I did an analysis of the meaning of Ed touching Stede's chest, hand over heart, here.
But now I wanna talk about the meaning of face touches - and Ed's outfits - across both seasons.
Bathtub Comfort
The first time Stede touches Ed's face is when Ed is seeking comfort. After he opens up about him being the Kraken, killing his dad and his plan to kill him, Stede offers a comforting shoulder squeeze and Ed deepens it by lying his head against Stede's hand. It is an intimate moment of vulnerability for both, especially Ed and he doesn't hesitate to accept it.
While Ed is wearing his Blackbeard outfit here, he is also covered in Stede's robe, like just the thought of Stede's presence can be a shield to the outside world and Ed's internal emotional struggle. And to have Stede come in and physically touch him, his face, Ed is completely comfortable in this combination of both of them, their vulnerability.
Tumblr media
This Is Happening
In the next episode, Stede points out food in Ed's beard and when Ed can't find it, Stede asks permission to take it out. He doesn't fully reach for it until Ed gives permission (the amount of consent between these two, especially in the second season is so special to me) and leans forward (the classic Ed leans toward Stede movement that continues throughout the show.)
Ed is also not wearing his full Blackbeard outfit here, he has stripped down to just a simple purple T-shirt and pants. And we know that purple comes out as Ed's feelings for Stede deepen. So in this moment, Ed is more Ed than Blackbeard.
This is a soft, tender moment that shows the growing feelings between them. Stede's voice is as soft as his reach and touch while Ed looks at Stede so fondly, openly vulnerable.
Tumblr media
Beach Kiss Eins
The first time Ed touches Stede's face, is during their first kiss. As soon as Stede responds, Ed moves his hand to his neck and down to his chest. And the pattern of vulnerability, closeness, and gentleness continues.
Neither of them are wearing their normal clothes here. They are wearing uniform, tan ill-fitting sacks (foreshadowing). Their first kiss is not only bare with emotional intimacy but of their identities. They aren't Blackbeard and the Gentleman Pirate during this moment, they are Ed and Stede, two men in love for probably the first time, sitting on a beach, the combination of land and sea.
Tumblr media
Let's move to Season Two.
Cake Toppers
Oh, the cake toppers. Those damn cake toppers. They are the embodiment of the two of them to Ed, who caresses the wedding cake topper resembling Stede so much that he rubs some of the paint off. And just like every touch between the two of them so far, Ed lightly grazes the figure in a tentative but gentle way that shows he still has deep feelings for this man no matter how many raids, rhino horn, or self abusive behavior he tries to use to drown out his pain and the Kraken persona that he has put on like a sea monster lost in the deep dark depths of the sea.

Stede's Dream
In Stede's dream about their reunion, the two comically Monty Python (can we call them Monty Pyrates from now on?) run down the beach and full body collide against each other rolling to get on their sides, where Ed is the one to reach forward and touch Stede's face. This is Stede remembering how Ed did the same thing during their first kiss and he is recreating this moment in a fairytale fashion.
Their clothing is once again notable. Stede is wearing a more traditional pirate costume, earring, and has grown a beard. While we saw sword training last season between the two of them, Stede does not truly start wearing one until later in the second season. This is him trying to become who he thinks Ed would want, not the bumbling semi-pirate, but the confident, killing pirate with facial hair and more down-to-earth look. Ed is not only portrayed in his traditional garb but he has his old beard is back, he is the version that Stede first fell in love with. (Stede loves Ed as Ed though, no matter what he wears.)
Tumblr media
Moonlight Serenade
Their first kiss under the moonlight is tentative and is a mirror of the moon scene in season one.
This is the first time that Stede touches Ed's face during kissing of his own volition. Even when he was trying to bring Ed back to life in episode three, he held his hand and pounded on his chest, over his heart, trying to shock it into fully beating to life.
He's been dreaming of Ed as touching his face again like the first kiss, but instead Stede is the one who moves his hand to Ed's face, and deepens the kiss. Because Stede is ready for this, and he wants to show Ed that he is here, he is committed to them. It is Ed who pulls away and asks to take it slow, because he is the one who has to heal in this scenario. This is his season, his season to heal, grow, and learn to reconcile all three sides of his being.
When Ed pulls back, Stede immediately responds, taking his hands off Ed to respect his wishes. And he only touches him again after gaining consent to hold his hand. Once again, we are treated to their gentleness, hesitancy, but the underlying love they have for each other is present in every cradle, fingers through hair, consent.
Instead of like the first season where they walk away in different directions, looking back at each other while trying to puzzle out what happened, they walk away together, toward the captain's cabin, still talking about their day and playfully playing off each other.
Once again they are not wearing their normal clothes, particularly, Ed is not wearing his Blackbeard outfit. He is wearing a light-colored onesie made from a potato sack as well as a cat bell. A bell he purposefully makes ring in an adorable shoulder shake to let Stede know that he is coming in for a kiss - unlike their first one, where he almost surprises Stede with it. We don't see it, but I bet Ed thought that maybe if he didn't surprise him, if he hadn't kissed him but kept talking, Stede wouldn't have left him. He probably blamed himself for that, so he made sure this time that Stede knew what was happening beforehand.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Calypso's Birthday
They are both physically injured from Ned Low's torture as well as in mental distress here. Stede is having flashbacks of his childhood and blood on his face because this is the first time he has purposely gotten blood on his hands. Ed is upset at seeing Stede take this step, thinking that he has corrupted him. But once again, they both consent to this, Stede does not even move forward or kiss Ed until Ed nods his head and then physically pulls Stede against him. This kiss is a combination of the first two. Ed's hand wraps around and on Stede's neck like the beach one, while Stede's hand snakes its way into Ed's hair when he deepens the kiss. This is the first and only time we see their bodies align and touch at more than just the contact of hands and lips.
Later on we see both of them in a different state of undress. Ed's hair is completely down, and he's once again in a t-shirt, stripped down emotionally and looking at Stede like he's the center of the world as the colors of their love - red and purple - surround them, until Ed looks directly at Stede and the burst of yellow - his lighthouse - shines bright. Stede is already shirtless at this part, his vulnerability bared skin-surface level.
Tumblr media
Beach Kiss Zwei
And of course, we reach the finale, where In general the number of touches has escalated; they have chosen each other, chosen to give this a try. Ed emerges out of the ocean and all three themes (the Kraken, Blackbeard, and Ed) play all in a row, because he took what Pop-Pop said to heart and embraced all three of his identities to save and protect his loved ones.
One hand is on Stede's face almost the entire time they are reunited on the beach, and after the first kiss and apology, Ed moves both hands to Stede's face, using that leverage to pull him in for a kiss, holding onto him for dear life. He doesn't let go until Stede responds to his "I love you" reassuring Ed that he knows that, and Ed can drop his worry about Stede not knowing/hearing those words before that moment. Ed smiles and moves his hands down, and if they weren't in the middle of a battle, he would have wrapped his arms around him, pulled him in to align with his body, and kissed him again.
I particularly love this one because we can see the desperation, especially for Ed during this moment. He clearly doesn't want to stop touching Stede, only doing so out of necessity at the end. Stede is quiet, that calmness that Ed needs, just enjoying being in Ed's presence "breathing the same air."
This is the first time that they are wearing their full identities while kissing. Covered in blood, having just dropped weapons used to kill soldiers to get to each other, only to touch and kiss each other with softness and love but also desperation.
This is also the first time they openly embrace each other. All season, things have been slightly off while they take it slow, try to figure out their status together and separate. They stand apart, but still facing/bodies turned toward each other, only a few inches away. And they never touch in the presence of others, instead only kissing in the candlelight of the captain's cabin and under the moonlight. But now they are under the bright sun in front of The Pirate Queen and countless red shirts, two who were making fun of the letter Stede wrote Ed before Ed dispatched them. And Ed even reaches over later to put his hand on Stede's shoulder in front of Zheng, offering him comfort and saying yes babe, I see you, don't worry.
They kiss on the beach!! combining the sea and the land - the lighthouse, kraken, merman, flightless birds now grounded- they are the MERMEN.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gif credits
Overall, the touches exchanged between Ed and Stede are all laced in emotion, vulnerable. And as their relationship progresses, these touches also evolve enough that by the end, kissing or touching each other's face no longer needs a pause and explicit consent because they are comfortable enough to know each other and their boundaries.
But there is something particular about the face touching between them. It shows a higher level of intimacy and romance that is at the heart of our mythical beings who have finally found each other and met in the middle, combining land and sea.
I didn't include the touches previous to the bathtub, like Ed hugging Stede after the lighthouse fuckery, or during the party, first moon scene, because I wanted to focus on the face touching primarily since it offers more depth to their relationship. I did this from memory, so I apologize if I missed any.

Crying Isn’t A Weakness [Obito Uchiha]
Tumblr media
an: based on this ask, or at least this is where the idea was born. I had planned to do this as drabble with a few characters but Obito simply stole the show. I’m considering doing a second part, maybe with Kakashi, but we’ll see…
pairing: Obito Uchiha x female reader
warnings: post war Obito, canon divergent, AU where Obito survived, angst, mentions of manipulation and negative feelings, fluff, tears but mainly happy, implied virginity loss (Obito), mentions of nightmares and a lil PTSD
Masterlist
Tumblr media
There were two moments where Obito cried in your presence.
The first was the night that you accepted him into your bed for more than just his warmth and company but as your lover. Having grown closer slowly over a year or so, you knew he was the person you wanted to be with for the rest of your life, yet it had to be approached carefully - delicately.
Obito struggled with accepting even the simplest acts of kindness or friendship, he believed himself to be a monster that would spend the rest of his days repenting for his sins and never finding atonement.
You didn’t see it quite as bluntly.
You knew his story, how could you not? Every person in Konoha and many other lands knew of what had transpired during the Third Great Shinobi War, even if some of the more shocking details were later covered with some degree of success. Where others might have judged harshly and did, you cocked your head and dared to question it. Things were never quite as straightforward as they were presented.
He had been a pawn, a mere tool for people far more vile to use at their leisure. Obito was a man that had everything taken from him, manipulated into thinking his best friend killed the girl he loved and shed all allegiance to his home as a result. A far too concise analysis of everything that had brought him to this point but where was the need in listing every dirty trick and evil machination? It wouldn’t change anything…
You took these facts, studied them carefully, questioned him when he allowed it and made your own conclusions.
Baffled by your persistence, at the innocent way you stared at him when he told you of horrors that should have curled your toes and sent you screaming into the hills, Obito found you endlessly curious.
Whilst he had been hesitant at your first offerings of friendship, the pull of your personality was too great to be denied and soon enough he was a regular visitor to your home. It started with home-cooked meals shared over a dining table and moved into takeouts devoured on a sofa, all whilst you conversed like you had known each other for years rather than only a few simple months.
Obito had stared, wide eyes shining like polished coals and slack-jawed as you touched his white arm for the first time. Your touch was so gentle that it almost felt like it wasn’t there. You said you were curious if that side of him was colder and you smiled up at him when you realised that wasn’t the case. That smile had been the beginning of the end for Obito but unaccustomed to these feelings, he simply didn’t notice.
It hadn’t stopped there, you explored the deep river of scars over his face and didn’t flinch or act disgusted. It had brought a lump to his throat but no tears flowed, those came a month later.
You shared your bed with the reclusive Uchiha on more than one occasion, in fact, it started to become a regular occurrence. Late nights talking about everything and nothing, spent playing board games and laughing when he called you a dirty cheater. It made sense to stop over, and it felt right to be pressed into his side.
To sense his breathing slow and even out, feel the warmth of his pale skin brush so gingerly over yours. The way he whispered goodnight to you in the pitch black room when he thought you to be asleep and how his voice sounded different in those moments, almost reverential.
He never reached out for more, at least not whilst awake and yet each morning the pair of you would be a tangle of limbs and twisted bedsheets.
And so, you found your courage one night. Taking his face in your small hands as he gazed at you in question, letting him watch and understand your intentions so that he could pull away if he wanted, but he would never want to do that.
That first kiss had been slow and patient, learning and tentative. You guided his hands to your waist, showed him it was alright to touch you - that you wanted more of him and he was a mess.
Obito was truly mystified by your advances, struggling to comprehend why you would choose him when there were so many far better suitors for one as pretty and special as you.
His emotions were fragile, like a baby animal learning to walk for the first time, very new and overwhelming. As things had progressed, grown heavier and hotter, he let those feelings lead him. Tried to ignore the flutter of fear in his heart that you would reject him at any moment, tell him it was all a big joke and laugh in his face.
That moment never came as this was no laughing matter. The bed you had shared so many times before seemed smaller when you tumbled onto the sheets in states of undress. This was all new to him but you never teased or mocked him, only led him through everything with endless patience and such trust that the defences around his heart withered into nothing.
You were changing him, forcing him to address the emotions that had simmered below the surface since he had started to get to know you and whilst it was painful in ways, it was a necessary pain. Something that would change the course of his future.
He wouldn’t be alone in a world that hated him, maybe even he might come to realise that there were still people that sought out his company and didn’t wish to see him endlessly persecuted.
Friends.
A future.
A lover.
That moment of true joining, when he felt so connected to you that his heart might as well dwell within your chest, was when he cried. A slow trickle of tears caught in the deep crevices of his scars and blurred his vision. He didn’t deserve you, you were too good to be chained to him for the rest of your days.
“Why me?”
His voice wavered, managing to speak through the haggard lump in his throat as you squeezed around him and adjusted to being one with him.
To Obito, you looked like an angel spread out on the sheets, so perfect and what made you more perfect was the understanding and compassion you showed him at every turn.
Eyes shining with love, you cupped his face as you had done earlier. Stroked your thumbs over his cheeks and brushed away his tears with a sincere smile.
“Because you deserve to see the kinder side of humanity and I want to be the one to do that. Now, love me like I know you do.”
He had. Long into the night, exploring the carnal delight of two people that loved and trusted one another. There had been no more tears, only smiles and laughter, for what fun is intimacy and love-making without humour?
The second time Obito cried happened six months later.
For you it was trivial but for him - it meant the world.
No longer did he fear being too close to you or holding you during bedtime, often draping you over his chest so that he could ensure you were as close to his heart as possible.
This particular night had seemed no different, unwinding before bed and going through your nightly routines. You were tired, more so than usual and fell asleep content in the arms of your lover.
All was calm, all was well… until it wasn’t.
Nightmares tore through your psyche with deadly precision. Images of the worst of your fears playing out in technicolour and you were powerless. Frozen in place, doomed to watch your loved ones suffer in the most horrendous ways and you awoke with a scream.
Cold sweat poured down your skin, ice thick in your blood and the pounding in your ears drowned out the alarmed calls from Obito who was sitting up in the bed and looking around for danger.
You did the thing that came instinctively to you at that moment. Throwing yourself with quite some force into Obito’s chest and making yourself as small as possible as he grunted from the impact but wound his arms around you hastily.
He was terrified but the more the fog of sleep dissipated from his brain, the more he understood. Nightmares were nothing new to him, for years he had been racked with them every night and only recently had he managed long stretches without waking suddenly with terror in his heart. A feat that was entirely down to you.
Obito showed you the same patience that you had always shown him, stroking your hair and humming gently. He rocked so slowly from side to side as you sobbed your heart out and clung to him like he was your anchor in his world, and it hit him.
You felt safe with him. In moments of sheer terror, you chose him to protect you, to comfort you. He knew you loved him, that fact had been made clear long ago but this was new and almost more.
It had been what felt like an eternity since he believed anyone relied upon him. Decades perhaps since those days with his team and his sensei. There you were making him feel more like his old self than he thought possible.
He could protect you and he would. Obito would cherish you, keep you safe and you could always depend on him. His stifled sobs went unnoticed as you calmed yourself, his face pressed tightly into your hair so you couldn’t witness the hot tears that stained his cheeks.
They were happy tears but you didn’t need to see them when you were vulnerable. That word struck a nerve, he had been vulnerable for so long and now… he was breaking free from that feeling.
Obito told you later the next day, making sure you knew how much he appreciated your faith and trust. He admitted to crying because you knew there was more to his words and it was the sweetest admission.
“Crying isn’t a weakness, it simply demonstrates that you are human. That you are a good man with a heart that is healing after so much pain.”

Right now there are a lot of ex tkk out there who left after Paris. Some of who wrote little to late apologies to Jimin for believing he was the devil/villain, when now they realize that title belongs to the big TK accounts who hand fed them lies. The ones who helped brain wash them & half this fandom & harass everyone. They swallowed that pill & accepted their ship is not real and Paris actually happened. Now they're just sitting around alone cause the people they thought were their friends turned their back on them for seeing the light. These people could do the funniest thing right now, the right thing. Those TK GC's and twitter spaces they were a part of and saved. Full of Tkk & big Tk accounts slandering Jimin & plans to sabotage him and vile lies they made up to spread and openly hated on Jk cause they were mad at him, spearheaded by those active TK accounts. They could email them to bighit. DM the screenshots they held onto, to Jimin and Jikook report accounts. Get these big TK and anti accounts taken down. They were on the inside and know first hand things said in private in those space. How manipulated they were and seeing how its continuing.
Their own leader, told them models called Tae Monsieur Gayhyung in Paris, only for the models to say it was disgusting lies. Instead of admitting he lied on purpose cause he didn't think these people would release statements, he let you all take the blame and look like deranged fools for spreading it and deactivated and came back a few weeks later like nothing happened and you let him. The person creates lies every day and You help spread them. Then the person deactivates cause they can't take the heat and you take the fall and he gains new braindead followers when they come back.
I know It'll never happen tho cause they aren't brave. I on the other hand would be a raging bitch, the whistleblower and expose the fuck out of every damn one of them MF's who helped gaslit me.
I HAVE THREE LARGE BREASTS AND A TAIL.
I'm alway prepared to recieve new Jikook believers into my large bossom and feed them with content 😌
They can start with @nightswithkookmin
And if they want to interact they'll find me here.
I'm open to receiving their confessions about Jikook in my ask box. Shit if it's good I'll even share it so everyone can read it.
If it's triggering and full of doubt I'll send them straight to purgatory.
Tuktukkers are indeed very much manipulated and gaslit into believing things they shouldn't believe if they had a little bit of brain cells in their skulls.
Like it's that simple, you don't even need analysis you just need to use your head, if you believe no two relationships are equal then you'd rightfully assume there must be something unique and special about every ship. Start by individualizing every ship. Start there and if you don't that's how the madness begin.
And if you believe TKk and JKK are two Unique ships- what sets them apart? You don't find this out if you succumb to the prevalent cognitive roadblocks prevalent in TKK land. To find that out what makes them each truly Unique, desist from minimizing, trivializing, overlooking, going against your instincts and going against common sense. One plus one is two. If it she's a duck it's a duck. You don't need to bend and twist and squeeze your brain out.
The common truth and fact of the matter is, however "close" TKK were in the past, however they try to be close now, Jikook are closer. That ship has sailed. However jikook try to normalize that closeness, neutralize it, do damage control- it really doesn't change the fact that out of all BTS pairs they have the most chemistry, are and do come across as the most intimate because you simply can't hide intimacy if it's there between two people.
It shows in everything they do and say.
It's like whatever Vmin have. You can't minimize it. You can't sweep it under the rag. No matter how long they go without producing Content- when they do that content will always light up warmth in our hearts.
You can't take vmin soul mates away from them no matter how much analysis you make, no matter how much you think they hate eachother underneath. They would still be Vmin.
Jikook is jikook no matter what anyone says.
And ooh for TKK, once you clock what their dynamic really is- you may not think of them as Jikook but you'd definitely appreciate them same.
I know a thing or two bout whistle-blower laws and I'm very good in street fights- if you do decide to be a raging bitch, I got your back🤭

We’ve heard them all before. From Greenwashing and artwashing to veganwashing and funwashing — in the minds of Israel’s most ardent critics, there is nothing the Jewish state won’t do to distract the world’s attention from the Palestinians.
The most frequent bit of “washing” that Israel is accused of relates to its progressive stance on LGBT+ issues in a region where sexual minorities face widespread persecution — an imagined diversionary tactic that anti-Israel campaigners have dubbed “pinkwashing.”
As noted previously, the pinkwashing claim evokes historical antisemitic libels, specifically that anything Jews do that is good or beneficial must be a part of some nefarious ulterior motive.
However, the pinkwashing charge is now being used as more than just a cudgel to attack Israel. Today, the accusation simultaneously serves as a shield to deflect criticism from the widespread homophobia that is prevalent in Palestinian and Arab society.
The latest example of this was in an article in left-wing Canadian outlet Rabble, which published a so-called “analysis” that authoritatively announced: “Israeli pinkwashing: ‘It’s a facade’.”
In the piece, Rabble writer Yara Jamal and the founder of “Free Palestine Halifax,” Katerina Nikas, argue that pinkwashing “paints Palestinians as backward, racist and barbaric in order to justify the oppression and unequal treatment of Palestinians both straight and queer.”
Aside from the segue into a series of unconnected statements intended to demonstrate Israel’s profiting off pinkwashing, such as how the Jerusalem pride parade is supposedly held on land from which Palestinians were displaced, the writers struggle to prove their central hypothesis that gay rights in Israel are a “facade.”
The article continues:
Israel promotes its capital, Tel Aviv, as a gay friendly destination in the Middle East, while at the same time failing to mention that the city is built on top of several villages where Palestinians were expelled from their homes and are banned from entering the capital. Palestinians queers are also denied asylum in Israel while trying to escape discrimination in their own communities. In October 2022, a 25-year-old Palestinian gay man, Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh, was killed in the West Bank after unsuccessfully seeking asylum in Israel two years prior to his murder.”
First, Tel Aviv is not the capital of Israel — Jerusalem is and always has been.
Second, the assertion that Tel Aviv was built atop several Palestinian villages (and how this even relates to pinkwashing) is risible. The city was originally founded on April 11, 1909, and was known as Ahuzat Bayit before its name was changed (a picture of the 60 families standing in the desert land that became the neighborhood can be seen here).
Third, it is manifestly untrue that Palestinians are denied asylum in Israel. Last year, the government announced plans to issue temporary work permits to LGBT+ Palestinians who were claiming asylum.
Fourth, the suggestion that Israel is somehow responsible for the death of Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh is a disturbing distortion of what occurred. Murkhiyeh had been living as an asylum seeker in Israel for two years before — for unknown reasons — he traveled to Hebron where he was attacked and beheaded by a Palestinian.
Finally — and most importantly — why do Jamal and Nikas and indeed so many Western journalists have such trouble facing up to the simple truth that homophobic attitudes run rampant in Palestinian society and that this is not Israel’s fault?

Hey, I know you do some movie analysis and one of the movies I recently watched is “The Good Son” which is on the inspo board. Spoilers, but the plot is literally about a “child psychopath” named Henry who murdered his infant brother in the backstory and in the story proper tries to murder his sister and especially hates his mother for catching on to his troubling behavior and for trying to have him institutionalized (so he tries to kill her in the climax but he dies himself after his mother concludes that he was born evil and the movie lands on that message). I am curious as to what yours and aemiron’s take on this is movie is because of how clearly this is inspiration for Vecna’s backstory and just how contradictory it’s messaging is to what you guys interpret/theorize about it. I’m on anon because I don’t want to get ostracized for even suggesting that Vecna was born evil (I disagree with that message but I’m being neutral on whether the duffers agree with me), and this is why I decided to just ask the experts.
Personally, I haven’t seen The Good Son, so I can’t speak in depth about that movie’s specifics.
However I think it’s important to remember that inspiration ≠ direct copy. We should also keep in mind that there are a multitude of contradictory plot points in Henry’s backstory.
For one: He physically could not have killed Alice (I’ve made this point several times across the past months). Alice was still clearly alive before Victor went into his trance. As we know from later in the season, given that it was a critical and heavily focused on part of Nancy’s plan: Vecna can’t do anything else while he’s trancing someone. Thus, Henry could not have killed Alice, since she was still alive when Victor enters his trance.
Point blank. He could not have killed Alice.
Second: He never says he despised his mother. He says his mother despised him. Very different things.
Third: There are a multitude of signs that Virginia was less than stellar as a mother (including but not limited to whatever the hell her bathtub vision was referring to [shudders] egh), but relatively few signs that Henry was anything but weird. Virginia was planning to ship Henry off to MARTIN BRENNER at a DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY MKULTRA LABORATORY. I mean, my god. Henry was twelve. Victor describes Henry as sensitive, the same way Joyce describes Will as sensitive.
Fourth: As I’ve detailed here:
Henry doesn’t meet any of the markers for conduct disorder (child psychopathy doesn’t exist, anon).
It’s also important to remember that the Duffers love a good twist…which is what I absolutely believe they’re setting us up for.
The Good Son feels more like an inspiration for this cover story to disguise the twist, if you ask me.
We’ve only been shown the briefest, most disjointed glimpse into Henry’s childhood. On the surface, before you actually study the scenes, it may seem like “oh he’s a psycho killer monster, that’s easy and simple”…But that’s NOT what Stranger Things has ever been about. It wasn’t like that for Billy, or El (who, for her age, has a FAR higher kill count than Henry at the same age), or any of them. Everyone is a product of their circumstances, and there are no innate monsters. Just people.
I mean this with all the kindness in the world: You have to actually watch what’s happening in the scenes, Anon. There’s a ton of shit that doesn’t add up.
You have to pull back the curtain, Anon. This is the “common interpretations aren’t the right ones” show. They literally tell you to look “too deep” in S1-3. Henry’s story is no different. Henry is not exempt.

National Weather Observers Day
National Weather Observers Day is on May 4. With their observations and weather reports, many people assist the National Weather Service to achieve its purpose of preserving life and property. SKYWARN, Cooperative (Co-Op) Observers, CoCoRaHS (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network), and the general public are all part of this network.
History of National Weather Observers Day
Alan Brue, who studied psychology at the State University of New York, invented the day on May 4, 1989. This day was developed for weather amateurs and professionals to honor their passion for the weather. Every year on May 4, this day is commemorated for those who enjoy viewing different weather phenomena.
With their sightings and weather reports, many individuals and groups assist the National Weather Service in fulfilling its objective of protecting people and property.
As a volunteer, you can be a part of the CoCoRaHS Observers Team, which is available to anyone ready to work on measuring and mapping precipitation. In this program, you will receive all of the necessary equipment and training on how to measure and map precipitation and how to prepare reports.
It’s simple to set up; get a rain gauge, hang it outside during the rainy season, check the rain in the gauge, and report your findings on the National Weather Service’s website.
The major goal of this day is to emphasize the importance of professionals who work in weather services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to warn people about approaching storms and other weather changes. A thousand weather observations are made every day by weather spotters and weather stations all around the world.
These observations give crucial information that warns the public about impending storms from all three locations; land, sea, and air. They also aid in a better understanding of weather events and the analysis of historical data.

What do weather observers do?
A weather observer collects, records, and maps weather conditions, both good and bad. Observers need to be willing to gather weather information in the rain, blinding heat, and other extreme conditions.
What equipment do weather observers use?
Observational data is collected using buoys, radiosondes, doppler radar, and weather satellites, among others. The data is fed into the N.W.S. forecast models that use present and past weather information to develop forecast guidance for meteorologists.
How is weather data used?
Climate and weather data are utilized in different ways. Decision-makers in towns and cities use this information to plan for extreme weather conditions, water management, and even energy needs.

Dragonblade Deep Dive - Chapter Six
Chapter Five
The views expressed in this synopsis/analysis/review/whatever it is are entirely my own, and as a long-standing Gunther fan who sometimes struggles with change they are neither perfect nor unbiased. I will do my best however to be fair. My resolve is weakening.
Chapter Six: The Rust Mountains
Jane is annoyed that Dragon ate the turnips before he was given permission. It’s hard to know if these interactions between them highlighting that Jane doesn’t really have any control over Dragon’s behaviour are purely intended as comedic, or if they are hinting at a darker issue on the horizon. Dragon previously wanting to bring Haroldus to his cave and question him makes me wonder if it’s the latter.
Jane shows Dragon the map Haroldus gave her, and they set off in search of the dragon rune cavern. Jane takes the time to reflect on how special it is that she is flying on the back of a dragon, as it is such an everyday occurrence for her. She asks Dragon if he’s happy, before propositioning him with the idea of moving the three sisters’ problem bats into his cave. Dragon says it will depend on Squeaky, his resident bat. Jane knows she can only ask Dragon to do something and hope that he will agree. She considers how their relationship has changed from the simple agreement to help each other it began as and is now complicated and co-dependent.
Back at the castle, Jester is daydreaming about swimming in the fountain as he tutors Lavinia. They are sitting under a topiary, originally planted by Rake’s grandfather and now maintained by Rake. There’s a line about Rake’s father abandoning him casually dropped in here, too.
Lavinia is learning about hippopotamus, which she finds boring (really?) She wants to play maidens and monsters, until Theodore appears, at which point she promises to defend Jester from “the Grey Knight”. This kid is exhausting.
Theodore is looking for Jane, and Jester tells him she left early that morning, before sunrise. Theodore is relieved to hear that she was carrying her dragonblade, as he “believes she will need it”. Excuse me, what now? Do you believe that your old friend has sent your young charge into a trap?
Jane and Dragon arrive at the Rust mountains. They are snow capped despite it being a hot, hot summer, so we’re obviously quite a long way up. It’s a wonder Jane isn’t freezing flying through snow cold air.
The map directs them to Broken Teeth Peak, which Dragon thinks looks more like a crouching dragon.
Jane sets off on foot to investigate the lay of the land, and immediately seems to know something that we the reader are kept totally in the dark about. She decides she must “get Dragon to safety and play the charade out to ‘the end’ without him” which makes absolutely ZERO sense but here we are.
They are overlooking a ravine which is too narrow for Dragon to fly into. Jane proposes climbing down his tail and then sliding the rest of the way. Dragon isn’t keen but Jane uses the idea of the runes in the cave to bait him into it. The mouth of a cave has just become visible in the early morning light.
The tip of Dragon’s tail is evidently so ticklish that Jane’s hair brushing against it once led to her being sent flying from the battlements and knocked unconscious on the ground below.
Jane jumps and slides down into the ravine, remembering a time when she went sledding in the snow with Lavinia and Jester. Dragon asks how she will get back up and Jane tells him he’ll have to fly back to the last village they saw and borrow some rope. Dragon interprets this to mean rope and turnips, which Jane doesn’t fight him too hard on, she just wants him gone.
Theodore is brooding in his office, gazing out his window as he reflects that Jane is being tested now as never before (again, what now?) Why didn’t he say anything to her before letting her run off into danger? What was his plan if she hadn’t taken the dragonblade?
News of Dragon is what brought Theodore to the castle originally, and it brought Haroldus too. “Their reasons might be different…” so if Theodore was altruistic, is Haroldus not? Theodore believes that many others will be drawn towards the kingdom, in search of Dragon.
Theodore has been fighting the urge to drag Haroldus into the dungeons and torture a confession from him. This is all getting very confusing. Why do the characters all suddenly seem to know so much while we are told nothing?
Gunther arrives. He is hesitant in his approach, a fault Theodore decides will get him killed one day. A fault Theodore could have helped to train out of him but that was too much effort, I guess?
Gunther tells Theodore that Jane and Dragon have both vanished. Theodore asks what his point is, confusing the young knight. Gunther has completed his patrol through the village, and has seen that Ivon’s horse is back, along with “the other guards” (who???). Everyone is awaiting Theodore’s inspection, which is overdue. Gunther ‘observes’ that Theodore seems worried. He says he means no disrespect. Theodore responds by comparing him to his father. It’s an infuriating scene, to be honest. Throughout this novel there are very few dialogue tags, nothing to suggest tone, so in most cases we have to take what the characters are saying at face value. Gunther is not being rude or disrespectful, he is being an observant knight and concerned partner to Jane. But just as it is with Jane, Theodore seems determined to find fault and denigrate him for absolutely no reason.
Theodore tells Gunther to attend to his duties, “as Jane is attending to hers”. She sodding well is not!
In fact, Jane is bumming around outside of a cave in the middle of a mountain range. She is scoping out the ravine to make sure she is alone. There is no one out there, so she concludes that someone must be waiting for her inside the cave instead. Entering the cave will cost her the advantage she has  on the outside. She decides it can’t be Haroldus as the cave is a day’s ride from the castle.
After trying to figure out the unknown person’s unknown plan, Jane decides to just start yelling at the problem. Someone pokes their head out of the cave and Jane recognises them.
End chapter.
Overall impressions:
Geeze. What a whole lot of not much that was. We’re certainly being kept in the dark in a way that does nothing to elevate the plot. It’s clear that we’re heading into the “serious” section of the novel now, because the characters’ attitudes and thoughts have changed so instantly and confusingly. Suddenly Theodore has had suspicions about Haroldus all along and yet he invited him into the castle, gave him free access to Dragon and Jane, and allowed him to give Jane that map and for her to leave without giving her a single word of caution? And that’s supposed to make sense to us?? Likewise, Jane somehow knows that she was walking into a trap the whole time, and so she sent Dragon away and just walked on into it?
That scene with Theodore and Gunther. *seethes* What was the point of that? To show how bitter and uncharitable Theodore is? The ongoing issue with this novel’s approach to Gunther, or the other characters’ attitudes towards him, is that Gunther hasn’t done a damn thing to deserve the way he’s being treated. He hasn’t said or done ANYTHING that could justify the absolute venom being flung at him.
And as to his “hesitant” step, gee, I wonder where he picked that up? Could it have been while living with his volatile and physically intimidating (at best) father? The unhealthy relationship between Magnus and Gunther was no secret to Theodore, who could have intervened or at least taken the time to train Gunther in ways that could help and give him back the gift of self-confidence. Theodore has been an authority/educational figure in Gunther’s life since he was a young child, and he has known that his homelife was beyond miserable and his father’s influence was extremely negative. If now, at the ancient age of 16, Gunther doesn’t have the confidence to stride into a room without first ensuring it is safe to do so, that is indeed a huge failure. But not of Gunther’s.
Time passed since the start of the novel: Day two, morning continued

Crowley and the song “Tightrope” From “The Greatest Showman”: An Analysis
I’m a musical nerd and a Good Omens nerd, and I’m upset and distraught, so here are some of my thoughts on Crowley with one of my fave songs from that movie!
youtube
I put the scene from the movie just cause I like picturing Crowley in the part where her shadow is dancing with her husbands shadow
ANYWAY my sad gay people lets get into it
The beginning lyrics:
Some people long for a life, that is simple and planned, tied with a ribbon
He watched Newt (simple) and Anathema (planned) fall in love
Some people won’t sail the sea, cause they’re safer on land, to follow what’s written
Maggie and Nina, Nina being afraid to start a new relationship because she was so used to her old toxic one, Maggie being nervous to talk to her
Then of course:
But I’d follow you to the great unknown, off to a world we’d call our own
It has been shown time and time again in the show that where Aziraphale goes, Crowley follows (France, the church w the Nazis, etc)
Crowley also very frequently talks about running off with Aziraphale, being together just the two of them, their own side, or, their own world
Hand in my hand and you promised, to never let go, we’re walking a tightrope, high in the sky we can see the whole world down below
Aziraphale, in a way, did promise something to Crowley, in the Arrangement
Because they could never outright say it, the Arrangement was the next best thing, a way to promise company, promise help, promise care, under the guise of thwarting each other
However, it was a very tedious line, a very very risky arrangement (MUCH LIKE A TIGHTROPE DO YOU SEE WHAT IM GETTING AT HERE)
Never sure, never know how far we could fall
This is unprecedented territory, they are the first angel and demon, as far as we know, to have done what they do, to have any sort of companionship, or God forbid, love (before Gabriel and Beelzebub). They wouldn’t have known what the consequences could be, how severe their respective sides would punish them
But it’s all an adventure that comes with a breath-taking view, walking a tightrope, with you
But Crowley, for lack of a better term, is a simp, he’s willing to risk it because he loves Aziraphale so much
Mountains and valleys and all that will come in between, desert and ocean
You pull me in and together we’re lost in a dream, always in motion
This I just feel like is a good representation of how Crowley probably felt when being with Aziraphale, it was a constant dance between the two of them, but they kept holding onto each other throughout the whole thing
So I’d risk it all, just to be with you, and I’d risk it all, for this life we choose
This is the main crux of his character. While Aziraphale was always still nervous about the repercussions, the punishments for whatever he had with Crowley, Crowley was ready to risk it for them, for Aziraphale. He didn’t want Aziraphale in trouble, so he was willing to reign it for Aziraphale, but for himself? He didn’t care
Then the chorus plays again, but there’s a different line at the end:
Never sure, will you catch me if I should fall
Despite the trust he has in Aziraphale and what they have, especially after seaosn 2, Crowley is probably always or was for a while, nervous that Aziraphale was going to switch up on him one day, go back to Heaven and abandon him, leave him struggling for balance on his own
When it came down to it, there was probably always a doubt or insecurity that Aziraphale was going to pick Heaven over him
But then he goes back to:
But it’s all adventure that comes with a breathtaking view, walking a tightrope, with you
BECAUSE RVEN THOUGH AZIRAPHALE LEFT HIM FOR HEAVEN, AND HOW UPSET CROWLEY MUST BE, WE KNOW DEEP DOWN CROWLEY WOULDNT HAVE TRADED HIS YEARS WITH HIM FOR ANYTHING
Crowley knows part of his personal risk in the Arrangement is that Aziraphale might not love him like that, but he doesn’t care just so he can be around him and watch him
ANYWAY thank you for reading this if you did I just have a lot of thoughts

I got bored and decided to reread my fic in a new way, so here’s the official The Simple Truth—
Kokichi Lie Count (by chapter)
7
5
5
2
2
9 (nice)
4
2
9
4
0
3
2
1
11
4
0
That’s an average of about 4 lies per chapter. I didn’t include times when he intentionally prods at people to get a reaction unless it involved a direct lie, but I did include a few lies by omission.
Analysis below 👇
The two 0 lie chapters are pretty interesting to me because tbh that’s pretty out of character for him. In chapter 11 Kokichi doesn’t have a big role (although that doesn’t stop him in other similar chapters) and spends most of his time sniping back and forth with Maki. Genuine dislike trumps chronic lying habit I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But in chapter 17 he has a ton of screen time, they’re having a sleepover with Kaito and Maki and they’re all sitting around chatting while they do slumber party stuff (#girlsnight), but Kokichi just isn’t lying. Not even casual funny lies to match the lighthearted vibes of the scene. He’s still being himself (nuisance) but he doesn’t quite feel the need to be dishonest about anything. It’s interesting and as the author I kinda want to poke and prod at this chapter more to figure out what’s up with him here
As for chapter 15 with a whopping 11 lies in a single conversation, this one makes a lot of sense. He thinks he’s going to enjoy a little light vandalism, theft, and mischief in Tsumugi’s office, only to be confronted by a Tsumugi who is not acting anymore and is happily ready to verbally rip him to shreds using like five deeply ingrained insecurities he barely knows he has. He is not ready lmfao and he lies and deflects as much as he can to cover for the fact that she’s hitting hard and he can’t land a scratch on her. RIP 💀
This was a cool lens to analyze this fic with! In terms of finding a pattern in Kokichi’s lying, I’d say it’s not right to just conclude “oh he lies under pressure” or “oh he lies because it’s fun.” Those are both true. He lies to distract people, to mislead people, to entertain himself, to protect himself, to disguise the truth, to highlight the truth, to make light of situations, the list goes on and on. He often makes it pretty clear when he’s lying, too, but that’s just another defense mechanism to keep you from looking too closely at the lies he doesn’t telegraph (or worse, the truths he wants you to dismiss as lies)
What I think would be an interesting pairing to this reading would be to count Shuichi’s lies instead. He doesn’t do it as much, and usually out of politeness, but the ones I noticed had me like 👀 Especially his lies by omission, hoo boy that boy(?) can deflect like a champ. He still hasn’t told anyone the full story of why he left or what he said to Kaede.
If you read this, thank you for walking with me on this little analysis! I’m super invested in this fic and love analyzing different aspects of it to use when writing/planning new chapters 😃

The enchanted sequel Disenchanted was pretty good but I have Thoughts, and it ended up also being an analysis of the Hocus Pocus movies. Major spoilers ahoy!
These movies make me feel like movie makers are starting to wake up to how to make better sequels. Both stand as good stories on their own, that use the scenario and themes of the previous movie as the jumping off point, not just jerking around its corpse. Both are in dialogue with the previous movie’s themes without regurgitating nor trampling on them.
Hocus Pocus 2 continues the idea of classic witches in a modern setting, and shows the triumph of cooperation over simple, fantastical ideas of power. They’re not going for grand metaphors - it’s a children’s movie.
The teenagers triumph with familiarity of their surroundings, pottery kilns and garage setups, but it’s temporary, and undone with the quirks of those same modern tools. The witches stop burning in the timed kiln and Roombas clean the salt circle. Engaging on the witches’ terms goes badly.
The witches, as cool and confident as they seem, are completely alien in their motivations and divorced from reckoning with the real world. They look right at the camera to tell you that they eat children and delight in people dying as they wonder at TVs and try to eat skin cream.
And I do want to draw attention to “alien”. The bit right at the beginning of Hocus Pocus 2 when the kids ask “who are they even performing for?” and the witch appears behind them and says “You!” is eldritch horror.
They’re so cool and confident *and bumbling* because they’ve completely lost their grasp on reality. The sequel tells you immediately that they’re so self-absorbed that they only bother not teleporting everywhere to please a nonexistent audience.
Anyway again, the lesson of the Hocus Pocus movies is that lust for power is bad: in the first, Max tries to engage with the witches’ view of things and accepts that someone will be sacrificed for the desires of the powerful, and almost dies.
But because he isn’t selfish and chooses himself, everything gets delayed enough that it’s the witches’ downfall.
In the second, the book is cool with so much bad shit, but as soon as Winifred finds a single limit, she pursues it, without heeding the price she’ll pay. She pays it anyway, of course.
She gets lucky that she gets a happy ending, only because she’s willing to go down to her sisters’ new level, and because someone is compassionate enough to help her using the same power that she used to live forever. The compassionate helper has the book now.
Enchanted is also a very in-your-face lesson: We need to seek out joy where it actually is, not where it’s supposed to be. Everyone, perhaps, needs a dose of both reality and magic to guide us.
Giselle gets a small dose of reality. She talks over Robert’s concerns, and it works! She tries to impose her view on this world of everything always going to plan with her prince, and it goes less well.
The prince never even tries to engage with NYC and pratfalls everywhere. (Much like the witches.)
But the much bigger story is Robert’s and Nancy’s. Both feel unfulfilled and desiring a goal over reality. In sweeps Giselle.
She believes in everything being good if you just accept it as part of the grand plan. She finds beauty in rats and cockroaches, buskers, costumed dancers, shy geriatric lovers, and children’s plays. Robert starts to get a spark of joy back in his life.
However, he’s focused on his goal of proposing to Nancy, which is what he’s supposed to do, and Giselle and the prince are focused on finding each other, which is what they’re supposed to do.
For everyone, the magic of true love’s kiss is in something they wanted, not something they were told.
The evil queen isn’t the real antagonist, apathy is. Robert and Giselle don’t find magic because the queen lost, she loses because they both found magic in NYC. The evil queen is defeated for contrived reasons. She’s from fairytale land too, and in a good world she loses.
The sequel continues this theme, and still has the children’s movie simplicity of the original 2000’s movie. It tries to examine the same lesson from the other side: Now it’s Giselle’s turn to get a stronger lesson on the virtues of dropping a fairy tale view.
She tries to fix everything by moving to suburbia and it doesn’t work, she tries to fix everything by forcing magic into the world and it doesn’t work.
The lesson is again that Morgan and Giselle need to find joy in their relationship with each other. Maybe Morgan want independence and Giselle wants a fairytale ending.
The true happy ending happens when Morgan sees Giselle as her mother because of the memories they’ve shared, not because she’s compelled to love her mother.
Under fairy tale rules, Morgan and Giselle have to be hostile just because she’s her stepmother. In her role, Giselle can now only find joy in places that are toxic for her.
They both have to find love in the real relationship they have instead, and the magic of Andalasia accepts that, because under fairy tale rules, true mothers and daughters do love each other.
It’s a really cool story that asserts that found family and nontraditional families can be magical and loving, and that even fairy tale magic can accept stepmothers. It expands the way that Giselle finds magic where there shouldn’t be.
I think it could have gone further.
I think, instead of Morgan being Giselle’s “true daughter” and being able to harness the magic of Andalasia, they could have asserted that reality has its own magic.
In the real world, stepmothers don’t have to be hostile! You don’t have to be someone’s “real mom” to be the best thing for them! There’s no script, just what you have and what you make of it.
And when it does work out, it’s much more satisfying than everything magically working out because it’s supposed to.
I think Disenchanted should have had the virtues of reality be found by the magic believers of Giselle and Morgan.
Giselle becoming an evil stepmother isn’t the antagonist, even the ambitious Ms. Monroe becoming an evil queen isn’t the antagonist, sticking too hard to Andalasia’s stories is the antagonist. We want this world, where Morgan and Giselle can put in the work to love each other, despite what the story says.
Now, finally, all three members of the family have found joy by looking around them instead of listening to their presuppositions.

the fact that joe worked with taylor on folklore and evermore and the idea that he possibly helped taylor accept her queerness makes me very emotional
Yeah, I forgot that while I was writing my post but you're totally right. He did help her on 3 albums now, it's very sweet and emotional.
Like, she looks so happy even im the pap photos with Joe. Like, I think it was definitely a planned pap walk to leave an easter egg for the interview that aired a little later on. Like, the fact that he helped her stage an easter egg publically, that makes me so fucking emotional.
He's so supportive of her career in every way, I love that he is realistic about love too. Unfortunately, when you get in a relationship you're still left with the knowledge that you once thought all your exes were the love of your life and the trauma that comes along with that is often given space in a healthy relationship to be processed without judgment or anxiety that it's going to end you if you're honest about your emotions in that moment.
It's so beautiful, sweet nothing is a song about your partner not wanting anything from you, just your presence. That's the unspoken moral of the poem, they're both in the kitchen cooking dinner probably and just existing together at the same time, on the same page, in perfect harmony in a universe that is unknowing, unfeeling and deadly in 99% of it and they don't need to do anything but just be together to be happy.
It's so beautiful, she is so happy and in love with him and I am so happy for them and I hope everyone finds that same moment some day, even platonically it doesn't have to be romantic. Every one should experience that feeling of this person doesn't need anything but my presence so I'm going to be the best version of myself for them. It's really giving if you shine, I'll shine for you ✨️ 💛
I was going to end it there but even just like she used to dream about being famous and finding prince charming (maybe prince charming was John meyer... superstar, superman fit- the change from star to man is really depressing actually) and then she got to wonderland and realized it's fucking nothing like it seemed in the movies.
Like, she used to sing about music being her kingdom (long live) and then in reputation, she really changed its meaning completely to be romantic love and that double meaning is only further highlighted in hoax. The lyrics themselves are very telling, because canonically look what you made me do comes before king of my heart.
In speak now, in particular, there is a certain unreleased song with lyrics going around that if true, would strengthen my lyrical analysis of this change because this song would be the bridge between her kingdom changing from fame into love and fame changing from kingdom to the woods. Taylor is a very visual person, so in my mind- a movie about her life looks like a girl who sees herself as a princess stranded in normal people land but her prince charming-meyer- is going to save her from boredom (which i think she means loneliness with this metaphor) and take her to her kingdom, fame for her music and her songwriting in particular.
But once she met prince charming, she realized he was the devil in the disguise and now she's stuck in the woods, with no way out. It's why folkmore takes place/is centered around leaving the woods.
Her kingdom is now very simple. It's her house with her lover and idk it's just all so beautiful.

It is a refined form of brewing that uses microorganisms to make ingredients we currently get from animals or plants. While our ancient ancestors made bread, cheese, and beer by using the microorganisms that were randomly present in their environment, today’s precision fermentation can genetically reprogramme microorganisms to make exact nutrients. Here’s how to do it:
Choose a specific microorganism such as a yeast or bacteria.
Genetically engineer the microorganism with the DNA sequences coding for the amino acids which form the protein you want to create – such as the proteins found in cow’s milk: casein and whey.
Put the microorganisms in a fermentation tank with some simple nutrients and sugars.
Ferment! (Just like beer.)
Harvest food-grade ingredients that are biologically identical to those you’d get from an animal and mix them up into sellable familiar products (like dairy milk, cream or cheese…).
According to a new analysis in the Reboot Food report, protein from microorganisms uses up to 40,900 times less land than beef, meaning that such ‘farm-free foods’ could produce the entire world’s protein requirements on just 420km2 of land – an area of land smaller than Greater London*
This would not only save 3/4s of global agricultural land for nature restoration and carbon drawdown but would also release up to 91% less greenhouse gases per calorie produced.
Precision fermentation is already used to produce 99% of the global insulin supply and 90% of the global rennet. Today PF milk proteins and PF egg whites have already reached the US grocery market.
Emma Smart, Coordinator of Replanet UK says “The precision fermentation revolution is as significant and consequential for our natural world and climate as the dawn of farming was 10,000 years ago. Only this time, today’s food revolution promises a new age for non-human life of regeneration not devastation.”
Solarpunk perspective:
This is huge. If we can end industrial animal agriculture in the next 5 years, we can avoid the worst climate emergency threats. We'll still have to weather mega storms for a few decades and open our hearts to a few million refugees. But we'll get through it together and we won't do it on an empty stomach.
Doomer perspective:
This is a disruptive technological application that promotes global equality. The global superpowers need animal agriculture so they can maintain their exploitation hierarchy. They want to speed-run the apocalypse. They want to be on top of the world when the world ends. And they want to see it end in their lifetime. "I was the best at this game all the way up to the end!"
So they'll do everything they can to suppress disruptive technological applications. That's why they will always choose oil over solar and animal agriculture over precision fermentation.
It won't just be a few decades of storms. We'll hit the tipping point cascade. Our entire global biodiversity system will unravel. 90% of species will go extinct. And humanity will die slowly and painfully of novel zoonotic diseases that spread globally through feral cattle. Our refusal to replace domesticated cows with domesticated microbes will ultimately lead to a feral zombie cow apocalypse plague.
Regional activism perspective:
Global superpowers are meaningless fools. As common people, we can remake society to suit our changing needs. Find out the total volume of animal protein your town consumes. Draft a municipal precision fermentation infrastructure plan. Spread flyers and leaflets everywhere. Start a RePlanet/Precision Fermentation advocacy group in your city.
The best place to meet people who would be extremely passionate about this technology is geek cafes and boardgame shops. Or better yet, a Star Trek convention. Precision fermentation is a Star Trek technology. It's called a "food replicator" in Star Trek. Rebranding from "precision fermentation" to "food replication" may help people be more open minded.

Now, Let’s discuss the Main Part to get real Compounded Results,
The key factors you need to Focus On…
Testing
Copy
The first thing you need to focus on is testing your copy, Copies are really powerful even these days, and they always will be. And the simple reason is
“if they are reading, then they are taking an interest”
But, only if you know how to use it. And the simple mindset is: Don’t try to become the world's best copywriter or to find one.
Simply Observe what you’re target audience is saying in their queries and use those words, and Keep tweaking until you get a tolerable engagement.
Images
I’ll make this one very easy for you,
Just find make different stories your target audience can relate to and keep creatives around that. Find one that just grabs your Audience from its core. And just stick with that for each campaign.
Headlines
I am a strong believer that people STOP, for your Creative, BUT “people JOIN– for your Headline.
Tweaks your Headlines, Until you get a SIMPLE, STRAIGHT and the most TRUSTFUL Headline.
Landing Page
For the Landing Page, the Headline part just remembers the above words. For the rest,
Focus on just the relevancy of the content with your Goal and your AD Copy. Everything else will take care of itself.
Metrics
Now, This is an important part,
The most important metric I want you to focus on to see the change in your results is “Link CTR” not CTR but Link CTR, I myself learned this from a Blog, that CTR shows your overall improvement, but not the exact one.
But Link CTR gives you the right data of people from your ad to your Landing Page and based on that you can perform your future tweaking plans.
Hope the Article Proves helpful to you, All the very Best Guys. It’s the world of Digital Marketing and we’re the ones, who are making it. 👍

How is CADD helpful in civil engineering?
CAD is computer-aided design software. It allows users to create and edit digital 2D and 3D designs faster and more readily than you could by hand. The data can also be saved and kept in the cloud, making them accessible from anywhere at any time. CAD is a software application that is used to create drafting solutions. It may be used to develop blueprints for bridges, buildings, and computer chips, among other things. For drafting, it provides 2D and 3D application features. CAD is commercial software that was initially designed as a desktop application.
Tumblr media
Here are some of the ways in which CAD software can be used:-
Drafting tool
CAD allows you to create precise 2D drawings and then you can either convert these 2D designs into 3D designs or keep it as it is. It can ben used for civil engineering projects to comprehend and solve various challenges related to designing buildings quickly and in a feasible manner.
Architectural tool
CAD has an amazing user interface that allows one to create pre-built designs by offering many templates and layoutsit also provides an analytical tool , especially if you’re designing buildings. It helps architects and civil engineers in their projects by helping them design every building level through design, drawing, planning, execution and analysis
3D printing
In order to 3D print your project, you need to first choose an object and create a virtual model of it using a 2D model or 3D model and then CAD helps creating the 3D model in your provided file that are compatible with various formats in your Civil Engineering project.
Amazing accuracy and productivity
The amount of time one can save using CAD is unbeatable. It not just saves time but also increases the production. It is possible to create infinite variations of the final product by modifying the same design n no. of ways. It is capable of increasing an employee’s productivity by almost 3x. The accuracy of the CAD designs is also simply amazing and cannot be matched by manual sketching. It is made with nearly no errors and has a significant advantage over traditional drafting and designing. This gives an ultimate end result to the user and is also capable of generating complex surfaces very quickly which can give a very precise outcome.
Saves all your time!
Drawing and designing with CAD can give you way quicker results than drawing with hand and so you would never have to worry about missing another deadline. The software is convenient to use and operations like copy, stretching, scaling, rotating, mirroring etc are also available which make your work all the more convenient. It can also be used to create reusable block library in civil engineering and can also be used by architects to save their precious time. Simple shapes can be created within seconds and the biggest win is with the complicated structures and aspects of a design, which are quickly and accurately created.
Planning and managing projects
Civil engineers and architects traditionally carried a lot of sheets in and out of colleges and work, but with CAD, they can store all their designs in one place safely and retrieve as needed. It helps these professionals in planning, designing and managing all their projects. These projects can be divided into three categories, i.e., land development, water, or transportation projects. They also include road engineering, dams, canals, river development, construction area development, and many more!
With CAD software, 3D models of water or land can be created within minutes, making it a lot easier to wrap up the final details of a project. And the software works with almost no faults so no chance of getting your grades down due to silly mistakes.
Now that you know all about CAD, be sure to save yourself the time and efforts and get your hands on this amazing software as soon as possible!
