My Darling Tommy, I miss you, Tommy. Things haven’t been the same since we haven’t been together. Sleep is rare, as the sheets have long lost your scent. I've succumbed to using your dress shirts from the wardrobe as pillowcases. I miss the safety that your arms provided me at night, and I fear till we are reunited, I shall not know the security you provided me. I miss the late-night smokes and the empty promises we whispered to one another to quit one day. I miss the way you swung and pranced me across Watery Lane till a smile graced my face. I do not think such a smile or happiness will be known till we are in each other's arms once more, Tommy. I wonder if we ever think about each other at the same time. You are always running through my mind and forever in my heart my love. Xoxo, Y/N
Is Tommy at war, away in America, on a business trip? You decide. Here is a little moodboard and blurb I did for you all tonight, and I hope you all enjoyed it.
You can request a moodboard, playlist, and a blurb that is couple related till March 18, in honor of what would have been my parent's 44th Wedding Anniversary.

Porsche was my baby before but your fic has turned me into an honest to god Kinn stan. I am ride or die for that dumbass now 😫🖐
Anon!!!! Me too! XD XD
When I started writing this fic, my entire motivation was to show Kinn how fucking perfect Porsche was. and then I wrote one chapter and then another one and before I knew it, Kinn had become my coochie coo baby bear (spare the terms, i am sleepy and my dictionary is on holiday). don't get me wrong, Porsche is still my baby and I love him dearly (as you'll see in KtK) but Kinn also gets the same level of adoration now.

okay SO not a question about any one specific character BUT: tell me about a character that you've written that you really, really love writing about and why it is that you love writing about them. i always find this so fascinating and love hearing people talk about their fave characters that they're proud of inventing 🥰
oooh that's a good one omg. and a tough one! i have to really think abt this one bc it usually depends heavily on the scene im writing, but that might just be because ive yet to get super far within any of the longer fics ive started writing that really have the chance to flesh out characters.
i definitely have a type in favourite characters to write, i just love love loooove writing any character that is cocky, obnoxious, but always manages to have a point or upper hand. just Fucking Annoying (affectionate) so it's not surprising that all the characters that came to mind for this question fit that criteria.
the first one being minho from my series what goes on in neverland, he wasn't intended to be a lead character and still isn't, the story's focus centers around the mc, chan, felix and eric, but im finding he is just fitting so seamlessly into the story as an essential character, because he mirrors the mc in many ways except for a key, stark difference — he doesn't give half as much of a fuck as they do. the story centers on a petty but emotionally-fuelled rivalry between mc's band and stray kids, and they all get very caught up in their feelings but minho, he just doesn't give a fuck. he's totally down to mess around, argue with them, fight them, fuck them if his boyfriend allows it, and even sabotage them if the situation calls for it, but it doesn't come from a genuine care about winning or proving himself or any of the personal feelings that cloud the judgment of the others — he's just in it for a laugh, a good time and a chance to cause chaos for funsies. basically he's just a huge enabler, and now that ive started actually writing him into early chapters im realising how naturally he plays at mc's flirting and mind games and fuckery. he's very observant about the people around him and has the self awareness most of the others lack, so he ends up a wildcard because of his easy understanding and getting along with both sides. which is even more fun when his boyfriend is just... the complete opposite. completely lacking any self awareness and way too in over his head in the rivalry. writing them together is a joy <3 i love causing problems on purpose.
another that comes to mind is ktk!beomgyu for a similar reason, even though i haven't finished that fic yet, so far ive only written beomgyu and i made him just kind of feral. within the first two minutes of meeting him he's eating pasta off the floor. carpeted floor. the whole fact that he's not human and has not grown up in the human world just leads to So many hijinks as he can completely ignore social etiquette and what is anyone gonna do? no one else can even see him! it's incredibly fun to have someone so detached and without a filter, so he can just ask completely out of pocket shit right in front of people that leaves our mc unable to reply as theyre in public, or just... shamelessly perving on their roommate because "dude, what do you think shinigami do all day up there? we just watch people. we watch Everything. this is nothing we haven't seen before." ah, the shenanigans.

A first KTK Draft report
I came back into Magic around M15 and the end of Theros block, but didn't start drafting until a Standard Chaos Draft around BFZ. So, I missed out on all the Khans block draft environments, at least until Arena brought KTK-KTK-KTK back.
Yes my first draft was a chaos draft, sometimes I do things that are harder because I can.
I wrote down my thoughts in a notebook to see my thinking to write most of this, and to see where I start to go wrong. It's a nice bit to get to do when drafting with bots, and doing it on Arena lets me get to play with my results, which is particularly valuable for me. I need more experience to be confident navigating a draft without play.
Draft Phase
Draft is linked here: 17Lands.com
Pack 1
Pick 1:
I was happy to see the three gain lands in the pack, not enough to take one first overall, but a nice bit to write in the notebook. I went with Highspire Mantis over the Deflecting Palm thinking that a 3/3 Flying Trampler is going to be more generally useful. Or at the very least a solid bit of my mid to top end.
Pick 2:
Hordeling Outburst beat out Arrow Storm, Disdainful Stroke, and Jeskai Student. Three mana, three 1/1 Goblins, I had to follow the old yell from The Magic Show. Also, going wide helps with blocking at worst, and can push more damage through. Just solid. Abzan Charm is appealing, but as much as I know that three colors is very much supported I have an aversion to having too many colors in limited. So picking that up early scared me. So would throwing an early pick out, but that is going to happen anyway. I also tend to over-commit and lock into colors way too early in draft. That probably happened here too.
Pick 3:
A large number of gains, happy to see (while writing this I can also see the Average Last Seen At numbers, and they're taken higher than I would have thought).
I took Stubborn Denial over Master the Way, Defiant Strike, Trumpet Blast, or Jeskai Windscout.
Stubborn Denial seems like a solid counter; if you can get Ferocious online or are real early in a game. I don't think this worked out too well for me. I wasn't Hell or Heckbent enough that Master the Way wouldn't have been a bad bolt. The 5 mana needed just seemed too steep. I had concerns about how many non-creatures I would have so I undervalued Prowess. Trumpet Blast I thought I could either wheel or would see more of later on, so decided to hold off, but it was the second on my radar. Defiant Strike just seemed worse than Trumpet Blast. At this point I've locked in on drafting Jeskai and have tunnel visioned.
Pick 4:
So much Red!
I went with War-Name Aspirant over Ainok Bond-Kin, Heart-Piercer Bow, Act of Treason, Temur Banner, and the Glacial Stalker.
Me at the time: "War-Name + Ainok combos well, hopefully can make it work. Hope to see another Bow in other packs"
I don't think I was wrong there, but part of me also valued the banners too highly, especially ones that were off wedge. I don't think that played out too well for me in the end, they're useful, but not something I should really want too much.
Pick 5:
Mardu Banner was the pick over Quiet Contemplation, Set Adrift, Siegecraft, Kheru Dreadmaw, or the Scoured Barrens.
A tapper that works when you cast a non-creature and tax yourself one sounded fine. I don't think it would have been after playing my matches. Three mana for no immediate text box or stats is not great.
Siegecraft sounds good for getting Ferocious online, but it's 4 mana for an odd buff, I don't think it was something I really wanted.
I think I should have taken the Scoured Barrens, but I was prioritizing mana rocks, and it can draw a card. (I would never be able to draw a card, I did not have another black source)
Some of that is probably my lack of comfort with three color mana bases in general, and more specifically in Limited. Getting afraid of color screw and losing a game to that probably hurt me here.
Pick 6:
The combination piece with War-Name Aspirant; Ainok Bond-Kin.
Goblinslide sounded good, but fell in the same bit with me and Quiet Contemplation. Three mana, does nothing until you cast a non-creature spell. This one makes Goblins though, and that is just better. I just dismissed it out of hand too quickly.
Blinding Spray sounded fine for a moment, it's an effect that gets reprinted fairly often. It also draws a card for 5 mana, but I think I'd rather have the card it would draw me than it.
Kheru Dreadmaw is back, still a no, especially not being in black and not being a reason to pivot to black.
Tranquil Cove, I'm too used to not prioritizing lands in non-Masters or non-Horizons sets. I think Bond-Kin was a good pick here, but Cove should have been a bit more of a draw.
Pick 7:
Efreet Weaponmaster was my pick. First Strike, pumping a creature when it either ETBs or flips is damn good, and almost got windmilled. If I weren't journaling it probably would have been.
Salt Road Patrol, it works well with Bond-Kin, and blocks really well, I don't think I gave it enough due.
Kheru, still no. Probably won't be mentioned again.
Snowhorn Rider. 5/5 Trampler for 6 isn't bad, and for a bit extra you can spread it across turns and maybe eat a medium creature. If I hadn't tunnel visioned on Jeskai I might have put out some feelers on Temur. But Weaponmaster was also in the pack...
Again, I wasn't prioritizing lands, but I think there's more of a reason not to in this pack to not take Tranquil Cove.
Pick 8:
Force Away was my pick. A 2 mana bounce with a potential loot. That's just good clean living.
Briber's Purse seems interesting, but I didn't know how fast the format would be, so opted to stay away. Early on I would rather be developing properly, and late game it seems a bit insubstantial.
Jeskai Student; I did not rate Prowess as highly as I should have been, so a 1/3 for 2 didn't seem great at the moment.
Glacial Stalker; a 6 mana 4/5 doesn't sound great. But a 7 mana 4/5 paid over two turns and spends some of that time as a 2/2 does sound a bit better. It can block pretty well too.
Pick 9:
Jeskai Elder was taken, the loot sounded really good, and I was questioning whether I should stay in white. That kind of beat out the new slight interest in Jeskai Student.
Rush of Battle piqued my interest too, but I was questioning white and wanted some creatures on the low end of my curve.
Pick 10:
Lens of Clarity sounds interesting, but doesn't really do anything beyond keep me from charging into a blowout. Nice, but I will find a way to do that anyway, and it doesn't do anything on board. Glacial Stalker gets the nod here.
Pick 11:
Jeskai Windscout beat out Defiant Strike, and the slightly off color gainland.
Pick 12:
I took the Temur Banner; If I had to do this pack over again, the Bloodfire Expert would be windmilled.
Pick 13:
Kheru Dreadmaw is off color, and the other card is an Elk. I will embrace the Edmonton Football team, now bring back the Elk Horn helmets.
"Pick" 14:
Naturalize was the only card there, it went to the sideboard immediately and stayed in the pool for the remainder of time.
The rest of the draft
I'm going to abbreviate some of this, because I did the exact same thing in my notebook.
P2P1: I took Suspension Field over Mythic Monastery. I thought the Monastery would wheel, and 2 mana to exile a big thing sounds good. For someone who was scared about color screw I sure did not take the land made just for me. This is a straight up whiff.
P2P2: Thought that the Salt Road Patrol would wheel, and went with the bow. I have at this point stopped looking at off color cards.
P2P3: I went with the on color gain in Swiftwater Cliffs. Monastery Flock interested me, but I need fixing... I gained wisdom over those two packs.
P2P4: Treasure Cruise is in this pack. I know it's history, but didn't think it would be worth too much in limited. I don't know if I'm wrong, but in an effective vacuum I want to play to the board.
P3P1: I looked at End Hostilities, but 3{W}{W} for a board wipe sounds like a lot. It's more achievable than I would have though, but if I'm needing it something has gone very wrong with what I've built. Another Efreet Weaponmaster was the pick.
Deckbuilding & Some Game Action
The Deck: Linked here
Building a limited deck is a weakness I have, especially in a format I don't know well. So I tend to make a bit of a mess by either not being low to the ground and aggressive or properly controlling to a solid late game. Instead building Midrange via the medium of indecisiveness. This is not helped by the quick drafts being Best of One matches that let me try going low or being more controlling.
Also having the first two games be over quite quickly.
Game 1 my opponent developed their board quickly, and swung in hard and fast, and Suspension Fielded my Highspire Mantis so there were no real chances to block. In Game 2 I kept a bad opening hand out of tilt, and the hope that a blue source would come. It did not.
Opening Hand:
Jeskai Elder 2 Plains Mardu Banner Singing Bell Strike Suspension Field Stubborn Denial
I rushed out the Banner (a Mountain was drawn at some point). They had a Mardu Skullhunter out on Turn 2 before playing a 4/2 Alpine Grizzly on 3.
Seeing danger I go to Suspension Field the big bear...
From Suspension Field's text box (via Scryfall)
When Suspension Field enters the battlefield, you may exile target creature with toughness 3 or greater until Suspension Field leaves the battlefield. (That creature returns under its owner’s control.)
Alpine Grizzly as mentioned above has Four Power and Two Toughness. Two is a smaller number than three. Suspension Field is an ETB, effect. It enters, sees no creatures that I may target with it and goes "Cool, I live here now."
I see a 4/5 drop the next turn and shame scoop after not drawing that Island.
Game 3:
There's an interesting set of decisions made in Turn 9's Declare Blockers: My opponent is swinging in with a 5/4 Ainok Bond-Kin (Outlast was used 3 times). From it's own text box it has First Strike. Sage of the Inward Eye (3/4 with Flying) is on the battlefield as an attacker. A second copy of Brave The Sands was played earlier in the turn, giving both creatures Lifelink from the Sage and two instances of Vigilance from the Brave the Sands.
I have an Alabaster Kirin (2/3 Flying, Vigilance) with a Heart-Piercer Bow, Glacial Stalker (5/4), and War-Name Aspirant (3/2 from a +1/+1 counter) blocking the 5/4 First Striking Bond-Kin. Leaving the 3-4 Sage unblocked while at 4 life, and my opponent empty handed. They are on 17 life.
There is also a face down Efreet Weaponmaster.
This is a bad blocking decision on my part.
In this position I'm trading off my potential flying blocker, and less importantly the War-Name Aspirant for the Bond-Kin. There are no fliers in my hand to block with, I can't win on the crackback both because I don't have enough power to do so when their creatures are tapped out, but also because the Sage has Vigilance (TWICE). However at that moment I think (and never double check that this is true) Efreet Weaponmaster has Flying.
I think this is a good block until I go to get high fives from others and am alerted to the misplay.
The only reason this isn't a blowout is the Glacial Stalker being set as the first creature in the blocking order and taking all the damage.
Game 4: I think I build out solidly, and attack well, but in the final turn cycle the fresh Bloodfire Expert gets a Feat of Resistance buffing it and giving it Protection from Blue in response to being targeted by Heart-Piercer Bow. It blocks profitably. I flip my Efreet Weaponmaster to take out their Monastery Flock and hit them for 7 taking them to 5. I'm on 13, they play a Swiftspear, and swing in with the team. I block their Expert with my own Flock, and they show me the last two cards in their hand. Jeskai Charm, giving the team +1/+1 and lifelink until the end of the turn (Hitting the Expert and Swiftspears prowess triggers for some extra damage). Then my Flock gets to take a Ride Down, giving the Expert Trample. Prowess. Prowess. I take 15.
After how I won Game 3 this feels appropriate.
Summing Up
I'm not sure there's much to put here to be honest. Valuing the gainlands higher is important, the banners aren't great, and I should pick a lane when building my deck. Overall, this was more an exercise in getting some of my limited rust knocked off. I've been a bit nervous over a bad draft or two taking away from the potential value the draft tokens have, or wasting gems to where I would need to buy more to draft more. Even when I'm rusty, I'm not that bad at limited. There's lots to clean up though, and I look forward to it.
Writing this is also breaking a bit of fear I have about writing. I don't know what my voice will end up being, but hopefully there's not too much yelling at me while I'm finding out. I've got a ton more rust here than with playing Magic.

Russia stopped the transit of oil from Kazakhstan to Europe WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 2022, 08:37 The Russian court closed an important terminal for the export of oil from Kazakhstan to Europe. "European Truth" writes about this with reference to "Interfax" . "Caspian Pipeline Consortium" (KTC) by decision of the Primorye District Court of Novorossiysk will suspend the operation of the sea terminal for 30 days. The reason for this decision was violations allegedly discovered by Roskomnadzor during the assessment of the technical condition of dangerous production facilities and compliance with environmental requirements during their operation. KTK is the main export route for Kazakh oil, it accounts for more than 80% of the volumes pumped through the pipeline.
The capacity of the pipeline is 67 million tons of oil per year. Kazakhstan has large oil reserves, but is landlocked except for the Caspian Sea.
Oil is exported from Kazakhstan through the terminal in Novorossiysk on the Black Sea. As you know, recently differences arose between Russia and Kazakhstan due to the war in Ukraine. In particular, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that he is unlikely to recognize the independence of the so-called "DPR" and "LPR". It will be recalled that Ukraine called on the states of the Caspian region to make maximum efforts to force the Russian Federation to comply with its international legal obligations and to stop missile strikes from this region.

MtG OC quick roundup
Just a quick post to jot down my current MtG OCs with an explanation of who they are. Putting it all under the cut because more posts are to follow and I don’t want to clog stuff up too much.
Lara: First OC I made, inspired by Ken Troop’s story “Building Towards a Dream”. She’s the daughter of a Meletis thinker and the king of Iretis, who were both killed (and the city destroyed) due to Ashiok’s (and Phenax’s) machinations. This last sentence is canon, by the way, it’s just that the king’s wife and daughter are mentioned en passant and never given names (and Ashiok leaves it up in the air whether or not the two actually died). Anyways, Lara is taken in by Setessa, finds out about Ashiok’s whole deal, and vows to hunt him down. She’s still young, but she’s determined. She’s a nature-loving girl, kind, curious, but also very strong-willed.
Levantera: She’s a medium, in a way, in that she can interact with spirits. Originally from Paliano, she grew up as an orphan but was soon taken in by Brago’s court once her abilities became more evident. These became instrumental in solving a variety of murders and/or helping the deceased find peace, while also picking up a few spirit friends who decided to stay with her. Brago’s assassination comes as a huge shock to her, and her story as a planebound character ends with her flat on the ground before Marchesa’s throne, with an arrow in the back. Not to worry though, I’ll write what happens next... someday. Levantera is a very bright-eyed and friendly person, she takes her duty very seriously (and is quite good at what she does), though she can be distracted by things or concepts most people would glance over at most it’s the adhd. Hates Marchesa with a passion. Will have a heated face-to-face with Kaya. Adores Selvala.
Arel: She’s a canon mtg character but is only mentioned in a few flavor texts and in the guide, so I decided to take those little nuggets of information and run with it. Arel is a Temur shaman (ktk) / outcast (dtk) that wants to take Tarkir back from the dragonlords. She’s a hard-headed but capable person and is proud of her shamanic traditions. The pain she has suffered at the hands of Atarka is great, having lost both of her parents and her master, Chianul, to the clan, but this only gives her the resolve to keep going. She has recently begun to reach out to other clan outcasts and/or rebels in hopes of sparking a plane-wide rebellion that will finally dethrone the Dragonlords. She’s not the best at social skills, but she has a big heart and is very affable. Also, tough as hell.
Xathi: another canon mtg character that I’ve stolen from obscurity, also from Tarkir. Xathi is Silumgar’s top Infallible (title for Silumgari dragonslayers), a position that comes with more risks than it does benefits, for the most part. From the outside, she is everything the Dragonlord expects of her: cold, calculating, resourceful, loyal. Underneath that mask, however, is a seething hatred towards Dragonkind and a surprising amount of camaraderie towards her fellow oppressed. Xathi’s many tools and “surprises” as she call them have helped her secure a high number of dragon kills, and she cannot wait for the day when she gets to add Silumgar’s name to that list. Xathi does not talk much and would have a hard time relaxing, but her straight-forwardness and affability give her a disarming charm (as Lishue found out in their debut story).
Lishue: Another Tarkir character, but this time, surprisingly, entirely fan-created. Lishue is an Ojutai Graceblade, someone who can focus their psychic power into manifesting a blade of pure energy (this is canon, and cool as hell). She is a skilled warrior, having undergone many years of intense training before being chosen by a dragon as a Speaker. Though not well-versed in much spellcasting, she is adept in both Spellfist arts and the previously mentioned Graceblade technique. Lishue has honed her mind and emotions a lot too, though still sometimes has a hard time achieving total stillness and peace: to entirely let go is something she struggles with, as she has a very strong connection to her emotions. She is calm and soft-spoken, pensive and wise, but all that may fly out the window depending on the circumstances...
And that about does it! If you’re curious about any of the above you can shoot me a message or check out my AO3! https://archiveofourown.org/users/Nalyd
(The characters in this post appear in the following stories: Lara // The Weaver and the Hunter; Levantera // Lost Souls; Arel // Dissenter; Xathi + Lishue // Dragon’s Betrayal)
Apologies if some of the images may not load correctly on AO3, I just now noticed that some may have issues. I’ll fix it tomorrow!

Visitor (Tommy Shelby x OFC!Estella Holland)
Pairing: Tommy Shelby x (OFC) Estella Holland
Warning: Slight Swearing, A Slap, Death, Talks of Death, Tuberculosis, Taking Herbs
Word Count: 0.9K
Synopsis: Tommy goes to bed in one place and wakes up in another. He isn’t sure it’s real.
Notes: Divider is made by the beautiful @firefly-graphics; I know nothing about gems, but I did google and read my mother’s gemstone book, so please don’t come for me.
Tumblr media
Tommy wasn’t sure how it happened. He went to bed in his vardo in the middle of nowhere and woke up in the middle of the forest, Estella, his beautiful gorgeous wife sitting beside a fire. His beautiful dead wife, the one Tommy had just laid to rest just two months ago. When he first saw Estella, he thought it was just another vision his war-damaged brain conjured up again, but when she hugged him from behind, Tommy felt her lips on his neck and smelled the flowers on her skin. He knew it was his Estella.
“So this is heaven, eh? I’ve got to say I never really believed in such a place. The closest I ever got to believing was when we were together, but this, this must be it, if we are together again.” Tommy grabbed ahold of Estella around the waist and pulled her to his lap as she laughed. Her laughter was music to his ears, even years after being together. Estella threw her arms around Tommy’s neck as he placed his forehead against hers.
“Every day we were together was our little piece of heaven, but this is permeant. You’re here because you needed me. Why did you need me, Tommy?” Estella nudged their noses against one another, trying to get her husband to open his eyes to look at her. Meanwhile, Tommy felt his heart drop to the bottom of his stomach. She had to be real and not a dream or a mirage. Estella felt so real. Tommy could feel the velvet fabric of the dress she was wearing against his palms.
“Tommy, why did you ask Esme for the herbs to make you go to sleep? Why did you need me so badly?” Tommy felt a cold soft hand brush against his face. It was ice cold. It was so chilling for them to be so close to the fire, and suddenly he felt his heart breaking again. But, of course, it was not real. It was never real, to begin with.
Cold lips brushed against Tommy, pulling him from his never-ending thoughts. Tommy opened his eyes to the lips, kissing him every day and night with love and tenderness. Tommy knew this was his Estella, whom he loved and cared for.
“It’s Ruby. She got tuberculosis as well. It already took you from me. I couldn’t save you and break the fookin’ curse. The doctors don’t give her much time, but I thought if I came to you, you could do something, Estella, she’s our angel, and I can’t lose her too. I don’t think the kids could take losing their sister too.” Estella pulled Tommy into her chest. It wasn’t often her husband cried. Currently was probably one of the handfuls of times she had seen it happen, and they all had to do with their children and her. She knew this was serious, her daughter was lying in a hospital bed dying, and her husband had almost died via herb ingestion to see her.
“Here is how we’ll fix this, Tommy.” Estella pulled her husband's head back from her body so they looked each other in the eye as she wiped his tears away with the pad of her thumbs like he often did for her.
“In my jewelry box is a citrine necklace. Please take it to Esme, have her charge it, put it on Ruby, and ask her to make a balm. When you see Ruby Tommy, you must promise to wear your mask. So kids can’t lose you too.” Tommy took a deep breath, like most times when trying to keep himself from fighting with his wife.
“If it’s my time to go, it’s my time to go. The kids have Polly and Aberama. They do not need me.” Tommy’s face flung to the side as Estella slapped her husband's face. Then furious at him, she stood up and started to pace.
“Don’t you dare say that our children do not need you, Thomas Michael Shelby. You are the only parent they have left! I fought so hard to stay for all of you. Tommy, I would still be there if I could, Tommy, but I can’t. So that means it’s up to you to be both the mother and the father. You need to be the one that bandages scratches, cuddles the monsters away, settles the disputes, eases the heartaches, and most of all, has the heart to hearts. It’s okay to go to Ada, my sister, or Polly for help, but you need to be the one to do this. You are their father. Act like it, and show them you care. Don’t be like our fathers.” Estella leaned to her knees before him with her hands in his, pleading with him, tears running down her eyes.
“You will never be alone, Tommy, because I’m always going to be in your heart, because you promised to love me with all your heart, but the thing is, you couldn’t. You shared your heart with our beautiful baby boy Charlie and girls Josie, Ruby, and baby Eliza. They will always make sure you are never alone again, either.” Estella stood with Tommy’s hand in hers, yanking him to his feet. The bonfire had gone out. The air was suddenly freezing, colder than he remembered.
“I love you, Thomas Shelby.” Tommy started to look around as he began to notice the forest around them was getting darker and darker.
“I love you more, Estella.” one last lonely tear slipped down Tommy’s cheek as Estella kissed him, whispering in his ear.
“Wake up, Tommy.”

Focus Characters: Den, Fren, Odelle, Tali, Ri, Kirsh, Lell, Idell, Sned Status: Rough Draft 2.0 / Editing Initial Draft
Unnamed Story: Obviri’s Story
Story Tag: N/A Summary: Growing up in the Stone Court and allies with the key powers of the Stone Lands, Obviri is in a prime position to effect change across the Stone Lands and push for things not even the queen had dared. Focus Characters: Obviri, Sarari Status: Planning Stages
Burning stones (BS)
Story Tag: Burning Stones Additional Genres: (Murder) Mystery Summary: Sister Gurenri is invited to the temple in Riverport but a string of politically motivated murders force her to confront the same thing that destroyed her family as a child. Focus Characters: Guri, Yarr, Vir, Thradden, Tolle de Ecsie Status: Initial Draft complete 2014 - Needs Rewrite.
Original Characters:
I have 162+ of them as of typing this up. That is far too many to list here and give you links to their specific tags.
My general tag for anything that has to do with any of my ocs is: My OCs
The post that has all of their names listed (but not their tags, same post linked in my header): My Star Verse OC’s
Generally, if you want to learn about a specific character, stick their name in the search and it’ll pull up anything with their name. If it’s a character that has a name that’s also a common word, you can generally find their specific tag at the bottom of a post about them.
World Building:
For General World Building: Star Verse: Worldbuilding
My tagging system generally follows Star Verse: Topic to distinguish it from non-star verse posts about the topic. Although I haven’t developed that tagging system very well so you’re probably better off just using the search function.
Overview of the Word:
The planet is spherical in terms of the curve of the planet, but it is a hollow shell around a magical core and floats of magic clouds that emit tons of radiation and energy. The planet is also only ⅔ of a world and the edges are shrouded in the magic mists.
Fun aspects include a lot of world shaping magic, undead politics, shit tons of bioluminescence, and the fact I have at least thought about if not extensively developed almost every aspect of the world over the course of working within the Star Verse. If you doubt my claim, send me an ask about a topic. I’d love to ramble about it, or on the off chance I haven’t developed it, do that!

Do traumatic events always trigger a latent spark? Or does it depend (on plot)? I want to know for a story I'm writing. Narset in KTK just died, but in DTK, she sparked, and it wasn't even for a near death experience. Is it a case of first known traumatic event of a certain level awakens your spark, or is it just a feel thing?
Traumatic events don't always trigger a spark. You pointed out a good example. If they did, every time a toddler had a temper tantrum their spark would ignite.
