Today on Gale Squad's Adventures:

I spend way too much time trying to find an alternate early game outfit for my girl until the Scalemail of Devotion's coloration gets fixed.

We get backup from best kitty princess, who is helping out since Gale Squad suuucks with animal handling checks. We decide to go and clear out the swamp in our precog attempts to save Mayrina's doomed brothers, and they come in clutch against the red caps.

And as we're sweeping through trying to find and disarm traps, Gale happens upon a cute little frog!

For once in his life, he succeeds an animal handling check!

Which of course means--

he's committed an offense most grave.

and the gd frog nearly ONE SHOTS him.

brony history is just a very iconic part of internet culture in my eyes, i think the premiere of friendship is magic was a huge part of that golden age of the internet to me and a lot of kids where it was all flash games, baby mmos and youtube videos at 240p of video game characters saying bad words and it was such a big part of the online space i think, even if you werent into mlp you had some tie to it, the fandom was so big it reached into other fandoms, there was a Discord amv for every fucking villain ever made, ponifying famous characters was so popular it ended up making its way into the show, n this was also the time of the creepypasta boom so there was entirely new subsection of derivative media of cartoon horses covered in blood !! idk. its just a very interesting point for me

And then another run in with kies parents makes him realise he’s all that she needs cos her parents are a piece of shit. Then JJ opens the damn door in kitty hawk and finally kisses kie like please I just can’t- A FAN FIC RIGHT THERE. 😭😭

OH MY GOD the things that were so spot on to fic this season were JUST-

I LOVE THE PATES FOR SO MANY THINGS that I can gloss over some of the other things.

No, but seriously, they have listened to the fans, and I think did their best to deliver while still preserving the story they wanted to tell. It's just beautiful to see! I ADORE the details they put in and the parallels they draw!
