live it down (my siblings did that on purpose but scooting right along) (no one died😃)

Tomas is the victim of white jokes. He'll say smth and here comes Bi-Han “why are you?? speaking?? to me?? as a white person?? go eat salt??”

Kuai Liang is “hey can I have a bite?” and Bi-Han says “sure” then licks all over whatever he has.

Bi-Han has gotten the other two into several fights ‘cause he has a bad temper and his siblings ride for him 

This one time my sister yelled at a teacher for yelling at me and that's Bi-Han. Like yeah, he's not the nicest as an adult but as a kid? The only mf that's allowed to yell at his brothers is HIM. 

They've all gotten whooped because none of them snitch on each other. This is a ride or die brotherhood (for now) (not me tho. My mom got a heavy ass hand. You're on your own)

“Tell your brother to do those damn dishes” “you want me to say it like that? with the curse word?” “go ahead”

Whoever it is goes to their brother and- “dad said get your big nasty ass up and clean those motherfucking dishes before he whoops your skinny long neck ass”

Kuai Liang is the “I only had a cup” when the juice is all gone. Yeah, you had a big ass cup you get from Super America. The Minute Maid is gone because of you 

Bi-Han and Kuai Liang, “Say Fuck, I'm not gonna tell dad”. Tomas says “no” and the day he does say it now he's being blackmailed 

Kuai Liang would help Bi-Han look for shit he knows he took. Y'all may think Kuai Liang would never do such a thing. He's so sweet. THAT'S HOW HE GOT AWAY WITH IT!

When they accidentally really hurt the other and hear their parents, they have different reactions. Bi-Han is the “tell them. I don't care. Actually, I'll tell them for you” brother. Kuai Liang is the “wait wait wait, calm down. Stop crying. Look, you can hit me back. You want candy?” brother. Tomas is the “that was actually an accident. My bad” brother. 

Tomas actually learned all that smoke… magic… uhh… shit so he could defend himself cause he was getting ragdolled in that house 

Kuai Liang is actually really nice to Tomas now cause he looks back and thinks “wow, I was kinda an asshole”

For example, Tomas was living his life and here comes these maniacs grabbing him and putting his bare feet in the snow 

Idk, I just really think Tomas was fighting for his life in that house 

It was all in love but now he jumps when they move a little too fast

Tomas tells his brothers he loves them a lot because he wasn't able to tell his birth family before they were killed. He wants them to always know and whenever their time does come, he wants it to be the last thing they hear from him or the last thing he says before he dies. 

Kuai Liang usually says it back or says something else comforting. His way of saying “I love you” can be something as simple as a hand on the shoulder. Sometimes instead of saying “I love you”, he says “I care about you”. Personal preference 

Bi-Han used to say “I love you” back but as time passed, he stopped. He's someone who gets kinda uncomfortable when it comes to vulnerable emotions. His way of saying “I love you” is “are you hurt?”. It's usually only used after a form of combat but combat can make you realize that your life is on a time limit. We saw in game and by intro dialogues that he was hurt by Kuai Liang not sticking by him. The idea that he doesn't care for his family AT ALL I think is false. I think he cares but he cares about his own goals more.

At least 13 killed, including 7 children, after strike on Gaza’s Al-Maghazi refugee camp

At least 13 people were killed, including seven children, and more than 25 injured after a strike targeted Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza on Tuesday, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital officials. Graphic video, obtained exclusively by CNN from eyewitness Nihad Owdetallah, shows several casualties scattered on the floor, including children, with blood streaming around the area. Dozens of people appear to be running around in panic, screaming and trying to count and carry the dead bodies. A foosball table covered in dust is seen among the dead bodies. Owdetallah, who lives in the camp, told CNN he heard an explosion at around 3:40 p.m. local time on Tuesday around 30 to 40 meters away from him. “I immediately walked to see what happened and found dead bodies thrown on the ground. People screaming, kids screaming. Kids dead on the ground. They were just playing foosball, and they were martyred,” he said. Footage shot for CNN from inside Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital shows a continuous flow of casualties and injured people being ushered in, as the emergency room is crowded with patients, including several wounded children, crying out on the floor. Family members are seen crowding over their loved one’s dead bodies, kissing them, holding onto them and sobbing. Video from inside a morgue at the hospital shows families trying to identify their loved ones among the deceased. Fatmeh Issa points to a white body bag with a young boy’s bloodied face exposed, telling CNN, “This is my son.” Another man cries out, “They have nothing to do with anyone! They are civilians. Have mercy on us. You are killing children. .....On Tuesday, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced it had apprehended nearly a quarter of a million (240,988) illegal aliens at the U.S.-Mexico border in October. While the totals mark a slight (11 percent) decrease from September’s peak numbers, it’s a record high for the month of October, contributing to the worsening border crisis brought about by the Biden administration’s lax enforcement policies.

Last month, CBP arrested an all-time record high of 269,735 illegals, bringing the total number of apprehensions for fiscal year 2023 “to more than 2.47 million.” As The Federalist’s Tristan Justice reported, CBP’s September numbers “also broke the record for the number of migrants attempting to enter who are on the government’s terror watch list.” Fiscal year 2023’s totals represent an alarming trend upward from the roughly 2.38 million encounters recorded in fiscal year 2022 and 1.73 million in 2021.

It’s worth mentioning that these figures don’t even include the more than 1.7 million “gotaways” who have successfully avoided capture when crossing the border since Biden took office.

The ongoing crisis — which empowers Mexican-based cartels and their human and drug smuggling operations — apparently doesn’t matter to some House Republicans, however. On Monday, eight GOP representatives voted with Democrats to block a resolution introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his allowance of the disaster to continue unaddressed.

The Republicans who sided with Democrats are Republican Reps. Darrell Issa, Tom McClintock, and John Duarte of California, Ken Buck of Colorado, Patrick McHenry and Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, Cliff Bentz of Oregon, and Mike Turner of Ohio.

Dr Omar Hassouna, who moved to Walsall, [England,] said he found out in a phone call from his brother on Tuesday [17 October]. His niece, her husband and their two-month-old baby "instantly died" after a wall fell on them when they were sleeping, he said. Dr Hassouna said his brother "just could not speak" and it was "very, very upsetting". "She was very close to me personally," he added. "I just cried today, so incredibly unbelievable." Dr Hassouna has lived in Walsall for more than 40 years but recently visited Gaza to see his family. He said the current situation was "very frightening" and his family were "not sure whether [they're] going to live tomorrow or not." "These people, they don't know where to go," he added.

Rep. Ruben Gallego hurled profanity at Sen. Ted Cruz after the Texas Republican worried that Democrats and the media would use the massacre of elementary students Tuesday to curb gun rights.

In a series of coarse tweets reflecting the raw outrage at the slaying of at least 18 children and a teacher in Uvalde, Texas, Gallego, D-Ariz., also alluded to an infamous 2021 trip to Cancun, Mexico, Cruz took as his state grappled with massive blackouts following a winter storm.

"Fuck you @tedcruz you care about a fetus but you will let our children get slaughtered. Just get your ass to Cancun. You are useless," Gallego wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Twenty-one minutes later, Gallego doubled down on the message:

"Just to be clear fuck you @tedcruz you fucking baby killer."

Gallego did so in response to remarks by Cruz reported by CNN.

“Inevitably when there's a murderer of this kind, you see politicians try to politicize it, you see Democrats and a lot of folks in the media whose immediate solution is to try to restrict the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens,” Cruz said.

Gallego later turned his anger at Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who had tweeted, "Our thoughts and prayers are with these families."

"Fuck your prayers. They haven’t worked for the last 20 mass shootings how about passing laws that will stop these killings," Gallego said.

Gallego also ripped Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., after she condemned the shooting.

“We are horrified and heartbroken by the senseless tragedy unfolding at Robb Elementary School in Texas and grateful to the first responders for acting swiftly,” Sinema said in a statement. “No families should ever have to fear violence in their children's schools.”

“Please just stop.. unless you are willing to break the filibuster to actually pass sensible gun control measures you might as well just say ‘thoughts and prayers,’” Gallego responded.

Gallego is viewed as a potential 2024 primary challenger to Sinema, who has angered many Democrats with her support of the legislative filibuster. That issue is often cast as the principal roadblock to a more aggressive agenda passing in Washington, though there other hurdles, such as Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who has previously balked at various measures, including gun controls.

Last year, House Democrats passed a bill that would effectively require background checks on private gun sales by involving gunmakers or gun dealers as third parties. That measure passed 227-203 with support from all but one Democrat and with eight Republicans.

It has stalled in the Senate, where it's unclear whether it could gain a simple majority because of Manchin's prior resistance on gun measures.

Texas state Sen. Roland Gutierrez said 18 children and three adults were dead based on a briefing by state police, he told the Associated Press. Three people wounded in the attack are hospitalized in serious condition, he said.

Gallego's anger, which included a similarly profane tweet at the National Rifle Association, overshadowed a more measured comment from his official account in which he said, "We have surrendered our communities and our children to an endless parade of tragedy. Enough with the thoughts and prayers: we must take action and confront gun violence."

For his part, Cruz issued a less politically charged statement shortly after news of the nation's latest mass shooting first broke. In it, Cruz said he and his wife "are fervently lifting up in prayer the children and families in the horrific shooting in Uvalde." He also thanked the "heroic" police and first responders for their efforts at the scene.

The remarks by both Gallego and Cruz reflect the clear dividing lines on addressing America's mass shootings and the contempt each side seems to hold for the other, especially after flashpoint moments such as the Uvalde massacre or the apparently race-fueled rampage at a Buffalo grocery that left 10 people dead less than two weeks earlier.

Others in Arizona's congressional delegation retreated to less-insulting and more familiar rhetoric after the latest slayings.

Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., said she was "heartbroken to hear of the events in Uvalde, Texas today. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, the injured, and their families."

Rep. Greg Stanton, D-Ariz., said, "We can't go on like this, waiting for tragedy to strike. It will, again and again, if we don't act. Words alone won’t stop these tragedies. Congress must have the courage to protect our children and pass common sense gun safety laws. And we must do it right now."

Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., whose wife, former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., survived a 2011 mass shooting that killed six, committed again to looking for legislation that can pass in an environment where little does.

"It infuriates me that Americans have come to expect that their federal government will once again react to the murder of schoolchildren by doing nothing," he said in a statement.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who is running for the Republican nomination to challenge Kelly for the Senate, said, "Our prayers are with the victims and their families of the despicable act of violence in Texas this afternoon. We must all stand together against evil and those who target our most vulnerable."

Other Republican Senate hopefuls, such as Blake Masters and Jim Lamon, didn't immediately post statements about the Texas shooting.

On Tuesday, "Succession," an HBO series about a cunning media tycoon and his squabbling family, received 25 Emmy nominations, one of which was for the coveted best drama award.

It will compete against "Squid Game," the first non-English language Emmy nominee from Netflix Inc, which is a South Korean thriller.

In "Squid Game," competitors who are short on cash vie for prize money, occasionally at their peril.

Both HBO's "Euphoria," about youth juggling sex, drugs, and social media, and the sci-fi sensation "Stranger Things" from Netflix were nominated for the drama award at the televised industry's highest accolades.

Among its 20 nominations, the cheery series "Ted Lasso" will defend its best comedy crown. The show will go up against "Hacks," "Only Murders in the Building," and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel".

Hannah Waddingham, who starred in "Lasso" and was nominated for a supporting actress Emmy last year, said she was surprised to receive a second nomination because she felt she had "had my minute."

For everyone of us, it's a little bit of a magical moment, she remarked of the cast of the programme. The "Lasso" cast had ten nominees.

With 20 nominations, HBO's "The White Lotus," which follows guests and workers at a posh beachside resort, earned a spot in the competition for best limited series.

On September 12, the Emmy Award winners will be revealed.

This year, the Television Academy received a record number of entries, according to CEO Frank Scherma, indicating that production was rebounding after being halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The nominees were dominated by streaming television programmes, continuing a trend as viewers migrate to internet viewing. HBO and HBO Max received 140 nominations. Netflix received a 105.

For "Succession," which won best drama in 2020, there were fourteen acting nominations. In the race for outstanding actor, Brian Cox will face off against Jeremy Strong.

Adam Scott, the star and acting nominee of the newcomer "Severance," a psychological thriller about office workers, is speechless after learning that it has received 14 nominations and will compete for best drama.

A brand-new show from ABC, which is owned by Walt Disney Co, "Abbot Elementary" entered the competition for best comedy.
