Shirouissei with einzbern shirou 'maybe in another life kisses' shirou giving issei one last kiss to remember him by because he "knows" hes going to die in an upcoming battle and for the first time he actually regrets that he's going to die in this war. Hakurin can we do this forever kisses where Rin is pulling Hakuno by the tie into a classroom as the sun sets outside and the moment is so perfect they never want it to end.

Sorry I could only get one out at the moment, hopefully I'll do that HakuRin one another time : )

Shirou waited outside the school.

It’s been fun, coming to school and acting like a normal student, although a troublesome one.

It was a life he was never meant to have, but he still enjoyed the glimpses he got of it.

But now it was time to say goodbye.

From the day he became an Einzbern, his life was no longer his.

It belonged to Illya.

“Einzbern?” Issei noticed him at the gate. He looked upset. “I’ve been wondering what happened to you.” He adjusted his glasses. “Why are you back all of a sudden?”

“Why? Aren’t you glad to see me?” Shirou opened his arms and grinned, but Issei only gave him a disapproving look. “Look, how about we walk for a bit?”

“I don’t see why not.” Issei sighed.

Fuyuki looked pretty during the sunset. It was calm, and melancholic.

A fitting vibe to how he was feeling.

He looked at this town and saw the life he used to have, the life that was taken from him.

And turned to his side, and saw the boy he fell in love with, as much as he tried to convince himself that he was toying with him.

That it was fun to flirt with him because he was so uptight.

But Issei was so kindhearted, that Shirou fell for him.

“You didn’t invite me to just walk, did you?” Issei turned to him, and this time, He looked concerned. “Is something wrong?”

“Yeah.” Shirou stopped and sighed. “I think I might leave town. I can’t tell you why, but I just wanted to say goodbye.”

“I see.” Issei sighed. He looked down for a moment, then back at him. “Well, you’ll always be welcomed here. I will not ask about your reasons, but… I will miss you, despite how troublesome you are.”

Shirou noticed the small blush on the boy’s face, and chuckled.

And then, Shirou cupped his face and kissed him. It was a short kiss, he even pulled away before Issei could kiss him back.

“Thanks for everything.” Shirou took one last look at his surprised face, and then turned to the other side. “Goodbye, Issei.”

“Wait, Einzbern…!”

Shirou kept walking.

He said what he needed to say. There was no point looking back anymore.

It's funny.

He never thought he'd regret dying.

Issei Route would be too strong

A F/SN Issei route would be so good. First off, we'd get more Issei. Issei is actually a pretty fun character, he just has very little screentime. He's easy to tease. Rin is consistently in each route so she would be with them and it would be funny to have their banter back and forth. A fun bisexual love triangle (which F/SN already has). Would also be an interesting exploration of Shirou's sexism, cause now it's gonna be contrasted with Issei's different brand of sexism. Second off, bi Shirou. Would be funny to have Shirou come to terms with that, but part of me thinks that he would be barely phased at all. Like something he'd never thought about, but when the moments happened he'd be like "Oh, huh, that makes sense, feels natural". Like he'd probably blush heavily in the lovey-dovey scenes, but I feel like he'd very easily go with the flow the rest of the time and Issei would be the one blushing and reading into things too much. God, how would Archer react. Like, again, it could be something Shirou never even thought about, ever, too busy being a hero. Him watching Shirou and Issei fall in love would blow his mind. Third off, CASTER ROUTE. With Caster being true best girl of F/SN, but being already taken (sorry fellas and ladies), a route for her was never really an option. But since Issei is directly connected to her base and her partner, it gives an easy opportunity for more drama and clashes with her AND probably the best chance there'd ever be to team up with her. We'd get so much more screentime of her, we'd get to explore her trust issues, her complex about girls, etc.

It'd also just be nice for there to be more male characters that weren't antagonists. Not that's a bad thing in F/SN, just that it'd be nice for Shirou to have more positive relationships with men on screen.

I love when Japanese media has characters comment on each other's names being weird or old fashioned or not fitting their gender, because I have absolutely no frame of reference. Like, Riddle Story of the Devil does it too, and I'm like, sure, Tokaku's a weird name if it means something that cannot exist. That's weird. If you say so. "Ryuudou Issei" is an old fashioned name? Sure! I have absolutely no idea.
