You were a bag of nerves backstage, you was in your make up and hair chair with your boyfriend appearing behind you and wrapping his arms around you. ‘How are you feeling?’ he asks, gently kissing your shoulder. ‘I’m shitting myself’ you giggle which makes him and your team smile. ‘You’ve got this’ he smiles. One thing about him, he was always your number one fan. As soon as you told him that you were invited to perform, he was instantly telling you ‘I hope you said yes’. He walks you to the stage, giving you a soft kiss on your lips, you taking Ed’s hand as you both walk onto the stage. Your boyfriend was stood at the side of the stage watching you in complete in awe, he could see you take a shaky sigh before you started to sing. You keep your eyes either locked onto Ed or closed as you tried to keep the butterflies at bay. After the show he was posting a photo of you and declaring you as a pop princess and how magical it was.

england nt players as rupaul's drag race guest judges:

harry kane - so chill about the whole thing. loves being there. ru introduces him and asks "so harry, do you like playing with balls?". he says "yeh 😄". he has no idea how gay humour works and has no idea how to critique any of the queens looks but thinks they all look "beautiful".

ben chilwell - he is INVOLVED. he is COMMITTED. he's done his research and he's done his hair. he puts in some really good critiques and fucking loves sitting on that judges panel. calls out michelle when she's too harsh but responds calmly cause he is taking this seriously. he will later get an awkward selfie with one of the queens for instagram.

marcus rashford - the queens are just in love with him. he's grinning all the time and defo cries at least once. he speaks about "mentality" and "not giving up" and racism and being in the public eye and everyone else cries. dances along to the lipsync and wants to give a standing ovation if only the producers would let him.

declan rice - says "mate" and "i just love what you've done" no less than 24 times. he's defo got an idea of what drag race is but is also a bit starstruck of the queens. especially because they're all as tall as him. if it was the stand up challenge, he would be fucking cackling with his seagull laugh.

trent alexander-arnold - flirts outrageously with everyone. the queens love him. smoothest talker on the earth. who cares if he's never critiqued a runway outfit before when he sounds this confident? "i loved your outfit and how your worked it and i'd love to see more of it later". no one can touch him.

jack grealish - not a fucking clue what is happening, offers absolutely no usable dialogue for the producers...but my GOD does he know how to talk about the outfits. he is in LOVE with what the queens are doing with their looks, especially the more fashiony ones. makes mental notes of all them for inspiration. asks "whats it like wearing a wig?".

reece james - fucking gassed to be there. he and lauren have watched every single god damn series of this hell show. he is IN the KNOW on EVERY joke. he watches rucaps. he knows about 80% of the things on the drag race iceberg. is an amazing judge. banters with the other judges like its nobody's business. everyone says he needs to be a regular on the show.

dominic calvert-lewin - categorically the best potential judge here. wears an insane fit for his episode and triggers a load everton gammons for "looking like a girl". alex scott retweets a pic of him and tells his detractors to stop being so jealous. he just EATS up talking about the queens. picks out little details in everyone's outfits and offers genuinley useful comments.

jordan henderson - this is pretty much the biggest day of his life. he's just so honoured to have been invited. he speaks with so much love and talks about how inspiring the show is to people everywhere. absolutely breaks down when one of the queens tells a personal life story. he literally has to leave the set for a few minutes because he's crying so much. they play an alicia keys song for the lipsync and he full on falls out of his chair. he will never forget this day for the rest of his life.

Actors that Could Convince Me to Watch (almost) Anything

Here's a cute list (in no particular order) of actors that could tempt me to watch pretty much anything... no matter how shit it is.

(This also is a way to call myself out)

David Tennant

I've been a fan of him since I was nine. I have watched so many shows and movies just because he was in them. He is incredibly talented in every role he has been in. I think his very dedicated fanbase supports that. He is unbelievably talented (I will be saying that a lot in this post). He can take the smallest things and make them feel important. He could read a shopping list as a monologue, and I would be entertained.

Hugh Dancy

If you asked little me what her favorite movie was... Ella Enchanted would've been like number four on that list (little me had priorities). I have been a fan of his for as long as I can remember. He's been brilliant in everything I've seen him in. Hannibal, Law & Order, The Path (he's the only reason I even knew that show existed). He carries every performance brilliantly and I love watching him. It takes a lot of work to tempt me to watch a show with twenty seasons and he did that. Probably my favorite actor currently.

Alexander Calvert

He is the reason I kept pushing through Arrow for as long as I did. He commits whole-heartedly to every role he takes on and you can see it. I adore his acting. Each character does truly feel different and unique. I admire him greatly for that. Lonnie, Jack (and Belphegor), Alex, and the rest of his characters are all distinct. What an incredibly talented guy.

Jenna Coleman

I'm pretty sure she was part of my bisexual awakening (the other part of that is later on this list). I adored Clara. She's always been my favorite companion. Jenna was the reason I started paying attention to The Sandman (and thank goodness I did). She is brilliant. She can be emotional and funny and clever and sassy. I just adore her.

Anya Taylor-Joy

She is so cool. She had proven time and time again why she deserves the attention she gets. Every performance just grabs your attention. It's hard for me to define what makes her so brilliant because there's just too much. She is just so amazing, and you can see that when she cares about a role, she puts everything into it. She never disappoints, I adore her.

Taron Egerton

I've been a fan of Elton John since I was little, so I have very high expectations when it came to Rocketman. Taron hit it out of the park. He deserved so much more than he got for that role. His other roles are just as brilliant and listening to him talk about his work and how much he loves it just makes me enjoy his performances more. He's an amazing actor and I wish I knew about him way earlier than I did.

Andrew Garfield

So many people gush about this man, and I understand why. He is so talented and brilliant. I adore his work. And listening to him talk about his work is so amazing. He is just so passionate and dedicated, and I know I'm saying that a lot but it's that kind of trait in an actor that makes me such a fan. A clear love for what they're doing.

Matt Smith

Hey, look, another actor that was on Doctor Who. I have been a fan of Matt Smith since I was nine. He was and still is my favorite Doctor. He's the master of micro-expressions. Every single movement on his face has a purpose. He is brilliant and I hope that he just continues to get more popular. I just think he's neat, y'know?

Cory Michael Smith

Gotham. Holy shit. Gotham. It's the reason I consider myself a D.C. fan and there's no doubt that Ed Nygma was a major reason that I continued watching and enjoying the show. In that performance alone, you can see that Cory can easily carry an incredibly complex character. He's also the only reason I started watching that Prime version of Utopia, which is cool.

James McAvoy

I remember watching the U.K. version of Shameless when I was like 12 or 13 (I shouldn't have been. It was a terrible idea on my part) and he was the only person I gave a single shit about. James is unbelievably talented. I have watched so many movies just because he was in them, and I truly don't see that changing any time soon.

1550: Death in Grenada of John of God on his fifty-fifth birthday, having contracted pneumonia through plunging into an icy stream to rescue a youth. Impulsive and tenderhearted he had operated a hospital for the homeless and insane which he supported through hard work and begging.

1551: Genevan authorities admonish Hierosme Hermes Bolsec for meddling in theology, but Bolsec now and later argues that men are not saved because they are elected but are elected because they have faith. Eventually he is expelled from Geneva and writes unflattering biographies of Reformation leaders Calvin and Beza.

1740: In Nottingham, Pennsylvania, colonial evangelist Gilbert Tennent preaches his famous sermon, “The Danger of An Unconverted Ministry.” His message deplores placing men in pulpits who are not themselves converted to new life in Christ. “Is a dead man fit to bring others to life?”

1782: Over a period of two days a group of Pennsylvania militiamen under the command of Captain David Williamson attack peaceable Indians of the Moravian mission at Gnadenhütten in retaliation for the deaths and kidnappings of several Pennsylvanians by other Indians, murdering twenty-eight men, twenty-nine women, and thirty-nine children.

1839: Overcoming difficulties, such as two stout Hindu bodyguards set to prevent him from visiting Christians, Mahendra Lal Basak leaves his father’s home in Calcutta determined to forsake idolatry and pursue Christ. 1892: Death in England of Methodist missionary James Calvert, a pioneer in the Fiji mission.

1948: In McCollum v. Board of Education, Justice Hugo Black hands down a decision of the Supreme Court of the United States that religious education in public schools is a violatation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. The court rules that allowing children “release time,” even with parental consent, to receive religious instruction during school hours on school property is a violation of the separation of church and state.

1960: Death of the Orthodox archbishop Vitaly Maximenko of the North American diocese. Born in Russia he had endured many hard knocks as a young orphan and obtained a reputation as a rebel.
