LAST CHRISTMAS !!

a/n: this was sitting in my brain and I dont know if i like it but HERE ANYWAYS its also so short SRRY-

pairing: Leon kennedy x Gn!reader

It had been a year since you last saw Leon.

A tragic ending when he decided that he didn’t want to spend Christmas with you, but instead wanted to chase after Ada.

You spent months picking out the perfect present for him, carefully listening to everything he said to ensure you picked the best possible present.

He always whined about not liking Christmas, that he hated decorations, parties, and overall just everything about it.

(He changed his mind after he saw how happy it made you)

You had your own traditions, baking special desserts, adding your family’s topper for your tree, and decorating the inside and outside of your house.

It may have been small things, but it was nice to do regardless.

You wanted Christmas to be special for Leon.

It didn’t matter this year though.

He didn’t even have the decency to explain why he left, just a stupid excuse about another important mission.

He slipped up and mentioned her, saying they had the location and were close to catching her.

That’s all it took for him to immediately leave, rushing out the door and not looking back, not even uttering a pathetic goodbye.

You didn’t cry for him to come back, no loud tantrum about him leaving, nothing.

You figured this would happen.

He was antsy recently, couldn’t sit down properly without bouncing his knee up and down, not able to look you in the eye.

Classic Leon behavior.

You rolled your eyes at that, you hadn’t even given him a second thought and here he was popping back up in your brain again.

It was the anniversary of him leaving.

Christmas Eve.

You had the bright idea to go out today, go to the mall and get yourself a gift, walk around town for a little bit, and just try to enjoy this time of year on your own.

It was annoying seeing those couples together.

Holding onto each other and laughing, playing in the snow with their kids, watching the same lights as you.

You couldn’t blame them for being happy. It wasn’t exactly your fault that you were slightly bitter.

Well, maybe it was.

But your bitterness was internal, hurting no one but yourself.

You audibly sigh at that.

“..when did Christmas get so boring…” you thought to yourself, turning the corner and bumping into someone who felt like they were in quite a hurry.

“Watch it-“

You say, having to look up at the stranger that almost knocked you over.

“Oh, sorry!” They say, giving you a nervous look.

“I didn’t mean to bump into you, are you alright?”

You pause for a moment, you didn’t know if it was your brain just linking things together or you were secretly hoping it would happen?

But a small part of you hoped that stranger would be Leon.

You say you’re alright and keep on your way, nodding to the person before stepping out of their way.

You didn’t miss him.

Not one bit.

But you missed the memories you had together.

You wonder if he feels the same way, walking around whatever place he’s in, thinking of you?

Not being able to celebrate Christmas without you.

You find some comfort in those thoughts, only temporarily.

You could do things without him, always have. It wasn’t any different with him being gone, you still live your life like normal.

You did stay in the same place, opening the door to your two bedroom apartment.

One is your bedroom, the other now a storage place.

You decorated it like normal, your tree in the corner with all your favorite ornaments and lights, a stocking hung above the fireplace, a mistletoe hanging on the doorway to your kitchen.

You weren’t gonna let sadness win this Christmas.

Not this time.

You prayed he wouldn’t come back, because you knew you would let him back in.

Those sad puppy dog eyes he does, begging to come back.

You hated that you couldn’t tell him no.

Maybe wouldn’t fits better.

You could say no.

But you wouldn’t.

You’d invite him in with open arms, completely ignoring everything he did to you last year.

Who’s Ada? He’s in my house now! :)

But that didn’t happen.

You stare at the Christmas tree for maybe hours, burning those beautiful bright lights into your eyes.

Nothing in your brain but thoughts.

You blink, finally coming to your senses.

Your eyes drift to the bottom of the tree, a perfectly wrapped present.

The gift tag reading Leon.

You could never bring yourself to throw it away.

You just placed it in the spare room, cleaning it off before placing it back under the tree.

It was almost sad to see.

But you didn’t care.

Merry Christmas, Leon.

- CONSIDERING THE EGO OF THIS MAN, HE DEFINETLY HAD THE GALL TO UNDERESTIMATE YOU. I mean, look at you. So bright eyed and happy, you were chatting with your fellow peers and your enemies alike knowing full well you're entering this contest that will costs the lives of many people.

- He thought you were niave really or maybe just really stupid. I mean, you often got lost in the arena, you were so unaware of your surroundings at times that you would just casually walk into objects and then proceeded to apologize to them, and overall seemed so happy and enthusiastic even though you were losing.

- He never saw your frown fall and he always found that interesting, as your fellow human was sent to Niflhiem, there was no sadness in your eyes. Obviously no one else noticed because they were too busy grieving but Loki did and thats how his interest in you starts.

- One day he corners you to ask about why you smiled despite the fact that it looked like humanity was doomed. No one knows what happened, Brunhilde just watched as you walked away and Loki followed you.

- Since then, people are so baffled by how close you and the God of Mischief are now. The way you two started talking to one another as if you weren't on completely opposite sides, decorating his nails with nail polish that you somehow acquired, and overall just glued to the hip.

- Sometimes you're a bit clumsy, like when your eyes light up when you look at Loki and run over to him, only to trip over your own feet but he just teleports and grabs you by your waist by teasing you about how clumsy you are.

- You always find his tricks amusing and even let him know what he could do to make them even "funnier", you're the only person who actually has a sense of humor because while Ragnarok was fun, everyone was so terribly serious sometimes but at least you knew how to have a little fun.

- Loves how openly affectionate you are with him, he is pretty touchy but not obnoxiously so, yeah he'll have his arms wrapped around you here and there but you're the one who just grabs his face when he floats upside down and covers it kisses or playing with his hair absentmindedly as he tells you about his latest prank he pulled.

- He also never really annoys you, even when he is being a little mean at times. The gods see it go over your head and they feel bad for you but they don't actually know when he says passive-aggressive things, you're not really bothered because you know he's a sore loser and you had just finished beating him in a game that you were simply too good at. He never goes too far but its clear he's still sulking.

- The gods aren't sure how but you've somehow managed to get Loki wrapped around your little finger almost as much as you're wrapped around his. Some gods admit that it's strange to see Loki so absent but they assume that he's just manipulating you and you just happen to be the new toy he's playing with since you seem like you mean well, but they also don't think you're all that bright.

- That doesn't mean that they don't enjoy your company, you're very fun to talk to but conversations are always cut short because of Loki's possessiveness.

- He especially hates it when Hermes mentions some boring fact about Greece and what it was like back in the day and somehow you get interested and start asking him questions and Loki just rolls his eyes in annoyance as this conversation goes on for LONGER THAN HE WANTS IT TOO.

- Zeus gets curious as to why Brunhilde lets you near the God's so much or why she let's you near Loki in general.

- Zeus: "If I were you, I'd be very concerned or at the very least, pick a new champion. Who knows what sick game Loki is playing at?"

- Brunhilde can't resist that mischievous smile and looks at Zeus with a raised eyebrow, "Really? I don't think they're really playing any games with each other and even if they were, Loki wouldn't be the one I was worried about."

The day of your fight came, everyone felt bad for you because the Gods had pitted you against their wisest diety. The humans weeped, after all, you were such a delightful soul but you stood know chance against such a revered and knowledgeable God. Göll was horrified as she started to tear up, you had become something like a big sister too her in your time here. Always comforting her after she lost her sisters and reassuring her that their sacrifices won't be in vain.

"I-I...We can't lose her too, Brunhilde!" Göll weeded. Bruhilde looked at you as you entered the ring, the both of you sharing a crimson smile.

"We won't, Göll." She assured.

While Heimdall was doing introductions, Loki was floating upside down and kicking his feet excitedly when you walked out. It wasn't uncommon for him to switch sides but for the first time since Ragnarok started, he was rooting for the humans.

"You seem quite happy. Aren't you worried about her?" Hermes noted. Loki turned his head towards him slightly: "Hmm? No. Not really. Why?"

Shiva speaks up, "Hey, I like that little mortal as much as the next God but she's...kinda out of her league this round, isn't she? I mean...look at who they're going against."

The round starts and your battlefield takes place in a clock tower where gears grinded and other mechanics clanked and clacked loudly. Your opponent looks at you smugly as you play with your divine weapon, a bouncing ball.

"I know, I feel bad for the poor God." Loki snickered, "After all, she's is quite clever when she wants to be~"

The very first thing you do, much to everyone's surprise, is throw your ball into one of the gears. The God against you taunts you for creating such a dumb mistake and you just smile at them, shrugging your shoulders carelessly.

"I can't watch this." Shiva groans, looking away. The green haired God smiled: "Aw, but you're gonna miss the good part!"

As they charge at you, you seem completely unbothered, standing still in one place. As they went to attack you, something sounds like it breaks and one of the giant gears hits the God into the side of the arena. Sending them crashing into the other gears, they try to shake it off and go after you again but realizes that one of their garments is caught in the gears, causing them to stay stuck.

Everyone watches from the screen and the God's can sense something is about to happen.

"What on Earth is going on?" Aphrodite frowned, confused as to why you haven't done ANYTHING to attack. Thor looks at Loki and narrows his eyes: "What did you mean by she was clever earlier?"

"Exactly what I said. Wisdom is fun and all if you're boring, you can know everything all you want. But cleverness is all about using the area and everything around you. Sometimes even the people." Loki smirked as he looked at the other Gods.

During your fight, the God still hasn't been able to get loose and your ball that was stopping the two gears from moving couldn't handle the pressure of being squeezed into two different directions before it finally shot out of the gears and directly at the God. With such force that their body which was struggling to be untangled now went limp and everyone gasped, the ball now having created a clean hole through the God's chest. You tilted your head as you looked at the camera, directly towards Brunhilde.

"Was that really it? I've had checkers matches that lasted longer."

The gods are horrified, unable to comprehend how their colleague could have been beaten so easily by a human like you. Meanwhile when humanity recovered from the shock, they cheered with such ferocity and excitement as you walked out of the stadium, your valkyrie appearing beside you and suffering from a killer headache and you apologized sweetly but congratulated her for being such an awesome partner.

"W-What just happened!?" Ares demanded, turning around to glare at the God of Mischief, "DID YOU HELP HER!?"

"Hmm? Oh, nah. She did it all by herself, can you believe that?" Loki grinned. Zeus grabbed him by his shoulder warningly: "Loki...if I found out you betrayed us for a mortal-"

Loki looked shocked but then laughed, his hand covering his mouth and tears nearly forming at the corners of his eyes.

"Please, don't tell me you didn't notice anything off about (Y/n)? Even I knew it but I thought you'd all see it. Although, I can't blame you, she nearly had me fooled." He sang in a know it all manner, "That's why I went to talk to her after Adam's match, after all, she was so chipper...a bit too happy. You know what she told me that day when I asked her why?"

The Gods all stayed silent, Loki kept them in suspense before quoting those exact words you told him: "that she couldn't wait to see the look on your faces when she avenged her friends."

They looked at him and then at you, who was now waving at the cameras and even blew a kiss at where Loki was.

"She...She was acting the whole time?" Hermes frowned.

"You knew?" Odin finally spoke up, rising to his full height and standing in front of Loki. Loki only lowered himself onto his chair and brought his knees to his chest, "I wasn't sure. After all, she complimented my boots right after so I assumed it was her optimism but I had my suspicions. I didn't know for sure until this battle. It's terrifying, isn't it? How she played us into just giving her a win on a silver platter."

Loki then bit his nail with a smile, a blush on his face growing as the Gods were realizing how you'd play them for fools the entire time.

"She's so perfect.♡"

1:50pm. you & your boyfriend have been purchasing clothes for hours now. you’ve been suggesting to get him new clothes ever since you saw his closet. you couldn’t just continue on with your original plan going to a cafe, knowing his closet was full of outdated things. he didn’t mind, he was happy just going on a date with you but he really didn’t understand how you could try on all these outfits without being tired. “so? which are you most comfortable with?” you ask. “pick what you think fits me the most. they’re both comfortable.” he replies as you hum. “i’ll buy the both of them.” you smile as he follows you to the counter & pay with no care in the world. he’s a bit concerned if you ask him, you’ve paid for all his clothes this whole time & you guys already have more than 2 bags.

“this should be enough. stop spending your money.” you leave the store before adding on. “i just need to replace everything in that closet of yours. i love you but i think i’ll get a heart attack if i see any of your clothes again.” you can see the crimson red hue in his face and giggle. “i’ll stop for today but you better stop wearing whatever that is after this.” you point to his current outfit. “the colors make you stand out, but the outfit itself is just horrible.” you shoot him a horrified look to which he chuckles at. you wander around a bit more before you turn to him.

“WAIT, WE FORGOT SOMETHING IMPORTANT.” you stop in your tracks as you look back only to see him with a confused expression that plastered his face. “your wallet? maybe your brush? what is it? should i check the bags?” he instantly fumbles around the bag trying to search for something. “accessories! i didn’t buy you any accessories!” you whine. “wait what?” he pauses and stares at you, you take this as a chance to continue. “we need to go back and buy you a few things, maybe a bag, or some jewelry! i don’t want the outfits to look plain on you.” he seems to calm down as he finally gets what you mean. “do we have to?” you nod as you point at somebody behind him. he wonders why you were pointing at the person until you speak up.

“you see her? i can’t even describe how bad her outfit looks, it’s like i’ll really have a heart attack this time but if she layered a black top and wore a bit of jewelry she could’ve looked at least decent.” he quickly lowers your arm & tells you to not say that as he worries somebody might overhear you. inside, he’s just laughing because he can’t deny that it’s somewhat true as the girl looks boring. not wanting to cause any possible scenes, he grins before agreeing to buy accessories with an agreement that he pays.

Srry this might get into rant territory but I've been going through the blogs of terfs who comment on your posts to compile a blocklist and it's honestly crazy to me how unwilling some people are to understand the fact that the trans community is. yk. a community of people? Like I see so many ppl on radblr talking like transfemmes are these evil masterminds forcing the poor little uwu transmascs to do their bidding because they see trans men speaking out about transmisogyny. Which, (Aside from the obvious sexism of thinking afab people are helpless little goo-goo brained victims who can't think for themselves and amab people are all genius evil dictators do we not see the hypocrisy here guys.) as both a punk who is outspoken about shit that matters to me and as a trans guy pisses me tf off. Is it so crazy to think that trans people are human beings who can care about each other? Like so many people genuinely don't seem to understand that we're just normal people. They talk like we're sitting here plotting to take over the world or something but like. I went to high school with other trans people. I ran laps in the sun with a trans girl while the burly phys ed teacher yelled at us to keep up I caught the bus with enbies I sat on the grimy public school floors while I helped a trans boy tune his violin. My transfem friends and I usually just talk about video games. I talk to other trans people all the time about the most boring shit imaginable. I don't need an ulterior motive to look out for my trans siblings its just common decency because we're normal fucking people who are just trying to live our lives. What about that is so incomprehensible? It's just so apparent when I see trans positivity posts on blogs like this and the notes r full of terfs making it out to be part of some elaborate scheme instead of. You know. Good old fashioned human compassion?? Good lord. Anyway man keep doin ur thing and take care of your mental health running this blog has gotta be exhausting. peace and love on planet earth

yeah as a trans guy, I stick up for trans girls not because they force me to, but because I know it's the right thing to do? I'm not quite sure what terfs are missing here.

HELLLO!!!! i wanna talk abt me and my most closest soulmate, master shifu!!! source is from kfp!!!

I LOVE HIM SO SO MUCH!!!!~~~ i just wanna squish my lil' old man and kiss him up 4ever n ever n ever!!!!!~~~

he is what got me into kfp in the first place!!! at first, i was like "silly raccoon guy rahhh" or "some other guy rahhh", until i got a tale of despereaux phase!! i found out that he was voiced by dustin hoffman (who also voiced from tale of despereaux) which is what got me there!! in late summer of 2021, i found it on netflix!! when i was bored, i felt like "ah f-k it! let's try it out! i want something new!" after watching, i BARELY did anything to get out of my kfp phase!!! i started watching meme videos of it to try but it all failed becos i was falling for the red panda goober!!! i loved his voice and all!!! >////<

it kinda went slow throughout 2022 to 2023!! however, when kfp4 was announced, i started listening to the kung fu fighting cover from the first movie afterwards!!! in result, i was pulled back into my kfp phase again but this time, EVEN MORE INTENSE!!!! until now, i selfship w shifu up to an 11!!!! when i first added him, he was just a secondary, but both my phase and kfp4 pulled him up to be my TOP ULTIMATE MAIN (romantic) F/O!!!! yes, i even went to a theater to see kfp4 on the day after its release!!!! I LOVED SEEING MY HUSBAND AGAIN AFTER YEARS!!!! he means the most to me as always!!!!~~~

at first, we were the best of friends but until i started this selfship blog, i fell for him fast. thanks to what happened to me, we are literally married rn!!! in addition, we have one fankid!! her name is bai (after like…a juice name brand)!!!

yes my love for him is THE MOST INTENSE EVER!!!! it's so so so so strong i do not know what i would do w/o him!!!! if it were not for him, i would be crazy in a bad way!! also, if it were not for that tale of despereaux phase, i wouldn't have fallen for him!!! omigosh omigosh omigosh, his wisdom, his grumpiness, his authority, his kung fu, his concentration, HIS EVERYTHING KEEPS ME ALIVE!!!! when i see him on screen, i either scream in happiness or i just yell something like "BABEY!!!" "MY HUSBAND!!!" "DARLING!!!" i just wanna kiss him every day U////U i wanna cuddle him, kiss him goodnight, and scrunch myself up into him to tell him that i am his one and only love forever~~~~

aaaaaanyways, that's kinda a lot! hope u enjoyed!!!

also i never played genshin or enstars srry T_T i do not have energy to download them onto my iphone. tbh i wish i could get into enstars (or maybe genshin) but i am stuck brainrotting over kfp U////U
