I get Pissed when people compare Marie Avgeropoulos with Stephen Amell and Cole Sprouse, because different from those two, Marie’s first ambition was to be a stunt woman, not actress. She became actress by accident, she didn’t want her whole life to be one (Amell) or is an famous disney face since childhood (Sprouse), her only experience with acting before the role in Supernatural (the one she died drowned in the toilet) was in Port Arthur high’s theater club. Also, different from those two, she is growing up as an actress, since season 3, where JRotten got into that beef with Ricky Whittle that ended with Lincoln getting written off the show that she is showing she is more than just a pretty face, to a point that she is now on the same level as Eliza and Bob on acting skills, and the press, cast and crew is starting to recognized that (Pretty much everyone saying she her acting is on point the last two seasons). 

So think twice before comparing her with these two men.

almost everything people loved about them were because of the two actresses the dialogue was “meh” bc jrotten is rotten and guess who wrote the dialogue and while the acting was good alycia hadn’t peaked yet--which is just saying she has room to grow. a lot of the love today is linked to anger, which is because of how the production team treated the fans and because of a feeling of loss, is what i’ve noticed. i don’t think it’s a bad ship, per se, just really overrated. also i’m r tired of seeing everything compared to it bc lol no not everything has to do with clexa and it’s kinda made me hate the pairing

tl;dr i honestly don’t think it would be as loved if the show was just cancelled and shit played out on its own.
