Honestly, if they DID start dating, I could see the two not wanting to tell their moms or siblings out of not wanting to hear either "finally" or "we knew it". Lots of passed love notes, sneak away make outs, texting each other secretely.

I could see that. They're both young, been fighting against the claim that they are for so long and would likely be embarrassed about pda. They sneak away whenever they can, hold hands when possible (movie dates are common), whispered conversations and soft "I love you"s hidden away where they think others can't find them. Then it depends on who finally catches them in the act, be it someone that can keep a secret (for a fee) or shouts out to everyone else about it, that would be an interesting scenario

but I'mma let that up to all y'all since as I've said, I see them as being frenemies with the potential for more but unsure if they want to be

Honestly, Luella is lucky this is a Molecule Man who's got his comics weakness and can only effect either non-organic molecules or his OWN molecules. Otherwise? He could've simply snapped his fingers like the beyonder and disintegrated her. He did that to a hero in the comics once. Like, at full power, once he's gotten over that limit, this is a dude powerful enough to CREATE UNIVERSES.

I keep thinking about how literally every out of this world threat Lunella's faced has kicked her butt at least once. Beyonder almost destroyed the world AND fucked with Coney Island. Molecule Man literally almost beat her to death. Even Kid Khree got some damn good hits in before Marvin helped Lunella upgrade her shields.

Like Moon Girl can totally face anything in the LES area but the moment someone comes from out of town my girl is STRUGGLIN'

Here's a small dialogue based on @l-egionaire headcanon of Sasha being a big eater:

Sasha had arrived at the local mall in the meantime, trying to find something to do while waiting for Anne and Marcy. She soon walked into the local all-you-can-eat buffet, eyeing at the long table of assorted foods with mildly watered mouth. The person at the counter gave Sasha a curious glance, but quickly pointed at the door as the girl approached.

"Get out", he said with a quiet but stern tone. Sasha frowned at the harsh response.

"Why?", she asked while occasionally looking over at the other people enjoying their foods, making eye contact with the man glaring at her.

"You're banned from here. You ate a week's worth of food in one go last time", he stated bluntly . "Do you have any idea how much money we lost due to closing shop so early?!" Sasha shook her head, and quietly walked out of the store.

The man at the counter sighed, covering his face with his palm. "Great, now I feel like a jerk for talking like that..."

Here's an idea I can't help bit think of regarding how Masters!Gloria might handle Hoo after he loses to Gordie: After he tells her he lost, she nonchalantly takes him to go get a bowl of curry. He thinks it's just her being her usual food obsessed self, but she starts talking about how delicious the curry was and that it was just as good as the curry in Motostoke. She'd compare the flavors and talk about the different ways they'd make delicious tastes and bring up how the tastes are delicious even if they're done through different recipes.

And then Hop realizes what she's getting at.

"Leon is a great trainer. But he's like that because he battles the best way HE knows how. And you're good because you battle the best way YOU know how. You're both good, even if you aren't good in the same way. Just like this curry."

"But....but, I lost! To Gordie! To Bede! To you!

"So? I lost to Kabu. It's fine. Losing is just part of battling sometimes. Sometimes you lose, but it's just part of life. Part of battling. Like eating at different curry places. Not every place is going to be great. But that's okay. As long as you enjoy the experience and can have a better time when you try again.

Hop is stunned speechless. After a few seconds he goes to leave.....to get Wooloo out of storage.

I really loved this scenario a lot that you have laid out. I can totally see this happening! I love how you had Gloria use her love of food to convey to Hop that he needs to be Hop, and not just a carbon copy of Leon. Plus I love how you threw in Gloria's own defeat at the hands of Kabu. I personally love it when the player characters aren't treated as unbeatable forces and when it specifically comes to Gloria/Victor I love how them having an official loss puts them in contrast to Leon who until his defeat to them, had an unbeaten official streak.

Relationship status: Single with no plans to change that any time soon

Favourite colour: Blue, specifically either a sort of turquoise color or cobalt, depending on my mood at the time.

Favourite food: If we’re talking like...real food and not candy or sweets, then this kind of “soup” I make out of poultry gravy, chicken, and rice. Especially when it’s leftovers and the rice has soaked in the gravy and chicken and the whole thing has become really creamy because of the starch from the rice. 

Song stuck in your head: “Wait for It” from Hamilton.

Last thing you googled: "Brizzy Voices”. I watched a recent video where she mentioned being a professional voice actor and I wanted to see if she was in anything I might have recognized or anything I might want to watch and see if I could “spot” her voice. 

Time: About 130 AM. Yes, I probably should be sleeping. No, I’m probably not gonna sleep anytime soon. 

Dream trip: One that’s physically impossible, but if it wasn’t, I’d want to basically have a split trip between Disneyland (which I’ve never been to) and Disney World (which I’ve been to and know I love). Essentially I’d want to spend enough time in Disneyland that I could experience everything there I’m interested in at least a couple times, and then just be transported to Disney World for like...a week and a half to do all the stuff I love there.

Last book you read: ....Do “Art of” books count? If so, then it’s “The Art of Soul”, but if not, then I’m pretty sure it’s the first book by James Rallison/The Odd 1s Out. 

Last book you enjoyed reading: I honestly don’t think I’ve had a book that I didn’t enjoy reading since I was out of school and had full control over what I actually read? But I think the book I read most recently that I enjoyed the most was probably....”The Last Human” by Zack Jordan.

Last book you hated reading: “Lord of the Flies”. I don’t like it. I just....I just don’t.

Imagine Camila finding out that kids had bullied her daughter.

THIS WOMAN WOULD GO ON A RAMPAGE

I think with what evidence we’ve seen so far from Luz, she has a history with being bullied and made fun of for who she is, but Camila may not know the extent of it. Luz probably lies to soften the blow. She tells her why she was sent to the principal’s office, but she never goes into detail - she doesn’t mention how all the kids sneer at her for being so weird or the taunts that follow her in the hallways. She doesn’t mention how any time any “popular” kid makes fun of her, everyone laughs along. She only mentions that, oh, I was reading one of my fantasy books under my desk (to ignore the kids sitting next to me that were firing spitballs at me). I brought snakes in to class for my project (because it was a group project and my group left me out of all the planning, so I made my own).

Camila didn’t even know anything had been building up to that point aside from Luz’s creativity disrupting class time. She noticed that Luz never talked about friends at school, she never asked if she could have friends over, and she assumed it was because she just didn’t fit in with the other kids. She had no idea that Luz’s peers bullied her.

Sending her to camp was admittedly, a bad attempt at getting Luz to make some friends, but an attempt nonetheless and I can see where she’s coming from, especially now that we’ve seen Vee interacting with those other teens. Because in her eyes? It worked! Luz (Vee) did make friends at camp! They’re weird like her! Camp actually did get her some friends from town that she can relate to and feel accepted by!

When everything is said and done and the dust has settled, Luz may finally tell her mom the whole truth about why she hated her life in the human realm so much. It was never Camila, Camila was the only reason she felt any desire to go back at all. But lord, the moment Camila finds out the true extent of Luz’s treatment by her peers, she’s going to have words with the school staff. Why was my baby the only one to come to the principal’s office? Hm? Where were the other kids that felt the need to overreact to her antics? Where were any of the teachers that surely witnessed this bullying going on on a daily basis? That entire school staff had best hope she leaves la chancla at home because as soon as Camila finds out her baby was being outright bullied? She’s gonna rip that school apart.

I’m kinda leaving that up to all y’all. If ya’z want them to remain rivals/frenemies or enemies to friends to lovers or something else, that up to y’all. Personally I’m just having fun with their dynamic and see them more of two kids trying to get out from under their respective parent’s shadow and be seen as more than just “___’s kid”.

Luz, Raine and Camila for the writing meme?

Pick a character I’ve written and I will explain the top ~three to five ideas/concepts/etc I keep in mind while writing that character that I believe are essential to accurately depicting them.

Luz is ADHD! It's important to write her as such. Focusing can be hard, she's great at side tangents, etc.

Cannot be smooth on purpose. She just can't. She's tried and it ends with her going ass over tea kettle in front of Amity. Luz's charm is her love, is her willingness to fight a dragon, is her determination. It's not her words.

Luz will do anything for friends. She rarely stands up for herself or even gets angry on her own behalf. It's for others. She's never had friends before the Boiling Isles and she treasures them

Raine is NOT a good speaker. They're very awkward and stilted. The few times they manage to sound smooth are usually in casual situations when they're teasing Eda. Otherwise it's a jumbled mess of ums and wells.

Talented! Raine is extremely talented. They were the gifted kid who worked their way up to Head bard entirely on their own skill. It's incredibly impressive, especially considering their stage fright. They're so strong and no one can ignore that.

ACTS OF SERVICE my god are they acts of service love language coded. Just like Luz, Raine will do anything to keep the people they care about safe and happy.

Camila rarely understands the full picture going on but she is RIDE OR DIE. 'That little guy is the bad guy???' then tossing bats at Kiki. Doesn't get or like the Boiling Isles but her two daughters are part of it.

Mom vibes!!!! So many mom vibes. She'll adopt your ass. She'll adopt her neighbor's ass. She'll adopt five teens who show up on her doorsteps' ass.

She still makes mistakes! That's life!! But she loves her family and will keep trying to do better for them

What are your thoughts on the main riders dragons species in the Nine Realms? (The Night Light, the Featherhide, The Mist Twister and the Gembreaker)

Gembreaker: Enjoy their design. Those horns? Stellar. Those beetle wings? Gimme gimme gimme. I also love the idea of their temperament as they were introduced, though since Plowhorn's introduction episode they haven't shown any of it. A shame, since there's great concepts here.

Featherhide: Best design of the "main" new dragon species. Adorable. Love the temperament, personality, abilities, design. N to the O complaints here.

Night Light: [sigh]

Mist Twister: Cool concept in theory with the fire and ice heads. And I still like the concept. I suspect that the Zippleback was designed with spark and gas heads exactly to avoid a more "standard" idea like this, but that's okay. The problem is the design doesn't look good. Which is a shame, because introducing Chinese-inspired dragons to the HTTYD world is exactly what needs to be done in a world expanded beyond Vikingdom.

"Like what you see?" she asked in what was meant to be an innocent tone but failed its intent as she wriggled her hips to make the soft fabric of her wedding gown flow around her body like water.

Swallowing audibly, Hiccup stepped closer, his hands gliding around her waist. "I do," he murmured against her neck. "Although, there's one alteration I'd like to suggest."

At her questioning noise, his fingers dug into the fabric and tore it apart, leaving her laughing, her skin now bare in front of him.

Well, the dress had served its purpose anyway.
