I'm team joe but I wanna ask you guys: don't you think he probably cheated?

I don't view cheating as something so reprehensible. I don't do it and wouldn't like for it to be done to me or any of my friends, but I don't feel any impulse to cancel someone over it. I think is a very personal issue and it's up for each couple to decide where they stand in it. I mean, I'm sure we all watched joe on cwf and appreciate sally rooney.

that being said, didn't TS said in so long london "I founded the club she heard great things about"? fortnight is about matty but it reads like they're neighboors and she's singing about killing his wife, so that makes me think that the "my husband is cheating" line is about joe. she also sang something in another song in the lines of "he was already dreaming about her" which can mean he was emotionally cheating on her just like she did with matty.

anyway it's okay if they did, but don't we think that's the case? I think it's implied that he did something and that she broke up with him after cheating on him with matty multiple times in her head. I think that would explain kelleigh and the rage taylor had for him the whole past year.

Cheating is something awful and disrespectful and should absolutely be seen as a bad thing. Having morals and being loyal is a good thing. Let's call a spade what it is. CWF is about 4 very flawed people doing stupid, terrible things and hurting themselves and others. Not something to look up to.

Joe did NOT cheat on ts. No doubt whatsoever about it! Not only because Joe is an honorable man who would not dishonor himself like that, but also because there is not one shred of evidence that he did. Let's be real here, ts is the most petty, vindictive and hateful woman on the planet. If she had even the tiniest proof he was unfaithful she would have screamed it of the top of her head. We would be 20 short films deep into the annihilation of Joe. Alas, all she has is: he was sad and I got bored of him.

I worry about your comprehension skills. 🙄🙄🙄 Obviously she doesn't have a husband. Fortnight is about an affair that only lasted 2 weeks and dealing with an imaginary future where they are married to other people. And she hates his imaginary wife and her imaginary husband is cheating on her. It's a song about regretting what could have been. It's a what if the affair didn't end after a fortnight. 🙄

"I founded the club she heard great things about" Why must you remind me of that line. I bloody hate it. The audacity to put that disrespectful line in the song. Actually the more I think about it the more I despise ts. She is lying. She did not founded the Joe Alwyn Club. Ang Lee founded the club we've all heard great things about. And the first member to sign up for the club was Yorgos Lanthimos. He was the second director to give Joe a role back in 2015. And the reason we've all heard great things about the Joe Alwyn Club is because Joe is a great man. Not because of ts, but because of him, and his work and his character. And the fact that she is implying that she is better than the women Joe will date after her is pathetic. No, she is not better. She is richer and more successful, but not a better person. Any woman Joe will date after ts with be a better human than ts. And it's ugly of her to try to take credit for Joe and to attack and attempt to belittle Joe's future girlfriends or wife.

so I’ve been keeping this for about two months now and I thought folklore’s 2nd anniversary would be appropriate to reveal it :)

I TRAVELED 14 HOURS IN A DAY TO MEET JOE ALWYN!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to flex but I have a signed folklore now by william bowery 😏

It was one of the best days of my life so far and honestly it still feels unreal. I took a train and a bus and a taxi, met him, then took another bus and another train and a bike to a takeout place because I didn’t have anything to eat all day, went home and literally fell asleep eating a burger. 10/10 would recommend, would do it again in a heartbeat

He is also a million times prettier in real life, jackpot @taylorswift I now know how you felt writing Gorgeous <3

Taylor Swift dating MH, who is completely opposite of Joe Alwyn is just looking as if she wants us to know that she wants someone who is completely opposite of Joe. She is getting seen in public with Matty and everybody knows that Taylor controls when she is seen and when she is not seen. It is like she wants the world to know that she has moved on and forgotten the existence of Joe

This is quite hurtful and I am not choosing sides in the jaylor breakup, but the way Taylor is acting is quite immature. I mean MH is a racist, an islamophobic and has done so many horrendous things. Whereas Taylor is none of that. 

It is like she wants to rub it in our faces that she does not want to date a good guy. I mean MH himself once said that it would be emasculating to date Taylor. And now she is dating him. I wonder how she was even friends with him after he said that. We can’t even know how Joe must feel. 

Watching your ex move on after you have spent six years with them and your ex publicly speaking how she’s never been happy and stuff... This is just very sad. Getting a rebound is fine but a rebound with an old friend who is definitely not a good person? Either she is too sad that she is self-sabotaging, or she is just acting very immaturely. 

But still, it is her life and I don’t think she would really care if we support her and Matty.

This is what the men who actually participated in the production and writing of Folkmore say about it and it's really interesting how different what they say is from what Joe has said so far about participating in that project.

Aaron shows respect and admiration for her and also mentions all the work behind it and says how proud he is of Taylor even though they had only recently met.

Jack shows love for Taylor and says it is Taylor's best work and also mentions all the effort behind it. It's really touching the way he says it and shows us the respect he has for her.

Joe, the man who has been Taylor's boyfriend for five years, also participated in the album as producer and songwriter and got a grammy for it, so surely he showed the same respect and love towards Taylor and her work because he is the best boyfriend, right? Well let's see:

The first time Joe spoke about it, he said he would not and did not want to write songs with Taylor again. Maybe this is because he is focusing more on his acting career, but that is not a good enough reason to no longer want to write music when according to Taylor, he is always playing instruments and making things up. That's a pretty strange response from someone who supposedly composes, produces and plays many instruments and is definitely talented.

He had not talked about his skills as a musician, producer and songwriter and when he gets the chance to do so he says that he plays guitar and piano very badly and that he would not be able to make an album (even though he supposedly worked on the two best albums of Taylor Swift's career) and that he actually always liked acting. This gets even weirder because a real musician would never talk that way.

A person who plays the piano prettly badly as he says he does, would not have been able to play exile and evermore. Come on, not even Taylor had ever played anything like that and she's been playing piano for years.

So this is what we have:

He will never write music with Taylor or another artist again.

He admitted to playing piano and guitar pretty badly even though Taylor said he played piano and other instruments quite beautifully

But he gets another chance to say how good it was to work with Taylor and the whole process that went into it and say nice things about her like Aaron and Jack did!

And all he says is this:

Remember Jack saying that Folklore and Evermore are one of Taylor's best albums so far because he'd never heard Taylor write/sing better? And that Aaron said how talented she was and how good it had been to work with her? Well, Joe Alwyn could have said any of those things and acknowledged the work behind it all, but all he said was that that was a product of playing piano and singing badly. He didn't want to acknowledge Taylor's talent and how good she is at doing her job and he didn't say anything good about Jack and Aaron either, what he said was that for him that whole project was like baking sourdough.

Apparently I don't think he will ever properly acknowledge his involvement in those two albums even though he always acknowledges his involvement in every single thing he actually does. This is just too suspicious and I don't know how they get away with it.

And no, it's not a privacy issue. We can be private and still show love and respect for our partner and their work.

I’ve seen so many swiffers admitting that they have no idea what she’s talking about in this album. Even people who are writers and English teachers lol. It’s so funny that she’s gotten to the point of using so many fancy words and almost synonyms to just being incoherent. There’s nothing to over analyze because they can’t even decipher the surface levels. The only thing that she made clear is that she’s a slimy racist with a fetish for cheating and punching down.

You, she is trying so hard to prove how intelligent she is. At this point her lyrics are a mean, cruel and convoluted mess. But it's ok, cause her cult will still act like she is the second coming of Shakespeare. 🙄

And they call Joe pretentious 🙄🙄🙄 The songs Joe cowrote with her are a million times better than anything on this album.

I think it is and is getting more clear to me now. Ig one of he biggest reasons of the breakup was difference in priorities. I think Taylor got tired eventually of just being private and disconnected completely from the world and no one can blame her. She was such a massive pop star after all. Joe wanted to be private and still wants to be private. But I don't think he forced or manipulated Taylor in any way to be private with him. It was more or less her own decision to stay indoors and away from the public and stuff. We can't blame anyone here.

Another reason, I think Taylor for once wanted someone to actually acknowledge their love in public, if you know what I mean. Like just mention her name publicly i think. Just like we saw with MH and Travis. I don't blame her for being tired of staying extremely private because it was never her personality initially. She was and has always been outgoing which is opposite to Joe.

Maybe she really wanted to show off her boyfriend to everyone, yk? Hot pap pics and stuff, but she was never going to be able to do that with Joe. I am in no way saying the popular moto of swifties, 'Joe did not let her bejeweled' no, this is bs. He always supported her. But I think she wanted him to open up a bit to her public side, which he never did and we can see the major change in her now.

Also, don't kill me, but what if she is going out more and even posing for the pap pics now because she doesn't have anything worthy to protect? I mean she hated the paps during the time with Joe, because their relationship was something they were willing to protect from the cruel media. But now, she doesn't really have anything special to protect and she knows no one can bully her and talk negatively about her body looking at her power in the world now.
