Late to class

Professor: Why were you late to class?

Me in my head: excuse you, I have had approximately 5 hours of sleep in the last three days, stayed up until 5 am to finish two ten page papers, woke up at 7 realizing I forgot ANOTHER final paper was due at 2:00pm ripped a five page research paper out of thin air with 4 scholarly sources and got showered, dressed, and presentable, before sprinting here, forgetting my inhaler, causing my asthma to kill me, for you to ask me, at 11:02 why I was late to my 11:00 class.

Me out loud: oh sorry! I’m just running a bit behind.

Trichtillomania

I hate this so much. I already know after 16 years of pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrows that they won’t grow back. That’s fine, I’ve had years to deal with that. What I don’t like is suddenly starting to pull out the one body hair I’ve tried so hard to prevent. I love my head hair and now I have a bald spot. Not on the side or anything no, in the middle of my bangs. Where people can see it, I get enough gasps and “why don’t you have eyebrows? Why would you shave them, do you have cancer?” I’ve tried so many things, going to try snapping rubber bands on my wrist next.
