'마이너스 가수'라는 말을 들으며 18년을 버텼으니까요. 그런 제가 후크를 상대로 소송에 나선 건 밀린 돈 때문이 아닙니다. 누군가 흘린 땀의 가치가 누군가의 욕심에 부당하게 쓰여서는 안된다는 것. 이것은 제가 할 수 있는 최선의 사명이라 생각했습니다. 이제 50억원이 들어왔습니다. 물론 어떤 근거로 어떤 방식으로 저렇게 계산했는지 모릅니다. 다만 후크의 계산법을 이해할 수 없기에 앞으로 계속 법정에서 다툴 것 같습니다. 지리한 싸움이 될 것이며, 이를 지켜보는 대중분들께 피로감을 드려 죄송하다는 말씀을 먼저 드립니다. 그러나 약속할 수 있는 건, 미정산금이 얼마가 되든 전액을 기부하겠다는 것입니다. 일단 오늘 입금된 50억 원부터 소송 경비를 제외한 나머지를 전액 사회에 돌려드릴 예정입니다. 이는 하루 아침의 생각이 아닙니다. 후크와 싸움을 결심한 순간, 제가 받을 돈을 힘들고 어려운 사람들을 위해 전액 쓰고자 결심했습니다. 저는 지금까지 음원 정산금을 모르고 살았습니다. 물론 오늘 받은 50억은 제게도 너무 크고 소중한 돈입니다. 저의 10대, 20대, 30대의 땀이 들어있는.. 그러나 이 돈이 저보다 어려운 분들을 위해 쓰일 수 있다면 제가 느끼는 행복과 가치는 단순히 50억 이상일 겁니다. 차주부터 기부처 관계자 분들과 만남을 통해 구체적인 계획을 진행할 것입니다. 진짜 몸이 불편해 거동 조차 힘든 분들이 많습니다. 꿈이 있지만 형편 때문에 중간에 포기하는 친구들도 많습니다. 생명이 위급한 상황에서 제대로 조치를 받지 못하는 분들도 있고요. 그런 분들을 다 돕기에 50억은 부족할지 모릅니다. 하지만 작은 한 걸음부터 실천에 옮기겠습니다. 그리고 무엇보다 이번 일을 겪으며 많은 분들이 응원해주셨습니다. 같이 분노해주시고 위로해주셔서 큰 힘이 됐습니다. 제가 사랑받는 존재라는 것을 다시 한 번 느끼게 해주셔서 감사합니다. 그 사랑을 제가 조금이라도 사회에 돌려드리는 것으로 보답하겠습니다. 따뜻한 연말되시길 바라며, 늘 하던대로 저의 길을 성실히 걸어가겠습니다.

The value of one’s sweat should not be used unfairly on one’s greed. I thought this was the best mission I could do. There are now five billion won in. Of course, I don’t know on what basis and how they calculated it. However, I don’t understand hook’s calculation, so I think I’ll continue to be in court from now on. It will be an intense fight, and I would like to say first that I apologize for the fatigue of the public watching it. However, what I can promise is that I will donate the entire amount no matter how much the outstanding payment is. We plan to return everything from the 500 billion won that was deposited today to the society except for the lawsuit protection. This is not a morning thought. One of the lead example actor for his grittiness on working faithfully in the tough K-entertainment industries though he has been treated poorly. He is angry for the right purpose which is justice made right on this unfair world. Lastly, his generous giving to the less fortunate is admirable. I am supporting his dedication on giving his best in his talent and work regardless the credit is given or not. Giving your best is the least prerequisite any human can do to this world.
