Happy/sad fantasy Deku!(I couldn’t decide which to do)

So I got an 🍎 pen a while ago along with procreate to try the stability feature, so cool!!!

I’ve always had real shaky hands so I never thought about drawing as something to seriously try at, just wasn’t worth the effort, so this has been something totally new for me & I’m honestly quite excited about it!

Like I’ve done a few throw away pieces here and there for shits and giggles but like I actually really tried on this one, and I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out

I’m still figuring out how everything works as well as how art in general works(shading is hard! but also kinda fun), so it’s not the best but it’s far faar beyond anything I ever thought I could physically do, so it’s good enough for now 🥰

i think at some point, when izuku became sassy and confident, he would be just joking around about his “childhood trauma” in a sarcastic way and bakugou would be like super concerned about it, thinking that maybe he’s doing something wrong.

whats your favourite part of bkdks dynamic?

they will always understand each other, better than anyone else; that might be my absolute favorite part of their relationship.

for example, within the series, so many people perceive bakugou as this hotheaded, competitive student, aiming for the top. &, while that’s very much true to his character, they never really know why. as in, why is he like this? &, there’s always this sense of who could ever understand him?

well, the only person who understands bakugou is midoriya. & that’s simply because he has been with bakugou from the start. he has witnessed that desperate passion bakugou truly tries to hide, beneath his pride & frustrations.

midoriya has watched this stubborn crybaby dream big, from their childhood till now. &, seeing that with his own eyes also helps to instill a constant, passionate flame in midoriya’s own heart to become the best.

midoriya’s strong ‘kacchan’ intuition is prevalent any time bakugou is readying himself for a fight, a competition, or in any scenario in which he must prove himself. it’s wordless, yet very accurate.

so, in times when bakugou feels like giving up, there is no one else that can uplift him, other than midoriya. because, unlike any other person, he is the only individual that knows bakugou’s drive, his passion, his efforts, & his goal in becoming the greatest.

also, not to mention that midoriya wants to become the greatest, right alongside bakugou.

&, obviously this answer utilizes midoriya’s perspective a lot. which comes to beg the question, what about bakugou? surely, he doesn’t feel that same way.

bakugou already knows where midoriya’s mind goes. & he follows, fully using his own ‘deku’ intuition, without having midoriya say anything.

& even when he tries to brush it all off as thinking ‘one step ahead’, it nevertheless shows just how much midoriya’s actions already are at the forefront of his mind. he understands how midoriya thinks & most importantly, how he feels.

bakugou worries about ofa, for midoriya’s sake, hoping that the one thing that gave midoriya his hero purpose wasn’t going to be what ends it. it would ultimately crush midoriya. & bakugou knows that.

because, unlike any other person, he is the only individual that knows midoriya’s drive, his passion, his efforts, & his goal in becoming the greatest. having witnessed it all from the start.

bakugou simply just understands midoriya, better than anyone else.
