We had arrived at the home of Bill and Frank, Joel's contacts. Ellie had found a letter addressed to him, indicating a series of instructions that would help us to follow the path.

-Well, I need to rest for a day at least, I can't feel my legs anymore —complained the girl, as she went upstairs.-A bath wouldn't hurt, Joel.

He glared at her, to which I laughed under my breath.

-She's right, grumpy. But if you don't mind, I'll go first —I walked past him, leaving a kiss on his cheek. He raised his lip in a small smile.

I was coming downstairs after brushing my hair. Joel was preparing some dinner, and Ellie was stirring a box of movie videos. If someone were to ask me what I wanted most in the world, it was this.

-Sophie, I don't know which one to choose —she snorted in frustration.

-Let me see —I sat down next to her on the couch, rummaging through the box.-Wow, Bill was a huge fan of Japanese movies.

-Maybe they were Frank's, he was weird in his own way too —my man argued.

Passing by every bad movie disc, suddenly a cover caught my eye. I opened my eyes like two saucers, and covered my mouth with my hand not believing what I was holding in my hands.

-Sophie, are you okay? —said the little girl, frightened.

-Yeah,yeah, relax. God, I had completely forgotten this series existed. It was my favorite when I was little.

-Gilmore Girls? But it says seasons 1,2 and 3?

-It's not a movie, it was a starring series in the 2000s. I loved watching it with my sister. We would sit in front of our little TV and spend hours and hours watching the same episodes.

I felt a tear fall from my eye as I remembered Lila, but I quickly wiped it away.

-Do you want to watch it? —she asked excitedly next to me.

-Put the CD in that small opening, Ellie —said Joel, coming towards us with 3 plates.

The brunette approached the said device to play the content, and sat on the floor looking at the screen expectantly.

Sophie could not assimilate in her mind what was happening. She could never imagine watching again the series that marked her when she was a teenagirl with the man she loved and a girl who had won her heart.

-What a nice place —Ellie exclaimed about Stars Hollow.

-We used to say with Lila that when we grew up we'd go live there —she sighed against Joel's chest, as he hugged her around the waist, circling her with his fingers.

-That guy has a grumpy face...Just like you Joel! -she laughed on the floor, while the woman nodded closing her eyes from laughing.

-Oh my god, she's right! You're Luke's long-lost brother —Sophie echoed, to which she raised her gaze, meeting her partner's typically furious face.

-You're Lorelai, and you're Luke —she pointed at both of them, turning to look at the TV.

-But you're sexier, cowboy —she whispered into his arms, as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

-And I adore your green eyes, and your messy windblown hair.

-And I love that you are gentle, strong and the most beautiful man inside and out in this world —locking her gaze with his, she confessed to him why she loved him madly, so that he would never forget it.

-Okay, I'm going to sleep, since you guys got in a mellow phase; so goodnight —the girl said goodbye, walking up the stairs.

She raised an eyebrow "seductively", to which he smiled. Sophie made him forget why the world was already over just by seeing her smile.

-So, my big man —she sat down on top of him, to which he responded by placing his strong hands on her hips.

-Tell me what you want, darlin’ —caressing her back under the fabric of her shirt.

With both hands she brought her face close to his, and joined their lips in a slow kiss, showing how much she needed him, as he needed her.

-If you make me a coffee, I'm all yours —she interrupted in the middle of the act.

-So you're blackmailing me with sex for coffee?.

Sophie lifted her shoulders up. Joel shook his head nodding. He couldn't refuse her, I would give her to the damn moon if she asked for it.

-It's like Ellie said, you're Luke, I'm Lorelai. Angel, you have wings, baby.

Joel closed his eyes, trying to contain the laughter that bubbled up in his throat. His girl was special, but he wouldn't trade this for the world.
