Kirishima: Phew, I'm starving!

Kirishima: Miyase just left on a shopping trip tho...

*clack*

Kirishima: Hey, there's a lot of different ingredients in here.

Kirishima: ...

Kaname: Koya-kun, you left the fridge open.

Kirishima: Oof, my bad. Gotta be more careful next time. Zoned out coz of the hunger, y'know.

Kirishima: Since that's how it is, I got no choice but to cook food myself!

Kaname: Eh, could you even though?

Kirishima: Don't judge me yet! I've been practicing what Miyase has taught me from time to time. It'll be fine.

Kirishima: What I could use now is shrimp, bean sprouts, edamame... oh, and I'm craving meat - gotta have that too.

Kaname: If it's meat you want, there should be some from last night's leftovers. You okay with that?

Kirishima: All right, we got meat!

Kirishima: Oh yeah, gotta have eggs! Most stuff taste better when you have 'em mixed in.

Kirishima: For now, we throw 'em all in a bowl, and...

Kujo: What are you making?

Kaname: ...an original dish.

Kirishima: Haha, we're just randomly mixing whatever's in the fridge tho.

Kujo: A dish without a name, huh. Interesting. Allow me to help.

Kirishima: Then, please prepare the rice, Kujo-san. This right here is the type that you can just nuke in the microwave to fluff it up.

Kujo: Understood.

Kaname: What about the seasonings?

Kirishima: It already looks good as is, but... I could add something.

Kaname: You can't go wrong with sesame seeds and salt, I think.

Kirishima: Yo, sounds great.

Kujo: Maybe adding some Sweet Mango Chutney would make it taste better. As the name implies, it's mangoes boiled into jam.

Kirishima: Mango's great! Let's try adding a little bit of that.

Kaname: (I wonder if it'll be okay...)

Kirishima: While I'm at it, add some lemon juice too... Like so! Once they're all mixed, into the frying pan they go.

*sizzle*

Kaname: Oh, that surprisingly smells good.

Kujo: I have a feeling that this will be a masterpiece.

Kirishima: This sort of thing tastes best when you let it simmer at medium heat.

Kirishima: ...okay, that should do it.

Kaname: It'll probably taste better with mayonnaise.

Kirishima: That's what I'm thinkin'!

Kirishima: Mmmm! This is hella tasty!

Kaname: It feels nice and fluffy.

Kujo: Makes me want to drink wine.

Kirishima: Hey, we might have the talent for cooking, don't we? Gotta let Miyase try this out!

-- A few days later --

Kirishima & Kaname: ...

Kirishima: Why!? Why doesn't it taste like the one we cooked before?

Kaname: We really didn't think about the measurements and went about it pretty randomly. Maybe that flavor was a one-time thing.

Miyase: It is also delicious today.

Kirishima: No, it tasted way better before! Trust me!

Miyase: Yes, of course. I believe you.

Miyase: Miracles are bound to happen again one day. That's what cooking is all about.

After this, they would occasionally find themselves in the kitchen, with the belief that another miracle would happen someday.

😍 - Three favourite things about Jotaro.

God how could Eileen possibly choose!? (Cop out answer)

She likes his funny lines, when he thinks he's being a badass but he sounds lame instead. Even the funny thing bullshit with the "a vein pops on a stand users nose when they smell cigarette smoke" and everyone else going "Woah!! What a stellar observation!" While he's just "I-- I lied. I lied So Much." Its like getting to see behind the curtain.

"How did you bullshit so hard?!"

"Oh I would've lost it if I had known, known, y'know?"

Eileen loves Jotaro's insistence on wearing his hat Everywhere, even underwater. He has a look and he's sticking with it. Stubborn bastard.

She likes that he's a character who doesn't need to state his morals, he just does it. Action over words. Makes Jotaro very geniune.

🐶 - If Eileen and Jotaro were to get a pet, what would it be?

Well, The Hounds aren't exactly pets I suppose... Hm... Eileen would love to get a fancy rat! They're friendly and fun to play with! She'd try to convince Jotaro to get one with her, "It'll be a new family member! Don't you wanna take care of something so soft and cool?"

Unfortunately, rats are a no go for Jotaro. They just, they're rats. He doesn't... Rodents don't gel well with him.

Instead they settle on two hermit crabs! Properly cared for of course. So it's a little pricey, but man. Jotaro and Eileen feel a stupendous amount of joy when they see the little fellas are all settled!

Their names are Shelbert and Clawrise.

💚 - Who gets jealous?

Man, I'd love to say Eileen, but the opportunities for jealousy to happen are just...weird. Usually when people show interest in Jotaro it's for his looks, not anything like his work or what he likes. And that just upsets her, she knows Jotaro doesn't want that kind of attention, isn't particularly a friendly person, or a people person in general, so she would just like to shield him a bit.

Eileen would only get a playful kind of jealous. Like, let's say someone emailed Jotaro about a paper he published, and now they're pen pals. First, Eileen would be elated! Jotaro gets to gush about marine biology with a fellow fish nerd? It's awesome!

It's when he ends up spending, like, two hours drafting an email response that she goes, "Hey Jojo, I'm feeling a little neglected!" She's leaning on his shoulders where he's sitting on his swivel chair, rubbing her cold nose against his neck. Jotaro huffs a little and half-heartedly bats at her face. "I'm busy, I'll be there in a minute," his eyes are glued to the screen, mouth quirked in a smirk. Smug bastard. "But! I'm lonely!" she groans into his throat.

So Eileen doesn't really get jealous. Jotaro on the other hand? Pray for his tortured, angst-ridden soul. When Eileen finds a friend, she's super affectionate. There's obviously a matter of body-language, she's pretty good at judging who wants a hug or a kiss, or would like some distance. But as soon as she's got that blanket permission? Shes cuddling and talking up her new pal. Like, her and Kakyoin?

"Noriaki, darling, dearest, plleeeease give me the last brownie?" She's smushed her cheek against his, giving the biggest puppy-dog eyes. Kakyoin makes a show of considering it, a flash of defiant 'I don't think I will' shining in his violet eyes. Then rolls his eyes and tosses it her way. "Aw! Thanks pudding pop!" Eileen replies before devouring the block of chocolatey goodness. Meanwhile, Jotaro's over in the corner, watching this, thinking: "I wanna be her pudding pop. Why can't I be? Huh??"

Jotaro ends up acting a little prickly until Eileen digs into his mood. It's easily resolved, she goes "Of course you can be my pudding pop! Why didn't you just ask?" And then gently asks if he'd be more comfortable if she toned it down? She didn't mean to make him uncomfortable, blatant affection was just a way for her to show appreciation of her friends. And well... Jotaro... He likes that about Eileen. He likes how honest and willing Eileen is to put herself out there. He might just want more attention than he was willing to admit before.

When people are flirting with Eileen however? Oh boy. Run, duck, cover, something along those lines. Although, Eileen has a hard time believing anyone would be interested in her. Anyone else, that is, she clearly won over Jotaro with her wit and charm, but her face?

She's got scars on her face. Big, jagged looking scars. They started blood-crusted red, and have healed over to a pink sure, but who likes that? Especially on a woman. It might be rugged and cool on a guy but... Yeah. She ruined her face. So, she doesn't pick up on flirting from other people.

So, poor Jotaro is fuming as Eileen cluelessly goes, "oh? You're a fan of my wood carvings? Sure, I could show you my workshop sometime!" Eventually Jotaro can't take it anymore. So, Eileen finds herself with a 195cm shadow glowering at the new friend she's made. Its uncharacteristic of Jotaro to be so, touchy. She doesn't mind! It's a treat to get PDA when it's available. She's soaking up Jotaro's touch, melting when he calls her nicknames, getting a little embarrassed when he refers to her as 'his girlfriend', 'limpet', on and on. When they get a moment alone she's a little giggly, splaying her hands on his shoulders, looking into his eyes with little hearts in her own. "What was that about, Starshine?" she asks. "I missed you," Jotaro's rigid posture goes relaxed under her touch, her voice. "I was just across the room," she teases a little. "Was too far for me."

I wouldn't exactly call Jotaro's jealousy subtle, but he isn't one to make a scene as long as Eileen isn't bothered. Although, the moment someone harrasses her, it's all over.

🛩️ - Where would Jotileen go for their honeymoon?

Jotaro and Eileen get married in 1996, after they've had Jolyne and Jouta, so their honeymoon turns into a family trip! Disney World is in Florida, so it's within the state they've settled in. Eileen has never been on a rollercoaster before and is so!! Excited!! She's unfortunately the only one going on the coaster in their little family, so she slips away to go while Jolyne and Jouta are napping and Jotaro's looking over them.

They have to take it relatively easy with a four and two year old, but it's a lovely week away from home with no dishes and no job responsibilities.

🍼 - Want kids?

Jotaro never considered kids in all honesty. At least, not beyond a perfunctory thought. Its the expectation, right? Marry, have children, then die. ...Okay that sounds a bit bleaker than he would mean it to be. Then his relationship with Eileen got serious. Which is to say, their relationship has never not been serious, but it went from: "I love you and I need you to survive this with me," in SDC to them dating in a normal societal context. When Jotaro and Eileen turn 19 Holly and Nobuko start talking about marriage. Asking when Jotaro's gonna pop the question, since he and Eileen aren't 'kids anymore' and Holly would like some grandchildren. Hell, Joseph is eager as hell to spoil some great-grandchildren. That makes Jotaro think about what comes with marriage, in a typical sense. Does he...want children? When the idea was distant and impersonal, Jotaro would've said no. But with Eileen? He'd cherish any new additions to the family. He's just scared if he'd be able to keep them safe. So, when Eileen gets pregnant unexpectedly Jotaro has a minor crisis before his determination to protect her and their baby grows stronger.

Eileen has always liked kids. She made money babysitting when she was a teenager, and she had a lot of fun. Of course, it was also tiring, keeping up with little 3 year olds and their boundless energy, dietary restrictions, scheduled nap times, bath times, etc, but it was worth it! She felt pride in a job well done. So, when she contemplated the future she saw herself having kids down the line. She'd work hard to make sure they would have anything they'd want and need, and be there for them... More open than her mother was. She'd make them feel loved, not like a burden. So, yes, Eileen would love to have kids. When Eileen's thoughts about the future start to revolve around her and Jotaro, together: God, she wouldn't want any other man. She loves him, she can't imagine a world without him in it.
