I'm rewatching Shokugeki no Soma and, let's be honest here...

Season 3 is The Childhood Trauma™ arc

We get:

Akanegakubo's character design being AN ACTUAL CHILD (I'm talking about the train station scene but no gifs for that)

2. Rindō getting excited for destroying the Rebels, in a really childish way

3. About 3 or 4 long AF episodes that show why Erina is HOW SHE IS and her finally getting some character development ✨ through the power of friendship ✨

4. A few glimpses of Soma's upbringing which reiterate how much he is like his dad (again, couldn't find the scene as a gif but it's when he cooks in the Polar Star dormitory for [spoiler] in season 3)

4. A little bit of Mito's childhood and why she was so adamant to be Erina's favorite back on S1 (again, no gif of the scene)

5. Hayama being A BITCH and joining forces with [spoiler] but somewhat understandably so because he has severe mommy issues.

While waiting for the event to begin, we have another event coming! It’s the first zine hosted by this account named: Four Seasons: Shokugeki no Soma Zine! It’s most likely going to be a free zine so anyone can join as long as they follow the rules!! It will focus on different seasons of the year [Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter] and feature both canon characters through illustrations, writing and even have some printable merch! There is also going to be an oc corner if anyone is interested!

Over 3000 words and still not close to finishing…it is the longest one-shot idea I’ve ever written so far.

I’m actually quite proud of writing some of these scenes of just…in a food fight, Kuga would definitely win because shortie has an army.

But it doesn’t mean the other students are going to take it lying down 😂

🥘​Kuga has to only see his darling passing by him once before he's already completely struck, it's love at first sight for him. A worshipper without a doubt, he looks at his darling as if every star in the universe is inside their eyes and he adores everything about them, even things they're insecure about. He definitely is delusional, convinced that you like him but are more shy and embarrassed to admit it so it's easy to twist words and actions of dislike into something else. It escalates to the level where he tells others that you two are dating and his behavior certainly doesn't help those rumors. Very obsessive, he is on edge when you aren't with him and wants to know where you are. If he has got his hands on your number expect him to spam you with calls and messages where he whines for you to come back. The male comes over as insensitive since he wants to know more private secrets of you quickly and is convinced he has the right to know as your "boyfriend".

🥘​Clingy and possessive. His darling discovers quickly that Terunori is terribly touchy, his hands always locked around your waist or his cheek rubbing against yours like some sort of tame cat. You'd be a bit startled to know that he's quite territorial despite being a social individual. What do you expect from a attention seeker such as himself. He attempted a few times to stalk you but this is an art he can not master since he's prone to explode when he sees someone else being very close to you.

🥘​Since I already mentioned that he is an attention-seeker it is self-explanatory that he naturally dislikes anyone who takes your attention away from him. He grows squirmish in a matter of seconds which is noted by you with his grip tightening around you and trying to win your attention back. He won't have much of a problem to interfere if he doesn't know the person and he ends up mocking them a lot with a gleeful grin on his face. He manages to be confident despite his jealousy since he knows of his privileges as one of the Elite Ten. He's less of a dickhead when he is around people he knows and respects, though he's still highly annoying and extremely pouty for being ignored by you. Let's see how long you can endure him smothering you before you snap.

🥘​His status is somewhat intimidating already, not to mention that he is a little asshole around those you know but he doesn't. A Cooking Battle should settle the matter if he's still in the academy since he stands at the top for a reason. Kuga is a terribly competitive individual after all, eager to prove to his darling that he is the best so he makes it his goal to beat anyone who you seem to like in hopes of eventually having you acknowledge him. He also uses his men to scare competition off or anyone he views as a problem. His rather playful mockery disappears once someone actually bullies you or hurts you in any way though because the fun stops there completely and he might as well start bullying them. He abuses his power, probably ends up forcing them into a Cooking Battle and will demand a high price in case he should win.

🥘There's never been much of a question that his darling and him will live together right after graduating and he is saving money already for a pretty house. He's terribly pushy with his dream he envisions in regard of your shared future and protests go through his ears. Your mouth will only start hurting if you try to reason with him. It's quite scary how unshakable his delusion is and Terunori won't give up on his pestering at all. If he has to force you into moving in with him, he won't have much of a problem since it's all in the name of your future together with him.

​🥘​I think that is a given in Food Wars but there is an immense thing of pride going on when it comes to his darling enjoying his food and he wants to be the only one to cook for them. Kuga is fuming when you prefer the food of someone else and indefatigable to create something more delicious. Loves feeding you and he's all too smug if you admit that you crave his food and want him to make some for you. Repay him with a kiss and he'll make you whatever you want. He's a sucker for your affection and especially loves to lay his head in your lap. Bonus if you start playing with his hair. Wants to marry you badly soon after graduating and for the better or the worse he tells you about this fantasy of his. Overall a huge sucker, he doesn't even snap if you point out his height though he ends up whining about it for a long while after.

As you opened your eyes, you looked around and rubbed your eyes, your eyes landed on your calendar, with one date encircled. Kuga's birthday. "Ah crap, my preperations.." You said, looking at the time. "8:17..?" You muttered. "FUCK ITS AT 8:30" You said, getting out of bed.

You heard footsteps and saw a out-of-breath Kuga at your door. "WHAT HAPPENNED?" He said, looking around the room. You looked at him, not wanting to spoil the surprise. You resorted to 1 option. "GET THE FUCK OUT IM NAKED" You shouted at him, pretending to cover yourself. Of course, you weren't naked, you just needed to get him out so he wont suspect anything. "Jesus, fine, just wanted to help..." He mumbled, sipping coffee and walking out of the room.

You got up and wore your favorite clothes, then you went down and got ready to leave. "Leaving so soon? And no greeting for dear me?" Kuga said at the door. "Lets go out for groceries." was all you said, putting your coat on. He responded with a "Fine fine" while walking out.

You had a list of things on a piece of paper, the normal things like paprika and stuff. You gave kuga the list and he went away. When he went to the agreed meeting spot, you weren't there. He started getting worried when he waited for a few minutes.

He checked his phone, there were 5 messages from you.

He checked the time and started to panic, you sent him that last message 20 minutes ago. He thought, "Fuck, where are they now?" looking around. He spotted a person with your h/c and h/s. He ran up to them and grabbed their shoulder. They turned around and he realized it wasn't you. "Sorry sorry, I was looking for someone."

After a few minutes he sat down, he checked your messages and saw you were typing. His eyes lit up and he was confused. Then he saw the message. "Totsuki Academy, behind Chinese Cuisine RS building." He read. He quickly called a Chinese RS member to drive him to the spot you said.

Then, he thought about the worst possible situation, what if you were held ransom? Or worse, got sexually assulted? His brain was in shambles as he started to get close to the destination. Then he felt the car stop. He opened the door and got out, admiring the trees and the scenery. Then he remembered you, he snapped himself out of his thoughts and ran through the greenery screaming your name.

Then he saw you, he got relieved as you ran to him. "Look! I made all this, see see? I hope you like it!!" You said with a smile on your face.

The rest of the night was spent with good bento boxes and smiles.

tsukasa eishi was so so obviously in love with you; his breaths would suddenly get heavy, his cheeks would redden so contrastive from his milky skin, almost everyone in eishi’s small social circle (read: the elite 10) knew how paralyzingly lovesick he was for the charmingly intimidating heir; they all knew how desperate he was for even a sliver of conversation with you, how he looked at you as if you were a breath of fresh air.

they all knew, except you.

“y/n-chin, im serious! tsukasa-senpai is really crushing on you!” your classmate and higher-up in the elite 10, kuga said as he continued to badger you. “‘teru, jokes like that aren’t funny, you know?” you glared at the blonde as you crushed various herbs in a mortar. “it’s not a joke, ugh!” he groaned, “even nene-chin knows about his crush and she’s just as clueless to love as a robot!”

“it’s ridiculous, no!” you sigh for nth time. “why would the 1st seat out of all people have a crush on me? the only thing elite about me is probably my family.” you dryly laugh, your eyes softening at that slim hope that it was true, that it wasn’t some .

“ooh! what’s that smell?” a familiar voice called out, the kitchen door making quite a loud bang as it closed. “is the y/n making a new dish~?” your senior said as she came up to the two of you.

“what do you mean, the? you’re the 2nd seat, rindo.” you retort back. leaning onto the counter and scoffing, she continues the previous conversation; “i heard kuga saying something about tsukasa crushing on ‘ya, right? he’s right though— tsukasa’s such a dork when someone mentions you; eyes looking for you and all!” she laughs to herself at what you can only assume was a former experience.

“hmm… you really think so?” you asked doubtfully as you put down the pestle and start to prepare the main course. “obviously!” rindo scorned, her phone buzzing. “hah! speak of the devil, tsukasa needs to talk to you about the agreement for the first years’ stagiaire and your family’s restaurant.”

“now? ah, fine…” you begrudgingly take off your apron and wash your hands. “ooooh, what if he confesses his love for you~?” the feline-like girl goaded, getting a kick out of the groan you silently let out as you left the kitchen.
