The title for June's brain dump took up the top right corner of the page. I decided to put a fishing net and a broken sign hanging from the fishing net. I thought it was super cute and it still gives me a lot of space to write.

I once again tried something new this month! For my habit tracker I decided to draw donuts as the background of the habit tracker and I really love the way it turned out!! It gives off dimension to the page and it also fills up more of the page. I normally do headers or footers as the way to tie in the theme, but I really love how the background looks with this theme. It also helps that each habit tracker box looks like a donut box so the double outline works out!

A simple weekly spread for my simple theme, I really enjoyed doing the doodles for this week, I think they still tie in the theme and the pops of blue are really nice!

My brain dump is super simple this month, I literally just drew a donut with a few bites taken out of it in the corner of the page and decorated it with the white gelly roll. I added in the title inside the donut hole and that was it, the whole spread is complete! I like to leave a lot of space in my brain dump cause I definitely dump a lot of things onto that page. I’m also thinking about changing the title of the page from brain dump to notes since I just write notes or whatever my brain comes up with, but that’s a June problem.

My first weekly spread of May was quite the adventure to make!
It’s the first dutch door spread that I’ve done in a really long time and I’m so happy to be trying out the dutch door spread along with the rolling weekly. I haven’t done a dutch door spread with a rolling weekly because I knew it would make the space for the task list super small, which I was right about. But I decided to try it out because it was the perfect opportunity to try it and I left myself some space underneath the Sunday donut to write any other tasks if I really needed a lot of space. I also got the dates completely wrong and didn’t even notice until after I took these pictures. What a ride!

I tried to turn the boxes on the left into their own separate puzzles. The events box is a puzzle that uses large pieces and the daily specific task box is a bunch of little pieces that I just didn't completely draw in so I could still have somewhere to write.

Happy May! This month’s theme is donuts and I chose donuts because one day I was really craving them and I just wanted to eat some donuts. Instead of going and buying some donuts though, I decided to create my own!
I picked some pink colours that give a more bright and colourful vibe compared to the other colours I have used so far this year and I’ve gotta say. I absolutely adore the way the white gelly roll looks on the pink!

Happy June everyone! For this month, I completely forgot about my bullet journal set up. I didn't realize how quickly the end of the month was approaching so I needed a theme that would be nice and easy to do. I decided to do a nautical theme with very minimal colouring and it did turn out pretty cute. I'm currently far too lazy to do my other weekly spreads, it might be a case of art block or just that I'm lazy this month and that's okay :)

I had lots of space at the bottom of this spread so I decided to draw a set of self-contained galaxies to tie the theme in.

I know there are a few days left of March, but tomorrow is part of my April weekly spread so I wanted to share this all with you now! I wanted something fairly simple looking and that didn’t require too many supplies for April's theme and I came across a picture by @bujo.by.frence on Instagram for their April 2020 theme and knew the puzzle theme checked all my boxes. It has been very therapeutic to draw all the puzzle pieces and the minimal colouring has been a major bonus.

Today I decided to work/study on my bed!
Was that a good idea? I don't know yet, we’ll see the results of my midterm.
Having the sun streaming in on my notes, bed and face was the honestly a breath of fresh air and a great feeling.
Can’t wait to study in the sun more!

This is the last spread of my April puzzles theme!
I’ve really enjoyed this theme, it’s been super easy and calming to draw and a lot of fun playing around with the different ways I could incorporate the theme throughout my weekly spreads. For this week, I decided to do a header of puzzle pieces. It’s a fairly simple weekly spread layout and I thought it was fitting to have a simple weekly spread to close out my simple theme.
See you in a few days for my May spreads!
This is another spread that I set up on my tiktok, check it out!

Puzzles! And big ones!
This is a layout that I do a lot since it gives me a lot of space to write and often a lot of space to draw in aspects of the theme, but for this week, I decided to turn the boxes themselves into big puzzle pieces so I think the theme is fairly clear hehe. I decided to write the day and date in the little bumps instead of directly in the box /puzzle piece itself.
I set up this spread on my tiktok if you want to see how that went!

A picture of my desk and the bookshelf beside it because I finally cleaned it! I took everything off of my desk and gave it a good scrub. I took everything off of my bookshelf, gave that a good scrub and (!!!) I went through stationary to throw stuff away and was able to make room!!!
It feels so good to have cleaned it all and to allow myself to just relax right after. Grateful that I had time to clean, listen to an audiobook and sometimes think. Grateful to scrub it all away and start anew.
