It's never too late to pay tribute.
I hope you can forgive me for taking so long.
🎊Happy Birthday Osamu Tezuka🎊

Another fun fact no one asked for.
Panjyamon is a reference to Panja from Jungle Emperor/Kimba the White Lion.
Talking about references I was thinking if Hououmon X-Antibody is a reference to Tezuka's Phoenix, but it's probably more of an inspiration from Fenghuang myth than from Tezuka's design.
And there is also Plutomon, I think it's more the general shape that gives me that impression, but it's probably not inspired by it directly either.
I was going to use the Reference Book artworks but they are too small to see anything so too bad, using the card game, Survive and New Century arts.

You’re going to have to be deep in the throes of untreated neurodivergency to get this.
Anyway I hope the text is readable, but you may have to zoom in.

Speaking of childhood cartoons not afraid to tackle death, I want to show you guys one that has deep meaning to me.
The second verse is so beautiful. I'm too young to have grown up with the original, instead I had a box set from a website that had restored this scene, so I had it all in it's entirety.
The Japanese version is also so beautiful, probably more so with the lovely song.
My point is, this is a show from 1965 (1966 in America) and it's just... It's so good. I'm crying after looking these up but it's so worth it to see them again.
Oh, for people who don't know (I imagine most of you) Kimba and his mother had been poached from Africa, his father slain in the process. His mother is already weak and dies during transport, but Kimba is able to escape and he's swimming back to Africa in this scene.
