Sometimes I go down the little rabbit hole of thinking about cross-species troubles in the Ben 10 universe. Kinecelerans struggling through off planetary treaties because they look ridiculous trying to sit in a chair made for a Human / Tetramand body plan. A Lepidopterran struggling to follow gendered customs because they have three sexes and they have no idea where their’s translates to on a m/f spectrum. Loboans first establishing relations with Thep Khufans and offering food because its a gesture of goodwill on Luna Lobo but the Thep Khufans have no idea what they’re looking at because they photosynthesize. Pyronite ambassadors finding out the second species stocked up on fire extinguishers and reminding themselves to not be hurt by that because they know it’s a reasonable precaution for a first meeting but nonetheless it’s disrespectful on Pyros to imply one can’t control their fire.

I loved XLR8 in Ben 10!

I was wondering what's your headcanons for befriending a Velociraptor?

-The active friend that always wants to go somewhere and do something. Drags you along on all their activities because you're their best friend everything is much better when you're with friends!

-Very impulsive and is always changing their mind. The two of you were planning on going to the movies? Wrong, now you're going to the zoo to check out their newest penguin exhibit! They saw it on the news this morning and that looked way more fun!

-Because they are so active, you've got to be on your feet a lot. Only time you really get to calm down is when they take a brake to snack on something. Because Kincelerans have an accelerated metabolism this happens quite a lot.

-Always shares they snacks with you but in turn you also have to share with them if they think you have something tasty. You have to guard your food like a hawk or else they will nab a handful of fries before you can even blink. Just take a bite of their burger in retaliation, they won't mind.

-Speaks with food in their mouth because they forget to chew before talking. Acts really sheepish when they realize it.

-You will have to urge them to slow down for you because sometimes they forget that humans are not as fast as Kinecelerans. This is actually a good thing for them too because when they actually slow down they get the chance to see things they may have been going too fast to notice otherwise.

-A very fast talker but it's easy to get used to once you get to know them. You might just start talking faster too without thinking about it.

-Always on time and shows up at wherever location you promised to meet right on the dot, not a second before or after. If you are late then they will tap their foot, not in agitation but simply because they are so full of restless energy.

-Kinda impatient and gets pretty frustrated if they have to wait for a prolonged time. Try to be nice about it but if you, for example, have to fold your laundry before you can leave, then they will just go ahead and do it for you, zipping around so fast that they are nothing but a blur to your human eyes.

-Touchy but not clingy. Mostly these touches happen when they grab your hand or arm to urge you to go somewhere. Hugs are ok but not if they are too long, it makes them feel trapped.

XLR8 being a fan favorite to many is well-deserved for his sleek design, powers and general attitude, so I thought it was time I drew him. ;) I do find it funny that his design is based of a Xenomorph though. ;)

*I originally planned to have him wave, but I thought him having an arm just hanging out without connected to anything would look weird. :/ Hope you still like it despite it not being a full body drawing. :) <3<3<3

These are my kids, Kronos, the tetramand and Celeridiam, the kineceleran.

I just wanted to see Vilgax as a father figure. Just an evil family doing their best.

Of course, Vilgax its evil and his kids are trying to be like him.

At the beggining Vilgax just wanted to conquer the galaxy by having the best specimens of two of the aliens in the omnitrix, he teached them the art of the war and turned them into the greatest living weapons.

But, with time, he started to see them as his sons.

In my personal opinion, XLR8 has never had a bad design. Every iteration has been really cool.

Four Arms has been a bit... Dull to me. Not bad, but not one of my favorites.

Ditto's mah boy. Love Ditto so much.

Eye Guy I've never been a fan of. As a joke alien, he's alright, but nothing I've particularly liked. Bit too creepy for me.
