Hey I was just wondering if you could do a story where Aladdin and jasmine have a daughter. But they are very overprotective of her and do not let her leave the palace walls. So one day she sneaks out because she's curious but she gets hurt and gets found by the guards. And then brought back to the palace and she gets in trouble but they talk and make up and they have a happily ever after. I think that would be a cute story!

Author's note: for simplicity's sake, I used Salima from Jasmine is my best friend since the kids in there started living in the palace at the end of the book. And since most people headcanon them as Jasladdin's adoptive kids anyway. Also this is terrible since I've never written the characters before, so sorry. I hope you can enjoy it anyway.

Salima hissed in pain, doubled over and clutching her ankle. Silently cursing her luck as she tried to push through the pain so she could sneak back home before anyone even noticed she was gone. But at last, luck was not on her side.

"Salima! Come quick! The princess is hurt!"

The princess in question bit back a groan of frustration. Of course she had to be found by her Rafi of all people. Of course she would be found by her annoying older brother who took his new position as captain of the guards extremely seriously. Of course she'd be found by the one guard she couldn't bribe into not ratting her out. Of fricking course.

"Jasmine and Al are gonna kill you, you know. "

Salima stared down Jenna, very unamused with her habit of stating the obvious.

"Oh really? I never thought of that. Thank you o wise Sultana for bestowing that knowledge onto me." She replied, voice practically dripping with sarcasm before dodging the pillow that her older sister had so dutifully decided to throw her way.

"Oh stop that. I'm not the Sultana yet and probably won't be because of the new baby. You know, the one that is the explicit reason for why we can't be stressing Jasmine out like this" Jenna scolded, gesturing to the younger girl's levitated leg.

Turns out she had broken her ankle during the fall. Something she just knew her siblings would never let her live down.

"Maybe if they weren't keeping me as a prisoner in my own home than I wouldn't be stressing them out" Salima snarked back.

She was tired of living like this.

"They're just trying to protect us, Sali. You know they don't want anything bad to happen to us--"

"Because of how they found us. I know. But I still don't get why I'm being punished for something I don't even remember!"

"It's not a punishment! They care about us!"

"I never asked them to!"

Jenna stood up, fuming. "You ungrateful-- you have no idea how lucky you are that you don't remember life before the palace like Rafi and I do--"

"Jenna! That's no way to talk to your sister! Especially not when she's injured--" Jasmine scolded from the doorway where she and Aladdin where standint causing the two girls to jump. Startled.

"But mom--"

"No buts" she replied sternly, crossing her arms. "Now. Your father, Salima, and I need to have a talk so why don't you go play with Rajah and his cubs?"

Jenna sighed, pushing herself up-- knowing there was no point in arguing.

As soon as Jenna was out of the room, Jasmine and Aladdin's stern disapproval was turned on Salima, who glared defiantly.

"What were you thinking?!"

"Do you have any idea how dangerous it is out there?!"

"I DON'T CARE HOW DANGEROUS IT IS OUT THERE! YOU CAN'T KEEP ME HERE!" The young princess snapped, scowling in fury.

"Don't you dare talk to us like that! We're your parents!"

"Oh really? Because from where I'm standing you feel more like my jailers!"

The room went quiet as the three stared one another down.

"You don't really feel that way, do you?" Jasmine asked slightly hurt, holding her pregnant stomach.

"I..." Salima hesitated to answer, now feeling bad.

"Oh sweetheart, we never wanted you to feel that way" Jasmine frowned, sitting down beside her. Aladdin followed.

"Then why do you keep me inside all the time?" She asked, sounding bitter.

"We were just trying to protect you. It's dangerous out there" Jasmine sighed. Aladdin quickly took over for her.

"But I guess we got a little carried away."

Some of the tension drained out of the young princess then "that doesn't excuse it."

"No. No it doesn't. " Jasmine agreed "but we will get better. I promise."

"Really?" Salima asked, hopeful.

Aladdin chuckled "really. After you're ungrounded."

Salima groaned "ahhh man!"
