18. you didn't think you'd make it this far, let alone celebrate it in the city of love. you didn't think you'd start living in paris either. your initial plan was to live with your parents and little rat brothers until the day dad sends you off to your forever man. although, knowing your father, you probably won't even need to think about that day happening anytime soon.

ciro runs to you, hugging your legs since that's how tall he is. "feliz cumple, vieja!" [happy birthday, old lady!]

"who are you calling vieja?" you play along. "gracias, pollito." [thanks, little chicken.]

"is he coming, linda?" antonela approaches you, picking ciro up and propping him on her hip. "don't want him bailing out on you on your special day."

"nothing to worry about, mamá," you reassure. "trust." antonela smiles at you, before hearing a ruckus happening twenty feet from where you, mom and ciro stood.

"that must be your papá and brother playing football again," antonela groans. "i told them not to play ball out in that field." you offer to take ciro with you as you let your mother yell at your father and mateo.

thiago walks into the ballroom, heading straight for you and ciro. "is hermano pablo coming?" thiago asks you quietly, acknowledging how the ballroom echoes even with the lowest of voices.

"he told me he will be." you answer. your doubtful voice had pushed ciro to drape his arms over your shoulders.

"it's okay if he doesn't, hermana. nosotros estamos aquí para ti." ciro smiles, knowing you as well as both your parents can't resist to stay mad after seeing that smile. [we're here for you.]

"te quiero mucho, mi pollito." you bump heads with ciro before realising the presence of two figures at the front doors of the hall. [i love you so much, my little chicken.]

"pablo!" it was him. and pedri. he asked you if he could bring a plus-one.

"but i am your plus-one." you had told him.

"yeah, but it's your party." gavi answered.

"wait, what?"

"i dunno. can i bring pedri or not?"

"esta bien, lo que sea." you gave up. [fine, whatever.]

"te dije que vendría." gavi smiles, wrapping his arms around you and ciro. [told you i was coming.]

you introduce ciro to pablo, your youngest brother only waving shyly at him, only having met him twice. thiago was quick to throw his arms around gavi's waist. "ah, on the dot." you say, noticing your parents and mateo walk into the hall, all nice and ready for the party.

"what do you mean?" pablo questions.

"mamá, papá, mateo, this is my boyfriend, pablo. and pedri." you introduce. your hand coils itself around gavi's bicep.

"ah, sí. pedri, como estas?" he and pedri shake hands, exchanging niceties before he moves on to pablo. "y este es pablo de barcelona?" lionel asks, his head tilted to his right. [ah, yes. pedri, how are you doing? and this is pablo from barcelona?]

"sí," you say, seeing your friends start gathering by the front door of the hall. you choose to take ciro with you to greet your friends, so you walk away from pablo. stopping next to your dad, you tell him, "se bueno, papi. he's just pablo, and you're... el mejor del mundo." [yes. be nice, daddy. he's just pablo, and you're... the best in the world.]

leo only shoos you off to greet your friends before taking a deep breath. "pablo." he calls for your boyfriend, whose eyes have drifted to you as he watched you walk away from him.

"yes, sir?" gavi stands straighter than usual.

"como te va en barcelona? ¿xavi te trata bien?" leo asks, making conversation with him as antonela, thiago and mateo lead pedri away to the buffet spread. [how are you doing at barcelona? xavi treating you well?]

"i'm getting better, mr. messi." gavi nods his head slightly, hands together in front of him. he's smiling his best smile. he really wants to impress your father.

"deja eso. llámame leo," he waves gavi off, a smile — slowly but surely — appearing on his face. gavi can only chuckle at the acknowledgment. "sentémonos, el espectáculo está a punto de comenzar." [quit that. call me leo. let's get seated, show's about to start.]

once everyone is seated, your uncle, antonela's brother, begins the ceremony. you sat in between leo and pablo. act one; first daddy-daughter dance. "¿pueden la princesa y papá dar un paso al frente para el primer baile?" [can the princess and dad please step forward for the first dance?]

leo presents you his hand, nodding towards the dance floor. "ready, mija?"

you nod your head, taking dad's hand before trailing behind him to the centre of the hall. you instinctively pan your eyes to pablo, who sat next to your mother. he looks at you with great admiration, before putting both his thumbs up and grinning.

the music begins to play and you lean against your father, coiling your arms around his waist. "gracias por todo, papá." [thanks for everything, dad.]

"no," leo shakes his head. "gracias por todo, hermosa. has cambiado mi vida para siempre el día que naciste. dios me ha dado la hija mas grande que podría tener." [no, thank you for everything, beautiful. you have changed my life forever the day you were born. god has given me the greatest daughter i could possibly have.]

you couldn't stop your eyes from filling up with tears as you listen to your father's intimate speech. "gracias por cuidar a tus hermanos como lo haces. eres más que una mujer. eres un monstruo. un monstruo en la cancha, un muñeca fuera." [thank you for taking care of your brothers the way you do. you're more than just a woman. you're a monster. a monster on the pitch, a doll off.]

"me acabas de llamar monstruo?" you scoff on leo's shoulder. [did you just call me a monster?]

"quise decir eso amablemente!" leo laughs. [i meant that nicely!]

you thank your dad, and you dance in silence. you were grateful to have leo in your life. he was your rock, and he always will be. when the music finally ends, you allow your cheek to tear away from leo's shoulder. leo smiles at you as your uncle speaks again.

"pablo? tu turno." your uncle nods at pablo, who gets on his feet immediately as leo turns to make eye contact with him. [pablo? your turn.]

you wait for pablo on the dance floor. you let your head hang low as you wait, because pablo could make you blush by just walking over to you. "estas lista, querida?" boom, you're blushing. [you ready, darling?]

you nod, giving him your right hand and placing your left on his shoulder. the music begins playing and you allow pablo to sway you gently and slowly left and right. "thanks for coming."

"cualquier cosa para ti, amor," gavi chuckles. "me di cuenta de que tu papá te dio un pequeño discurso cuando bailaban. creo que quiero decirte algo a ti también." [anything for you, love. i noticed your dad kinda gave you a little speech when you guys danced. i think i wanna say something to you too.]

before gavi could speak, your uncle comes running towards the both of you. "¿tio? ¿todo bien?" [uncle? everything okay?]

"todo está bien, cariño. es solo que... tu amigo pedri de ahí de allá dijo que le pasaras el micrófono a pablo," your tio explains, looking at pablo now. "dijo que tienes algo que decir." [all is good, darling. it's just that... your friend pedri over there said to hand pablo the mic. he said you've got something to say.]

you grit your teeth in guilt, and as you look up at pablo, he was annoyingly mouthing something to pedri. "toma el micro, pablo, no hay tiempo para esto." you whisper-yell. [take the mic, pablo, there is no time for this.]

he rashly took the mic from your tío, clearing his throat before beginning his speech. "uh, hola. espero que todos ustedes estén pasando un buen rato. soy pablo, el novio de y/n," he introduces himself. "vine desde barcelona y estoy aquí para celebrar la vida de nuestra querida niña hoy. mi amor, eres un regalo para todos nosotros. no puedo hablar por tu familia, pero has cambiado mi vida de una manera que las palabras no pueden describir." [hi, hope all of you are having a good time. i'm pablo, y/n's boyfriend. i came all the way from barcelona and i am here to celebrate the life of our dear girl today. my love, you are a gift to all of us. i can't speak for your family, but you have changed my life in a way that words cannot describe.]

[thank you for everything you have done for me, and that includes your support for me and my career even all the way here in paris. i promise you, i feel your presence in barcelona every time i play. i hope this year brings you all the joy you deserve. i love you, and i see my future with you. happy birthday.]

he comes in closer to give you a hug, and as he did, he whispers in your ear. "estoy orgulloso de ti, messi. solo... ven a visitar barcelona más a menudo, okay?" [i'm proud of you, messi. just... come visit barcelona more often, okay?]

"i'll try." you smile.

A/N: Okay my first ever thought today to get me distracted was listening to music so I just shuffled some songs form one of my playlists and a rap song was playing while I was writing and I was like ‘Oh shit I gotta write this!’ Now here we are!

- When you first met Trollex asked you all about your genre listening to how you explained everything and told him that a rapper is a musical poet technically your job was blending rhythm and rhyme to express stories, emotions, and ideas. They craft lyrics, hone their flow, and perform with energy that captivates audiences. Rappers often reflect on personal experiences or societal issues, becoming voices for their communities like what you did

- He couldn’t stop being interested in you after that and get pulled in more when you rapped into the microphone to show him an example with an random beat he gave

- He can’t help but raise a brow at you sometimes when you rock up to the studio and wait for creativity to strike, usually spending all night to work on your music he gets worried sometimes and tells you to relax and have some fun with him at the Techno reef Parties

- He would definitely make beats for your song and let you freestyle your way with the music he had given you.

- He love sit when you rap especially when you insult someone in an rap battle he finds it funny to see your smirk or smile

- He loves when you write and perform some of your rap songs or hip-hop music.

- He hates how your genre was criticised though sometimes… scratch that he hates when anybody discriminates and insults someone’s genre or music (it’s technically their race in Trolls)

- He loves you with all his heart but can’t help but notice how you and Prince D would vibe to hip hop together and rap he’s jealous of your bond since your technically in the same music genre even if your appearance was different your genre was the same

- Trollex though loves when you share your earbuds/headphones with him to show him some New rap songs or hip hop music you enjoy fucking falls in love with you all over again

- He had tried rapping once since you begged him to do it he was good like REALLY GOOD

- That mother fucker was good at it… not as good as Bruce though that man could go off (Bruce is VA is the guy who played my favourite character in Hamilton Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson. NEHGEHE)

- He glows and has an bigger smile when you praise him as he quickly tackles you into an hug and snuggle into you which leads up to you holding him close to your chest and rubbing his back as he sleeps on your peacefully

- Trollex can’t help but admire how you hold your mic and go off at anybody or just have fun with it

- He loves how you send out messages through your rap speaking up and talking about issues and your own experiences while on stage.

- You know how I said he makes your beats? Well you also come by to his place and surprise him with an rap you wrote out of boredom without realising and asked if he could help make an beat for it

- he did and it was sold so fast 😭

- Trollex loves when you sing normally though even if you rap all the time he loves when you just sing in an slow pace and wants to dance with you slowly even if both of you were used to the loud techno and hip hop music

Look at the stars Look how they shine for you

Arriving at the airport after a 1-day flight. You took out the camera to continue the series of vlogs that you posts every day and which you started the week of the warm-up match against Ireland.

"Hey guys how are you today? Personally I'm pretty good-" you said before being cut off by your teammate Selma Bacha.

"She's only in a good mood because she's going to see her girlfriend again tomorrow" she said before catching up with Grace Geyoro and Viviane Asseyi to escape you.

"I mean she's right, I'm going to see Ellie again tomorrow." you say with a big smile before getting back on topic.

"Anyway, we've just arrived in Melbourne to get ready for the game against Australia on the 15th of July. Honestly, I think it's going to be a tough match, it's not at the same level as Ireland, even though Ireland had some very good players. So we're going to have to move our asses to try and win the match. I'll make a transition to show you my room at the hotel afterwards," you say before hiding your camera with your hand and turning it off.

Once you’re arrived at the hotel, and found out about the accommodation for the coming week, you were relieved to find yourself with Selma, your partner since the Olympique Lyonnais academy.

"Yes, Y/N/N, we're in the same room", Selma said, jumping onto your back before bringing you down to the floor with her.

"Yes I can read Selma" you say as you pushed her off your back to get up. Returning to the room, you take out your camera to resume the vlog. You put your hand back in front of the camera before taking it away to say.

"I'm back! So I'm going to show you the room," you say before starting to show the room. Once you’re finished, you dropped yourself onto the bed to conclude the day's video:

"Well, guys, that was our beautiful room, so I'll see you tomorrow with Ellie! Sel' do you want to say something?" you asked your flatmate, "Yes, hang on, I'm coming" she said.

*big thump*

"Sel' ça va?" you asked between two laughs, tears welling up in your eyes as the fall was so ridiculous.

"Ca va" said Selma, getting up and walking more calmly towards you. "Kisses guys, sleep well, don't forget to support France for the World Cup please, goodbye" she said as she climbed back into bed.

"You heard the boss, good night and see you tomorrow," you say, switching off your vlog before connecting the camera to the computer to post the video.

As a player living under the shadow of your big brother, you were used to receiving comments like "you're not as good as your brother", "stop playing football", "well, lacazette's sister sucks lmao", but that didn't mean you were happy to receive these kinds of comments. That's how you found yourself at 2am on twitter and Instagram reading the comments you received every day. These comments made you fall asleep at 5am.

And it was called Yellow

When you woke up, Selma saw that you were still asleep, which was strange because, apart from when you are with Ellie, you are an early riser. It was when she saw the phone in your hands that Selma realised why you still hadn't woken up. So she had the wonderful idea of surprising you. Selma walked over to your camera to start the vlog of the day.

"Hi guys, it's Selma, I know you were expecting to see Y/N/N, but she's still asleep, she hasn't had the best night, so to change that I'm going to call Ellie, because I know she's already awake, get her over here so she can wake up our favourite person. It's clearly a genius idea". She says as she picks up her phone and dials Ellie's number.

"Hey Ellie, I'm sorry to bother you but would you like to come to our hotel right now? Because I have to tell you, Y/N/N didn't have the best night of her life. She was still asleep when I woke up, with her phone in her hands, and I think she's been on the internet again to see what people are saying about her," said Selma, worried about you.

"Don't worry, you're not bothering me. Oh yes, why not, it's a good idea and it'll be good for her not to think about it while I'm with her" said Ellie, going back to her room to get her things, a Matildas tracksuit set.

"Okay good, and yes, I think so too. I'm going downstairs to let the receptionist know you're coming so you don't get turned away," said Selma as she started to leave her room and head for reception.

"Ok thanks, I'll be there in 10 or 15 minutes, see you later" said Ellie as she hung up.

Once Ellie arrived outside the hotel, she was immediately greeted by one of the receptionists. "Hello, what can I do to help you?" asked the hostess.

"Hi, I'm Ellie Carpenter, Y/N Lacazette's girlfriend, I've come to visit her. Her flatmate, Selma Bacha, told me she'd told you?" said Ellie, hoping she hadn't given the wrong information.

"Oh yes, I see, well Mrs Carpenter, your girlfriend is on the 3rd floor, room 312. Have a nice day" said the hostess.

"Thank you very much, have a nice day too" thanked Ellie before taking the lift to room 312 on the 3rd floor. Arriving at the door of the room, Ellie took out her telephone to warn Selma.

By the time she had put her phone away, the door opened and Selma Bacha was overjoyed to see her Lyon team-mate here.

"Ellie" Selma shouted in a whisper as she came to give her a hug.

"Thanks for coming" she thanked her quickly before letting Ellie into the room.

"No worries, you know I'd do anything for our favorite person" Ellie said with a heart filled look on her face.

"Oh that's lovely an digusting at the same time" said Selma smiling before resuming her sentence.

"So, you've got the key card on Y/N/N's bedside table if you need it, I'll go with Grace, Kenza and Viviane. Have a nice day, lovers." she said as she closed the door. Now alone, Ellie took off her shoes, then went straight to your camera to resume the vlog, "Hi everyone, this is Ellie, my moment of glory is going to be short as I'm just going to film myself waking Zoe up" she said as she placed the camera on a piece of furniture so that it was well positioned.

"I am here because Im worried about you and because I love you. Now do you want my jumper?" asked Ellie.

"Yes please give it to me, and no need to be worried i just read those comment last night and I shouldn't have done now cuddles please." you say holding out your hands at her like a baby.

"Argh Ellie your jumper's all yellow" you complained girl.

"Don’t do it again baby you are an excellent player okay? So I have to take it back?" questioned Ellie.

"No, I'm only going to wear it because it's got your scent on it and I missed you, come on come here i ant cuddles please" you say as you put on the famous yellow jumper and grabbed Ellie by the waist to lay her down beside you.

"I missed you too," said Ellie, putting her hand on you cheek to draw you into a kiss.

You know I love you so

After spending the morning in bed, our lovebirds got up and got ready, although you preferred to keep Ellie’s jumper, to join Caitlin Foord, and Sam Kerr at a restaurant for lunch time. When they got there, you were greeted by whistles because of the yellow clothes you were wearing.

"That's the last time I wear yellow for you Els" you say with your cheeks flushed.

"Don't say that, yellow suits your tan" laughs Sam before saying hello.

"I'm going to leave again if you don't stop" you tried to intimidate the 3 matildas. Once the meal was over, the 4 people decided to go their separate ways, Sam and Caitin heading back to their hotel, and Ellie and you to your hotel, but before you could do so Caitlin turned round to say. "We'll be waiting for you in 6 days Y/N/N, I hope you're ready to lose", narrowly missing the middle finger you gave her.

Having spent the rest of the afternoon lounging by the pool, watching their series, you and Ellie went back up to your room to enjoy a couple of hours together before having to separate for the next month.

"Why does all of your tracksuit are yellow? That colour isn't on your flag dude it's weird" you asked.

"I don't know it's not me who create your tracksuit, and- woah hold on miss, did you really call me 'dude'" said Ellie.

"Yes, I did, what are you gonna do 'du-'" you say before being cut off by two hands coming to tickle her on her hips. "AH- E-Ellie stop it please" you say with tears in your eyes and between two breath.

"Said you're sorry for calling me 'dude' im your girlfirend not your dude". she threatened you.

"I-Im sorry, now please s-stop it i can't take it anymore" you say trying to push away Ellie who had ended up on top of you.

"Ok, Ok I will stop" said Ellie but didn't take her hands off your hips.

"Why are you looking at me like that" asked the Australian, "Like what?" you replied.

"Like I've just tied up all the stars in the sky" replied the blonde.

"You're the most beautiful star" you say with a cheeky grin.

"Okay softie come here now" replied Ellie drawing you into a kiss before resting her head in the crook of your neck.

When Ellie left, you noticed that she had forgotten to take her tracksuit jacket, so you took out her phone to tell her.

Resting your phone on your stomach, you couldn't help but feel butterflies in your stomach at the thought of having Ellie's jacket with you for the next few days. When it was time for dinner, you had barely got out of the shower so you grabbed the first clothes you could find before putting them on and hurrying down the stairs so as not to be late.

"Nice jacket, Y/N." Grace told you, laughing along with Viviane and Selma.

"I didn't know you'd changed nationality" said your coach as he left to sit at the other coaches' table.

"Huh?" was the only thing you could reply before looking at your clothes, it was when you saw the Matildas jacket that you understood her team's jokes.

"Leave me alone" you say as you sat down next to Selma who was filming the scene with Amel and Wendie, all posting you in Ellie's jacket, and mentioning the two of you in a instagram’s story. You decided to repost it with "I look good in yellow don't I", before switching off your phone.

You saw Ellie's instragram messages as you went back to your room, so you decided to reply quickly before getting ready for bed so you could be in shape for the first training session of the week. At the end of the first training session (which was more of a muscle warm-up) of the day, you joined your foursome before going to the table for lunch.

"Are you worried about the Australia game?" asked Selma as she bit into her apple.

"Honestly, yeah, they're monsters mate" said Viviane as she scrolled through tiktok.

"Yeah I agree with Viv, Sel" said Grace as she played subway surfers on her phone.

"Yeah same as the other two, from the keeper, to the striker this team is amazing" you say watching Grace play and laughing at the tiktoks Viviane shows you.

"Fuck, I forgot to post my vlog yesterday! Never mind, I'll continue it for a while before posting it tonight," you say, slapping your forehead. You ran back to your room to get the camera before turning it on and picking up the vlog where you left off.

"Hi guys, day 3 in Australia, Melbourne to be precise, yesterday I got to spend the day with Ellie as you've seen our stories, today however it's training for Friday's match" you say as you sat down next to Selma.

"This morning was pretty easy, because it was weight training to strengthen and warm up our muscles, and this afternoon it's little games and matches. Selma, any comments on this morning's warm-up?" you asked, pointing the camera at Selma.

"It was fun, there was a good atmosphere," she said before returning to her apple.

"Thank you Selma, Grace and Viv, how did you find this morning's session?" You asked the two other players in front of you.

"It was cool", "It was exhausting" said both of them at the same time, while you showed yourself to the camera with a face filled with terror at the fact that both of them had spoken at exactly the same time.

"Wow that was weird don't do speak at the same time again please" you say before you had to say goodbye to your vlog as lunch break had just finished.

"Well, the break's over, so I'll see you later," you say as you turns off your camera.

Unfortunately you couldn't finish the afternoon's training session because of a sprained ankle, so you'll have to miss the match against Australia and the 1st World Cup match against Jamaica. You were on one of the sofas in the hotel lounge, in your Olympique Lyonnais shorts and ellie's yellow jumper, when you decide to finish the day's vlog.

"I'm back earlier than planned, I've sprained my ankle so I'll be away for at least 2 weeks, and yes I can see you coming, yes I'm still wearing ellie's jumper because I miss her and it smells like her. Dick Grayson

• No matter how much experience people thing Dick has with relationships, he always gets nervous at the thought of you not liking him back the same way or rejecting his feelings. This self doubt is only there because his life always seems out of control, and his relationship with you is the one thing he actually wants to feel stable about.

• From the moment he realised what his feelings were, Dick would be rather bashful and quieter than usual around you. Instead, his words are replaced with stares he can’t hall giving you as he’s so distracted by your presence.

• Once he’s finally built up the confidence and realised it’s about time he asks you out, he’ll find a very subtle but romantic way to do it. Usually he would like to go to somewhere that means a lot to the both of you to do it rather than somewhere fancy, just so you’re both comfortable when it comes to him asking you.

• Dick likes the concept and idea of a traditional type of date, but if you weren’t into that sort of thing he would still make it sweet and wholesome. He’d probably take you on a few dates before things get serious, but this is also because he wants things to be truly serious with you.

• Dick wants someone he can fully confide in when looking for a partner, and short term flings are past him completely once he reaches this point. He needs someone he can fully trust and will always be there for him, and no matter how hurt or damaged he gets will always look after and support him.

Jason Todd

• Jason doesn’t have much experience with asking out someone he likes or even being with someone in a close and intimate way due to his lifestyle and the unfortunate events of his life. So he does approach this rather clumsily once he’s realised his feelings.

• Once he realises his feelings Jason will spend a big chunk of his free time with you, and when you’re both alone together it does feel like a date before either of you have even suggested that idea. He wants you to know that he likes you straight away and needs to test the waters to see if you like him back.

• However, Jason is a hopeless romantic, so if he were to ask you out in a date he would go all out. He’d have flowers ready for you and he’d present himself to the best of his ability in the hopes of you seeing past his toughness and cherishing him for his sweet and intimate sides.

• A first date with Jason would most likely have a movie involved but it doesn’t really matter to him where it is. If the situation is dangerous and you can’t go many places then he’s happy to stay in with you instead.

• Jason would already have a vision of himself being with you far in the future before he’s even asked you on a date va use of how much he needs a committed relationship. If he really likes you then it’s not easy to just cut ties with him in any way.

Tim Drake

• Tim has liked plenty of people in his life but he hasn’t had much experience actually being with them, and certainly less in asking people out on dates. The thought makes him nervous no matter how much he encourages himself, especially when he feels anxious around the person anyways in fear of rejection.

• Once Tim has realised his feelings he may be feeling a bit insecure about them, even though he knows that he would treat you well and definitely much better than most others could. His feelings get to him, and his nervousness makes him feel like he’s letting himself down.

• When he does finally gain the confidence to ask you out he’ll do it in a very traditional way, and would make a great impression after finding out what you like. He’s going to bring the situation up to the point of asking you out, and you showing an interest before he does it would definitely help.

• Tim would probably take you to a restaurant or even have a nice dinner at home, either way he wants the first date to be a proper one. He’s more than happy to accommodate to your liking if you don’t like fancy restaurants, but compromise would be the best option.

• Tim wouldn’t be able to imagine only being with you for a short period of time so he expects the two of you to have a serious relationship that would last a decent amount of time at least. He would feel that a short relationship would be a waste of time when he could have found a much better situation to be in.

Damian Wayne

• Damian has liked people before but he’s pretty much kept it to himself for his own sake and because he doesn’t know how the situation would fit his lifestyle. He doesn’t have experience asking people on dates because of this so it’s difficult for him at first.

• Once Damian realises his feelings he would start acting strange in other peoples opinions and the people close to him may even think something is wrong. He starts to act sentimental and being nicer to you than anyone else, and it doesn’t take others long to realise how he’s feeling for you.

• When Damian finally asks you out it would be quite amusing for you, he’d be awkward and would ask you out almost as if you were two old people because of his lack of knowledge of modern dating. He wants to be reserved and not come across as creeping on you, but Dicks advice just confuses him as to how to behave mostly.

• Damian would find out everything you liked ever since you met him to figure out what the perfect date in your opinion would be. It’s surprising how much he can remember and the date ends up leading to a lot of fun you would never forget.

• Damian wants someone he can truly cherish so a short term relationship wouldn’t be a good situation for him to open up into. If you aren’t going to be there for him in the long term then he doesn’t see a point in trying to have a committed relationship - you both need to want the same things for it to work.

Pablo Martín Páez Gavira is the name of the boy you hate the most, unfortunately, it seems that your destiny will always be next to him.

You were kids when you met, age four and in the same class back in your hometown, he spent his days pulling on your pigtails and making fun of you. You shared the same classes and friends but never truly got along.

Unfortunately your parents did get along, becoming fast friends and with the ages, you two were forced multiple times to hang out.

You were most exited when you found out Gavi was moving to Barcelona, even if you unlike the others didn't quite see his talent, you were glad he was supposedly good enough for Barça.

Your joy didn't last long, though, as a couple weeks later your father too informed you of you family moving to the very same city.

You cheered yourself up by thinking maybe everything wouldn't be that bad, with Gavi in La Masía and you on your own school. But of course nothing ever goes good for you, with your parents still into forcing you two to hang out and you eventually meeting some of Gavi's teammates and friendships being formed.

"¿Qué pasa entre Gavi y tú que se odian tanto?" one of the boys, Ansu asks you one day. (what's the matter between you and Gavi that makes you both hate each other so much?)

"Es un idiota ese amigo tuyo, parece que no tiene nada más que hacer que molestarme" (that friend of yours is an idiot, has nothing better to do than bother me)

Ansu makes sure to keep that information on mind for later times, even if he has personally never seen Gavi being as bad as his usual self towards you.

It isn't until some years pass that he realises how cruel his friend can be when it comes to you.

Gavi has just debuted on the first team, a reason to celebrate. Not for you, but it was just your luck you both end up in the same house party, him with his teammates, you with a couple friends, inicially only approaching each other so you can greet everyone but him.

You are dressed in a short red dress, so tight it leaves nothing to imagination, that your friends forced you into.

"No puedes seguir llorando por el gilipollas ese. Tienes que salir y olvidarte de él por completo" one of them told you, her phylosophy on life is to go out partying to forget any broken hearts. (you can't keep crying for that idiot. You, have to go out, and completely forgey him)

Broken hearts like yours after that douchebag you used to call your boyfriend, the one you had been dating for year and a half, decided to cheat on you out of nowhere.

The boys, the ones you know and are friends with are quick to compliment you on you, appearance, making you blush, meanwhile Gavi rolls his eyes and glares at you. He looks you up and down, he hasn't uttered a word yet, he lets out a mean laugh.

"Ahora entiendo por qué el gilipollas ese te puso los cuernos" (now I understand why that asshole cheated on you)

All of you are wide eyed as you turn to him "¿Perdona?" (excuse me?)

"¿Me estás diciendo que no te parece normal que te pongan los cuernos cuando tú básicamente vas por ahí vestida como una puta? Probablemente tú hiciste lo mismo con él" (you are telling me you don't find it normal for him to cheat on you when you go out dressing like a whore? You probably did the very same thing)

"¿Pero que dices, payaso?" Ansu yells at him, hitting him on the back of the head, Pedri too glares at him. (the fuck are you saying, you clown?)

"¿Ustedes no piensan lo mismo? Por favor, poco más y lleva un cartel con: follame en la frente. Como si alguien fuese a querer con ella" (don't you both think the same? Please, she is one step away from having a sign with: fuck me on her forehead. As if someone would ever want something with her)

"¿Se puede saber cuál es tu puto problema?" you finally manage to say, trying your best to contain your tears. (what the fuck is your problem?)

"Ay, por favor, no te hagas la tonta. Es normal que el tipo ese te engañara, no entiendo ni como aguanto tenerte tan cerca durante tanto tiempo, si es que eres insoportable y tampoco gran cosa" (oh please, don't play dumb. It's normal that the guy cheated on you, I can't ever understand how he lasted that long with you near him, you are insufferable and your looks aren't good either)

Before Gavi has time to realise, his head is tilted sideways and there is a sting in his cheek, you are pushing against his shoulder, and run straight into the bathroom. He receives another push, this time from Ansu as he glares furiously at him, Pedri too looks disappointed.

"¿Se puede saber que coño te pasa?" Pedri shouts at him, his jaw is clenched, so is Gavi's. (care to tell us what the fuck is wrong with you?)

"No necesitáis defenderla para que se os abra de piernas, probablemente ya está ahí dentro esperandoos a ambos" (you don't have to defend her to get her legs wide open, she is probably waiting for you both already)

That night, Gavi arrives home with a purple eye given to him by Ansu Fati.

You two don't see each other in a long while, he believes you to be avoiding him, it bothers him. Meanwhile, you are glad your parents no longer make you hang out with him.

A month or two have gone by before you have to face him again, it's your father's birthday, his best friend is Gavi's dad, and of course they force the asshole to come too. You ignore him, and it annoys him a lot.

He manages to catch you when you try to sneak upstairs into your room.

"He visto que te has hecho muy amiga de Ansu, ¿o capaz algo más?" (I have seen you and Ansu are really good friends now, or perhaps something more?)

"¿De verdad vienes otra vez a tocarme la polla? ¿No te basto el otro día? Déjame en paz, Gavi, olvídate de mi existencia como yo estoy intentando hacer contigo" (you seriously come again to fuck with me? Didn't you have enough the other day? Leave me alone, Gavi, forget about my existence like I am trying to do with yours)

Gavi's usual stone cold gaze when he watches turns soft, sad "Yo no quiero olvidarme de tu existencia, me gustan las cosas como están ahora" (I don't want to forget about you, I like things like they are now)

"¿Tú haciéndome la vida imposible y dejándome en claro lo horrible que soy? Paso" (you making my life impossible and making it clear how horrible I am? Hard pass)

"Esto es lo nuestro, y/n, yo jodiendote y tu picandote, nuestro juego" (this is our thing, y/n, I bothering you and you hating it, our game)

"No, Gavi, este eres tú siendo un gilipollas y odiandome sin ningún motivo" (no, Gavi, this is you being an asshole and hating me without a motive)

You try to leave, he stops you.

"No te odio" (I don't hate you)

"Si, claro" (yeah, right)

"Me gustas, y/n, ¿tan difícil es de comprender?" (I like you, y/n, is it that hard to understand?)

You are incredulous as you watch him, you tear your arm from his hold.

"¿De verdad me estás diciendo que me has tratado como auténtica mierda porque eres un gilipollas con edad mental de niño de tres años? ¿Te piensas que por joderme la vida me ibas a gustar?" (are you seriously telling me you have treated me as if I were shit because you are an idiot with the mental capacity of a three-year-old? You really think that ruining my life would make me like you?)

Gavi knows it's a dumb thing to do, but still does.

"Escúchame bien, tú nunca me vas a gustar, así que olvídate de mi, Gavi. Si de verdad te pensabas que iba a ser una historia donde yo soy la tonta y te perdono años de acoso estás bien equivocado" (listen to me clearly, I will never like you, so forget about me, Gavi. If you really thought this would be one of those stories with me as the dumb main character that forgives you after all this bullying, you are so wrong)

"Haré lo que sea para que me perdones, pero por favor, no me saques de tu vida" (I will do whatever you wish me to so you forgive me, but please let me stay in your life)

"Ya es tarde, te digo que te olvides de mi, cualquier mierda que se te ocurra no será bastante" (it's too late, forget about me I tell you, any shitty idea you have won't be enough)

You do leave this time, leaving a broken boy chastising himself over his stupidity all throughout the years. He understands you hating him, he does too.

What was your favorite character traits about Rachel Amber?

Hey! Happy to see you and boy what a great question, thank you! Loaded answer ahead; TLDR, see the good in Rachel Amber.

Rachel's many things. Pretty, hot, charming, stylish, not to mention her lovely voice, these physical traits are already a great start for many. Then you have functional traits-- ambidextrous (can I just say that's hella cool, omg I want that too), social genius/people skills, straight As student, drama queen, masked with a layer of mystery, many people would've already fallen for her, in-game and out, me being one of them when I first got to know her as a character (so pretty much those were my fav traits of her).

But if we strip her physical beauty down and shove aside her fascinating skillset, who is she really? We may never know 100%, but some character traits can still be found.

Here are some of my favourite (&underrated) Yangs to Rachel Amber's sides. aka why Rachel Amber should get more love & less hate from the fandom

Ofc there are exceptions, but those are not relevant in this post; assumptions & headcannons are added

1. A good heart

Kindness to me will always be one of the most important character traits to have for anyone. With all that powerhouse of a Rachel Amber can accomplish, she chooses to use them with kindness.

With her social skills she chooses to lift people up, saving Hayden from a quickly-escalating scolding from Mr Keaton in ep 1, asking Chloe in a nuanced way if she's "taking (getting kicked outta Blackwell) this a little too well", kinda guiding her independent thinking rather than directly telling her what's right or wrong. (There'd be constructive criticism between Chloe & Rachel, which I stan in a relationship/friendship.)

With her intelligence she tutors Justin & helped him improve his algebra from an F to a C I believe? That's pretty impressive, ngl

with her ambidexterity.. idk, she makes Chloe happy :> (yes i'm totally referring to doing graffiti with her left hand on Chloe's insistence *cough*)

This is why I'm inclined to believe that tornado was not Rachel's revenge. She'd never choose to put Chloe, her parents, her friends, at risk; if she wanted revenge she could've killed the men w her powers. Sure you can say some of these might be her trying to live up to her DA father / principal assistant's duties, but at least she chose to do them. She could very well be a kid who doesn't give a damn or fluff through some of these things that requires time & effort.

2. Sees the good in others!

One of the most underrated Rachel Amber traits imo. This girl literally has a reputation of "her friends are her friends", and does not discriminate in terms of friendship/who she hangs out with. She picked Chloe up from her lowest (saw her & praised her for backtalking the biker, defending Nathan, & "you're more of a hero than you think you realise", when Chloe didn't take Drew's money). Rachel stuck with Chloe when no one else did (puts up with her sh*t, which ofc Chloe does the same), literally chose Chloe to share her uncertain future outside Arcadia, did not take her chance to leave when she could in those 3 years, most likely cuz she wanted to leave with Chlo. She also hung out with Nathan (& Chloe when so many wouldn't), saw the good in Frank (yes. same as Nathan & Chloe his reputation is far from great and despite the unhealthiness of this relationship, she at the very least cared for the guy, & saw the humanity inside him), & very sadly fell for the portrayed "gone through some serious shit" act by Jeffers*n, all these showing her being an empathetic & sympathetic person.

I'll add non-judgemental as well, cuz it's why she's able to get along with so many people so well. Like what her VA Kylie Brown says in an interview, whoever you are, Rachel'd be like "hey you're a pretty cool person, let's talk!" It's inspiring. I love that about her. Gotta have more Rachels in the world.

3. Ambitious. Puts in the hard work. Persistent.

"One day, I'm gonna climb Mt Everst." says a 15 year old Rachel in Bts, who has posters of travelling in Asia (the green poster has Chinese words saying "go travel in China", amongst others), already speaks about her courage & ambition. And of course, leaving Arcadia with no one but Chloe for a better life. Yes you can say it's reckless, because it's a big idea for a teenager, but she didn't just give up on it. It stuck with her, and she worked hard for it. Doing photoshoots to get modelling jobs, maintaining her 4.0 GPA, finding opportunities to leave... she did those for 5 years. And in the comics universe, they made it out! Now they're over 22yos with an LA apartment, Rachel's in modelling gigs with her acting career kicking off... what could've been for game Rachel. (oh the things I'd do for Bts' ending to be Max appearing in the nick of time instead of that damn vibrating phone!) Also I wonder if in some universes, like the wheelchair Chloe one, a missing Rachel could mean she actually made it out without others knowing, instead of the darker end.

4. Caring & thoughtful & protective & passionate partner/friend/lover!

She listens to Chloe's problems (therapy session), she gives Chloe nice clothes to wear within the few days they'd met (what financially challenged Chloe needed, & in a way that wasn't awkward for Chloe), she sends post cards to Chloe while she's away (she thinks about her often), & "don't f****ing touch her". Passionate lover, I mean.. the way she kissed Chloe under that lamp (with high intimacy of course) is good enough an example. Chloe's the romantic one in my head. Rachel, the passionate.

*the way she puts her hand on C's shoulder after wiping her tears, OmO*

So far these are the character traits I can think of, and your question helped draw out Rachel's positive sides that are too under-recognised. Thanks again! :)

ok so... i know we were introduced to celia last week. however when that episode came out i realised the name was very familiar and just had to look into it.

celia is the name of the lady from the survivors group at the end of tma. she was found in a domain that she lost her name to and we later find out she had been to the institute to give a statement that martin took and then felt bad she thought she was going to get payed for so he gave her some money.

so when i went looking for the character, i noticed we have a va listed for her.

and guess what.

celia from tma and tmagp have the same name and are voiced by the same person.

and the fact that she seemingly remembers? and is looking further into the old fears and remembering the voice?

makes me wonder who else got sucked into protocol world and who else remembers.

PSYCHO-PASS: Providence - According to Japanese Twitter

After a long wait (or maybe it just felt long to me), PSYCHO-PASS: Providence finally hits North American theaters this week (14 July 2023), before becoming more widely internationally available in early August.

Unfortunately, as I'm not currently in Japan, I've not yet seen it. Fortunately, I speak Japanese, so I've read pretty much everything I could find about what happens. If you're like me and can't wait to see it in cinemas/don't mind major spoilers, this post is for you.

What follows is a compilation of everything my sister and I know about PPP -- drawing from fan talk on Twitter, director and writer interviews and tweets, and other official promotional materials only available in Japanese -- without actually having seen it.

We also explain some of the major plot points and go into detail on the real-life works referenced in the film, so if you watched it but feel like you could still use some clarification (as many Japanese fans did), this post might be for you too.

Once again, this post is nothing but spoilers (to be taken with several grains of salt as there is a certain amount of guesswork involved), so read on at your own risk.

*Note: "SN" denotes tweets/quotes by director Shiotani Naoyoshi.

We open on a snowy, stormy night, January 2118 (2 months post-SS Case.3).

A team of armed mercenaries board a transport ship off the coast of Kanagawa, Japan and set about killing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Suppressing Action Department (SAD) agents on board.

Among them is Kai Mikhaylov, a Russian agent with a large burn scar on the left half of his face.

Kai Mikhaylov (VA: Kase Yasuyuki): A member of the “Peacebreakers.” In order to obtain the Stronskaya Document, he launches an attack on the ship Milcia is on.

Leading the mercenaries is fellow mercenary Bokamoso Murray, who sports distinctive red dreadlocks.

Bokamoso Murray (VA: Shirokuma Hiroshi): A combatant affiliated with the “Peacebreakers.” He operates in tandem with Kai Mikhaylov; beginning with the assault on the Grootslang, he works to seize the Stronskaya Document.

For the record, the Grootslang (the ship’s name) is a mythical giant snake rumoured to dwell deep in a cave in the Richtersveld, South Africa. It’s said that anyone who encounters it will meet with misfortune. Well then.

Indoors on the same ship, we find Dr Milicia Stronskaya, who has been invited to Tokyo from Russia to participate in an important political conference.

Milcia Stronskaya (VA: Tsuda Shōko): A researcher and global authority on behavioural economics and statistics. She establishes the basic theory simulation referred to as the “Stronskaya Document.”

Realising the ship is under attack, she hurriedly sends a communication to someone, apologising under her breath as she does so.

She pulls out a gun just as a helmeted mercenary bursts into the room, and she shoots him dead. You can tell from how she handles it that she’s competent.

Kai charges in next, dodging her shots and pinning her down.

Leaning over her, Kai calls her “professor,” at which she startles. He then says to her, “There’s nowhere left to run.”

Kai shoots Dr Stronskaya, killing her.

Bokamoso shows up then and says to Kai, “You screwed up, huh, Kai,” and “We’re switching to Plan B.”

Meanwhile, Kogami Shinya, one of our two main protagonists, heads to her rescue.

Kōgami Shinya (VA: Seki Tomokazu): Special Investigator, Suppressing Action Department, Overseas Coordination Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Age 33. He was living a nomadic life abroad acting as a mercenary but was recruited by Frederica and returned to Japan; currently, he’s pursuing international incidents. He prides himself on his advanced combat techniques and honed physique.

Kogami makes an insane jump from an aircraft wearing a wingsuit. (I’ve seen him described alternately as Batman, Captain America, and a flying squirrel here lol)

SN: What colour suits a man who flies... Thinking about it.

Kogami proceeds to fight his way through the enemy soldiers with his typical efficiency.

Unfortunately, he arrives too late to save the professor, and the mercenaries have already absconded with her head. The reason for this is explained later.

On deck, Bokamoso and his team board their aircraft and make their escape.

Kogami, who has followed them out, takes aim at the aircraft but is tackled to the deck by a reanimated SAD agent. The man’s mouth doesn’t move but we hear a voice quoting what appears to be a passage from a religious text.

An explosion goes off and Kogami breaks free of his attacker and escapes the conflagration by jumping into the ocean.

Backlit by the flames and treading water, Kogami — vexed but composed as usual — reports on the situation via his device.

We cut to the opening credits, set to Ling tosite sigure’s “Alexthymiaspare.” The group also contributed to the soundtracks for PP1, PP2, and PP: The Movie (M1), so this is one of many ways in which the film “returns to its roots.”

The credits are then followed by a brief shot of the Sibyl System accompanied by the following text: 《"The Sibyl System," a vast surveillance network that assigns numeric values to and governs human beings’ mental states. Detectives who carry "Dominators" — guns that measure "crime coefficients" — pursue "latent criminals" before they commit crimes.》

The next morning, our other main protagonist, Tsunemori Akane, now Chief Inspector of the CID, attends a meeting of senior bureaucrats to discuss the proposed abolishment of the Ministry of Justice and the old system of law.

Tsunemori Akane (VA: Hanazawa Kana): Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Public Safety Bureau. Age 25. She commands the Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Department. She possesses an incontrovertible sense of justice and a stalwart mentality that makes it difficult for her Hue to cloud; she makes an appeal for maintaining the law under the Sibyl System.

The official name of the conference, which is being held at Nona Tower (i.e. the Ministry of Welfare’s HQ), is “Review Meeting on the Topic of the Overseas Expansion of Industry RE: the Sibyl System.”

Shindo Atsushi — father to PP3 protagonist Shindo Arata — is also in attendance, alongside officials from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Shindō Atsushi (VA: Sugō Takayuki): Director-General of the Statistics Department, Minister’s Secretariat, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Akane is the only woman and by far the youngest person present, but she doesn’t hesitate to say her piece. When it’s her turn to speak, she opens by saying, “‘Under the Sibyl System, the law is unnecessary.’ Is that truly the case?”

Akane is basically the sole voice of dissent, while Atsushi assumes a more neutral position.

During the meeting, Atsushi receives a text message, which he checks covertly before stashing his device in an inner pocket of his suit jacket.

Moments later, Akane receives a red alert on her device and excuses herself.

Atsushi calls a break in the meeting while Akane steps out to take a call from Mika.

Shimotsuki Mika (VA: Sakura Ayane): Inspector, Division 1, Criminal Investigation Department, Public Safety Bureau, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Age 21. The youngest Inspector ever inducted. At the time, she took a negative stance towards Akane’s way of thinking, but the two have a good working relationship now. She’s competitive but possesses both presence of mind and rational judgement.

Director Shiotani tweeted a quote by Rousseau that I saw someone identify as having been in reference to this scene. It’s not clear to me though whether a character quotes it aloud, or if Shiotani just meant it as an overarching theme:

I just had an idea what if izuku was a part timer in the restaurant to another world before entering UA

Trying to work out if I have ever mentioned my love of this anime or if ur reading my mind.

Anyway that's such a good idea I'm rolling with it. For context if you haven't seen it, the show is basically what it says on the tin - normal seeming japanese restaurant gets visitors from a high fantasy universe on saturdays. Also i'm 90% sure the chef is voiced by aizawa's VA so

I could play this a few ways, but I think I want into to be mostly canon AU bnha, but the restaurant exists there and still opens into a fantasy world, still powered by magic, like in the show, not a quirk. Oooh - idea - its the same place as in the anime, but 200 years in the future - our chef got a few too many long life blessings and is still going strong.

Izuku, about 12, gets chased into a closed eatery by some bullies who lock the door behind him. He cries himself to sleep and wakes up to a concerned face and some eggs on toast. He ends up helping out in the kitchen that day before he heads home - he's a fine cook but an excellent baker and it's been a while since they had good cakes in stock. At first he doesn't realise the patrons aren't from his world - they look very european and don't seem to have many visible signs of quirks other that the mutant types but it could just be chance - and then someone does a little magic and he's invested in this new quirk. Then someone else does the same spell and hes confused about two people who don't look related doing the same thing.

Then the first guy does a totally different spell and he's looking at the chef like "SIR WHAT"

Anyway, he gets the ok from his mother to work in the restaurant on saturdays and grows up with a wealth of people who adore him - not despite his lack of quirk, they simply never cared about his lack of 'magic' in the first place, its rare to be a gifted magician, after all! He gets a mentor at a time he needs one, one who can teach him something that isn't the weight of the world on his tiny shoulders.

Basically, this is an Izuku who gets to be a kid who makes people happy by being himself and making sweets. Something nice and simple. He ends up with more magical artifacts, weapons and talismans than he can poke a stick at, and a very basic understanding of spell crafting taught to him week by week by a slightly tipsy wizard.

Does he become a vigilante? Perhaps. Not like anyone can prove it, anyway!

Hola! Do I ever not have angsty Gov hcs-

(Implied/referenced physical abuse, PA and VA are not nice in this, mild references to trauma and a strong dosage of insecurities)

He's ambidextrous because he was forced to be. He was originally left handed, but thanks to the way things were back when he came into existence, he wasn't allowed to use his left hand. Virginia would tie his left hand to the table or chair so that he wouldn't try to write with it. Gov learned quickly to stop that, though his handwriting was really shaky with his right. When Gov tried to eat with his left hand during one dinner, an already angry Penn took out his anger on him and broke his hand to get him to stop. Even now that the idea has eased out of existence, Gov is scared of doing anything with his left hand in front of Penn or Virginia.

Also, though his handwriting with his right used to be shakier earlier, that has changed and the trauma of being forced to not use his left means that his hand starts shaking terribly whenever he even holds a pen in that hand. He can type just fine with both hands on a computer though, since that he mostly learned himself with a bit of help from Mass, who wasn't really so damn stupid as to stop him from using his left hand. Now, the only hint that he's not naturally right-handed is that he struggles to write his 's', 'z' and 'e' s (since these are tough for because of the angle they're written in, or at least that's the case as far as I know)

He doesn't think he's worthy of anything unless he works. He thinks food is a treat given to those who work very hard so that they can continue to do the same and that sleep is a reward he is undeserving of because it is only for those who don't have as many responsibilities as he does [guess who told him these two things]. He thinks that he can only take a break if it is justified - which means when he has overworked himself to the point of falling sick. He never rests because it stresses him out more to try and relax than to just continue working, since he always feels like he has too much pending incomplete work to not stop doing it - he doesn't actually, those lazy people at the White House just keep pawning off their work to him and he doesn't even realise it. He goes days with only coffee and water since he feels that's all he should get since those are intended to help him work better anyway.

Also - his entire existence has been connected to a use, to a purpose for which he was created. As a result, he feels worthless and useless if he thinks he isn't fulfilling his purpose - which is to work for the people. He's also really scared all the time that if he doesn't reach the high expectations everyone else places on him all the time, he's going to get replaced and thrown away. He's really insecure about this so he keeps on trying to prove himself by striving to do better and better, and falling into a pit whenever he thinks he failed (which is a lot).

He has trauma from all the wars he's been in but doesn't realise it. Nor does anyone help him either. Neither does he ask for it, because he was never taught that it was okay to ask for help. Rather, he was told the very opposite. He gets scared and flinches at sudden loud sounds, and wakes up from nightmares in a cold sweat, but thinks those are completely normal stuff.

When you're born in a fire, you think the whole world is warm. But when you're born alone, you find the fire cold. (I make little to no sense here just ignore this) Gov was born in the middle of a war, and he was left alone to his own devices for most of the time; so fighting is all he knows how to do properly, and loneliness is his closest companion. He doesn't have any friends either; with everyone either seeing him as the people of the government who keep making terrible decisions (and so blaming him for it) or just as someone to use for their own benefits (something which has worsened his trust issues a lot too). But he doesn't think he needs any either, since that's not required for his work, and he's been taught by a less than good at being a parent Penn and Virginia that he shouldn't do anything other than carry out the role he was intended for.

He's also not used to getting anything without working for it. Florida got him a gift once and had meant it as a joke but Gov got so emotional over it and kept asking Flo why he'd gotten him something since he couldn't remember what he'd done to deserve it that Florida started feeling guilty (a rare moment) and just took him to Loui's home for some good food since that's the only way he knew how to comfort him. [He gave Gov a break for exactly 2.4 days]

Speaking of emotions, Gov doesn't know anything about then. He was never allowed to feel, or express his feelings either, and so he never learned anything but anger (directed at him from others) and fear (of others). All the emotions he has learned about over time, he hides behind a mask and a trained diplomatic voice. No one, not even the people who should be able to, can tell when something is wrong with Gov - especially since they all think that he's just always stressed, and any time he shows some other emotion is just a variant of this stress. (NY, NJ, Mass, and Utah eventually realise something is wrong, but that's a long and far way ahead in the future.)

Speaking of stress, that's all Gov knows truly. Stress, coffee, work, and headaches - the four constants of Gov's life, with the added touch of being yelled at by someone for something he isn't to blame for ever so occasionally enough to be daily. That and pain. It's all he's familiar with.

After rewatching sonic prime alot of times i can finally give my honest reveal:

Season 3 really dissapointing

S1 and S2 were really great tho!

S1: "2nd fav. season" (don't got much to say abt it 🙃)

- sonic his charactertisation felt kinda weird, he ignored his friends and is impulsive to the max

- sonic realising what he has done was kinda sad

- nine was AWESOME

S2: "fav. season"

- i liked the aspect of sonic going on a chase through the shatterverse to collect the shards

- the pirates were ASSHOLES!

- forest part never got me hooked so much

- good fights not too many and the pace went well (for me)

- CHAOS SONIC THE SILLY ❤️

- i wanted more chaos sonic he was a dark mirror of sonic himself and it was really intersting

- Once again nine was a fucking badass

- the betrayel was executed well ig

Sonic was really ignorant to nine but nine got his own faults too

But the line: "like the real tails would, I am REAL!" was so raw and the pain i can only imagine nine felt in that moment...

S3: "least fav. season ofcourse"

- i enjoyed evil tails very much

- episode 1 was fantastic but shadow being pulled out of the picture was bullshit

I also wanted a longer reaction to the betrayel of nine, i saw a comic dub of sonic having a panic attack. Now i know that is far too many of emotions for sonic to be allowed, but atleast they could've showed some tears and panic

- the fight episodes got bland real fast.

Just fighting the same ol' robots again, they get defeated, nine repairs them, the same again

- i did like episode 6 tbh...

The fight of the iconic duo and later the iconic trio was my favo fight in the season

To begin with: nine his redemption was forced and executed garBAGE

Sonic just went from, this motherfucker needs to PAY for his action to, aw im sorry i saw 1 palmtree and i understand why you wanted to murder me.

Aside from that i almost liked the rest of ep7

The race against time with sonic to save him from certain death was really wholesome

The Amy's were fucking cute and knux carried my sonknux heart ❤️

Shadow rescuing sonic was beautiful and i LOVED it very much

BUT! sonic should've had more emotion to seeing his friend again.

That cliffhanger was totally unnecessary and we know now that is just a symbol for sonic and his friends running into a brand new adventure

Couple other notes:

- voice acting was fucking awesome!

@mactheactor killed it (i want him to be the main sonic tbh

he is up there in my top 3 VA for sonic with @snapscube sonic aka penny parker and jason griffith (1st: penny sonic, 2nd: devon sonic, 3d: jason sonic)

he got the cockiness and the teenager vibe of sonic like jason and ryan have for example

he has all the talent and passion, emotion for the voice and it felt like i actually heared sonic himself)

- animation was really good!

i am not trying to bring the series down!!

i am just saying my thoughts but the series is amazing and should definitely deserve a watch if you like sonic things or if you just like action or multiverse thingies

What is your take on Lisa when she was at Sumeru Academy?

TL;DR: Lisa was a “model Akademiya student” — non-stop research output, overworking, lack of study-life boundaries — until she burned out hard.

(Note: this is primarily headcanon.)

Well, first, lemme use this as an excuse to plug my Lisa Vision ficlet:

They call you the Lohefalter of this century, the Biruni of this millenium. Young and old, all your classmates strive to emulate you.

When you tag along on Ruin and Domain exploration trips as part of [your] thesis... dozens of imitators attempt the same: they hire their own Adventurers Guild escorts, and head deep into the Mare Jivari’s ruins to find data they can sell on to you in exchange for co-authorship. Of the thirty percent who survive, all but two of them drop out to pursue other careers[...]

When you start bulk-making protein shakes—the saved time increasing your productive hours by nearly eight percent—your recipe is known across the Academia within a week: a sickly yellow powder made of desiccated pumpkin, ginger, turmeric, onion extract, and almond flour, mixed 1:2 with water to serve. Most people give up in disgust after a few days: the chalky texture and homogeneous flavour prove too much for them. You don't finish two theses in a record two years (instead of decades!) without falling into the "be passionate about your work" trap. I imagine late teens + early 20's Lisa as wanting to Do Great Things, falling in love with the Akademiya. She turned herself into a machine for churning out Knowledge and Research, and was supported every step of the way by the Akademiya.

I'm not sure whether it was the Akademiya's culture or the price of power/knowledge in Teyvat that finally pulled the wool from the eyes — probably a bit of both. But she burned out, hard, graduating and then "retiring" to a sleepy town where nothing ever happens, going out of her way to pursue a life of late mornings and minimal stress.

One could easily read her as having post-traumatic chronic fatigue. Remember this line?:

“I really wish people would just return their books on time!”

(Cf. EN audio 1 2 from Wikia page; see also e.g. 1:29 here.)

[EN VA] Mara Junot's performance provides a lot of characterisation here, well before we see how terrified everyone is of her wrath. This is a woman with a lot of sublimated anger, a 99% calm demeanor with a temper that flares up out of nowhere. And the trigger for said temper? People causing her extra work— which, knowing what we know about her, is tantamount to people causing her undue stress.

I think Lisa is going out of her way to insulate herself from any triggers reminiscent of her Akademiya years, and work overload is a huge part of that.

And yes. More than one person will explode in anger upon realising that Qi Wu = Monkey King.

As for the date of the first chapter, I hope to be finished within the week. I tend to over-research beforehand and want to get things just right
