Need to get something off my chest again bc tiktok kpop stans don’t know how to act normally whenever their fav male idol gets into a relationship scandal. Why do some of yall keep calling the gf’s of ur favs bitches? "I knew anton had bitches" "why are yall surprised taehyun isn’t bitchless" like you can call them women you know that? Some of you bg stans have internalized misogyny and you don’t even realize it. I shake in fear (/j) whenever I enter TikTok during scandals bc u guys constantly degrade the women ur favs are dating thinking it’s a joke. During the taehyun club scandal I deadass saw someone say txt’s dorm is gonna be clean now bc taehyun was seen dancing with women like is this normal to yall?? "It’s not that serious" it is though because it’s a derogatory term you’re using against random women you don’t know shit about. Let’s do better, these women are girlfriends and significant others, they are PEOPLE with thoughts and feelings. Not bitches, not hoes or whatever you losers call them for laughs and clicks.

I have been in the Kpop community for only 6-7 years (coming in on the tail end of 3rd Gen), and I have NEVER seen a shitstorm like this.

Seeing Chan constantly being the lightning rod for any hate towards Stray Kids hurts.

Chan had no reason to apologize for opening up about his frustration. I can understand where he's coming from as someone who also grew up in the Asian community.

Respecting your seniors/elders is, like, one of the first life lessons we're taught growing up. It's super important to do so! No matter if it's personal life or in the work space, you give respect to those who rank above you even if it's in passing.

So to hear that Chan is frustrated and tired of GIVING respect to both seniors and juniors and not getting it back, it's understandable. In fact, Chan is not the first one to speak up about this. Most 2nd and even 3rd Gen Idols have spoken about this respect gap, but Chan is getting the blame because so many keyboard warriors are singling him out.

To all those "fans" who say Chan is talking about your group...you're only pointing out possible culprits because he NEVER MENTIONED A NAME. So stop speculating and digging the hole even deeper. This was a comment that got blown out of proportion because someone decided he was targeting their favs.

If Chan decides to end Channie's Room because people take shit out of context and twist his words, I will not be surprised. I'd be surprised if he even opens up to us again. There was a level of trust that was between Stay and Chan, and now its fucking broken. I do not want him to continue Channie's Room if it's become an obligation rather than a choice for him.

TLDR: Don't be a shitty person to someone because you think they said something they didn't.

Hi! Hope you're doing swell. I just wanted to ask anyone who had an opinion: What do you think of (G)I-dle's 'Wife'?

My personal opinion, coming from someone who isn't a big fan of the group, would be I like it. It's not a song that will be memorable or have a big impact like some other songs. I really think they meant to make the song that way. The matching styles and silly lyrics. I feel that was intentional. It was something a little different and a little fun. The comments on it having inappropriate lyrics are a different matter tbh. Sometimes things can be interpreted wrong but hey I'm not here to tell you what you wanna think.
