On your colorings, do you use any psd after finishing it?

It depends on how I want to edit them!, For example if I wanted to mix it with official art like how I have been doing lately and i don’t know if I like it or not yet then I use different kind of psd to match the colors and make then softer then I normally do. But if I was only colorings then I use a little less psd if that make sense but overall yes I always use psd.

hello guys~! su here! so i wanted to announce that this blog somehow managed to gain 5k followers a few weeks ago and for which i am really really so happy! its been like 16 months or so since i started making edits and posting them here and to be really honest i never expected this blog to grow this much and have so many followers! and so, i am really really grateful to all my lovely followers and my talented mutuals! thank you so much guys! if it weren’t for you guys, i would have never been able to gain so many followers and talk with soooo many awesome ppl! i am really grateful to each and every one of you! *hugs and kisses you all*

Ruby, Weiss and Yang gifset (RWBY) - i really like how the coloring turned out on this one. It was my first time trying to color a gifset from scratch!!! (other times i use the amazing psd of tumblr - which i reblog all of them here - to get a base). i also really liked the animation of this scene and the girls relaxing after some time apart was amazing (too bad Blake wasn’t there  :(( 

Haruki and Miou first meeting gifset (Itsudatte Bokura no Koi Wa 10 cm Datta) - i also loved how this coloring turned out. I think the colors ended up matching the scene well. It’s my favorite pastel edit ♡

 “...mixed in with the smell of the river, was the scent of rain “(Sangatsu no Lion) - i remember watching the anime and being like omg this animatiooooon. march comes in like a lion does have great scenes that deserve to be giffed lol. i had a lil bit of trouble choosing scenes with very similar colors so i  had to edit each one separately. in the end i liked the result!

“ Right now, I have to cross paths with this person...” (Sangatsu no Lion) - this was a gifset that surprised me. the green ended up standin out more than i expected (which made it better! in my opinion) and, even still, it didn’t get all pixelated. in the end it’s a bright colored gifset of a scene that i loved . (the color game is strong in this anime gosh). and this gifset got its first notes pretty fast too! thank you, guys!! 

 “...Didn’t she tell you to get strong?” (Elsword) -  honestly i loved this coloring. i don’t know which adjustments i used to make it like this, but i think it’s one of my favorites. and it was very fun choosing which frames would be giffed (there’s a lot of emotion in that scene heheh). and it felt like the number of gifs used, as well as their size made it look even better.

EXTRA: Ignis & Aqua / Aster & Luna (ocs) - okay i wanted to include one more in this ranking  because it’s an old drawing of mine. but i still love it. especially Aster and Luna at the second pic. seriously i didn’t think their outfits would end up well (tbh who would think i knew how to design a character?!). i didn’t draw anything for this year yet (i have a block or something), so i got this one from my previous blog.

ONS Krul Tepes Gifset - It was more work than I thought trying to find solo scenes of Krul, since she’s not really in the spotlight except in like two episodes out of the two seasons, so some of the gifs came out looking different than the others despite have the same psd effects. Tldr; a bit more work into this set than the others but I’m really digging the pastel pinkish tone

BSD Atsushi’s Transformation Gifset - Not completely 100% happy with it since I kind of regret not adding in more scenes, but that vibrant blue color tho 😎

YOI “I really want to kiss the gold medal.” Gifset - Didn’t really have much expectations while I was working on it because I has having a hard time picking the scenes and choosing the coordination, but the coloring came out better than I thought and I’ve received a few compliments from people though through the tags lol

ONS “Don’t forget, Yu. We’re family.” Gifset - It’s my own work but I just love everything about this one--the color, coordination & timing, and ‘cause it’s MikaYuu  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

BNHA: Dabi coloring: I really loved how this edit turned out in the end because the colors and the composition itself. I wanted to make a “manga-ish” frames edit to fit the images well since they were a bit small and cut from the original manga pages. I had the urge to color Dabi in this chapter, because he was so freaking awesome and I missed him so much in the manga so I decided to color these new few scenes he had from the villains attack.

BNHA: Heroes Date Coloring: I never had so much fun on making a edit as I had for this one! Really enjoyed coloring most of the 1-Class babies, Horikoshi had launched this official cap on his twitter page and when I saw it I tho to myself “omg I need to color this cause it’s so adorable!”. It was a big challenge for me coloring these ‘cause seriously it was so many characters at once, had to think and make the color schemes for some of them that I still didn’t colored and I really wanted to hurry and share it with everyone! I done this in one day... wow so fast never done a edit so fast LOL!

HAIKYUU!! Iwaizumi coloring: This one was for a friend’s birthday and it was my first time coloring Iwaizumi. The reason I love this edit is, because it’s Iwaizumi and his a cutie XD lol it’s composition, colors and scenes I’ve choosed of him! I think it’s well framed, all the images match with each others and with his quote! In the end I felt something was missing so then I tho on adding an animation it would make it more alive and cool! :)

DGM: Lavi Coloring: This Lavi edit was a coloring request for a friend! :) First of all, when I started coloring him I didn’t had any idea how this edit would turn out! I was so lost, went searching for more scenes of him and I was starting to stress because I couldn’t find any good ones. Then I found these cool sketches from the mangaka’s twitter and I tried to combine the images. The colors were also a big challenge for me... I’m going to be honest here, I hate the new exorcist uniform colors, it’s too much black and a bit of red lol and since Lavi is redhead and has a orange scarf I was afraid this would be an excessive reddish edit lol. But in the end it turned out very well I think and I liked it! One thing I love doing on my colorings and passing into edits, it’s adding the colors of the colorings itselfs to the backgrounds and typography :) it matches well~

PH: Xerxes Break: Never tho Mochizuki’s manga would be so much fun to color! Seriously when it comes to color mangas, I love when it’s those manga styles where the drawings and everything else are neat and clean! It’s so much easy to understand and to clean the caps. Xerxes was so cool and enjoyable to color, not to say that he is funny on his own way and he’s one of my favs from pandora hearts so it helped even more lol. I will try and looking forward to color more pandora hearts scenes XD
